Echo the complaints on this store. I had an online pickup. Nobody at that desk. Had to wait 30+ minutes in customer service line. Only one person working at customer service station on a busy Saturday. Saw several customers just walk away. The lower price just isn't worth the time and frustration. I was needing some business software and found it online at Walmart.com for $177 instead of $220+ at other stores. It had the option to purchase online (shipping or store delivery) and also showed that it was available in the Carmel store. I went in and, on the shelf, it was $210. I figured it wasn't a problem as they are ALWAYS badgering you about their price matching so I take it up to the checkout and show them the online price. A manager comes up and tells me "We don't match our online prices." Ummmmm..... WHAT?!?! So they will match the price of another store but not the online version of their own store? While I recognize that the brick and mortar and online stores likely function separately, that is not really my problem as a consumer. This is awful customer service and just another thing in a long list of while I almost never shop at Wal-Mart. Additionally, this is obviously a policy set at a higher level and not the handiwork of the cashier or manager, but neither one apologized for the inconvenience or said I'm sorry. So, in the end I could have bought it for $200 but I left it and will buy it for $200 from someplace else. I won't step foot in a walmart if I can avoid it. read more

I generally like this place because it's open at all hours, and the staff is usually friendly. You get the occasional rude remark, however those are few and far between. The place is usually clean, with a few sticky spots on the floor here and there when somebody hasn't done his job propperly. Most of the product is intact and sellable, and i haven't found anything expired on their shelves at ALL. The only major gripe i have about this place is the fact that they sometimes don't have the product I want, and I have to go elsewhere. read more

This store is very understaffed. I feel badly for the people that do work there as they are very nice and work hard to cover up the shortage. However it really shows in the long lines at the customer service desk especially. The checkout lines are long as well. And most of the time I have been there they need more stockers as well. Also, beware when purchasing electronics. Once you have open them they may not take them back. I bought a defective printer cartridge and they would only let me exchange it for another one. read more

As far as Walmarts go, this particular location is clean and the clientele is not bad. Trust me, I've been to quite a few bad ones on the road between California and Indiana! The clerks are always friendly, though I prefer to use the self serve checkout since I seldom have a cart full of items. I recommend doing returns in the evenings between 6-8 pm weekdays as it seems to be the least impacted time for this department. read more

From the pick-up department to the front registers to the management, this store is legitimately being run by toddlers. If you NEED to interact with employees at all for ANY reason, you're better off calling corporate. It won't be faster, but they'll give you a $20 voucher for wasting your time. I know Walmart service is typically a joke but This place is a new level of terrible. They won't answer phones. They can't give you a timeline on a pickup order. They straight up lie to your face to pacify you. Both levels of corporate couldn't contact the store and were at a loss on how to get the items I ordered and had already been charged for. It's a better use of time YouTubing how to make the items you were supposed to be picking up. Save your time and money. read more

The store is small compared to other locations I have been too. It is easy to navigate but it has a lot of things that bigger Walmart sells. The staff is OK, but it's standard for Walmart. I am giving 5 stars for the older lady who works at the self check out, she was super helpful and friendly. My only complaint is the price tag. Prices of goods are not always the same as what the price tags say. It is often hard to find the correct price. When in doubt, use the price scanner installed in few areas inside the store or ask the staff. If you have a smartphone, download Walmart apps and you can scan the barcode to find the correct price. In few occasions you can go to the Customer Service desk and request for the price adjustment, this will take time. read more

The pharmacy has a system where they can send you a text to let you know your prescription is ready. I killed time in the store for 90 minutes when I finally went up to the counter to inquire when it would be finished. It was ready. They just shrugged it off that sometimes the system doesn't send texts...that they are send from a remote office location. Well, I received the text about 9 hours later. Worthless. Waste of my time. As far as the store goes.... it is a Walmart. It is what it is. Fortunately, there is a Target close by. read more

I recently lost my wallet and the only ID I had to cash a check was my old military ID. I needed gas and was stuck. I listened to person after person wearing their "I support vets" buttons tell me I couldn't use an expired ID. If they want to support vets then show it. Don't insult me with your buttons. read more

Reasonable prices you can find some nice deals here. Location is pretty good, plenty of parking. 24/7 means you can always stop by for what you need. The employees seem to want to help, but they seemed pretty inexperienced but the worst fault is not enough employees. They are all stretched thin you basically get no service and any convenience and benefits at shopping here is negated. read more

