The jury is still out on this one; what an interesting visit. We went a bit later in the evening and there were a lot of empty shelves, I would like to assume it was an off day. Other than the empty shelves, the checkout was effortless. We had an issue where an item was on the shelf, but priced incorrectly. I went through self checkout today and was trying to buy gift cards. After I scanned 2 of them , the machine froze and said I needed customer service. Well, Sandra (an elderly caucasian lady with short grey hair) was who I flagged down for help. She was grumpy as hell and clearly annoyed at me. I started off so super nice and thanked her for her help. She literally never replied to me and told me that I can't buy gift cards at self checkout. I asked her why she was being so rude to me and she just rolled her eyes and walked away. I put back the gift cards and ended up buying them from FoodLion. Went to this Walmart on a Sunday for beer , while in the checkout line we had 2 minutes, only 120 seconds and the very rude cashier Annette wouldn't let us wait at her register for it to turn 10am. She told us she "can't" let us hold up her line, I'd like to point out there was no one behind us and I showed her at this time it was only 60 seconds. Annette told us we had to go all the way around to have a different cashier service us, she then proceeded to prioritize socializing with other employees while we waited in a new line for a new cashier. Christmas Eve and I have been waiting 2 hours for an order the app says was ready. 17 irate customers waiting outside their cars on parking spots outside of the group of umpteen cars waiting in the lanes. Talked to a walmart worker who says they can't find the orders because they are all jumbled together. Woman waiting with me says Manager is NO help while there are workers in the store doing NOTHING! The goal was to pick up early so I could move on to other Christmas Eve tasks before other stores close. It ain't lookin good! read more

I get mistakes happen but when it happens every time it's not okay. My online order was late, missing items, and I even had items I did not pay for. After leaving an optional 20% tip for the driver every time I expect my groceries to be on time and accurate. Not okay. read more

I normally don't like Walmart's but this one has made several Improvements. They have plenty of parking and the location is convenient. They have online pickup drive thru where you don't have to get out of your vehicle. Inside there is a large selection. Unlike other Walmart stores, this is a very clean, organized and there is plenty of stock. There are also plenty of registers including self checkouts. I will be back to visit here again. read more

I rented a rug doctor from this store, tried to return it at 10:51 (THEY DONT CLOSE AT 11, THEY CLOSE AT 10:50-BBB issue? I think so) they refused to let us in to simply return the machine, I asked the "supervisor " Stacey (after requesting to see the supervisor from the locked doors which post hours CLOSE AT 11:00 pm) if she could even take it and I would trust her with it as Rug Doctor gives until 11:59 PM. Stacey laughed said absolutely not (as I'm watching people locked in trying to figure out how to get out) because we DO NOT have the "joke of $50" as Stacey made that clear. This Walmart is rude, unhelpful and even hinders essential areas to even be able to return the thing the next day!!! (When they opened this morning!!) PHOTOS TO FOLLOW... **** do not waste your money at your walmart as they have no problem saying they don't care about or have any respect for the customers who shop there. I know...it's Walmart. But, this particular WM is one I'll avoid at all costs. The employees are indifferent to helping you unless you stalk them and get in front of them. I actually argued with one of their yellow vest folks, because she locked down a door 10 minutes earlier than the prescribed time. She didn't care that my car was right there. I had to walk the length of the store to find an open exit, then walk it again, once outside. Lastly, this particular store is constantly out of things. It's become a real issue, and it's forced me to make an extra trip to the local Food Lion on far too many occasions. Yup, it's a Walmart. Pretty consistent with most of 'em, these days. read more

