Garbage Customer Service. I wanted to price match an item and the cashier didn't know what to do or how to check if she could price match it. This Walmart location is convenient and our experiences here have been smooth and easy. Employee Lanetta is awesome. She always helps us find items and sort out orders. She has a lot of positive energy and makes my family feel comfortable whenever we need to buy stuff from this Walmart location. I will never go to Fullerton Wal-Mart again. It's not safe with all the weird people that they allow to walk around the store to beg for money and items... I was accosted by a guy asking me to buy him a watch i walked away fast and I could not find security or a manager when needed. I did find a women filling the shelves I told her.. she told me that she would call security 20 mins later after feeling uneasy and a different part of the store I seen him again trying to get money out of other customers. So I ran to check out fast. At that moment I did find a manger and told him as the guy was walking and watching I left the store and left items. this is where the manger of the store is lousy as she allows her staff to give no custom service whatsoever. This Walmart is located in Anaheim and it is next to the Sonic. This place dispenses toilet paper packages in the same way that milk is dispensed at a supermarket: from a warehouse in the back of the merchandise. It's neat. There were plenty of clearance toys in the single clearance aisle. We decided to buy some since they were marked down really low. They have both self-checkouts and human cashiers. I have never ever had reasonable, comprehensible, or intellectual anything from these folks with regards to Customer Service. Wow... some real real intellectual titans. It would seem that the staff has a sum IQ of about 25. I came here last to return a workout compression shirt and they ask me if I've used it with the tags attached in the armpit lol... what a bunch of phewls... Really how can you use a compression shirt with the tags still on it and the tags are literally in the middle of where the pit sweat would be? *SMH* I have never had great CS here though period. I have made several trips as its convenient to where I gas up at Costco and I randomly want to come check out what kinda stuff they have and if it's a good price or not. They do have some products that I am interested in for various applications so I have stopped in here. But when you ask a question, most of the time you get weird looks incomprehension or other odd behavior. Few seem to grasp what you are seeking or asking about. I just wish that these folks would pay more attention or be able to understand some basic realities. It's like the kids who asked the dumb questions in class are now running the show here. Unfortunately, they never realized when some of the stuff that they brought up was innocuous or irrational and thus are still back at that same starting point. For a Wally World, this place ain't half bad. It's 24 hours, though I've never had to avail myself of their witching-hour timed services, thank goodness. Maybe that's the reason I've seen nary an asscrack or pajama clad moron! The parking lot is always full, but I need the exercise anyway, so I park far and hoof it in. The one thing that pisses me off though are the constant solicitors that there's NO escape from. "Spare some change? No? God bless you then." Yeah, and God bless you too, buddy, for trying to make me feel guilty as f**k. Anyhow, the grocery section is considerable, and if you wanted to get lost for hours stocking up for the zombie apocalypse, this'd be the place to do it I guess. The pet section is ok, but the prices are akin to most pet stores, but with suckier selection. Walked into this slightly compact Walmart which is also a grocery store. There were items in the garden section which did not have prices marked not one but a whole mini aisle. However I went looking for a Yard light and found one which comes on at dusk and stays on till dawn, This fixture cost me $12. The one thing I liked was a adjustable switch where you can adjust at what amount of light the unit will turn on and off. The other ones were $50 but they used Halogen bulbs which would consume more watts then I would prefer. In this yard light I would just put 2x 8 watt bulbs. The yearly cost would come out to be $2. I also picked up two tube lights which needed replacement the cost which used to be $1 a tube is now $6 for two. I wanted to see some LED bulbs but there were none on this location. They did have a whole aisle dedicated to incandescent ones. The checkout was quick. read more

