Went to write a check for my purchase and wanted cash back my local Walmart allows you to do more than $20 with management approval so have some of the others but at this store the manager was so rude! (Celia) was very rude and snotty and would not approve the purchase even after I explained the policy (why should the customer have to explain the policy to a manager) then she passes me off to another manager and didn't explain the situation which caused her to make a mistake. I will be calling corporate to complain as well as the store manager never coming back! It took a whole hour to check out!!!! read more

There ink seletion was a lot bigger then I thought it would be for my hp printer it was only $16 for the black and $19 for the color it was a lot cheaper then Walgreen or best buy. If you have ever used targets pickup and are debating using Walmart's DO NOT! I have used it twice thinking the first time was just a mistake. Well it wasn't. Their service is horrible! OK I'm not going to lie this walmart is decent on the inside but honestly you guys the reviews on the bottom that say are good nope their lie's are blinding yelps true side. Today after i went to the outlet mall at rosemont (was ace) we stopped by walmart it was an OK entrance and all. Did not get a greet from any Staff and or Employee what so ever. Worst custom service. Employees don't care about anything and managers are even worst! I try to retur a damaged printer ink cartridge ( I had to open box and seal to install it. Then I found out it was damage) so Walmart refused to exchanged. I ask to speak to a manager and the manager just told the employee she dint have time to talk to me. Worst employees!!!! Came here for a few items and a blender. Their website said they had Oster Blender in stock but I couldn't find it on the shelf. It was such an ordeal finding an employee. When I finally flagged one down and asked if they could help me he said he didn't know who worked that section and walked away. I asked another employee if she could help me figure out if they had any in stock and she said the THINKS that what's on the shelves is all they have without bothering to even check. I finally got annoyed and just grabbed a different more expensive blender. When I went to check out I went to the 20 items or less lane. The lanes are all a mess there is no sense of where it even starts. I finally get close to the cashier and she tells me the line doesn't start there. At this point in super frustrated. And more frustrating is she's ringing up a man who clearly has way more than 20 items. My boyfriend points this out to her and she just says "well he's already here" no wonder These lanes are a mess. At this point I was just annoyed, I left my cart there and went to Target. I rather pay more than deal with these people. read more