Stop thief!!! I was stopped at the exit by some ranch hand ex cop & accused of not paying for 2 $3 bras. Lol. It started when I visited the store to buy 1 item & like us all...I left with a bunch of stuff I hadn't planned on buying. As I headed towards the hardware section a clearance rack caught my eye. It had $3 bras, scrubs & women's nightgowns. I browsed the rack & found 2 identical bras that were nice & soft. I texted my wife to ask her what size she wore. I placed the bras in the shopping cart & passed a handsome, well dressed, African American man with a baseball hat. He didn't have any merchandise or a shopping cart. In my head I thought COP. I figured 75%~25% he was a "store security theft loss unit" guy. Lol. I rolled towards hardware & got easily sidetracked. I'm disabled & take several powerful prescription meds that cause confusion @ times. I went to automotive & price checked the deep cycle RV & Marine batteries. A helpful associate asked if I needed assistance. I told her that I was simply price matching the deep cycle battery I bought a week earlier near my property in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I pulled a few batteries out & took some pics with my iPhone. I returned the batteries to the rack & I got a little distracted again. I browsed the engine oils looking for some fuel injector cleaner. Not finding any, I finally made it to hardware to pick a toilet repair kit for my house. I pulled one of the higher quality looking ones from the peg board. The package was partially open, so I poked my finger inside to check the thickness of the parts. It seemed decent. I took 1. I texted my wife again "yo" hoping for a reply. Unplanned, I picked up a garage organizer attachment. I wandered the store & checked out some Pioneer 6.5" speakers. I'd just bought Cerwin Vegas from Amazon. Then I went over to the grocery side & grabbed some Nestle Strawberry Syrup because I'm rowdy & live @ 100 mph & above @ all times. Still waiting for the text on bra size, I went back to the clearance rack. I texted that I was about to checkout. I found a really nice sports bra. It didn't have a discount tag though. Finally, my wife texted her sizes & I had to put the 2 identical bras back. As usual there were very few cashiers working. I went to self checkout. You should get an employee discount if you have to use that lane. I asked an associate to price check the sports bra & when her scanner didn't work she used my kiosk. It was full retail & I was uninterested. I didn't need bags & headed to the exit. That black dude was following me. I showed my receipt & some fat, middle aged Hispanic lady asked "Where are the bras?" The black guy approached me & I was ready for it to get rowdy. He was about to put hands on me. Later he said he was a retired 25 year cop. I guess they weren't taught about the 4th Amendment of the United States Constitution. After about 20 minutes of video review the Latina told me "You're lucky you're not leaving in handcuffs & banned from the store." As I laughed at her about her preventing the theft of $6 in Made in China bras. Funny enough, I had to U-turn & buy 1 more toilet repair kit I'd forgotten. The black guy comes up from behind trying to justify his actions. He said I looked suspicious. Just another example on the "Man" tryin' to hold me down based on the color of my skin. read more

My son called the auto center this morning to get a tire repaired and they told him they had one in stock for him to bring his car up. He sat there for two hours before they could get his car into the bank. They pulled it into the bank and informed him that they had made a mistake and did not have his tire,. I asked to speak to the manager to see what they would do to rectify this because my son had wasted two hours sitting there. They said it was simply a mistake, they thought they had that tire size and they did not. In other words, nobody actually checked. So I asked them, can they order in the tire tomorrow and put it on a discount because of this situation, they would not agree to do anything. Terrible customer service. I left one of my bags at checkout a couple of days ago. I called the store to see if they had held onto it. After being bounced around and transferred 5 times, I spoke with Tiarra Mishoe, who said she was the assistant manager. Which, due to her rude tone and dismissive attitude I did NOT expect. She asked which register I had checked out at. I'm not sure if that's a thing, to memorize the registers you check out at in Walmart, but I had no idea. She then asked me if I had my receipt, which I didn't and I know makes everything much more complicated. So she then says there is nothing they can do. Ok now, I happen to know that's not true. My exhusband is a manager at a different location and I called him before I called the store and he told me exactly what to do. But Tiarra was not interested in helping and acted as if my phonecall was an inconvenience to her. I asked to speak to the manager, Cheryl Hayes but was told she was not in. I will be calling or going to the store tomorrow to speak with her and will update my review afterwards. I had never had a problem with this location in the past, and the items I left couldnt have totalled more than 20$ but the complete disrespect and disregard I was treated with is not appropriate when dealing with customers, especially as a part of management. read more

I went to Walmart last evening and got inside and a Walmart employee was handing out the light blue masks we've all grown to hate. 80% of the employees are wearing the mask as a beard. I don't know what Walmart's mask policy is now but the people they hire are ugly. I'd rather they cover up most of their face as it is. What's the point in handing the mask out at the door. The customers who haven't had the shot are walking in with their own masks on. Don't make employees wear a mask below the chin. These goofballs don't do any work as it is. read more