Maybe it was because I came here early on a Monday morning, but this store was not as horrible as most WalMarts I have seen. It was relatively clean and there were no lines at the check out. I have to say though, WalMart has weird clothing selections. We were looking for something for our boys. This store had almost no boys clothing. Very odd. This is a typical Wal-Mart so why review it? It has key differences from the Wal-Marts I've visited in the past. Here are key points: 1) They don't rearrange everything in this place. The main point in Wal-Marts I've been to are I can't seem to find anything and no one seems to know where anything is. Not here. 2) No spooky people in the parking lots. Before you accuse me of being, well, candid about certain demographics, let me be clear. Spooky people in parking lots (esp. at night) means people will be weary and fearful of shopping there. A new grocery store? Woo! It's located in the same shopping center where Anaheim Sonic Drive-In and Music Revolution are. It's all shiny clean and has that new store smell... For anyone who has lived or traveled anywhere other than Southern California and has visited a true Walmart Super Center before: This location is a Walmart+pharmacy+full grocery store only. The fact that it is what it is is not a total let down for me because at least Walmart groceries are consistently priced cheap, but if you're looking for that full "super center" experience, it still cannot be found in So Cal. For those of you who don't know the difference, a Walmart Super Center consists of these components: Walmart Department Store Full Grocery Store Fast Food like McDonald's or Subway Pharmacy Vision Center Photo Center Tire & Lube Center Garden Center ... and sometimes a gas station. And their volume buying power means lower prices for you. Now do you see why all of the other big box retailers already established in California shake in their boots every time one of these stores opens? Price and convenience are kings to the everyday consumer. The grocery store, as far as the meat, fruits and veggies, processed foods and cold cases, were well stocked. The deli and bakery seemed to be the last departments coming on line. Still, I found a host of things to buy. I tried to buy my son some ProGlide razor refills, but they were totally out of stock. I normally don't do Wal-mart. I have always been a Target kind of girl. Wal-mart is typically a miserable experience. The parking is always bad. The place is always dirty. Aisles are clogged with unsupervised children and random debris. The prices just aren't cheap enough for this kind of drama. However, I found this locale to be a little better than the rest. First, it is open 24 hours. I can avoid bad parking and wild brats by shopping late at night. The parking is a little too small but nothing unbearable. Second, it is generally clean. I used the restroom and felt comfortable enough to sit rather than squat. THIS IS A BIG DEAL!! The aisles are wide and well kept. Maybe this is because the store is new and eventually it will fall apart like the rest. The primary reason I had to give it three stars is because the customer service was so poor. I waited in the electronics section for several minutes while the employees exchanged life stories. Then I waited at the register for the single cashier working. RANT FOR TODAY: Is there some correlation between Walmart and Wednesdays that I am missing. Are the gates of ignorance flung wide open on that day? The only nice person in my shopping day was the door greeter. Bless her heart, I bet she can tell some stories. As soon as people hit the front door, its cell phones on, brains off, now wander aimlessly and get in the way. I can't count how many times I got dirty looks when I yielded my shopping cart with an polite excuse me. I was cut off more times than I can remember and no one said excuse me. I even had two women cut right in front of me. I said excuse me, and so did one of the women, but I heard the other woman say to her shopping partner "Why did you have to say excuse me?" Attention Walmart shoppers, all rudeness is Bob West's fault! Then the single mom, fresh from a puff off her meth pipe, was hauling her loud 4 year old child (whom had a uni-brow and probably shaved his beard at birth) all the while she cussed at him through the store. And a lady from the hit discovery channel show "My 600lb Life" was rolling through on one of Walmart's motorized carts talking at the top of her lungs with orders for her wimpy husband to grab various pastries off the shelf for her. I heard her back up all over the store.....eee...eeee..eeee...eeee. She no doubt missed the cookies and other items. She also had her mouth full of food! Where the hell did she find free food? And I can't forget the overall wearing toothless guy with the huge ass who parked his cart sideways in the aisle and looked like he would like to kill me as I squeezed by his ignorant self. On our Disneyland trip we stayed at a hotel not too far from this location. We didn't pack shampoos or toothpaste and figured it would be easier to buy them when we get there. This location isn't too bad, we were here during the weekdays so it was pretty clean. The store is set up differently compared to my local one at home, so it was a struggle to find things, and I didn't see as many workers going around as I did at my store. The food area was the same, has a bakery, deli, produce, frozen section and snack sections. One of the things that caught my eye upon arriving they have a small Disney section in the front. Shirts and knick knacks, I figured if you don't wanna buy expensive souvenirs for your friends at the park you can get them here lol. Much more affordable, I didn't buy anything this time around but I did keep it in mind. I went across to Target (directly across the street) and surprisingly they didn't have a Disney section, at least I didn't see anything. read more