I've come here a few times and I always find it interesting. Try checking out the website the people of walmart So I ordered my iPad Air 2 online for pick up in store as there price was lowest could find at the time. They kept saying they didn't have it, couldn't find it, one employee said it wasn't even released yet which was ridiculous. After several mins of wasted time it finally appeared! The price was great, the wait was not. The employees seemed lost and clueless but then again it is Walmart and it is a large store so I don't know if that gives them a pass. Just returned home from an awful experience. The store is open until 11pm, but at 9:15pm they only had one regular cashier lane open and the self pay stations. What a zoo!!! At least 15 customers in line for the self pay stations; and a line up the aisle for the other lane. I have been shopping at the store for two years during Christmas season. I volunteer at a not-for-profit organization, and I shop for coats, fleeces, hats and gloves. Not only does Walmart have these items at affordable prices, but the staff is always very supportive. They help me during checkout, and somebody always offers to wheel my merchandise out to my car. I really like the new Walmart on Diversey and my first visit would have been a 5 star rating if it were not for one rude employee. The name tag read Linda, she had black hair, between the age of 30-45, and possibly 5'6". She clearly cut me off as I was walking and barely even fit through the space between me and the objects in front of me. She even had to maneuver herself to get through. She acknowledged what she did was ridiculous through a slight smirk, but did not apologize. She clearly could have walked behind me. Seems like a small thing, but the attitude used to get through and not to say excuse me or apologize is unacceptable. I don't usually shop here but I had a large item shipped here and there were some issues (not Walmart's fault) but the customer service staff, supervisors & managers at this location were really nice and the staff was friendly and helped load my car. Their good attitude and cooperation with one another put my mind at ease when I was anticipating stressful pickup and payment issues. Had a very bad experience at a Chicago Walmart 4626 W Diversey Ave., Chicago, IL., 60639 773-628-1880. They only had one register open and of course it was 20 or less item express lane and I had more 20 items and obviously I get attitude right off the bat so I left and went to the self checkout register. So when I had problem with the register it would ask for assistance and here another employee with straight up attitude dosen't even acknowledge himself jus types in his code all pissed off that he had to do it and it happen several times but when one of his own and employee needed an override for transacation he's all smiles talkative and joking with her. I felt discriminated against because I latino my wife is white and all I have to say on that matter. To about half to process 67 items and took a latino female manager to help us out she pleasant and very polite and apologized for the incovenience somthing that the other manager couldn't and wouldn't do then to top it off he runs after us with security to check our receipt I have no idea why his boss took care of it and even the security apologized cause he saws the whole time we were ringing up our items. The male managers action were racist yes I said racist prejudicial. The store is nice and clean....but CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK IS THE WORST.I went to pick up an order that I made online, the woman that was there didn't reply to my "hello,good morning" she asked me what did I need....she had a very bad attitude all the time. they made me comeback 4 times because "my order wasn't there" when I even got the email notice saying that it was ready for pick up....on my fourth time at the store a nice supervisor looked for my box order and she found it in less than 4 minutes....my order was there all the time and they didn't take the time to look carefully for my order. I thought I would save myself some things and ordered a few things online to pick up in store. Items were supposed to be available for same day pick up. I waited for the notice that it was ready for a few hours and nothing. I headed into to store to do other shopping and hoped it would come through while I was there. Still nothing. Talked to service desk and they said they were still looking for the item. I then told them to cancel the item. The next morning I receive notice that it is ready for pick up. Now I had to make another trip to the store which I was avoiding by canceling the order. I filled out the review email regarding the situation. One of the managers (Felipe) called me about it and offered a gift card as an apology that would be available at my convenience. I went in 3 days later and no one knows about it and Felipe was not there so they asked me to come back tomorrow. This is by far the worst Walmart. I saw an item online that was on sale and it showed that this location had it. I went there and they didn't have it on the shelf so after about 10 minutes of waiting around not being contacted by the 4 different employees in this department I finally a asked for help. The guy said since it's not on the shelf we don't have it. This didn't make any sense... Why would I come to this location of online it shows it's available. So I asked the guy to check the system and he said since there's no tag he can't check it. I asked him how does Walmart check their inventory and he said they don't. Clearly he doesn't care to help customers. He then passed it off to another associate and she left the department for 10 minutes to look for a telxon. She came back saying it's not available and gave us other locations that has it. I asked her why it shows online that this location has it but she's telling me no. She said that the inventory system updates every 5-7 days. These employees at this location do not care to help customers and are very lazy!!! They have the attitude of ignorance and I guess for Walmart this is something that should be expected. I will never shop at Walkman ever again and spend my money at target where employees care about customer satisfaction. I'm glad a lot of Walmart locations are closing down because that's what these employees deserve since they don't care to help customers that will spend their money and help them keep their jobs. read more

Lets just say Horrible Customer Service By the electronic area. My Cousin & I Went back by where the Tablets are because she was leaving for vacation, & She really wanted to purchase a iPad or some sort of tablet to have with her on her plane ride. When we got there we looked around at all the tablets to see which would be good, We noticed there was at least 6 Employees in the electronics area, We first ask one employee walking by us and we had two tablets that we looked at and we asked him which one would be better, i am guessing he didn't know instead of getting another employee to help us, he just said I don't know. & we just looked at him speechless and said okay. Then My cousin and I looked at the two tablets and she picked one, So we told another employee that we want this tablet and she said okay let me go get someone to help you. which she actually was working in the electronics and she had the keys on her, She couldn't take at least two minutes and open the case and get us the tablets, she was calling the other person working with her, & What puzzled me is instead of helping us she was too worried about when she was going to take her lunch then after calling the other employee she went to the photo booth to talk to the rest employees standing around over there. It took fifteen minutes for the other employee to come, By then we just said forget it. They could of had a sale but i guess to the employees there, it doesn't mean nothing to them. read more
