Felix was awesome, friendly, polite. Kurt the repair guy was also very polite, nice answered all my many questions with respect. I would very highly recommend this company. Being an older well, senior citizen I did not feel threatened at all and again they were so very nice. They replaced my tire as I had two screws in it and could not plug one of them. It did not cost an arm and a leg and as I mentioned I did not feel like they were patronizing me. I really would recommend this company to anyone without hesitation. read more

One of the smartest purchases I ever made was the Tires Plus Lifetime Alignment. I have used it 3 times already and my Nissan Sentra doesn't pull to the right anymore. I used it after my car was towed. I used it after I drove over an invisible curb. (Stupid invisible curbs!) And I used it when I first bought the car. I already saved $450. Plus, it's transferable. Excellent customer service From Management Jimmy Vinci . I called Up and asked if they could take a look at my Jeep brakes on a Saturday . Even letting me know that they were a little busy but absolutely willing to help me out within five minutes I drove up to the location and received excellent customer service. Very personal and understanding Jimmy never made me feeling like I was rushed even though you could tell he had multiple things going on. He did call me multiple times with status updates and letting me know about parts that had to be ordered. Give me a couple different options to choose from. But he explain to me the best route that I should go I completely agreed. I asked if he could complete a couple other service things on the vehicle it was no hesitation he says I got you we're gonna make sure that you feel comfortable when you leave here. What Jimmy doesn't know is I've been in customer service and retail management for over 20 years and I've shopped at multiple tires plus stores and I have purchased multiple sets of rims and tires & this by far was the best customer service experience that I've ever received. I am taking my wife's vehicle up there tomorrow to go ahead and get an oil change and everything done to her 2020 Dodge Durango. When typically I do that at the dodge dealership. Although they 'screwed up' on first attempt, will give 5 stars due to how difficult it is to find employees. First: Jimmy beat the best internet price I could find. Did not care I did not want hazard warranty. However they did order the wrong tires (after verifying size) but corrected the error without fuss (although it took 4 days). It did take awhile to schedule an alignment - they get busy and much better to drop off vehicle for half a day. I will be a repeat customer The TK guys did a good job for years, however they are overpriced and roadside hazard is expensive (rip-off basically). LAST STRAW! *******WARNING******** So I've been using this location for years but the last 2 times I tried to get tires, their prices were much higher than even the dealer. My spidey sense started going off that this place may not be an honest business. Well today proved it. My mom called me and said she was at the Tires Plus located at McMullen Booth and SR 590. Her car said one of her tires was low so she took it there for a repair. They told her she needed 4 new tires. When she informed me of this I told her I was on my way. When I looked at her tires they looked new. I asked if she had already gotten 4 tires and she said no. So we asked Sam, the tire salesman, why he told her they needed to be replaced. He stated "because they were dry rotted". I asked him to show me the dry rot. He struggled for several minutes attempting to find dry rot. He pointed at the tiny treads that wrap around from the treaded area to the sidewalls. Yeah, that's tread, not dry rot! He had already replaced her leaky tire with a new one. I asked him where the leak was. He stated it leaked threw the sidewall. So she drove 17 miles and it suddenly "leaked" threw the drywall? RIGHT! I would CAUTION you using this particular location. At this location the personal keeps itt honest and does not try to up sell you on anything you do not need, and customer service is wonderful. Each employee I've encountered has been very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. The prices are very competitive I've even gone online and research the prices in the area. Personally I've been to this location 4 times over the past couple years. my mechanic has been amazing each time. He is honest and does OUTSTANDING work. It's very hard to find an honest car maintenance person in general. Manager never called me back to replace the specific lug nut I need.. so now I will be wasting even more money on replacing that. I've been going to this place since I've moved to Florida about 4 years ago and I'm just baffled at my recent experience. I got in for 2 tires to change. At first they had to order my tires and they'd call me when they got in, never called me #1 I had to reach out. Then when I come in for the tires they tell me no shot getting done today. Then same day about 15 minutes till close they tell me it's done. I go pick my car up. Front 2 tires are at 41 back right is at 34 and the back left at 33... glove box was left open.. my lock lug nut to get the last lug