I try to return some shoes that did not fit. They did not accepted even though I had the receipt. The tag we dad was the same that match the receipt. Manager was horrible helping us. She said It was not her problem and she was not going to be there and argue. I told her if thats how you help costumers she kept saying it was not her problem. Don't expect to come here and get good service. Unfortunately, not everyone speaks English so it's a bit hard to get help. They are simply responsible for running the store. The store is quite big and there's always a massive line, always, but it goes fairly quick. They also have the system which calls out which register is ready for the next customer which is convenient. read more

If you want a school backpack, by all means go here. That's off the check list now. This is a busy location, but they have some deals on those, along with men's athletic clothes. I got some sweatpants for the upcoming fall and winter. Their prices certainly beat Macys or any large department store. It can be disorganized. This is more due to customers not putting stuff back. The employees try to keep it good, and I've found the folks here quite helpful. Also be sure to check for razor deals. I was able to get decent Schick disposables for a bargain. This store does a pretty good job, although I wish they'd get more shoes in stock. read more

I guess it's that time of the year already....but thanksgiving just barely ended! The shop floor was very crowded with potential holiday gifts and the lines were as long as you would think during the holiday season! Thankfully they had a full staff up front at the cashiers, so the wait in line was reasonable. Everyone had masks and they sanitized carts. They also had someone up front monitoring the number of people entering/exiting the store. The is a decent sized Marshall's. They have a large selection of clothes. All of the other sections (beauty, shoes, etc) are smaller with furniture being one of the smallest sections. You can find good deals if you look. read more

This Marshall's is located off of 50 and has the usual offerings of shoes, scarves, handbags, women's wear, children's wear, houseware, and a limited men's wear section. I felt most of the tops were mostly repeats, but I thought that the kitchen section was well-organized. I found a comfortable pair of work sandals and a pair of designer jeans on sale, so that was a score! The cashiers were friendly, and the line moved along quickly. Getting in and out of the plaza is a bit of a pain, as there is a lot of traffic going in and out. I am never EVER coming back to shop at this location again. I made a return that ended up being processed as a PURCHASE!!!!! The woman I spoke to over the phone had the decency to apologize, but none of the customer service (more specifically, those working at the checkout) have apologized for what happened. The guy who processed my refund at first only refunded the amount that was processed as a purchase. I had to go in AGAIN to get my ACTUAL refund. Once that happened, I asked for a manager, and the lady I spoke to had to ask why (did I mention that I had to beg this lady on multiple occasions to wrap fragile items? In fact, one time, my mom asked her to do so and she said "no need" when the item CLEARLY needed wrapping!) Once I explained to her, she didn't understand what I was saying and called in the guy who processed my refund before (I'm guessing he's a manager of some sort). When I told him that this mess wouldn't have happened if my refund was ACTUALLY processed as a refund, I expected an apology from him but he said nothing and completely ignored me. Had the worse experience today with a manager there her name is Anna B. She is rude, disrespectful, and has no skills whatsoever in dealing with customers. I visited the MARSHALLS OF CHANTILLY 13007 JACKSON MEM HWY STE FAIRFAX, VA 22033 703-222-0976 today 10/5/2021 to return merchandise with attached tags not worn. Anna B. insisted that two dresses had a Marshall tag that does not match the dresses. She then said that those dresses are not bought from marshalls even though i have the reciept and the tags. She was extremely rude and disrespectful. When i asked her to explain how is it my fault that the attached tags do not match the dresses she said that i have to check the number and make sure it's the same description. I've never seen a customer do that before. To my understanding this is the store employee's job. Anna B. Was not only rude to me, she was also rude an employee below her. What happened today is unacceptable. I will never shop at Marshall's again and will call the headquarter to escalate the matter. read more

I would give this a 5 stars, but parking is kind of a nightmare. The spots are thin and Marshalls shares it's parking lot with many surrounding retailers. The store itself is huge! They have a great selection and the home goods area goes on forever! It is usually busy but you can get in and out relatively fast for sure. read more

No need to shop here with caution anymore, the butt slasher has been caught! I'm a forever fan of this particular Marshalls location. I've found so many interesting and unique pieces here that it's hard *not* to stop in whenever I'm passing through. Yes it can be disorganized, Yes sometimes things aren'tf ully stocked. Most of these places (TJM, Ross, etc.) get their shipments in midweek, so the best time to go is either a Tuesday or Wednesday. And finally YES it takes dedication and patience. It's fun to go shopping here because you never know what you'll find. I've never had an issue with dirty dressing rooms either. So maybe this was something that they've taken care of... hopefully. They have a great home furnishings and linen section as well. read more

