Today, Sun 07/07/2019... The store was fairly quiet around 11am, I was at the Self Check-Out when LUCY appeared to ACCUSE me of not swiping a frozen bag of Chix thighs. This is how it went: ME checking out groceries and bagging, out of the blue here comes LUCY from behind me- "You didn't check your chicken before you put in your bag" ... ME- "Excuse me?" LUCY- " You put your chicken in your bag and didnt check it out!" ME- "Oh, Im sorry but Im sure I did but lets see..." I proceed to scroll the screen...ME- " Hmmm, there it is...are you.. watching me?" LUCY- "Im just doing my job!" ME: Accusing me of stealing is NOT doing your job, you are RUDE and disrespectful, this is very weird that you are watching me! I want to see your manager now!" LUCY goes and says something to the gentleman at the front of the store, laughing, LUCY then walks by me...ME: Where is your manager, I asked you to get them NOW!" LUCY: "I getting her!" So I wait, turn around and see LUCY cock/flipping her head towards me, side smile smirk to Brittany the floor mgr that is me over there! RUDE AGAIN!!! Brittany was "Yes, Ma'am, Im apologize, Im sorry, we will get handle this and speak to the associate...", everything SHE was supposed to say but nonetheless very sweet. I asked and recved the store number and 800 to WalMart corp. I got to my car, notice the store mgr name on the ticket, Fernando Reyes and a phone #... I call the phone, its the store, I ask for Mr. Reyes, hes not in and there is no VM to lv him a msg... I asked the associate that answered the phone when is Mr Reyes scheduled to me in? She say... "I dont know, we dont know his schedule!" AGAIN, Im taken aback.... the store associates dont have a schedule of when there BIG boss is on site? WHAT KIND OF STORE DOES NOT POST THE HRS OF THE STORE MGR??? I called corp, got Precious on the phone... she was very kind, took down all the info, she will out in for Mr Reyes to call me w/in 3 business days... she explained HOW associates are to treat customers...but looking at most of these YELP complaints it appears Mr Reyes is either NOT keeping up with training of his associates or he is turning a blind eye...I will be going to the General Mgr, Regional Mgr and up the ladder if I need to... I see Crystal M, 07/01 made the SAME complaint....there is a respectful way to curb Loss in using Loss Prevention techniques, glaring, voyeurism, accusing, rudeness is NOT the way and THOSE associates that do this should NOT be on the floor! IF they are supposed to MONITOR scanners and customers, then should the asscociate make sure they KNOW WHAT they are talking about BEFORE they OPENLY accuse a customer of theft?? Somebody is lying, these associates are NOT trained as we are told when we complain... !!! read more

24 hours baby!!! Luv that!! So many times I am super early for work, and don't have anything to do at 6:30 am after coffee, and it is great that they are open. The location was just remodeled, and is a bit confusing now, but I am getting to know my way around again. The location is clean, and well stocked....even at 6:30 am. I am very appreciative of this location, and will alway come back. The staff is pretty friendly, most of the time, and is willing to be helpful. Luv the 24 hours, because you never know when your gonna need a microwave, and a doorknob at 3am!! lol! read more

Worst Walmart ever!! I waited at the paint cabinet for over 20 minutes...this was after I called someone for help...none of the workers knew where anything was located! I waited in line at the cashier's station for over 20 minutes because Judy and PK were talking the whole time and couldn't figure out the price of the charcoal that was on sale and then after 13 minutes when they were done with that transaction it took them 5 minutes to get to me cuz they were counting money! Been standing in the customer service line for 15 mins now. There are 11 of us currently in line and one person working the counter. Several employees standing around talking to someone who seems to be the manager or person in charge. The person in charge does a transaction for an employee and then leaves the one worker alone again. Poor way to run a store. read more

Came here to buy scotch guard and a lithium 3v battery. Found the scotch guard without any problems. Walked to the electronic department and the 3v shelf was empty. Walked over to the register desk and notice 2 employees helping other customers so I waited patiently for about 10 minutes to be helped/asked if i needed help but nothing. So I walked around to find another employee for about 5 minutes and nothing. After finally locating one in the mechanic area, I asked if she could help me find the type of battery I was looking for. She replied with "no I can't, that's not my department". I said I just want you to look at the price tag and tell me if you have any in the store. She appeared bothered but finally decided to help. So i walked over to show her which battery I was looking for. She said, "well we are out of those". I chuckled and replied, clearly there are none there but can you check in the computer to see if you have any in the store. She said, "no I can't do that. I don't know how. Why don't you go and ask the other staff in charge of the electronic department who work this area." I told her, I already tried but they're busy.... she said, well you can order it online and have it shipped here. OMG, I thought if I wanted to order it online I would have done it already and have it shipped to my house... What happened to great customer service? After waiting another 5 minutes for one of the electronic department's employee to assist me, I told him I was looking for a 3v battery but there were none on the display. I asked him to check the computer. He asked me to show him where the display was so I did. And the he said, well I don't think we have any because there are none there. OMG, check the computer!!!!! Okay, he checked the computer. He said, you can go check the photo department they might have batteries there since we have 7 in stock. The photo department is located on the opposite side of the store. I asked him, can you radioed the photo department and ask if they have any. He said, no because I don't think they have a radio. Oh geez, I am already frustrated here, but kept my composure. Can you please call them and save me a trip? He said, well they might no be there because I think they leave at 4pm. (The time was 25 after 4). He finally called and after speaking to somebody for 5 seconds on the other line, he said, no sorry. This experience was definitely frustrating. The customer service department is lacking here. Walmart needs to provide better training. read more

