Online grocery pick up at this store provides the absolute worst service for it's customers, I live in a 3rd story apartment with 2 babies and recently lost my vehicle, so Walmart offers a service that can accommodate my situation and help me, but when these delivery drivers show up, they don't knock, they make excuses of why they can't bring my groceries up to me and cancel the order that my family and I rely on to survive. This Wal Mart does not care about Covid 19. There's about 5 employees at the front of the store just laughing and having a blast as hordes of people come in. I assume they're supposed to be counting people but I have never seen that many people in a wal mart before, it looked like Black Friday in there. Ok. I get it. They are making improvements. There are super walmarts 5 miles in either direction north and south down Nellis. This store is entirely un-shop able during this process. Walmart should stop being so greedy, shut this location down, do the needed work and then re-open. Much less, they are jack-hammering at 4 am that shakes the neighboring community. Sadly, the nicer Walmart in my area closed and now I have to go to this one. I don't frequent Walmart very much and prefer Target due to the selection and customer service. Upon entering the store, a huge line was at customer service. This line was moving very slow, as they only had one employee helping. As we walked past customer service, an employee completely plows in to my left side and didn't even say excuse me or sorry!! Since we were planning a movie night, we head to the $5 movie selections. They have three large bins of bargain movies with great finds. We chose three movies and chose a charging cord for my phone. You have to pay for these items in electronics. Again, the line was long with only two registers. The gentleman that checked us out was matter of fact with minimal conversation. I know that they are currently asking for donations to end hunger and he didn't ask us if we wanted to donate and just answered no for us automatically in the register. I would have donated. The other aisles were not very clean and had items thrown everywhere. We looked at the frozen section for vegan options for lunch tomorrow and only found a few morning star farms. These were just vegetarian options and they only had three items :( This shopping adventure was a true reminder why I avoid Walmart. I was never asked once if I needed assistance and only saw the employee that almost ran me over and the ones at the registers. read more

I don't like this one much- it's too crowded- it's even worse in the parking lot; good luck finding a space. The lines inside are pretty long, even with many stations open. When I used to live in the area a long time ago, it wasn't as ghetto, but it's clearly there now. I visited this walmart location 201 N Nellis in Las Vegas NV the service i recieved was way awesome when Eric the Cashier offered to assist me out to my car insisting to carry all my bags and after loading them into my car he did not run off he wanted to make sure i got my wheelchair loaded safely and also that i made it in safely. Horrible customer service! Got in line and the woman ringing me up kept on with her conversation with her other coworker and didn't even acknowledge my presence. After ringing up my 2 items she continued to talk about personal matters and didn't even tell me my total. Thankfully I can read and count so I handed her my money and she basically shoved my change at me. Didn't even turn the bag wheel towards me. I had to grab it myself. My daughter, who is disabled, needed groceries Delivered in the Reno area. Against my better judgement, we used Walmart for grocery delivery. I had made note in the delivery comments that my daughter is disabled, so knock at the door, do not just leave the groceries at the door. I also put in her phone number for text messages to track her order, as they offered. On the day of delivery, no text messages came and the delivery person did not knock, just leaving the groceries at the door. When she checked the order, there were 4 items, none of which were the 27 items that were ordered. The Walmart web site doesn't give a phone number to call incase of delivery errors. After searching, and trying to reach the store, (no one answered), I found the help needed area which allows you to chat with someone. When someone finally called me they said the only thing they could do was offer a refund. Never again will I use Walmart for grocery delivery. I am disabled. I can only stand for short periods at a time. I had to wait for mobility scooter so I asked for a chair or somewhere to sit. Ended up standing so long I hurt for a week. I complained to Manager and she said that they where not allowed to have chairs per Governor. She said if I am disabled, I need to have someone with me to assist me. I should not be by myself. I don't need an assistant. WARNING -- If you are disabled I would not go to Walmart on Marks in Henderson, NV, obviously they don't care. This is the worst Walmart customer service I have ever experienced. On the app it showed an item with pnly 2 left. Since I live in Henderson I wanted to check to see if they were available. I called multiple times to the electronic department with no answer each time at that point was transferred to customer service automatically. After 5 mins of ringing it would just hang up on you. Not a one off occurence, everytime. So I took a chance and drove across town to the Nellis Walmart to get the phone. I walked back to electronics, no one there. I walked around looking and when I returned to the check out at electronics there were 2 girls joking around. As I approached them, one turned around and deserted her work mate to have to serve a customer. I asked if they had the phone I was looking for. She looked in the case where placard are hanging and said no, it would be right here. I told her the Walmart app says only 2 left in stock. She said, "The app is usually wrong." I asked if she could check in the back where they keep them for me. Her reply was,"I have customers waiting". What was I? Never will I set foot in this store again. I won't mention her name because I don't want to get her fired because I'm sure with her motivation she would never find another job, but at Walmart. I see the reviews now and they are mostly horrific for a large chain store. Not sure why nothing is being done about it. read more

