I was looking for moving blankets because I saw them online. After looking myself and not finding them I decided to go to pickup. There were two Walmart employees talking. One of which was Virginia. As soon as Virginia saw me she immediately stopped her conversation to assist me. She had an idea where they were located from helping a previous customer. Do NOT come to the Vision Center here. These guys are awful! I was seeing Doctor Clark for a few years and never had any issues. I changed my reservation to coordinate with a day Dr. Clark was in but he called in on that day and wasn't available which I understand. It happens. BUT the bigger issue is how these guys handle issues! So I ended up seeing another Doctor. I've had soooo many issues. I went to Costco to get my contacts and the Costco employee noticed the doctor changed the size of the contacts to a smaller size so we had to call Walmart and Dr. Clark (who I didn't see this time) changed it back to the regular size. The new prescription was too tight on my eyes and it actually hurts my eyes. I didn't think much of it until the Costco employee caught it! Now the contacts are fine. BUT I also got glasses at Costco. The new glasses gives me headaches. My head feels like it's spinning when I wear them. I went back to Costco and they said that the lenses are fine, that it's most likely a prescription issue. I went back to Walmart because they marketed a free 30 day follow-up. The 30 day follow-up is a complete scam! There are only select times (as in, the middle of the day) for those appointments because they're free. If I was them, I should get priority treatment because I have to make a trip back there because they messed up! Originally I got an appointment, but then was told since it's a follow-up appointment that they can't give me that time slot. What in the world?!!! Well, I'm never going back. So there's literally three people working here and none in which have the authority to override however my friend had to literally go and find an employee that has the ability to override! Come on people do your fucking job. If someone is calling for you not once but several times respond send a damn smoke signal, something! Walmart by the Ca 54 freeway on/off ramp has added an aisle of refrigerated items for drinks. I like to shop here because it's not as crowded compared to the one on Highland Ave and Eastlake. You can now send the barcode on your receipt and walmart will post the lowest price they can find to your account for the same item that you bought. Every town has a poor mall or store, where all they sell are Adidas and diapers. For all the "ghetto" rep this place gets due to the clientele, at least they sell more than those two items... and the staff all seemed very courteous. The practical issue is that this location is right next to the 54, so the southbay traffic in this part of town is always hideous. I recently needed a new tire for my automobile and decided to compare prices on the net from several local tire retailers.The two front runners ended up being Wal-Mart and Discount Tire. Wal-Mart's quoted price for a tire was only a mere $1 cheaper than Discount Tire's price.The cost for balancing and tire insurance was indentical but when it comes to mounting the tires, Discount Tire charges $15.99 for labor.With Wal-Mart, any tires that you purchase in the store comes with free mounting! In addition, Wal-Mart also charged less for the tire disposal fee. After I made my decision to go with Wal-Mart, I visted thier facility and was in and out in less than 20 minutes! The service I recieved was great and I ended up saving close to $20! Maybe not mega savings but in this economy every dollar adds up! I will definitely go here again to purchase new tires. read more

They close with no notification and the staff wouldn't know how to help someone if they were told step by step how to do it. The rest of the store's customer service is just as bad. Quick review as I only came her for ice cream . Parking lot was really full and I was lucky enough to find an upfront spot . They have. Solid selection of ice cream and frozen foods . The checkout was quick and painless and they seemed to have most of the registers open . The cashier was very welcoming and respectful. The only downside would be the foot traffic as it gets kind of annoying to dodge and work around people just to get to your desired section . Overall good Walmart if you need one . read more

This is about the National City location. I have had two experiences with this place, one not so great and one excellent. The first was an oil change which took more than 2 hours. That was ridiculous! As far as I know, however, they did a good job with the oil change. I was skeptical about coming to this place to have my headlights cleaned/restored (my car is almost 10 yrs old), because come on this is Walmart not a repair shop. But they did SUCH AN AWESOME JOB - it is as good as new!! Incredible!! I highly recommend it. I had tried to do it myself and failed. These guys were awesome and it took less than 30 min to take out all the yellow - not a speck of yellow left! The customer service (manager and repair techs) was great too. So all in all, the oil change will take longer than others, but I wholeheartedly recommend this place for headlight restoration. read more

This Walmart is chronically understaffed and overly populated. English as a second language is apparent by the majority of the associates. I have had several issues trying to find an associate that speaks English proficiently enough to answer the simplest of questions- provided an associate CAN be found to begin with. Rudeness runs rampant amongst their associates. There seems to be an epidemic of what seems like an apathy in general. The store feels dirty and crowded at all times. I went to this location, today, around 1:30p to purchase jeans for work (yes that's my dress code) and I'm working during this Coronaviris pandemic. As I'm shopping, I notice a female associate marking down jeans to clearance in the women's department so I asked her if her could check the price on a pair I was holding. This is the worst Walmart I have ever gone to. From the outside it doesn't look that bad. It's crazy busy and no one knows how to look when backing out of their parking space. (I seriously almost got hit three times.) But you walk inside and it's a whole different story. The floors are badly scuffed up, there is no A-C so it was hot (but they had fans going, I've never seen a Walmart with fans), the aisles were small and dark. No one spoke English. The workers just stared at me when I asked them where stuff was. Kids everywhere! Running around, grabbing stuff and screaming. I wanted to yell at the parents but it would be pointless because I wouldn't understand what they yelled back anyway. I can't believe it is that bad. But it is. And I will never go there again. Been going to this location for 20+ years, the inventory is okay, SOME staff is helpful, today we went in to buy a fish and there were MULTIPLE dead fish in the tanks, THAT IS ANIMAL CRUELTY. I'm not one to say all fish live matter but to see that no one cares enough! If you're going to seek them, take care of them... there are also fish mixed in tanks so they will bite and fight each other. Maybe English isn't the officiAl language of the United States, but it is required thAt all legal immigrants learn English. I once got into a discussion about this walmart's price signs. As I turned down an aisle and couldn't read a single sign, was told they were required by law to have Spanish language signs, which is not correct as the law would also require signs in the other 250 plus languages spoken in San Diego County. Came into Walmart the other day and the place was just dirty. When we came in there was soda all over the floor right outside of where the McDonalds is. We went to look at the bathing suits and had been there for about 20 minutes. There was a pregnant woman who walked in and slid right across the floor because the mess was still there.