Absolutely annoyed by this Walmart. I go pick up items every now and then and typically don't have issues. That changed last night. We went to pick up an order placed online. The scanner at the counter wasn't picking up the item. The lady asked for us to go use the scanner on the wall. We had to climb thru carts of returns and clothing just to get to it. We scanned and received the product in about 5 min. Then we went to get a few things including a bottle of alcohol. We went to check out and the teen that was working our checkout was extremely rude and didn't care about it at all. She scanned everything while she played with her hair the entire time. She came across the alcohol and said a manager had to scan it and shut off her light. We stood there while one of her friends walked up as they had a 10 minute conversation while she twirled her hair the entire time. After 10 minutes, I asked if I could go find a manager for her. She rolled her eyes and said no. Locked her register and knocked on the door right next to her register. The manager then came out talking to another manager and then proceeded to yell at her for leaving her register. She then went back to having a conversation with the manager and then eventually the other manager came and rang us thru. You could tell that the managers or cashiers gave a crap about anyone in the building. Just a shame as you would think taking care of customer's needs are why they are there. If I was a manager, both would be terminated on the spot. If this is just a snapshot of their performance, no wonder why the place was an absolute mess. read more

I ordered something cheap online, and the quality was as cheap as the price, so I went to return it. The customer service workers were chatting about how much they hated their job throughout the time I was returning the item, so I stayed mostly silent. As soon as I turned around, an employee very audibly said to her coworker that I was a "skinny white b**** ", among other comments on my outfit and purse. Horrible service from the photo department, my product was not printed the way I ordered it (I ordered a mounted picture but the picture was crooked and part of the image was cut off). Staff was not eager to help and could even offer a solution for my problem or someone else I could talk to. I hate going to this Walmart because they won't open more cashiering lines until there are 15 people waiting in each of their 3 open lines, and self serve wraps around into the produce section. They need to develop Targets attitude towards check out. Target opens a line every time there are at least three or customers waiting. You never really know how good a store is until you see how they handle the problems. I Googled a specific men's shaver and Walmart advertised it for $125 so I went into the store to purchase it. It rang up $147.99. After waiting in line for 30 minutes already, I was irate when the manager told me they don't match their online store. I showed him my phone and asked him to show me where it said the price was online only and he could not. I had a clear example of deceptive advertising and these smug and rude unprofessionals didn't care. I was astounded particularly since I have shopped in this store three to five times a week. I placed an order for pick up today. I selected same day pick up, I waited for two hours and then went to the store. I hadn't received an email telling me that it was ready yet but I felt like it had been long enough considering it was only for one item. I walked in and I went to the customer service desk. The guy behind the desk then proceeded to ask me a couple verification questions making sure that I was the right person. After he asked me multiple questions then he told me that there wasn't anybody in the store who was working on the pick up orders today and I would have to wait until tomorrow. I told him I had selected same day pick up because I thought that I could get it today and asked if there was any other way I could handle it. He responded with I could go on their website and cancel my order and then go pick it off the shelf and pay for it. I was OK with that, but I went on the website on my phone and the website would not pull up my order, I went to the cashier again and asked him if he could just cancel it for me so I could make my purchase. He told me it wasn't his job to cancel my order, and then I just need to get over it. I left and went and bought my product at Kroger. I was very unhappy with the way that the situation was handled, and I don't think I will be placing any more pick up orders at this particular Walmart. read more

I came in around 8pm and by the time I was ready to check out it was about 10:30PM. There were no registers open at all. The only option was to use the self check out. I don't have a problem with self check out, except when I have about 70 items. The attendant walked away when we approached the register, and never once asked if we needed help with anything. I had several very large items that could have easily been scanned at a regular register. And for this I will never ever shop at Walmart again, and I will not be renewing my Sam's club membership either. read more

My sister and her boyfriend and I wanted to get my mother what she wanted for Mother's Day which was a porch swing. We decided to go to Walmart to get her a swing. We asked the lady at cash register how we would check out the porch swing and if we could have any help. She then proceeded to call over a man named Kevon who was extremely rude. We asked him how to check it out and he told us in a rude tone, "You need a carry out cart, obviously," Now since all of us have never gotten something as big as this from Walmart so non of us would've known how. He also made dirty faces at us. He then told us he called an employee to bring the carry out and to help us, we all thought that it had been very unnecessary considering he was behind the counter talking to the cash register lady. I felt very annoyed and so did everyone else. We never want to come back when Kevon is around again because of his attitude and rude tone. read more