nut off my car is also not in there. I call the day after, no answer all day long on their phones. I called today and got Greg who was not helpful in the slightest and didn't care at all to try to help. I asked him what all goes into their tire changes. "Depends on the car" should my tire gages be so different? "Depends on the car" is my lug nut there at the shop? "Bring your car by so we can look in it." I've wasted now 3 days on this. I am leaving for a funeral in Kansas in less then a few hours and I can't even get any direct answers from them. I just dropped $500 dollars on 2 tires and now I'm chasing them to try and help me when this shouldn't be an issue from the very beginning. I know accidents happen but Greg couldn't of cared less and did absolutely nothing to find a solution and didn't even ask my name/car or apologize for the fact I'm wasting 3 days now/many more and I'll be gone the rest of the week... just to come back and have to take my car by so they can "check" and be sure the lug nut That is mine is not in my car... how many places can you hide it in and why not just put it in the cup holder so I can put it where I always do? Great service! I needed an oil change and found out that my oil change also comes with a tire rotation! Woo hoo!! The people were super friendly AND they even fit me in on a busy day!! I have a major birthday trip to Disney World tomorrow (woo hoo!) and I TOTALLY forgot to change my oil so I asked if they could see me and they said they had appointments all day! :( BUT if I came in, they would try to squeeze me in. Well, I was in and out in just an hour and 15 minutes! One good episode of The Good Wife! Lol (I was watching on my phone). The prices are totally affordable, the service was quick AND nice, and I didn't feel like they were taking advantage at all. I normally go to my car dealer for oil changes but they were all booked up today and now....I don't know if I'll return to my dealer for oil changes. :) Cause this was $10 cheaper AND faster! Do not, repeat, do not, get your car repaired here. On two separate occasions for two separate items they have overcharged or try to overcharge. This last time I brought my car in for a simple oil change and alignment and they told me the tire arm was broken and it would be approximately $260 to repair. Instead we went to a trusted mechanic a little further away and found out that the nut holding this arm in place had been loosened. This is not something that just naturally occurs and rarely occurs in Toyota vehicles. From now on even though this location is very convenient to our home I will go elsewhere. read more

I've been here twice in the past few years (cars under warranty). Once for a battery replacement on a weekend- systems were down but I had my receipt and they accepted this when calculating my credit- very cool, manager seemed to have authority to make decisions without corporate micromanaging. Paid about $20 for a new battery. Last week, I stopped by for a Tire pressure monitor light that was left on (among others) when I went to a dealership, and they failed to turn it off. I turned off maintenance lights but couldn't get TPMS lights off. I looked at manual and online but the guidance was inadequate (and the Tires Plus tech tried the same technique at first). He then went to a specific menu and figured out how to turn it off- Gratis. No big deal but if it was "diagnosed" that I had a monitor issue, I could have paid $50-$100 to repair. Thanks for spending five minutes- as opposed to the dealer that I have paid thousands to that couldn't do it right the first time or be bothered to figure it out when notified. read more

Came into today randomly after noticing some metal debris wedged in my tires. Was served quickly even though I came off the street. Thankfully, none of it had managed to pierce the tire itself. Go any where but here. Terrible customer service. Should be called Service Minus, not Tires Plus. Stopped by on Friday to get a tire repaired and was told it would be a two and a half hour wait, but I could make an appointment for Saturday. Great. Made an appointment for Saturday and showed up promptly at my designated time, to be told it would be 30 minutes. "Even with an appointment," I asked. "An appointment just puts you at the front of the line'" responds counter guy. "Understood, no problem" says me. An hour goes by and I walk back up to the counter to check on progress. There is none. My car is still sitting out in the parking lot, where I left it an hour ago. Counter guy asks "can I help you," as I watch a tech walk out to somebody else's car and proceed to pull it into the garage. "I thought I was at the front of the line" I say. "That's mechanical, you're at the front of the tire repair line." Wow, who knew there were two lines? Hell, maybe there were more than two. Maybe I was at the front of the rear tire repair line and there was someone at the front of the front tire repair line who would be going next! An hour and fifteen minutes into what should have been a twenty minute repair, I decided not to waste any more time, so I asked for my keys. Counter guy asked why and was not even surprised when I told him their customer service sucked. Leaving, I got a very sarcastic "have