I only went to this location when it was close to my house I had problems with there customer service several times I had a packaged delivered there they told me it was ready then took over 30 minutes to find it Also the topics that workers decide to talk about when customers are near are not appropriate for work let alone public conversations this location is smaller and more disorganized then the other supercenters in the fresno area read more

This is a complaint moreso on one specific employee at this store. The Customer Service Manager known as Annita. Came in today to get a reprint of a receipt that I had lost so I could reconcile the credit card statement of the business I work for. I had called the Walmart customer service to see if this was okay. Was told that it was, that I would need the card that I made the purchase with, date, and how much. Went to the store. Was told at the customer service station that they couldn't as the "higher ups" told them not to. Okay. Went back to work. Called customer service about an hour later. They told me that the store can reprint the receipt. They transferred me to the store. I talked with a manager on hand who said that there was in no way that they could get the receipt as they don't have records that far back locally, but would try, and give me a call back within an hour. Three hours later, I call customer service again who told me to go to the store and ask for the store manager, and not for someone in a yellow vest as they were the "lowest managers" on hand. Went to the store, asked for a store manager. Lady walks up (named Annita), says that they cannot reprint the receipt. Told her that I needed to reconcile by business' credit card statement, and that's why I needed the receipt. Told her I lost the one I had received at time of purchase. Then she told me because I had lost the receipt, that it wasn't their problem, and therefore didn't have to print me a receipt if they didn't want to. Acted like I was leaving, went through the customer service line again. Asked for the store manager. Annita walks up again, and says that she had already told me what was wrong, and that they cannot reprint receipts. Step away, called customer service while still in the store. Told them what just had happened. Customer service told me that they can reprint receipts if I had the information (date, card, purchase amount) on hand. Told me that the information can be pulled back from 13 months ago. Told me to ask for a co-manager. Before I could even go through the line again, Annita walks up. Told me that she would need my name and contact number, along with the purchase information, and she "might be able to" find the information today. If not, then the information wasn't there. Walked out to my car. Called customer service. Filed a complaint with them. Told them that out of the 4 times I went to the customer service at this Walmart, I was told 4 times that they couldn't reprint the receipt. Of those 4 times, Annita said no, and because I was at fault, they didn't have to reprint the receipt anyways. I had called customer service 4 times (including the complaint), and was told each time that the store CAN reprint the receipt as long as I had the required information on hand, which I did. read more

As Walmart's go this place is fine, except!!! My concern, safety. I did not feel safe in the parking lot, leaving my dog in the car with the windows open. Inside I went to buy a bicycle tube and they were locked up in a metal cage. When I asked the associate why, she told me people steal them all the time. Really - stealing $5.00 bicycle tire tubes. Also, while they were very helpful and polite in the Pharmacy, it took them more than 30 minutes to correct a refill that had been ordered online more than a week before. Like all Walmarts it is frequented by the usual cast of characters, but this store had an extraordinary group shopping in it (or stealing from it). I like the one on Shaw in Clovis much better. 10 minutes away but a much better vibe. read more

I know it's Walmart but oh, my god. People be warned at this Walmart particularly expect every line to have a customer that has almost every one of their cards declined and be short cash and you probably have one item and your stuck in front of a grown up having temper tantrum because they're next in line but they too are stuck behind that person who just had ALL their cards declined and is short on cash. Also, their already prepared food taste like cold expired tasteless garbage just in case you were curious. This Walmart has great customer service surprisingly even though most of customers they have at this particular one are an absolute total nightmare. It's a total shame because there's great businesses in the Blackstone area but due it's surroundings most of the customers their are absolutely tactless,dirty,obscene,and obnoxious. I do suggest if you shop in the Blackstone area cut the workers some slack half their customers are rude and trashy. read more

Came here for a pick up order. Got into the pick up order line and waited. Out of all the clerks helping at the counter for customer service, and clerks walking by not one said anything or acknowledged me just standing there. After waiting and becoming irritated, especially after all the people who walked into the customer service line were helped and left, I finally asked if there was someone to help me. Then they paged someone. Brooke was the guy who came over and said he didn't know someone was waiting and apologized. He at least made up for the bad customer service of the other clerks around. I'd say this is the smallest Walmart Supercenter in town. The aisles are so small that only one cart fits. Everything is bunched together. they really packed everything in there. Not to mention the parking lot is small and it wraps around the store but there's only one entrance so you have to walk around to the front no matter where you park . The Blackstone and Ashlan area always had some bums lingering around but this store really attracts more. I literally live one minute away but I Drive to Herndon and Ingram rather than visit this store because I just don't like it. It's a new store but for some reason it just looks old. It might have something to do with the exterior of the building its not newly painted since it was Mervyns. The people were nice the cashiers were friendly and it's just like any other Walmart except way more crowded. Walmart is already crowded in the first place so you wouldn't want to take your chances going to this super tiny Walmart. They should have just made it a neighborhood market. read more

