I read it can take two to three days for the check engine light to go off after doing this, so I waited. The "Check Engine" light is programmed to automatically come on at certain mileage intervals. If you have provided proper maintenance, the only other thing causing that light to come on is a loose gas cap or the whatever mileage point you've recently rolled... typically 35K, 75K, etc. It is a way, for the Car dealership to get you back in the bay doors so that they can charge you to run the scanner and auto diagnostics test. They usually tell you everything is OK, and turn off the light! This will still cost you $175 or more. I found out Auto Zone will do this for FREE. I called them and they verified it. I went here today for Auto Zone to run a diagnostic test. I noticed the check engine light finally went off. Although my car was good, I did verify in person in Auto Zone to make sure they did a diagnostics test. I, also, got Rainex for the windows. This Auto Zone seems like a good store. I will go here for my car needs.

After talking to my Lexus dealership we concluded that it was the 12v hybrid battery. So after USAA jumped started my car we drove to advance auto parts (after calling to confirm they had the battery we needed) and was faced with such GREAT customer service. EVERYONE we spoke to was super helpful! They had us come back because one of them was going on lunch and he said he'd help us change it out and do any computer work that was needed. I believe his name was Josh. He helped my husband and we are so grateful! This place is A1. After a stressful morning they literally saved our day! Highly recommend. Josh was great. From the beginning with my service advisor Allan,I felt that my primary concerns were not taken seriously. I clearly explained the issue during check-in, yet I had to repeat those same concerns later because they appeared to have been overlooked. Instead of focusing on the problem I originally brought the vehicle in for, I was encouraged to authorize a repair that was not my immediate priority. While I understand the repair may have been necessary, I was not financially prepared to complete it at this time and had not intended to move forward with it during this visit. Initially, the technician made it seem as though that repair(the brake light), was the reason for my concern with my vehicle. If I had not spoken up and insisted that my original concern be addressed, I would have left with the actual problem unresolved. When I did advocate for myself, I felt as though I was inconveniencing the technician, which made the interaction uncomfortable. Only after the vehicle was sent back for further inspection was the true issue identified. I would have appreciated having my original concerns taken seriously from the start instead of focusing on secondary repairs before diagnosing the problem I came in to address. Good customer service includes listening carefully to customers and addressing their primary concerns. Overall, I did not feel valued as a customer during this visit. If there were another Nissan dealership in the area, I would likely choose to take my business elsewhere. Unfortunately, Matthews Nissan is my only local option in Clarksville.

Look I normally go to Auto Zone and w/o question. The only trouble with that is you never learn how good another customer may want your business. Little separates these type businesses so sometimes it's the intangibles.. Maybe it is not you but your spouse next time.
