Purchased an item that needed to be returned and was refunded because a replacement never showed. Somehow 5 months later Walmart recharged me for an item that I never received. They argued the fact which is pathetic to be that desperate for a $130. Of course I'll dispute it but it's Walmart and they will come out victors for a measley 130, and a huge chunk of my change. I was in this location back in July of last year using their bathroom while shopping when their loss prevention employee Gregory Duncan tried to force his way into my bathroom stall. He harassed me and when I tried to leave he grabbed at my arms and my backpack demanding I give back what I "stole" I had not taken anything, he then blocked the doorway (he's a tall individual about 6'7) he held me against my will, my phone's signal was weak and would not dial out to 911 however his phone connected and Duncan decided to say I was robbing customers at gunpoint so cvpd responded to active shooter scenario which put my life in danger. for the record, I did not have a firearm nor did police find any firearm. Duncan stated I attempted to stab him, cvpd took his word over mine I was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. I could not afford bail or an attorney, I spent months in county jail fighting the charges, they attempted to arraign me on robbery at preliminary where Duncan continued to lie under oath. I spent 5 months in jail. I lost my place to live, job opportunities, my car, i was almost shot and mauled by police k9, the expierence was horrible to say the least. I wanted to share this expierence because general public should be aware of the type of employees that work there so you may proceed with caution if you so decide to shop at this location. They had ne waiting in line for 2 hours and 10 minutes for an oil change, then finally they decided to acknowledge that I was a human being, only to tell me it will be 3 hours until they can help me because they only had two people working. The only thing that brightened my day was the Filipina lady in the cosmetic department named Josephine (08/07/2019). While other workers were being rude and chit-chatting complaining about their work so loud, Josephine was the smiling helpful one who provided good customer service to me. She greeted me as soon as I entered. She was helping other customers and stocking, and even when she was busy she still had time to answer my question "where's the cheapest mascara". She has impressive product knowledge and pointed me out to the wet and wild section and even showed me and made sure it had the glass seal before paying it at the main registers in front (She's thorough) . Walmart needs more workers like this Josephine who was helpful, focused, not chit-chatting too much on negativity. One Hispanic lady in the aisle over who was an employee kept on complaining about how her boss gave her this and that hour. It was very distracting and being loud about when people's lunches are. Very rude. It's distracting hearing employees complain about their work in front of customers. If they complain and are not happy they shouldn't work there or speak to management instead of making Walmart look bad. I could hear it in the next Aisle. Terrible customer service for her because it seemed like I was in the ghetto. THE ONLY ONE WHO WORKED WELL WAS JOSEPHINE. I made it a point to ask her name. I was so impressed with her discipline, focus, even on downtimes she was stocking products smiling at customers and making them feel like their questions were answered. Went to this Walmart to look around. I think this is one of the most busiest ones. It is your typical Walmart. This location has a lot to choose from. I was tempted to buy some stuff but we ended up just looking. There is a McDonald's within this Walmart. It is fairly clean. The toy section for girls was just a small section. Not a lot to choose from here. I would rather go to the super Walmart's that are larger. More selection in the larger Walmart's. This is definitely not my favorite Walmart. It's always super busy, and as a result, messier than most Walmarts. Customers seem very rude at this location, and I don't want to speculate why. I've never had a problem with the employees, though. For those interested in artery-clogging fast food, there is a McDonalds conveniently located within, near the entrance. I don't think I've ever seen a shopping center with a bigger parking lot! People who complain about the lack of parking must be delusional. Walmart shares the lot with Best Buy, and a few other lesser stores, but Best Buy certainly isn't a huge draw any more. Jenifer, I got one suggestion for you. Get someone else as store manager. For the store's own sanity. I went here to buy a couple things and remembered I wanted to buy some feeder fish for my Oscar's.....I asked the lady cleaning the fish tanks if i could get 4 goldfish, and she responds with "que"...so i pointed at the tank and asked again.....she looks at me and says "que" and walks away to find someone......she finally does and on the way back tells me, in spanish, that she has to clean the fish tanks by 8 and shes almost off and how her boss made her do it last minute.....so i waited around a lil longer, god forbid a customer interrupt an employee working. Complained about the increadably slow oil change service, but all we get is excuses. The hand held computer system used to enter your information and car info crashes a lot. So I tell james the assistant manager. He says his manager has ignored that department's requests for better equipment and more than 4 hour shifts for a long long time. I've been here a few times and once even the employee labeled it the "ghetto" Wal-Mart when describing why they didn't carry an item generally carried at all stores. It's where the old Mervyn's used to be. This place will always get business because of its location, but don't go out of your way to come here. You're not missing anything special. Nonetheless, it's likely to get the job done which is why I occasionally fool with it. My favorite location is in Eastlake. They're open 24 hours and have everything. Employee morale seems lows and I always see new faces. Although well, I haven't memorized any faces so maybe I'm lying lol. But they don't seem to care. They carry on inappropriate conversations while their stocking. You pass by and they don't care or ask if you need help. Gratefully, I usually don't. I don't buy granola bars here anymore because last time both boxes were completely stale. Yuck! I checked the expiration date and nope, good. No walmart blue an khaki, a full empty aisle but right in front of me. as i push on his shoulder indicating that i was searching the counters he look like he wants to fight me. -I've coming to this Wally since I was a pre-teen! For sure they have remodeled the store a lot and organized the store better. I always find what I need. -They have self checkout registers which makes it quick if you want to be in and out of the store quick. They still have tons of registers and depending on the day and time they might have a lot open. -A lot of parking. You will always find a spot here. The one thing I do hate is that you will find trash laying around the lot even though there are trash cans placed around. -Overall, this store is convenient. You