My interaction was with the pharmacy. I have 101 temp and the flu and the doc gave me 2 scripts. I have never been to this pharmacy, but I figured... on my way home from doctor, right? After giving all my info and the scripts and having them run thru my insurance,I was told it would be 2 hour wait. The pharmacy tech was nice and asked if I wanted text or call. I told her I would wait. After 2 hours 30 minutes I approached the consultation window and asked when my script might be ready? The Pharmacist I spoke with (Christina) was all kinds of rude, telling me 'You're one of the little people on my list waiting. Every time I have to talk to someone it takes longer to fill perscriptions.' ( there were 2 pharmacists and I think 3 techs on duty) It's just the condescending way she interracted with me that surprised me. I said that I was told it would be 2 hours but it was getting closer to 3... and she just cut me off with a flippant remark. I asked her if there was an address where I could write a letter of complaint, and she said 'Try 1-800-Walmart'. Then she turned away from me - I guess our conversation was over? As I turned away she started saying stuff about me in a loud voice to her coworkers - belittling me. I did call the number - it was an 18 minute wait. So after being on hold for 10 minutes I went to service desk and manager gave me the number to their regional office 270-0818, someone is supposed to call me back but I was given no idea if it's today, 24-hours... 48 hours... someday.... What a total customer service fail! read more

First and foremost, Wal Mart is the place to be when there are those nights where you have nothing to do, and you are thinking of somewhere to go and something to snack on. The Wal Mart on this side of town though, is open 24 hours, but I dislike the whole parking lot situation! The lot is not at all organized, and there are not any stop signs where there needs to be! This is literally the closets retailer to my house so I'm in here probably once a week. I pretty much go there to buy a few necessities and a 12 pack of soda or what have you and pretty much every time I leave hating that place even more. First off, the parking lot is a total clusterf*ck. The front of that store is a damn near death trap. There's always a ton of people trying to cross the one lane in front of the store that's barely two cars wide. Then you always have cart collectors pushing carts everywhere and even if they have full time cart gatherers, there's always carts EVERYWHERE! I think this is the oldest and smallest Wal-Mart in Las Vegas and it pretty much shows. I think the population has since exploded from the time this place opened to now, and this store is not equipped for it. Plus this area is pretty ghetto and there's always a few bums standing in front of the store asking for change and there's always that one family with 5 kids that make going to Wal-Mart a field trip and clog up the already congested aisles. The selection here is pretty basic. They don't have a full grocery section so you're pretty much left with all packaged stuff like chips, sodas, breads, canned stuff and cereals. The electronics section is pretty basic also. The got a wall of tvs, a small case of 3 laptops they might be stocking, three or four cases for the games, one aisle of dvds, and they don't seem to have a designated blu-ray section. The only Blu-Rays are usually in a display stand outside of the electronic section. Clothing, men's clothing to be exact, is pretty bad. They pretty much have a few basics like khakis, polo shirts, and some athletic stuff but that's pretty much it. I remember I wanted to buy some wife beaters once and I went to the section and couldn't figure out whether or not they even carried them. I remember it looked like there was some Haynes display and they broke that down and just threw them on a shelf with no prices or anything. I usually try to go to the self-checkout when I'm there but those usually take as long as going to a regular line. It usually because people freakin' try to ring up 75 items at the damn self-check, and half the time people don't know how to use the damn machine. Customer service is non-existent, but it's Wal-Mart and you should expect that by now. If you want to go to a Wal-Mart, go to any one but this one. Really, the only people that go to this one are people that live near by it like myself. read more

