Today I went into Walmart to return and purchase stuff and I was greeted by a very rude employee at the cosmetics counter, she completely ignored us for 30 minutes and than when I decided to leave and go To the front she snapped at us and said she needed to ring up our items and so I told her yesterday the lady told me I didn't have to ring up here. So than showed and pointed at her badge and said that is my job in a very sarcastic manner. And she kept talking rudely to us so I finally threw my stuff on the counter and walked away!! I took rims in to have them mount and balance new tires I purchased at Walmart. One, I made an appt., but there was seemingly no record of it. Two, there were no less than 4 "technicians" milling around doing absolutely nothing. It took almost 2 hours to get my tires put on my rims. I asked if the tire pressure was correct, and they assured me that it was...Well, the correct tire pressure was 80, and I checked my tires when I mounted them, and they were 35 on one and 40 on three... Photo department is a joke. We ordered 2 20x30 posters for a celebration of life on Wednesday. Got an email stating they would be ready on Thursday after 6. We went to pick them up on Saturday at around 3:30. Too bad the machine broke and had been broken since the day we ordered them. No one bothered to call us. The guy who worked there told us there were other places we could go. Unfortunately we were on our way to the celebration of life at that time and couldn't go anywhere else. They never have supplies stocked...every time I come here for mascara they never have the one I use so I have to go to Target and get it there..also customer service really sucks..one time my husband and I needed help to get a futon and we asked an employee and he said he will get somebody for us well we waited for like 15 mins no1 came So we asked another lady again she said she was getting someone and no1 came so we just grabbed the rest of our stuff and went to go pay for it then we told the cashier about it so finally a guy came..I was so mad I didn't wanna buy the futon there anymore but I did anyways because we needed it asap. It's amazing to me how much the employees fail to go above and beyond. I call to see if there is a particular item in stock and NO ONE can help me. I had the women who answered transfer me to customer service because you know they're supposed to "service the customer" nope. Simply told me all they do is returns. Can you at least FIND someone to help me. Page someone to help me. Nothing. This is how you all lose business. This is actually a pretty good Wal-Mart. The store is clean, items are stocked well on the shelves, and it's pretty well-organized. They keep enough registers open up front, so there's never really a long line to pay. The workers here are also friendly. I'm used to Wal-Marts that are terribly over-crowded and the workers don't seem to care. read more

Cortney H. does a great job at this store. I only go here because of courtney. She is the most fun and exciting person I have ever met. I personally think santa Maria is the arm pit of the coast but this walmart has been in great hands since cortney has been working here. If you want low prices on all your shopping needs walmart is the place to be. If you want to get beat up by an old lady for taking the last item, walmart is the place to be. Went into walmart and was happy to find my vitamin water drinks in the little fridges and the price was marked 1.00. I was happy to see this price and brought every drink of my favorite color/flavor up to the register. The price the register was going to charge me was 1.18. I showed the checker the price marked in the fridge and she found a manager. The manager said its store policy to only allow me to get one of my drinks at the advertised price. I was buying 17 of the same drinks, I think they should have given me all of my drinks for the advertised price. Not sure exactly what ca law states but most places would have given the customer the advertised price for all the products they wanted. Poor walmart policy...poor customer service! read more

Me and my husband went to Walmart last weekend. We wanted to buy a sofa bed. We tried asking for assistance 4 times with 4 different employees. We waited 30 minutes and nobody ever came to help us. And the employees we did ask for help were not very polite they were almost bothered we were asking for help!!!! read more

Had to get a few things and this store has little to no selection of anything the produce was rotten, the water and soda isle had maybe 4 items on the whole isle! No flavored water, no Gatorade! The things I went in for they didn't have. I then went to pay for the few items they did have and then didn't put a item in my bag I got home and it's no where but I was charged for it so I called and they tell me they have to check the cameras, 15 mins later they tell me it was put in my bag! Only reviewing on my experience today. Online it said this store had 3 hue bulbs. I go to the store and they only have two and the attendant didn't even bother to check the inventory. They were secured behind a glass cabinet so I assumed they were brand new. One of the boxes had broken seals and looked like the bulb was just shoved back in the box. If I could give lower than a 1, I would. Customer service did not let us return without a receipt on a microwave that was bought in store at that location. He man asked the exact date it was purchased. Honesty who remembers stuff like that??? Either way they refused to take the return. That's never happened before if anything I thought we'd get the lowest price back or store credit. Just disappointed their lack of good faith (no one was trying to pull a scam on a $42.00 item) and willingness to help a loyal customer. I also went online to check on their non-receipts policy it said nothing about needing to know the exact date of purchase. All you need is a valid ID... I was in this store last week and bought a car battery. All good. I took a peek at the tires and the associate let me know that I could also buy and make an appointment for installation on the phone. So, yesterday at 5:34 pm., I tried to call the tire center... 3 times. No answer. I called the front desk... 3 times. Finally, someone answered and I requested that she connect me with the Auto Center because no one was answering. No answer. The phone kept ringing and ringing, and even the front desk did not look at their flashing light on the phone and pick back up. I finally called again. Someone answered the phone and I asked for the store manager and she said that she could connect me with an assistant manager and to please hold. Surprise!!
