I know some of these reviews are over a year ago, some even three but yesterday, September 8, 2026 I had an emergency headlight problem and actually they were closing everything up and Louis was extremely helpful because it was getting dark I had just picked up a friend who told me one of my head lamps were out and I didn't want to drive around with one light at night and they helped me find the correct bulb with another worker who looked up the item number, and I was able to pay for that light because Louis could have just shrugged it off and went home but he cared enough to take the time pull out the old one and see what kind of bulb I needed... I'm a retired senior and I appreciate the concern and time this man took for me to be safe for the rest of the evening... I give rides to disabled veterans and friends and was very grateful to know there's people in this town that Care and just don't shut their doors lock up and ignore situations, especially an emergency one like that because it's very dark not very well lit in town. Let me see. On the first of November I went to the Walmart on 1401 Gray Hwy to pay some bills, the money center was closed. A manager was talking to one of co-workers. I was standing right next to them,I thought they would stop their conversation and ask me if they could help me, they looked at me and continued to talk to each other, I finally asked them if I was invisible. I told the manager I needed to pay a bill she told me the same person that was working customer service was working money services too, because they were short of employees. I asked the manager to work the money center so I could pay my bills, she told me she did not know how to work the money center. Ain't that nothing? Those of us that go there to make money transitions know what I'm talking about. The first two weeks of the month should be all hands on deck and every day too. I am thinking corporate knows the money center is closed sometimes. You can pay your bills at SuperValue on Esienhower Pkwy, it opened in the plaza where the childrens dentist office is. Maybe I am relying on Walmart to much and I should seek else where to handle my business, because Walmart does not care. read more

Nobody knows anything! Ordered 4 Goodyear Tires for my truck, they're supposed to ship to the Walmart but the day of the installation the appointment is cancelled and the order delayed indefinitely. I hear nothing for over a week. I call the Auto Center to inquire about where my tires are or when I might expect them, the guy I speak to says 4 tires fitting the description of my order are in the shop but he has to make sure they're mine and not someone else's. This guy says he'll check and call me back. Spoiler alert: that didn't happen. I heard nothing the rest of the day or the rest of the weekend. Monday I go to the Auto Center in person to get to the bottom of this. I explain myself--all over again. They find the tires--all over again, and inform me that the shipping tags are *gone*. They have the brand tags but nothing connecting these tires (which are totally mine) to my order. So they can't give them to me. I want the tires I payed for, but none of the Auto Center employees have any idea what to do, because (go figure) "this hasn't happened before." They tell me to call the +1 (800)-WALMART help line. I drive home and call, and the lady I speak to tells me to call the help line again when I go back to the Auto Center. So now I have to act as middle-man between two people who work for the same company. I go back the next day and call up the help line right before walking in, and I have to explain myself *again* to a lady who has an even weaker grasp on English than the first lady did. I wait in line at the Auto Center and before getting to the front I think "what am I doing" and hang up, get on my banking app and request a refund. The lady on the help line said something about "pulling up the tracking number", not grasping that the whole issue stemmed around the tags being gone. If there was a tracking number on the order of tires, THERE WOULDN'T BE AN ISSUE, BECAUSE THAT WOULD PROVE THEY WERE PART OF MY ORDER. So yeah I got fed up and left. I doubt I'd have been able to successfully do anything while acting as go-between for two parties who have equally little idea as to how to address the situation. The service has been terrible. I had to do all the legwork myself to even found out where my tires were, and when I did there was a mixture of rules, screw-ups, and incompetence that prevented me from even getting them. Do not go here, GO TO COSTCO! Spend the extra money. The staff , except wonderful Debbie and very kind Lauren, the auto manager(didn't get her name) on at the time is very non customer service oriented. We got a confirmation for our tire change a day before and said there was a 15 minute grace period. We got there within the 15 min grace period. We pulled up and said oh ya we can't help you today, it's a holiday weekend . We're short staffed. They didn't even bother to call us before our appointment to tell us this. They just told us we're SOL. They also had not reimbursed from the last tires that were a wrong size (wrong size my fault). The manager came over and argued with us and told us we're late and that the 15 minute grace period didn't matter even though it says it on our confirmation email. They were upset at us... what. We will NEVER come to this Walmart again. Rude rude rude! They also had a lady in a wheelchair waiting for her car and she over heard us and said she had been waiting for hours. They even told us after they said they couldn't help us that they can't help us tomorrow. It wasn't until we got upset that they said MAYBE they can squeeze us in tomorrow at 8am. We are normally very understanding but this was the worst way to go about it. They told us 45 minutes not very happy about it. They just called us again and asked us which tires they need to change and we already told them it was the front tires. And now finished 2 1/2 hour later after we were told 45 minutes. We checked the installation and it actually looks good but the manager and the customer service was not. Ramon, the installer, was very helpful and amazing. If they had Ramin, Debbie, and Lauren working that department, it would not be a 1 star place. read more

Was at Walmart Auto this Monday morning at 8am. One car in front of me with a brake light issue. I wanted to get my tires checked and rotated. My tire pressure light is on along with a dashboard message that my tire(s) are losing pressure. So I ordered a tire rotation and also an oil change. They told me it would be 2.5 to 3 hrs (maybe longer!) But since I was already there, I figured I would do a bit of shopping while I waited for my car. It became obvious to me within 5 minutes that the 2 people waiting on me did not want me there. 1) They didn't have the proper air filter and stated they could not change my oil unless I buy a filter and bring it to them. That's new to me. 2) For the tires, they hemmed and hawed , even telling me maybe I should go somewhere else. I explained to him I was worried about driving on these tires of mine. I asked if they could check each tire, to see if one or more has a slow leak, as I've had this problem recently (tire pressure light going on/staying on, low tire). The service person said they would have to charge me for 4 flat tire repairs, which was not what I asked for. Finally, I realized they just didn't want to service my car. I calmly told them I did not feel an ounce of confidence with Walmart Automotive and drove away. Never again! Just no service to speak of. They should hang a closed sign outside their door if they don't want people's business. This was a NO STAR experience. read more

I have brought my car in 4 times now. Every time, I was told that there would be a 2 and a half hour wait. All four of those times, there were less than two cars ahead of me. It is obvious and apparent that they tell people this to get out of extra work. One time I even told them I was going to leave the car there anyways and come back in two hours and they decided to tell me it would actually take 3.5 hours instead. (After they had already told me 2.5 hours) Every time it has been a different employee telling me this, so it isn't just coincidence, this Walmart just has awful customer service in the auto department. read more

Took my vehicle in for an oil change to the Walmart Auto Center on Hw 69 in Prescott. They ended up draining my transmission fluid instead of the oil. I had to take my vehicle to a mechanic to have them basically fix what they messed up and pay for an oil change that I had already paid Walmart to do. Tried contacting someone several times and emailed Walmart Complaint Department with no response what so ever. Will never take my vehicle there again. read more
