I have been shopping at this Walmart on Ontario in Corona since they opened there doors and just had the worst customer service experience. I must of called this Walmart 10 times asking if they had any black berries in stock because i had visited tge store a few times in the last week and they were all out. I was hung up on several times...placed on hold several times between 5 and 10 minutes....transferred to electronics twice ....hung up by a manager who claims she could not hear me...transferred to the deli twice and still no one picked up...an hour later and still no one answered my simple guestion ...i am thinking of never shopping at this Walmart again....Extremely POOR phone customer service. read more

Worst customer service I have ever been to 1)I lost my wallet , I called various times and lady who would answer would not even check I called throughout the day and same lady would say no no wallet finally I waited till around 8 pm the lady who answered this time was nice enough to check and yes my wallet was they're I go and pick it up of course everything except for my money was in they're.. 2) I had a gift card I received on Xmas Wich wouldn't scan so they would tell me I couldn't use it not once but twice on the third trip they're I asked the lady if she can input it due to the fact the previous cashier's said I couldn't use it ... 3) my husband purchased formula with his debit card he got the wrong formula so I went back with the receipt and was told I was able to change it because i didn't have the debit card with me I told her I was just exchanging well no she didn't do the exchange I had to come back home to get his debit card only so she can be giggling the whole time 4) and last trip they're I went in threw the garden well when I needed to check out only to have a guy tell me the registers were closed so I started to walk away when my husband noticed they're was people in line so I went back only to be told by the cashier oh no this are my last people I'm helping and the guy who said it was closed said I told her and I responded by telling him yes you told me but you still let other people in line and he smiled and say ohh did that get you upset with a sarcastic tone Seriously only about 3 people in the entire store have good customer service this Walmart is the worst read more

So, I was just in here and was approached by an extremely rude employee named Effie. I was in the beauty section looking at face cream and all I did was open the box to see how big the jar was and put it right back in. She comes up out of nowhere yelling at me from across the store asking if I had dipped my finger in to try it. Which I had not. I told her I don't do stuff like that. I was simply curious how big the jar was. She continued to go on and on. Mind you there was a woman standing right next to me stocking the shelves and if she didn't feel the need to say something to me this busy body should have stayed out of it! So then I had to check out to buy the eyebrow pencil I was gonna purchase and Effie was having a conversation with an employee that lasted 10 minutes so I had to wait 10 minutes to purchase one product. Then she didn't ask if I wanted a bag so I had to carry the pencil out in my purse and hope that wasn't gonna create a problem. I will never shop at this location again. read more

I shop here a lot, too much. The selection is great. Cashiers are great. Prices are great. The smell that has been emanating from the grocery half of the store makes me so sick, literally, that I have to grab my non-food items and pay quickly and leave. It gives me a headache and I feel like vomiting myself. This smell has been for several months now and getting worse. It's like rotten milk, vomit, etc. If they don't get a handle on the strong vomit smell, I will not be able to shop there any more. And the oil change is a joke. Not enough workers, bays, etc. For all the customers that come for the oil changes. It's not worth it. To spend hours waiting for your car on ANY day, having to smell strong rotten milk vomit while you wait. And circling the store so many times. The automotive customer service is not friendly, at all ever. And 2-3 summers in a row with the air conditioning not working right is not good for employees or customers in high heat Corona. Top that with rotten milk vomit smell.. No thank you. I won't shop at McKinley any more either, so I have to go further south. read more