While this is my most convenient Walmart (I live off First & Ashlan), it is by far the worst Walmart in the Fresno/Clovis area. The store is smaller than most others and therefore lacks some of the items or even departments you'd find at other locations. The parking lot is smaller and seems more hazardous than others. But the worst part is the rudeness of the workers. The woman who guards the entrance/exit is very rude, treating people like criminals instead of customers. Other staff members (register workers and their managers) make customers wait while they discuss their breaks and private conversations with each other on the store floor. I recently had an item to exchange and got in a long, slow line at the customer service desk. I finally gave up and left, deciding to do it at the Clovis Walmart, where I would be treated with respect by an efficient and professional staff. read more

Don't believe information this Walmart gives you they lie and don't know their product inventory. I called this location to get an inventory check and the clerk stated they had the item in stock. I don't live in Fresno and that was the reason why I called beforehand, so I wouldn't waste my time. I show up to this location and turns out they didn't have the item in stock and couldn't price match me to anything similar after they lied to me. Waste of time. If I could give this store a 0 I would. Today I experienced THE WORST customer service from THE WORST employees. I literally left the store in tears from the way they treated me and how frustrated I was.My boyfriend and I went in to return a $130 drone we bought 2 days ago because it was defective and didn't work. We had the original receipt, all the tags and stickers and the box was in perfect shape. Being a frequent shopper at this store I didnt think we would have any issues. We took it to the service desk and an employee named Elias was checking the box making sure it was good. Ok fine. Well there was a paper in there from the manufacturer saying don't return in store call this number. Well Elias called over 2 other employees and they were whispering back and forth for a few minutes. Then he very rudely threw everything back in the box and told us we can't return this blah blah blah you have to call the number on the paper and shoved the box towards us on the counter. Ok fine. So we left the store and called the manufacturer and they told us they aren't able to do refunds because they have no records of the purchase. Which makes total sense. So we would have to go to the store we purchased it from to get a refund. (My bf also recorded the call because of how the service desk employees were treating us already, he also included the phone number on my screen as well.) So then We call Walmart corporate to file a complaint against the rude employees and see if they could help us get our money back and they told us it was up to the manager on how to proceed but as long as I have the original stuff they would be able to do the return and give us our money back. So we head back into the store and Instead of speaking to Elias I immediately asked for him to grab me a manager. He leaves for a few minutes and brings back a guy named Michael and I try to explain to him what the corporate office and manufacturer told me but he instantly shut me down and gave me the worst attitude. He told me "I'm not going to do the return just off of what you say, you could have called anybody. the answer is no. I'm not going to f****** do it." And he laughed and walked away. He didn't even allow me to show him the proof so then I ask Elias to grab another manager and he then says "no I don't want to. You can leave." And I said no I would like to speak to another manager and he then Said "I don't give a f*** we can stand here all day I'm not calling anyone else." So at that point another service desk employee named Shelley comes over and I explain to her what was going on and I just want a manager to come help get me my money back so I can be on my way. She calls over a manager named Ashley and I explain to her the situation. Then some other little blonde white girl comes behind the service desk and yells "aww look at Elias THE BEST EMPLOYEE EVER!!! HE ALWAYS KNOWS WHAT HES TALKING ABOUT AND IS NEVER WRONG." to basically try and make us look stupid. Then Ashley tells me the same thing about not wanting to return it because the paper In the box said not to. After going back and forth she finally calls the manufacturer herself and asks them if she should do the return. They tell her to do the return, give me my money back, and the paper inside the box saying to call the number is only if someone tries to return it after the stores return policy date expires. So Ashley rolls her eyes and hangs up the phone,asks me if I have the debit card I paid with and I told her I did,so she starts scanning the receipt and the box making sure I knew she was annoyed and she was going to give me attitude. The refund goes through and she throws the receipt at me and says "K your all set". Never in my life have I ever been treated to so poorly at any store. Let alone cussed at by employees simply because I wasn't going to allow them to rip me off $140. I'm so disgusted with all of the people who were involved and I really hope they suffer some major reprocussions for how they treated us. Elias, Michael, Ashley and whoever the little snarky blonde girl was I hope they lose their jobs or at least learn how to treat people if theyre going to continue working in the customer service field. This was my go to Walmart even though it was further away from my house but after today I probably won't ever go there again. We have no "major problems with this particular location; only a lot of minor problems." I and my neighbor attended the store's grand opening, as we live very close to this location. Service and the variety was acceptable in 2015. But, by 2018, we have noticed a serious reduction in the particular items we like. It's if our receipts are used as the basis to "remove our items from the shelves." In most instances, we return to the store isles, and the particular brand or item out of all the items on the shelf is somehow missing. This is happening throughout the areas of the store we shop. So we know from experience, Wal-Mart sees us as a shrinking segment of the market they wish to serve. So, we now go to WinCo Foods more and more, since this location obviously isn't interested in meeting our needs. read more