The store was messy (in the middle of a Wednesday I can't imagine it was THAT busy, and there was lots of staff around) I actually tripped on something in the aisle because it was so cluttered. The cashier who rung me up was rude and short with me because she claimed the candle I was purchasing didn't come with the lid that was placed on it. I can usually find some good deals here. I love the house stuff, candles, and sometimes get lucky with clothes. The line can get very long even with multiple registers open and surprisingly worse during lunch time during the week. The staff are usually pretty nice and returns are easy. I often shop at this Marshalls but will never go back again as long as this employee is working there. Her name is Tien and she is the rudest person I've ever encountered. A floor manager was extremely rude during a return of a defective pair of shoes my wife had purchased 11 days prior. The first and only time my wife wore the shoes, a buckle on the front broke, prompting her to return the shoes. The floor manager refused to accept return of the shoes citing a policy that used or worn clothing cannot be returned and that the broken buckle was clearly not broken when it was sold to us. Obviously, the buckle was not broken when we purchased the shoes, or we would not have bought them. It's not a huge stretch of logic to understand that the shoes were defective. This logic escaped the manager. In amazement that we would even attempt to return a defective product she kept pointing to the broken item and telling my wife the obviousness of it not being broken when she purchased it and that she would not accept return of the item. The manager then told my wife that she should instead fix the defective shoes instead of troubling them with a return. Finally, (and with a tremendous amount attitude), the manager decided to do us what must have seemed to her the tremendous favor of accepting the defective shoes back. She then closed out this unpleasant exchange with a scolding towards my wife "alright, just this once I'll take it." My wife, quite obviously upset at this point, said back to the manager "what kind of customer service is this? you sold me a defective product, I'm very unhappy with this service." The manager, clearly unconcerned with providing even a basic customer service experience, responded with "that's fine" and then turned and walked away to go do something else leaving the cashier to finish the return. I've found the Marshalls of my dreams, which also happens to be the one closest to me, yay! Why is this Marshalls better than other locations? For one, their home goods selection is really impressive. Whether you need to swap out your bed/sofa pillows, a new pan, artificial flowers, gift bags, or rustic-looking storage, you'll find an assortment of options here. The variety and quantity of home accents easily surpass other area Marshalls. Besides the very dangerous home goods section, this Marshalls also carries many inexpensive and on-trend tops and accessories for juniors and women. The designs are similar to what you would find in more high-end stores, for much more reasonable prices. Their swimsuit aisle is also really nice, with a fair number of swimsuits in x-small. If you're a fan of Roxy swimwear, you'll be quite happy here. Besides having attractive goods, this Marshalls is also awesome thanks to their friendly cashiers and clean and spacious dressing rooms. While I still like the Fair City Mall Marshalls, the Lee Jackson Highway branch has a much more extensive housewares department, a more bearable parking situation, and many more clothing options for petite women. After working in a high end department store for so many years, I've become quite the snob when it comes to quality and brand. I'm currently putting myself through shopping rehab, because I am not rich nor will I ever be and if I want to have a big wardrobe and look nice, I'm going to have to find cheaper ways to buy things. I've recently started taking more of an interest into the whole Marshall's, TJ Maxx, and Ross thing. And surprisingly? It's been a great success. I am able to find a lot of things that work for me. Dresses, shoes, work clothes, casual clothes, etc. I can't go in rushing because there is so much stuff and you have to pick through it...but I've had a lot of success. Particularly at Marshall's. I like this location in particular because I've found nice things in the past. They have a great dress and shoe section. They are also open until 10 on weekends which is cool, since I always find myself in the area for dinner with friends on a Friday night. For some reason though, it's always hot in there so...don't go on a mission there wearing layers. Check it out...you might be surprised. read more

Worst customer service ever! The people at the checkout doesn't care about customer service and very condescending. I wanted to exchange this hair straightener I got because it literally doesn't work, they said I have to keep it. What's not to love about a designer brand name for half the price you'd find at a high end store? I love this location because they are usually clean and I can always find something here, from shoes to picture frames! Its cheap and affordable. I've never had a problem here with pricing or employees and hope I never will. One of the problems I'd say is they need more cashiers. Some days there will be 10 people in line and one cashier and the lady in front of me is buying a cart full of things. Annoying!! Yuck, yucky,yuck! Three words that describe the dressing rooms at this Marshalls. The floors are filthy, and it smells like urine. I had to step over a clothing rack to even enter the dressing area. The selection of clothes here is decent for women...the juniors and petite section was lacking though. And let's not talk about their infant/toddler boy's section. Haven't visited the actual store yet. I saw on an article that Marshalls carries Hunter rain boots for about $20 and since fall is coming and I needed new rain boots I called to ask. The women who answered was RUDE to say the least. Didn't give her name but she sounded tired and had a thick accent. Anyway, I called and I asked if they sold rain boots to which she replied "duh"..... Alright Thank you, do you carry Hunter rain boots specifically? "I don't know why don't you come in and look yourself that's not my job." And then she hung up. Rude. Anyway, I'll be going tomorrow to "come in and look" for myself. I bought a romper about 1 week ago , it was clearance for $20.. a week later I change my mind I brought the item with the tag on and an original receipt. A lady were helping to return the take a look at my item and went to back counter checks to check on the system for good 5-10 minutes and come back to tell me I can't return an items because the tag it not matches the description on her computer and she told me her store did not sell this romper and she know every items selling in this store . She act like I change the item with her nasty attitude ( she is the store manager) she told me she has to do investigation such as reviews cameras to see if I actually bought the item. It take her 20 minutes she came back with NO Apologized and same attitude . Told me " I will take the item back and give me a full refunded " because she saw me bought the item . Who fault it that ???? Appearance Marshall need to trained their employees to go tag properly . Also train their manger to service client better. She should not be a manger at all .
