The best jeweler I have been to in quite sometime. I visited M&S after my grandmother passed this July. She left some jewelry to me & my sisters & my uncle felt it should belong to him. For this reason I visited M&S to see if; one, they could make a duplicate & two, if it would be cost effective. I met Nasir & asked him if he would clean the pieces for me. Nasir was so informative, inviting & entertaining that I knew this would not be my last visit. After he cleaned my jewelry we spoke in detail about it how replicating the jewelry would be cost effective for both of us. Seeing that the pieces were heavily detailed. Nasir was so accommodating I decided he would be my jeweler going forward. Fast forward to yesterday evening. I pulled up to M&S at the very last minute in need of a birthday gift for very dear friend & Mohamed was pulling down the gate to close. I told him in my kindest voice that rushed over to pick out a very important gift. Being the sweet older gentleman he is. He unlocked the doors & let me in. He pulled out 6 different trays of gold chains understanding that I was looking for the perfect one. I kept Mohamed there for 30mins after closing time tryna to decide between two beautiful gold chains. Mohamed gave his opinion when asked & I am so grateful I had the opportunity to work with him. Me & my friend agreed that it was the absolute perfect gift for his birthday. And I wouldn't have gotten 20.8 grams of 10kt Gold without Mohamed's amazing guidance. My initial experience with them was very pleasurable. I purchased a pair of diamond earrings with screw backing and a beautiful Amethyst ring. But when I lost one of the screw backings down the drain I went back to purchase another one. I was asked to leave them. When I went to pick them up the owners son had no idea what was going on. He told me that the cost was $25. I said for one backing. He said the cost was to convert to screw back. I told him I originally purchased them that way. I only needed one backing. He claims they replaced both backings even though I only needed one. I paid the $25 dollars because I need to get my earrings but I will never go there again. If I had known that I would be ripped off I would not have left them. I was very disappointed. read more

One thing i appreciate is customer service. He speaks to you with respect. I told him about the other places i went to have it repaired. His place had the best price. I was contacted on the day I was told it would be ready. When i got my bracelet back I didnt think it was the same one. He had cleaned it and it was BLINGING. I NEARLY lost it when the band broke! They also did something to the gold in the setting I can see, so now the gold is messy looking & not defined like before (IF it's EVEN the SAME ring)!. I have a pair of hollow, 14k gold hoop earrings and accidentally bent one of the hoops causing it to ultimately snap. I brought the earrings into M&S for repair, and though the owner said it might not be possible due to them being so thin, he'd give it his best shot. Top-notch service here as they explain everything. They did a fantastic job of re-sizing my rings, which are made of 18kt gold and have intricate decor on the outside, as well as engraving on the inside of it. I brought in a 10 year old ring that means a lot to me and it looked really worn out and discolored. I was worried that nothing could be done. First, I called about a week before visiting the store and the owner Mohammed said that they could help and was very kind. He even quoted me at a very reasonable price. Once I went to the store I met him and one of his sons. They were genuinely friendly and so welcoming! I asked them how long it would take and it turns out it was going to take a little longer than I thought, but that was my own fault for waiting until the last minute to bring it in! Then his son said he would have it for me when I needed it. I was so surprised and very happy! I dropped off my ring with no worries at all.
