I went to the photo center in Walmart to have either a canvas or mounted picture made. It was my first time so i obviously had a few questions. First of all, when i came up to the register to look for help, no one was available. I stood there for 5 min until someone came along and i asked them a simple question. I had asked: "Which of these models that you have here represents the faux canvas?" The employee had no clue. He left to find some help. When he returns with another employee, she also did not know. I spent 10 more min there while they paged other employees who did have answers and they couldn't locate one. I left and came back the next day thinking id have better luck. I was wrong. It was worse. Again there was no one available to help me. There were two customers in front of me that had also been waiting for someone to appear. When the employee came, he was incredibly rude. He didnt apologize. When i told him i needed help with something on the computer.. he had a face that looked as if he was annoyed and made me feel stupid. He came to my assistance as if were obligated and didn't say a word. He pressed a few buttons on the computer and left without telling me what the situation was and then came back. Oh and when i received my mounted picture... It had a big deep scratch across it that was very noticeable and the edges were undone. It was all a big mess. I basically wasted hours of my life. Do not come here!! There is absolutely no assistance when you need it and the staff is un knowledgable and plain rude with god awful customer service. Not to mention the quality is poor! The only employee that works at this department that is nice and helpful is a young lady that looks Islamic. read more

POOR COSTUMER RELATION. * no eye contact when explaining. 2.POOR KNOWLEDGE OF STORE POLICY. *refusing to exchange my defective ink i just bought in an hour with a receipt. 3. DISCRIMINATION AND INCOMPETENT * when my husband went back and asked what was the problem, they easily exchanged the same ink i was exchanging . In other words they were being jerk to me?! Unacceptable! NOTE: I look Vietnamese / Chinese while my husband look Indian. I am handicapped and like to shop at the Chantilly Walmart. Will you put that down and they will not put additional carts for the handicapped in there after multiple multiple complaints from multiple customers. I am no longer going to shop there. read more

This Walmart is on par with most Walmarts but if you actually need something from Walmart... I suggest going to the one in Fairfax or further out west. This one is lacking in the automotive dept when compared to other Walmart stores close by. read more

The worst customer service experience so far to date. I tried returning something that I bought online which shouldn't have taken very long since we had our receipts and the item wasn't even opened. It took over half an hour once we got to the register. Their system couldn't find item so the rep called over her supervisor. The supervisor couldn't figure it out so he told us we should try another store. Seriously?! I then asked for the store manager. He told me the store manager wasn't in and that was that. This guy was absolutely useless. I then asked for the assistant manager which he then called for. I felt like this guy has never worked a day in retail ever. The manager walked over and quickly determined that they just needed to return to their dot com. The customer supervisor couldn't figure that out? Our rep was helping out another customer so I waited and then the supervisor took the next customer, totally ignored me. He then took another customer who was behind me. I told him that he should be helping me out but he said that my rep needed to help me out. What a jerk. I finally got taken care of and walked out. Not once did I get an apology for their incompetence. I know Wal-Mart won't bat an eyelash losing me as a customer but I have no problem taking my business to that "other" store. read more

This Walmart has the basics in terms of goods, but absolutely abysmal customer service. When picking up dog food I noticed the dog food came with a coupon for a free bag of treats, so I got a bag of the corresponding treats, upon checking out they told me the coupon had expired and tried to make me pay for the treats (I had to ask the lady several times to remove the treats from my order). Why the hell do they think they can try to trick people into buying more things by using coupons that are always expired? The dog food by the way, was not expired, so it's not like it had been sitting on the shelf for months. And it was not a coupon I brought from home, it was the one on the package of dog food I'm buying. This has actually happened EVERY SINGLE TIME I try to use a coupon that comes with an item I'm purchasing. I'm fed up with it at this point, they try to take advantage of people and I will no longer be using this store, I'd rather pay a little more at Wegmans down the street and be treated like a human being. And FYI, when I called customer service to discuss, the woman put me on hold for over 10 minutes until I got cycled back through the call system and someone picked up saying I reached customer service (again) and asked me to explain my problem again, because the woman who originally took my call apparently had no intention of helping me or transferring my call to someone else for help. I tried exchange a gift for my teenager who received it from her Grandmother It is Fitbit watch and she bought it to big. All we wanted to do was to exchange it for the proper size and Ika the customer service manager this morning refused because we do not have a receipt and because it was opened. How would we know it was to big unless she opened it? Now I have to drive two hours away to try to exchange it in the store it was purchased. Ika told me they probably will not exchange it because the box was opened. She opened the box today but never once looking to see if it was operational or all it parts in place. Her service level is ridiculously rude and callous. Now I have make arrangements drive 2 hours each way without traffic, time and energy to possibly be told that her grandmother made a poor decision in making a purchase from this organization. Lesson learned. Do not open gifts from Walmart and always ask for your receipt from the giver in case it is to big when purchased. read more

Let me start by saying I created this Yelp account solely so I could share my experience at this Walmart. I understand it is a Walmart , they have a lot of products however being a super center customers like myself have trouble finding what we came for. Upon requesting the assistance of an employee to point me in the direction of my item I was turned away with no help. Not only did he say he didn't know where the item was but didn't do anything further to help me locate my product. When I decided to head to the front to ask someone else I was directed to the manager after several other employees were unaware of my items location. I knew the store had the product because I had the product code which they refused to look up for me. Finally after being directed to the manager I was sure she would be able to help. Instead what i received was the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Not only did she insist they didn't have the product she refused to look the product code up for me. She even accused me of being drunk (I don't drink). After that I was ready to leave without what I came for and never return. They must not have it I thought, only a few moments later my friend who I came with walks to the front with the item I had been searching for in hand!!! When I asked her for her name so I could reach out to the store about my troubles she said she was going to call the police on us... We bought our item and left. I will NEVER return to this Walmart. Please go to the Fair Lakes location they are much more friendly and helpful. I hope the manager responsible for this is reprimanded for her horrific actions and no other customers ever have to experience what I did last night. read more