Worst experience ever! There's a very rude & obnoxious manager there name ACACIA who didn't know anything about coupons lingo's. Told me I can't use more than 1 coupon even though the manufactory coupon states, 1 per purchase NOT 1 per transaction. If you don't accept more 1, than do have it in YOUR store policy. If you don't even know the BASICS how the heck you can run a store? She thinks she is running a ghetto area & spoke with a harsh rude TONE. This is MY Store not because it's corporate policy. WTH. A couple years ago I would've given this location a 1 or 2. It's about five minutes walking distance from my house, but I preferred hopping in the car and driving down the freeway to the closest Target. Since the remodeling, I'm there almost every other day buying groceries or whatever random things I happen to be needing. I can't overstate the convenience of a 24-hour Walmart so close to home. I find that I've been choosing the Great Value alternatives over their brand name counterparts, and it isn't even about the price. Went in Monday to have leak checked on a tire under warranty. Was advised to come back another day, without an appointment, cuz they were busy, something to do with the previous Friday sales (Black Friday). Went back the next day as advised, asked how long it would take, was told that my car was next. Came back an hour later and the car hadn't been touched. I didn't have time to wait all afternoon, so I went back the next day, and then I was told it would take 1.5-2 hours until they could look at the car, and that the best time to come back some other day would be 7:00 a.m. read more

some of the cashiers are pretty bad. i am a couponer (not the crazy extreme ones, but i usually will have a coupon for most items i purchase) and a couple times i will get a cashier who will just let out an obvious sigh when i hand over a couple coupons. two different occasions i have been denied the use of a coupon because the coupon was worth more than the item it was for (walmart's coupon policy allows this, with the overage going towards the rest of your purchases). was going to give 1 star, but then i remembered the auto service center is pretty good. so i was going to give it 2 stars, but then i remembered that not every cashier sucks. so 3 stars is where we're at. sorry to the hard workers at this location, but the crap employees are bringing you down. read more

I only come here for a few items nowadays. While the store is always clean and employees seem friendly, they barely carry any organic items. A lot of the other local grocery stores carry a larger variety of organic. They also don't have a great scrub selection of smaller sizes. I check often enough to know it's rare to find the smaller sizes in stock. read more

The pharmacist here is pretty uneducated. I called in a Rx for 5ml sodium chloride inhalation solution vials and he gave me attitude and said that he has never seen them before and that they don't exist. As a doc I try pretty hard to not prescribe stuff that doesn't exist. (Not trying to point fingers but dude had an Indian accent.) Well I phoned in the Rx to the CVS pharmacy down the street and thank God this miracle drug was able to be ordered there. O_o read more

I hate this store, i was shopping yesterday about noon and i was followed by a black male wearing tan shorts and blue shirt. I mean EVERY isle i went down he was there in my face. I hate standing in line to return at Walmart because they actually offer so many services like money orders, transfers, bill pay etc. that it makes returning a much longer process than it should be. Even though I had to wait about 8 minutes in line today, I couldn't stop smiling when I watched Ramon, Walmart's guest service attendant greet every customer that walked into the door with a "Welcome to Walmart", "So glad you are here". Every customer was acknowledged with such authenticity. Ramon reminded me of my Grandfather and made me smile and put me in a good mood just watching him. I do not recommend this Walmart, too crowded, people run you over with their carts. I spend 10 minutes or more to find parking. There is so much product being displayed at the check outs that you don't have room to set your items up on the counter for the checker to ring up. They need checkers that can lift items, they always make the customer lift things for them. There is always someone outside the front door asking for hand outs or a donation, this is getting out of hand. I want to leave without being stopped all the time having someone ask me for money or asking me to buy something. They hit you on the way in and on the way out. Went to this Walmart today before I left decided to get myself some food at Mc Donald's. As I walked out one of the employees at the door asks me for the receipt of what I had purchase I told her I had left it or might of trashed it at Mc Donald's she wouldn't let me leave and demanded the receipt. I noticed there were other customers in back of me and she turns back and tells them to go ahead and go and she never asked them for their receipt. I only purchased about five things and they were all in bags she still demanded for me to go back and find my receipt to prove my purchase. I bought 4 new Goodyear tires for my son from Walmart 4 weeks ago. Last night when he was driving home one of the tires blew out. A BRAND NEW TIRE! We took the tire back to Walmart and they said there was nothing they could do. They couldn't even tell us exactly why the tire blew up.