a nice day" which irritated me even more and garnered him a "f*** off" as I went to the door. Counter guy followed me out into the parking lot. For a minute I thought things might be confrontational, but then he reached the limit of his ability to hold his breath while bowing up at me, and having to exhale, he went back in the store to disappoint the next customer. Before getting work done, together, check your car for any damage. They damaged the driver side of my car and came up with some excuse why the damage is there. I back my car in at my home, driver side is along trees! They damaged my car. January 16, 2016 To Whom It May Concern; I would like to share with you my experience the past few days with your Tires Plus location at 1620 N. McMullen Booth Rd in Clearwater, Florida. On Thursday January 14th my wife asked my 19 year old son to take our 2010 G37 in to have a tire patched. We had previously purchased tires from this store and placed the road side hazard service on the tires. My son took the vehicle in on the afternoon of the 14th to have the tire patched. It took almost 4 hours for them to patch the tire. At the time of service one of the Tires Plus employees tried to sell my son new tires on the vehicle. My son politely declined as it is not his car. Once the patch was complete my son returned the car home, which is approximately 3 miles from the store. The following morning my wife goes to get in the car to go to work and the warning light is on indicating there is a problem with the tires. My wife became concerned and we check the tires for air. They were all properly inflated. My wife asked my son to take her to work and then stop by the Tires Plus location again to see why the sensors were on. Upon his arrival to the store one of the employee's informed my son that all 4 sensors were dead on the vehicle and needed to be replaced. They also informed him that the alignment was now off as well. My son then brought the car home and informed me of what they told him in the afternoon after I returned home from work. I called the store location and asked to speak with the manager. I was informed that they would need to take a message for the manager. Today, January 16th, after waiting all morning for a return call I called the location back at 1:15 p.m. I spoke with an individual named Chris on the phone and I explained to him that I believe that when the patch was done on my car on Thursday damage was done to my alignment and sensors. I explained to him that it seemed awfully coincidental that all 4 sensors which use batteries would go out at the same time and that my alignment would be so far off after having just been in their service shop. I strongly suggested that they, Chris, should do the right thing and fix this issues that I was now experiencing. He was reluctant at first, but after seeing my point he said to bring the car in and they would "take care of things" for me. I arrived at the store a few minutes after 1:30 today and asked to speak to Chris. The employee that I was spoke to identified himself as the store manager and said Chris was in the back. He said he was aware of the situation and asked me to pull the car around. I pulled the car to the front of their service entrance where the store manager walked around the car with a device monitoring the sensors on the tires. After he was done he informed me they were all dead. I let him know I knew that already and I was here because I believed his store either replaced or damaged the sensors from when they did the patch on the tire 2 days earlier. He tried to explain that Nissans sensors don't last long and act like dominos going out all at once. He then said these sensors were 7 years old. He also stated he would have to remove all 4 tires to change out the sensors. I explained to him that I have owned several Nissan vehicles and have never had an issue with the tire sensors. Owning one vehicle for 12 years and one for 9 years. I am also aware that the sensors work on a battery, much like a watch battery and are individual to each tire. My son was also at the store for close to 4 hours on Thursday with no view point of the service area, so there was plenty of time to switch the sensors out. That's why this all seems so fishy to me. I then let him know that Chris had already told me that they were going to make things right and I expected the sensors to be fixed along with the alignment. The store manager told me he was not authorized to say that and said he would not help me out but if I wanted to purchase them he would. I let him know that I would not being doing that and that he was about to lose all my future business because of his deceit and that I would be contacting the corporate office. I then left. I cannot express to you how utterly disappointed I am with this store. I have purchased multiple sets of tires for many of my vehicles at this location. I also use this location for many of my oil changes on my vehicles as well. I have literally spent thousands of dollars here and to be treated this way is unacceptable. I hope you understand how truly upset I am and the fact that you are losing a valuable customer. I will no longer do business with this store and no longer refer friends to this location as well.