Registers are always short staffed, seems every body there has an attitude except for the person who highlights your receipt when leaving and usually this person is older than the host of jeopardy. NOTE** This review is only for the Pharmacy. Been here to this pharmacy a couple of times because it's closer to my house when i needed it. I always get the same rude customer service with pharmacy technicians. One time i was here, my bf dropped his prescription for his eyes that needs to be taken non-stop daily. The pharmtechs told us to come back the next day after they call us. So we actually received 3 calls from them telling us to come back and pick the medicines up. So we came back the same day we received the calls only to find out that their pharmacy's computer system was down. And waited a good hour and it wasn't fixed still. We had to go because my bf has to work. We went back the next day to finally pick it up at exactly 9am (pharmacy opens) and they were still closed. There was a long line waiting for them and they opened 10min after. Guess what?! It wasn't ready yet!! And then their bitchy pharmtech girl was staring at us with a WTF look and said "well you gotta talk to the pharmacist, there's nothing we can do about it." Well she needs to figure it out. She is totally LACKING customer service. It was early in the morning and she was trying to ruin it. What if i had a heart problem and i need my medication right away?! Gah. This place is giving us too much hassle. DEF NOT GOING BACK HERE, and i don't recommend it to people too. read more

After today my family will never shop at Walmart again! Although our measly $1000 a month will probably not be missed by them I am sure that where ever we choose to shop it will be appreciated. My wife tried to exchange a car battery at the Stewart and Nellis store in Las Vegas, NV and was told by BOB one of the 6 or so CSM's on duty that WalMart's policy is that you can only exchange a car battery once. She then asked if the second one is bad and it has a 5 year warranty plus a sticker on it that said to return to WalMart where does she take it? He said 2 miles down the road maybe the WalMart that has a garage would do it. My wife asked, "what is the difference?" He said he didn't know but that was the policy at that store and she could look it up on walmart.com. So of course there is no battery policy or warranty information for them on the Corporate web site, he was making the policy up. Fine, my wife decided to try a different store the next day but had a few items to pick up and figured she would just get them there. When she got up to the register to check out the cashier said that she could not sell alcohol and had to call over someone to do it for her. Guess what? here comes BOB who asks for her ID (she is 50 yrs old) as well as our son's who is 27 yrs old. When she questioned him on why our son had to show his ID if he was not purchasing the alcohol, BOB replied.....it is the LAW that we ID everyone checking out with you when alcohol is purchased. So if she had our 9 yr old son with her instead he would have to produce ID too? WTF??? She said that she doubted that was really a law as she has taken the state required TAM education class. He then said, "MAYBE YOU SHOULD TAKE A REFRESHER!!" After my wife told me this I wanted to go to the store and beat his ass. But instead I did the right thing and called the store in the morning. I spoke with a Greg who said he was the Asst Store Manager. He assured me that if my wife came back that afternoon he would exchange the battery and took her name down. She then, returned to the store that evening to wait in line for 45 mins to be told none of the "CSM's" knew who "GREG" was and when they supposedly spoke to the manager's that were there, neither of them knew anything about the situation. Apparently employees are posing as Manager's when they are not and they also tell customers who ask to speak with a manager in person, "they are in a meeting." When we tried 4-5 times to call the store and ask for Will or Shey (supposedly the real store manager's) tonight to see if we could resolve this issue either no one answered the phone or we were put on hold for over 10 minutes with no manager ever picking up the call. Finally, we got through to someone who then told us that all the manager's have gone home. How convenient....... Walmart stores are closing here in Vegas and across the country so you would think that the ones that are still open would be run more efficiently, employ people that actually know how to do their job and customer service would be a top priority. But then again, what do you expect from people that can only get a job paying minimum wage? read more

Another bad experience at this Walmart. Cashier insinuated I was attempting to steal. Door security said I didnt pay for a $2 item after I just spent $140. I paid for this item AGAIN, even though it was on my original receipt. I just wanted to get out of the store. I had to get price checks on most of the items I went there to buy because none were marked. Shelves looked like they had brought stock from the back and just put it up to fill space not organising or pricing. No one greeted me. No one thanked me. The kids well their parents are too busy shopping and lose their kids a lot. You see them screaming alone a lot. The registers are lines long, ask for one to be opened and you get ignored.