can see it from the freeway. I had the best service last night at )Walmart (10 PM ). I went to get bike lights for my daughter so she could be in Ride the Lights. The lights were locked up so a I had to ask for help. The sweetest Walmart team member came to help me. She is probably the best employee Walmart has! She was so helpful. She even gave me some suggestions. She really loves her job. I mea, you can never go wrong with Walmart, most of the things that you are thinking of, they will have it here and there. I always go to this Walmart because they have the Eyebrow Waxing inside it and I have been their customer for quite a while now. Also, I like going to this Walmart back then to get movies from Red Box when it was still popular. And another thing I like about this Walmart Location is that it is near BestBuy, so after buying something from either stores, you can just go to the other store and check out what they got. This place is inhumane!!!!! I went to get some things I needed and decided to check out the bettas (my betta, Willy, died a couple weeks ago). The situation you find them is really sad. They have them in small cups, most of them with filthy water, feces & spoiled food in it; some the water has evaporated around 75%, so even less place to swim. But if you think the fish tanks are better.....YOU ARE WRONG!!! Dead fish, feces all over the bottom, you can see the tanks haven't been cleaned in weeks, if not months; the fish are eating the dead one, probably for lack of food, some look sick. Spices that should not be together are in the same tank!!!! If walmart can't do the maintenance the fish need, don't sell them, it is enough with the fish products; like I said they don't need to sell the fish!!! read more

SCAMMER ALERT DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE Walmart just scammed me into buying a "brand new" tv that wasn't even the same tv that was in the box. At first we bought the tv while also convincing us to by the warranty and it was cracked but after calling Walmart they told us we could return it to get a new one. Within 2 hours of purchasing, we packaged the tv back together and once we got to the line where they accept the return items we were informed that it wasn't the same tv that should be in the box. They "looked over" video footage of us buying the tv but apparently they said they're not liable since the tv was verified brand new. Rudely was told to come another day, mind you I'm in the military and do not have time for that. Either way, I called corporate like they told me and did not get a straight forward answer on what to do and was eventually advised to make a claim through the warranty we paid for. Get this, it doesn't even cover for cracks! The number we called for the warranty told us to call TCL directly. TCL was very helpful and even offered to speak to whoever they needed to at Walmart to verify that it wasn't their doing. Walmart corporate did not want to speak to TCL and said to take it up with the store even when I wrote to them on their "Contact Us." But mind you, Walmart said they didn't have any record on who we spoke to at their corporate phone number and are assumed it was the first time we called. After making an even newer report on the tv, they said wait a few days for a call back. Never received a call back, I just brought the tv back to Walmart demanding that I get my money back but their store manager "Victor" had me and my wife waiting their for 2-3 hours. I was attempting to get him on the phone with TCL but they conveniently closed by the time he was "helping" us. Victor then proceeded to take down our contact information and told us he would call us. 3 weeks later.. NO CALL! And in between those 3 weeks, I tried to call Walmart myself and they were either too busy or the workers would say "we'll get him" and hung up the phone on us 5-6 times that day, EVERY TIME. After trying to figure this out over a month, I called Walmart Corporate myself and I had all the reference numbers they needed and they told me that my claim didn't even make it to the store! Victor has called back after 4 weeks saying they'll make a final decision with the store manager whether I'll receive a refund. Walmart, this was supposed to be an easy purchase but thanks to you, we are down over $300 and with no tv! The tv is sitting in its box at my house, mocking us everyday that Walmart stole from us. Everyone at that store was pointing to us trying to scam Walmart, everyone at that store should be fired for this crap customer service. She then takes them to the front and comes back with a can and told me I can only get 5. I left it alone because at this point is was getting upset. I get to the front to check and and the lady at the register was being nice at first and I was making conversation with her like it's crazy how you ask her only allow five cans for people with WIC and she was like yes well we need to save the cans for people who actually need them like ma'am I'm not paying out of pocket I have WIC so obviously I need them I have a nine month old baby at home and then at that point she was just being really rude and disrespectful and like you should really make an exception for people with WIC it's not like we're out here selling them we have babies at home we need to feed and I was telling her like it's crazy on how other stores will give you that amount for WIC but here you can't when you guys are a top store. This Walmart is abhorrent. We got to the Tire and Lube "Express" at 3:12. No one checked us in or said anything at all. I haul 3 children inside to see if that is where they are checking people in now. They give me my quote at 3:25 and tell me to go back out to the kiosk and someone would be there to check me in. NO ONE DID. At 4:03 (after standing in there at the kiosk for 30 minutes) finally someone comes up and says they will check me in. At 4:16 they finally check me in and take my car. This review is for the tire and lube "express" There was one car infront of me and no cars in the shop. They took forever to finally ask me what I wanted. After that another 10 min for them to tell me my car is ready to go. There was a three cars behind me and the people where waiting outside their cars in the sun cuz they were taking forever. There was like 8 people working and they were just standing there doing nothing. Once I left my car they told me it was gonna take an hour to get my car. **This is a review for the vision center** While the store itself is usually chaotic, my experience inside the vision center was awesome and felt stress free, even during the pandemic. They were really great about sanitizing everything, I was seen by the doctor in good time, and everyone was very friendly! The guy who helped us (sorry I didn't catch his name) blew us away with great customer service and you can tell he genuinely likes his job and really wants to help his clients. He was knowledgeable, gave great recommendations, was very personable, and informed us about their 30 day guarantee. He was also very patient as I was indecisive about frames that I wanted which I really appreciated. It was also nice that you can still try on the frames and then you place the ones you don't want in a bin so they can sanitize them. We had a great experience and would recommend them! read more