Worst customer service ever. I don't have a problem with the customer service area, they've been good to me so far. But SOME of the other associates..... especially one of the lady at self checkout. She makes me dont even want to apply at walmart because if she's the kind of person walmart want to hire then sorry I dont fit in because I'm not rude enough! I see other family in there with more than 15 items but she chooses to come to us and tell us to go somewhere else cause our items are over 15. And when we point it out, she says I'll let you guys do it just this time. We have the same boxes of noodles & ask her to quantity it for us and she said she cant. Advertising kids clearance items at a certain price and scan at a higher price. I find a worker. She says that they are marked down from the original price, I know but It's not what is advertised. She said the items were put on the rack by someone. Well it wasn't just randomly two of the outfits that I am buying but all of the same merchandise. So I say I want to talk to the manager because that's false advertisement. Wait while she tries to contact GMJeff over walkie talkie it doesn't take long to tell me she has to go hunt him down somewhere in the store. Wtf is the walkie talkie for? Wait at least 10-15 minutes and she comes back to say he will honor the price. So I'm like how's it going to work at checkout. She said she'd tell the cashier I told her what line I'd be in. Nope she never did. This slow ass old cashier taking her time ringing up lol! Then when it gets to me 3 workers come up to cash her out. So luckily it was one happen to be a man in charge with the cash register in his hands. So I had to explain everything and he told the new checker to honor the price. His explanation was that each manager can make their own return policies from store to store, so the official Walmart return policy doesn't really matter. I got called from Walmart yesterday saying my photos was ready to be pick up so I go in today to pick it up. No one was there like at photos department like always So I waited and waited for someone to help me but he couldn't find my photos. It's like he wasn't even trying to find it. He even check on the computer but couldn't find my photos or record of my name then why I got a email and called from someone in the photo department saying my photos was ready to be pickup I did it before and I didn't have a problem. Then when I was trying to use the photo thing it was down and he took off again. I had to ask another worker but she couldn't help me but she try too. WORST Customer Service By Employee BROOKE.. Went in for a simple refund for a simple mistake (22 put in instead of 2). Called after getting home and finding the mistake. Called and was told they would check the Video for that register and need some info from my receipt which I gave them. Received a call and was told to come by with the receipt and they would be able to give me the refund. Went in the next day and it all went bad because of one Employee Named Brooke. It seemed he did not read the receipt correctly and acted like I was lying about the over charge, about calling the day before, about who I talked to and the info I was given. Keep saying " So they over charged you 20 and then over charged you another 20". At this point he did not even know how to read the receipt and was reading the CRV Charge as another item. Offered to show him my phone with the number of the store that had called my phone and got told that doesn't show him anything. After all of this i finally get a refund of $11.04 which is not even the right amount (Gatorades .59 each X 20 = $11.80 / CRV .10 x 20= $2.00 Total of $13.80). Will never go back and will never recommend this store to anyone and I work two blocks away. read more

This will be my very last trip to this WalMart. I'm not a fan of the chain, especially this location. No matter what time of day I've been here, there are a ridiculous amount of people. In the past, the checkers have been pleasant, and the staff in the bakery are friendly and helpful, but the majority of the rest of the staff, including the managers should be replaced. I'm used to dealing with customers who won't move from the aisle, but today there was an employee and a manager who were crowding my space, and they called over another employee. The only reason I would occasionally shop here was because it was near my home, but the rudeness I experienced this morning has shown a total lack of respect. Third rate store. Staff and Management don't know how to treat their customers. The item rang up at the wrong price, so the cashier tells me he cant change the price and that he has to get a manager. He then proceeds to help the people behind me in line. Doesn't even call the manager. So I tell him I'd like him to finish with me before he moves on to the next customer and he simply ignores me. I had to snatch his scanner away to get him to call the manager. Then the manager, Khong , proceeds to lecture me about how to behave. Horrible service!!! I bought a mattress 2 days ago opened it and it was very uncomfortable so i wanted to return. I went there they didn't take it back and reasoned that they don't have a policy on opened items. I took it to a different walmart and they took the return without any problems.
