Our first trip to this location in quite a while. Like many other stores these days, there were definitely changes with Covid: Less people, Less Merchandise, and everyone in masks ( definitely a good thing!). The most frustrating thing that happened, was when we purchased some socks for my husband. I couldn't believe my eyes that all the socks were locked up in cabinets. There was a large button there to "Call for Assistance ". We pushed the button, and nobody came. I finally saw an employee near the Fitting Room, and I asked her to help. Wow! I don't know how this place even has 2 stars. I never shop at Walmart because the times I have been my experience hasn't been pleasant. I placed an order for cake and cupcakes because it was recommended to me. The guy that took the order was nice very professional. But when I went to pick up my order I waited for over 30 minutes for someone to help. I asked the lady that was at the deli if I could get help she said she didn't work bakery even tho is right next to it. I asked someone in produce if they could call someone because they all see you but don't ask if you need help they all just don't want to be bothered with. Then I ask this guy at the meat department and he said he didn't have a radio or worked in deli. So then since my cake and cupcakes where paid for I decided to go inside bakery go in their fridge and look for my own cupcakes and cake and just help myself since it was to much to ask for someone that is getting paid there to service me and thanks to us that shop there they continue to have a job. I myself work in customer service and I will be dam if I treat people that way. If you can't work with people then look for a warehouse job where you won't be ask to service someone. I spoke to the manager there before leaving. But it's Walmart I don't expect for much to get done because if they actually addressed these issues this type of behavior wouldn't happen and we are paying customers we deserve better treatment. I don't know how these employees expect to get paid top dollar but give low quality performance. I guess that's why they work at Walmart because they have no morals, respect or common curtesy. Zero stars for this stores customer service. I went in to complete a return that I started online. I purchased an inflatable mattress on Walmarts website & was directed to return the item to the store. I took the item in within the return policy, neatly folded & packaged in the bag it was shipped. The Front End Coach Josh refused my return because "it was online." I showed him the website & my order information which states clearly to return the item to the store & he said he has the right to refuse anything because it was online. While I spoke to an agent at 800Walmart, the cashier refused another customers return. That customer had a receipt, her item was also neatly packaged & told the cashier she was returning the item because there was a stain. The cashier told her she'd have to drive to the store she bought it at and return there. Clearly the employees are going against company policy & making up their own rules. Ordered curbside, parked, and the one employee working curbside was overwhelmed so I decided to just call the number that says to call for pickup. The customer service rep (that had no customer service skill) couldn't find the order with name and phone number, and couldn't care to offer a solution until I said I have the order number. After giving her the order number this is how the conversation went: "I could find it with the order number" "Okay...so...should I come in the store?" "Yes" "So...should I just go to the customer service line?" "Yes" "Okay I'll come in then" Hangs up. Two issues with this situation. First, I ordered curbside pickup and followed the exact instruction provided by Walmart, so why do I have to go in store? There's a reason people order curbside so they don't have to go in store. I gave you the order number and you could find it, so shouldn't you bring out the item as per promised by the implications of "curbside order"? Second, how are you going to just hang up on a customer. No ending statement, no further instructions. I had to pry the instructions out of you to find out what I should be doing. Currently you can't place orders for two tier cakes online, so I had to place it in store. There's also a promotion for first birthday cakes, you can get a free matching smash cake with any order over $15! The cake itself didn't resemble the photo exactly and there were spots that could have been smoothed out more. I didn't have huge expectations for the cake, but their customer service was pretty good and they were able to find a discontinued cake topper that went with my son's birthday theme. The review is 3.5 stars rounded up. Would I recommend a custom cake? For a kids birthday party, yes. For a wedding, no. I love this Walmart. It is the closest supercenter nearby my house. The parking area is spacious. The inside is spacious as well, very comfortable in bringing stroller and to make large purchases. There are self checkout counters in both sides (right and left). They have Nails place as well and a Subway restaurant. There are things that are available here, and not in any other Walmart. For example different varieties of bugs' traps and Catch masters brand. Groceries are fresh with plenty selection They even have Oxtails too!! They offer hot foods such as chicken wings. I went to customer service to return 2 items. The gal at was rude and unprofessional. I scan all my receipts they the Walmart app to avoid saving them. I did my returns online. 1 item I received a text message with confirmation, the other item I did not. She had me go through my entire online receipts to locate it while she was standing there staring at the long line. I finally found it in my list in May 2023. She could've offered to scan the barcode, gave me a gift card or something. I had to do her job and tell her what options I have. There was an associate in the next aisle so I asked him for some help. He told ME to wait because of what he was doing was being "timed" so he couldn't help me till he was done. The associate over there told me it was on the aisle the app said. I said no it's not there, the guy there said to come here. I come to this location about twice a week :) This location is big and one of the better Walmart's I have visited. I don't live in this area but I do make the commute here only because it's always fully stocked with merchandise and always kept up. ***First Time Review for Curbside Pickup I was just at Walmart Baldwin Park. I followed all the signs for curbside pick up (left side of the building by the loading bays). I stopped a young man that was ushering shopping carts and asked him where to go. He told me that for grocery items, i need to park & come in the store to pickup my items. So I parked & went inside to pickup items.... so much for curbside. It took me 30mins to pickup my order of 3 items, plus another 15 mins because I had a question on the other 2 items that were not in my order. So apparently, you can view your order before pickup and it showed that the 2 items were indeed out of stock. Still don't understand the whole curbside pickup procedures. I can see the convenience of having someone pick out your grocery items for you, so you're not in the store longer than need be, but for 3 items at 30-40 mins... i could have got them and gone through self checkout and be on my way. Oh and heads up, remember how i parked on the leftmost side. Entrance is the doors on the left. Exit are the doors on the right. I had to walk the length of the building to exit and the length of the building again to get to my car. Park in between these doors & you'll be alright. Posting for the peeps who have issues walking or getting around. Grateful I can manage the extra steps, but my bad knees didn't like me too much. Park accordingly. read more

I can also shop online and have them send the items to this store for pick-up, site to store shopping is free, you have to wait a few days though. Restrooms are clean.
