My wife and I ordered two vanilla lattes, the chicken and waffles, and a sausage breakfast burrito. Everything was cooked perfectly and flavorful, absolutely zero notes. The coffee is fantastic, the breakfast was incredible, and the staff was friendly and efficient, keeping the service moving quickly even when they were busy. We ended up coming back the next two days as well. We loved it so much that we came back one evening to try their pizza, and it didn't disappoint either. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. Excellent food, great coffee, and wonderful service!

Ok coffee, decent folks, but overall really disappointing. Issues I saw:…read more The price! We had accumulated a few gift cards over time so we decided to use them to stop by. We bought 2 coffees (a 12 oz drip coffee with half and half and a 16 oz iced latte). We also got 2 bagel breakfast sandwiches. Our total was $39!!!!! Even my tiny drip coffee cost significantly more than a Starbucks equivalent! The Quality I truly hate to say it because I want local businesses to be successful, but everything was low quality. My drip coffee was lukewarm when I got it, my wife said she prefers iced coffee from del taco compared to the one she had here. But the really disappointing thing was the sandwiches. First, they came out heaped with lettuce (on a breakfast sandwich???) I've never seen that before, and we didn't ask for it. After we picked the lettuce off of the sandwiches they were very small (especially for the price!!) I managed to eat about 2 bites of mine before I couldn't stomach it anymore. It was just bad. The sausage patty tasted freezer burned and was extremely dry and the egg white was undercooked. I love an over easy egg, but this was not that. This egg was not cooked enough to be served. My wife made it about 1 bite further than I did, then she had to call it quits. All in all, we paid $40 to throw away our sandwiches and drink aggressively mediocre coffee. What really sucks is that I want to support local businesses! I would love to keep going to a small local shop. But when they rob us blind and serve food like that, I can't justify it.

Also yes. Is it the best damn pie, making those little cons not even cross our minds? Absolutely. The atmosphere and even waiting in line are somehow part of the fun. We've always ended up making friends with our fellow pie-line buddies, and then we're rewarded with what might just be the best pie of our lives. Very possible! 10/10 pie shop with the sweetest owners. And one of the things I love most is that they source their produce from local farmers. Locals supporting locals is getting harder and harder to find these days, and it's something we genuinely appreciate. We literally drive up from San Diego just to get pie. That's how good it is. 10/10. Would drive for pie again. And again. And again.

Yes there are lines, yes they run out quickly. Its a true gem of a "mom and pop" establishment. If you're expecting perfectly manicured, picturesque instaspace, "influencer" slop then go somewhere else. Addressing the more recent reviewers, if words hurt you that much, then dont patronize this place? If someone being rude ruffles your feathers, does it really warrant a review bomb? I digress, im doing the same but opposite? In short, I come for the dam tasty pies and love of the mountain. If you're really trying to nitpick the world then just stay home.
