This location on the south side is almost like a campground. During the summer months this place is like a hotspot for tourists to line up in their campers and RVs in the back of the parking lot. I'm pretty sure at least some of them sleep here and not just load up on groceries but I could be wrong. Walking through the parking lot is actually the loudest I've ever heard the security stations. They blast really lively music pretty loudly. It was almost like soft carnival music and no lyrics. Not bad at all in walking to and from your car but I can see how this would deter homeless people or thefts. It's loud enough that a lot of people in the parking lot were paying attention to the speaker playing. The return process was fine. It was easiest to return items I bought online and just scan the barcode in the Walmart app. I did have one return that my husband bought one hid card on the same account but since it wasn't the same the customer service couldn't pull up a receipt for the return. Basically this just meant that it got returned as a store credit instead of to my bank account. Totally fine. She did need my id to make the return and I think you only get so many returns without a receipt in a certain time frame. The store insight was incredibly bright and colorful and the guy at the entry was super friendly coming and going.

We thought it was neat that they have an ice skating rink right in the middle, and the food court is conveniently located next to it. I absolutely loved the painted moose featured in the pictures. Overall, we highly recommend stopping by if you need to replace something you left behind or if you're looking for a unique gift. Even if you're just passing through, it's a fun place to spend a couple of hours. There is also plenty of parking!

But there are other things that make it unique. It has a ice rink, gym with a pool, movie theater, food at either end (although limited) a Dave and Busters (which i hate, but some people love, sooo.... ) and a variety of stores for all people. But its definitely lacking. For starters, no big box store like Macy's or Nordstroms. So if you're doing major shopping... eh, plan ahead. But I love that they host native craft shows here, which ARE AMAZING. so its a toss up.

It was made through the app and I could edit it in the app until the purchase was actually made. I received an email with a link but it doesn't take my to my receipt. Customer service helped me with my request and said they would send a pdf copy of my receipt. They never did this. Instead I'm now getting an email from someone saying I owe the store more money. They acknowledge I was charged $74.73, they won't tell me how much more I owe, and they're asking permission to charge me more. Even my email with my receipt says the final amount was $74.73.

Unfortunately malls are dying out and mall operators don't seem focused on pivoting to keep these public spaces open and going. We did get a few things and shop around but we really expected more for a downtown mall. This needs once over by the developer and the City should be more concerned with its success.

Mall security is amped up. I saw a security guard doing a power walk towards a maybe homeless person inside. There's tons of stores inside and a nice variety. It's not the same as down south but still good with many quality places to shop from. The bathrooms definitely need more attention though. If you can avoid them, avoid them.

I went to the membership desk and zero issue, zero line, they printed me off a temporary pass so I wouldn't have to drive back home for my physical card. I didn't even know they did this. Everyone working was actually nice. Smiles. It was cool. The layout did confuse me but that'll happen when you're used to your store. I was ready to pickup a printer but couldn't find them so that's a task for another day. THE SAMPLES! wow! Either this time and day was perfect for samples or they are on every corner at this location! The sample sizes were also HUGE! Really I think this location has more product selections than the Debarr location. It also wasn't a hectic parking lot aside from looking at the people in line for gas (not me!) I think if it were more convenient I might actually prefer this location.

A sign at the cheese kiosk advertised 20% off Murray's Cambozola Black Label if you have a Fred…read moreMeyer loyalty card, which I do have. The unit price on the label/sticker was $24.99/lb. That's the price if you don't have the loyalty card and, thus, don't get the discount. The sticker then went on to show the "price with card," i.e., the discounted price, i.e. the 20% off price. And that unit price showed as $20.69/lb. That's a discount, yes, but it's not a 20% discount. To simplify, let's say the un-discounted unit price was $25/lb (a penny more than the actual un-discounted price). What's 20% of $25? Five dollars. So the discounted price with loyalty card should have been $20/lb. Another sign at the kiosk advertised 20% off Murray's Aged Manchego. Same problem: Fred's system didn't calculate the 20% correctly. The un-discounted unit price was $26.99/lb., but the same sticker showed the price with card to be $23.59/lb. Twenty percent off $26.99 is $21.59, not $23.59. So, I was being charged $2 more per pound than the advertised price on the sign right there at the kiosk. The nice young woman at the cheese kiosk seemed to understand what I explained to her in person, but she said she couldn't change the pricing; all the cheese sales staff does is weigh the portions and their system spits out a label. So I spoke in person to the man at the customer service counter, who also told me he couldn't change the pricing system and he didn't think anyone else in the store could, either. He noted that the PLU number on the sign didn't match the PLU on the sticker affixed to the hunk of cheese. I phoned and spoke with a grocery manager who did not listen, tried to say I misunderstood, then hung up on me. Then I phoned the 800 number and, once I got past the automated answering system and spoke to a person, she listened, seemed to understand, and said she'd pursue it. Bottom line for you, other Freddie's patrons, is: Check the math on the advertised discount. Make sure that the discount shown on the label agrees with the advertised discount.
