Customer Beware! Oil Service - Fluids Were Not Topped Off…read moreI'm disappointed with my recent oil service at this shop. After paying for the service, I expected the basic fluid levels to be checked and topped off as part of the maintenance. However, I discovered that the washer and power steering fluids had not been topped off. I went back to the shop weeks after oil service because my vehicle was whining. I asked the mechanic to check the power steering fluid and sure enough it was low! I then asked mechanic to top it off and he said no because the fluid was at minimum. Mechanic told me I probably had a leak. I told him I did not! My Vehicle Manual states that the level needs to be above minimum to full. So needless to say I had to purchase a bottle of power steering and washer fluid to top off myself in Addition to the $80.00 oil service. Before this I had referred my Grandson and after a few weeks he too called me to tell me that his washer fluid had not been topped off. Routine maintenance should include attention to these basic service items, and I shouldn't have to double-check whether the work I paid for was actually completed. This was frustrating and made me question the overall quality and thoroughness of the service. I hope the shop takes this feedback seriously and makes sure customers receive the complete service they are paying for. Do Better!