Good luck trying to find anyone to help you unless they want to harass you about seeing your receipt right after they watched you scan yourself out. Really lacking in products and goods. You would think this Walmart would be more upscale and had a lot more to offer for it to be the only Walmart built ( relatively new) in Clayton. With Clayton not having much in regards to shopping ( for now) this Walmart literally has no competition. There's no target or other retail chains keeping it from not getting business but nope this Walmart is worse than the little ones that you would see in the city of Raleigh that offer so much more. Pretty sad. If it was more upscale they would be making a killing in profit but it's a dump lacking 90 percent of necessities. I just took my 2014 Kia Sedona in for a oil change and tire rotation. They said my car is too new and they could not do an oil change because the car is not in their system. I asked them to still do the tire rotation. When I went to pick the car up, I was told they did not do the tire rotation because it didn't need it. I told them I have my tires rotated every 7000 miles. I travel for business and it is very important that my car is well maintained. I do not feel they had the right to make that decision. I also feel they could have gone a step further and figured out how to change the oil. I have used this particular Wal-Mart for almost ten years. When I left, they knew I was upset but no apology or anything--told them ok, I will take my business else where. We have 3 cars and now all 3 will be getting serviced some place else. read more

Yeah, I know...rating a Wal-Mart? I like Wal-Marts; they are cheap and convenient. This particular store is not a very good one. We shopped at a store with an almost identical layout before we moved to this area. This one is much dirtier, and it seems to have continuous stocking problems. It seems like the aisles are clogged with restocking every time we come here, and yet they are always out of multiple items on our shopping list. So we still have to schlep around to other grocery stores. We still shop here a lot, though, as there isn't much competition in this area. The Wal-Marts in Garner and Knightdale aren't Supercenters, and you do save money at Wal-Mart. We've been doing more of our grocery shopping at the Kroger in Garner, though. read more

I received a coffee percolator as a gift which was the wrong kind. I didn't have the receipt but decided to return it for possible store credit. Customer Service told me that even though they know it was from their store (she scanned it) she was unable to take it back because it was over $34.00. Bought a tv last night and realized it was the wrong one that I needed for my son to play Xbox on. Mistakenly I threw away the receipt today while cleaning out my car. Went to Walmart to exchange it for a better more expensive TV and was told no (with an attitude of course) because it was over $25 and had no receipt. Upsets me because the TV was never used and I just purchased it the night before. If you don't like your job, then find another one. I am so tired of only finding Diet Rite cola occasionally. It's the only cola I can drink and most of the time when I go to get some, there might be one or two six packs, but most likely none. This is one of the worst walmarts that I have shopped in. Unfortunately I shop at it regularly because it's close to my house. It is always dirty , disorganized and they usually are ot of a couple items that I need. I am tempted to take pictures and send it to the corporate office but it would be a waste of time. The corporate office obviously doesn't hold there stores to any standards. This Walmart is just poorly managed and the regional managers dont seem to care. My fiance and I went here to look at possible reasonably priced wedding rings and waited for about 10 minutes before we had to go to a cashier to ask for someone to come to the Jewelery section. When the lady got there after another 5 to 10 minutes of us waiting, she was extremely rude. Needless to say it made me think about never going to walmart again. read more

I just can't give them more than two stars because they are always out of stock. The signs on the shelves make it look like they have great selection, but those shelves are always empty. I've been five or six times since moving to the area and they are always completely out of at least two or three things that I need. But it is a clean, nicely organized Wal-Mart. Items don't seem to stay as stocked as others stores in the area. Customer service/support sucks. They don't normally have ,but only a few registers open out of them all and their are normally a long wait just to pay and get out. The pharmacy is good there maybe a wait sometimes ,but the prices are good and they seem to normally keep it moving over there. The pharmacy seem to try to be helpful more than any where else in the store. read more

bought myself a x-mas gift for myself on december 23rd 2011. it's a stright talk samsung galaxy precedent. but i cant get service pick up here at my home in clayton n.c. i called wallmart in clayton on january 7th 2012..i have another stright talk phone but it's not an android phone. i talk to the asst. manger and he said i had to wait till monday and talk to crystal because she handle these kinda of matters..well he said he could not take the phone back after 15 days. well today is 15 days but i have to wait till monday...i like the phone but what good does it do me if i cant use it in my own home..well you ask why did i wait so long..i love the phone but when you go on line and find what the differnce is between the non android and the android service is..not much service at all...so to all you people out the rember that it's not worth it..if you live in clayton nc. dont buy this phone save your money and get something else..i will be calling monday to find out what i can do about this matter and i will let you guy's on here to let you know what the out come was..paul..maybe i won't have to make out a complant to the bbc.. read more