Employee's at Electronics do not want to help customers. I came here on Sunday 01/12/14 around 3pm to look for a CD and did not find it. I asked a young Hispanic employee that was in electronics for some help, but it seemed like the football game on the display televisions was more important. I asked him to check if the CD showed in stock and he said there was no way to check on the computer to see if they have anything in stock. He then told me to return on Tuesday when the vendor comes to stock CD's. I told him I was there about two weeks ago, and a much nicer employee was able to check on their system and see if they had any. In fact, the other employee (also a young white kid) was also able to tell me what nearby Walmarts carried the CD. This hispanic guy denied there was a way to check, and then continued to watch the football game. I will never return to this Walmart ever again. They continue to hire unproffesional people who do not care to help customers. I ended up going to a different Walmart and found the item I was looking for. read more

According to Daryl (some kind of front end mgr) and i quote "WALMART is no longer LEGALLY required to check ID's for credit cards" I made a $5.60 purchase, used my debit card, and automatically went through as credit. When i asked the cashier why it didn't ask for my pin, her response "i dont know you're the 30th customer today to ask" As im walking out i stop at the customer service desk to ask for a mgr (perhaps id get a more professional, adequate answer) instead i got Daryl. His first response when i asked why it didnt ask for my pin when i selcted debit he says as he huffs "youre the 101 customer today to ask that same question" Speaks as tho hes in a hurry somewhere. Cutting you off before you finish your sentence and runs into the back office. what is the point of a manager if he does not make himself available to customers? CUSTOMER SERVICE at least from a manager. AT LEAST! He told me its not walmart and to call my bank as to why it doesnt ask for a pin for transactions under $50. I called my bank and they said my debit wasn't used it was only credit. So maybe its probably visa and not walmart or my bank, but since their system is forwarding my debit to credit that puts MY card at risk for identity theft since the cashier didnt check my id. i told this to Daryl and his response is "well Walmart is no longer LEGALLY required to check id" Maybe he thought his quick response would make me walk away, but Daryl should be retrained, reinformed or start as a cart pusher if he is to speak on behalf of walmart with incorrect information. read more

If I could count the times ive had awful costumer service at this place I would be out of fingers....but this last visit was the one that made me doubt shopping here again, I dropped off a roll of film to be developed at the Photo Center I was informed it would take a week because they dont develop them in store anymore..... I came back a week later and still wasnt done.( never got a call to update if it was in) again I called 4 days later and they told me it wasnt ready. Weeks went by and since no one ever picked up when I called for an update I decided to walk in the store....I spoke to the girl behind the counter and she said that she wasnt able to track it but to call back and ask for the manager....the manager then called and told me it wouldnt be ready until 11/14 THIS WAS LITERALLY 4 WEEKS AFTER I DROPPED OFF MY FILM! I received my roll back on 11/16 with a note saying it was blank. Dont ever bring your film here to be developed.....! you will never get a steady answer or call back from these people! read more

This location has been declining rapidly in service. Let's start with the parking lot. . The lot is big, but not the problem here. There are so many Hispanics not paying attention in the crosswalk, either walking too slow or can't tell there's a car on their ass and no one will move! Sadly, I underestimated this place. Not sure why, don't ask. Maybe because it's just Walmart. Not that I have a problem with Walmart, but most locations I've been to have been whatever's to me. Now this location? Best Walmart I've ever been to. Just something about it made me so happy to shop there yesterday when I paid my first visit there. I felt they sold a great variety of things that other Walmarts don't carry, but that's just me. Everything was so organized and easy to look for and go to. The employees were very nice people as well. Saw a better crowd of customers here yesterday as opposed to the Walmart at Anaheim Plaza and the Buena Park Mall. Parking is sure as hell not a problem at all, at least when I went yesterday around 11:30AM. I'll definitely go to this Walmart from now on. I was in this store because it was the closest place to get a one time prescription from urgent care filled. The tech at the pharmacy was really cool, realized, based on looking me and what I was getting, that I really wasn't feeling well and said it should only take about 10 minutes. I walked around the department, since I had sociology homework to do and was able to complete it quickly as I found the Men's and Women's Dial body wash. I took pics of the fronts and backs of bottles and made notes I would need to complete the project at home. I came in at 1045 pm tonight, the store hours say they are open until midnight to exchange come liquid eggs I got the night before. I asked the guy stocking the shelves if they were egg whites and he said they were. When I looked into it after getting home, come to find out they aren't. Not only are the two females at you money center which I guess it connected to the returns are the two mosy unhelpful females I have ever. I understand that your drawers are put away, couldn't you even exchange or give me store credit, like I was asking for. No. Then when I walked out and there are two male managers talking when I ask about there money center being connected to the returns. They said yeah.