I just took my car there for an oil change and they made me wait more than one and half hour with my autistic son going berserk, just to tell me that they wouldn't do it. Their explanation for why they couldn't change the oil made no sense. The plug was worn out or something like that, although I just had the plug replaced in January. Never bring your car here if you value your time. It's nothing new that the employees and the managers in this store don't care about your time or about you as a customer. I just had to write this review. I have the pleasure of working with Claudia in the photo department. Claudia took charge with assisting with retrieving two pictures of my daddy from my sister's phone that we needed for our father's memorial service. She was able to enlarge theses photos per our request. She said one of the photos may not be very clear however we would have the option not to purchase. She prepared out ticket and said it would take 20 minutes. We then shopped returned to the photo department where we encountered Valerie. This sales associate proved just as pleasant and knowledgeable as Claudia. She has a keen eye for detail and she put our prints into the frames. Please acknowledge these employees for providing excellent customer service!!!!! read more

Terrible....waited in line 25 minutes to return some seasonal lights I had purchased (with receipt) and unopened, only to be informed....Seasonal items are not returnable! NO WHERE on the receipt is this policy stated!! When questioned, the response given was, "We tell everyone......" What??? That's a policy??? AND when the heck to you tell people?? i went in the other day to buy some beer and was looking for a while. Got a call while i was looking took the call got my beer and was on my way. at the register i was paying for my beer and the lady who was the cashier (older Mexican lady) before i said anything asks who was i on the phone with while i was in the aisle. I just had a simple exchange to make today, and the girl behind the counter could not be more unpleasant or less polite if she tried. They have the Disneyland ropes up at the customer service counter (as we are all familiar with), but when you wind through you are supposed to stay behind the blue rope, even at the counter. Since there was no one there i had no idea. And the CS person just said I need you to stay behind the rope. I couldn't hear her very well because of the mask and i said excuse me, with even more attitude she said it again. When i was trying to give her the merchandise to exchange she said, " i need you to take it from the bag". No can you please, no would you please, nothing. Just the condescending tone. I mentioned that they should consider putting sign up about standing behind the ropes. I'm sure it fell on deaf ears. At the end i did say that the pandemic is hard on everyone and that a little kindness would be appreciated. I know it sucks working on Easter. But that's why I'm here now. I visited this Walmart searching for a variety of items, mostly toiletries which, of course, they stock with often incredible prices. It was a no-brainer to come here to shop. I was also searchingfor a healthy pothos houseplant as a housewarming gift. I found the garden department was organized and stocked with both indoor and outdoor plants. I was originally going to go to Home Depot first, but it was fortunate that I needed some additional items. I ended up finding a nice plant at a good price. read more

Today we were at Walmart on Ontario Ave in corona . We were shopkicking which is an app to get points and in turn receive gift cards for various places (including Wal-Mart) and as we were shopkicking a manager approached me and said it was illegal to do so cause of their competitors pricing and was reluctant to hear my reasoning that i was just shopkicking which Wal-Mart is a participant ... i was embarrassed as she told me this loudly in front of other customers ... I mean... it's WALMART. So you can't ever expect much and don't ever expect help from an employee. It's just the way Walmart is. I was here yesterday. I enter and leave through "Gardening" where they have a greeter there to greet (of course) but also to check receipts to ultimately prevent theft, right? Seems logical enough.. well yesterday (June 7th around 1:30 in the afternoon) as I'm leaving, the greeter, (an older man sitting on a stool under an umbrella holding a highlighter) says to me, "yes, just walk past me like you don't even see me!" (Which truthfully, I hadn't seen him as I was looking at my phone) but, why the attitude?! He smarts off to customers because he's too lazy to do his job and get up to check my receipt himself? I have to approach HIM?! That's his job! If I were a thief and I were stealing something that wasn't on a receipt I would of course try to avoid him and leave the store as fast as I could. It's his job to stop customers and ask for receipts. But being rude to customers because he's lazy, Not cool! I have it in my mind to tell his manager although,...it's Walmart so... hes probably considered an expert employee based off of their standards. So rude. I'll be avoiding this location. read more

Auto dept review: I brought in a flat tire a couple of days ago, as I came in , a female auto employee(mechanic?) asked if I needed something. I said" ,yeah, I need someone to verify where I may have a hole in the tire. I'd like it patched if possible".I told her where I thought the hole was but was not sure. She took a look and, said,"nope, can't fix it." And started walking away, I said,"well do you have this tire here for purchase?" She said she didn't know and to check with the girl at the register, which I did. They did not have it and would have to special order it. I said no thanks and went on my way. I ended up going to Discount Tire Center on 6th street in corona. The guy was super friendly and helpful, took my tire to find the hole, and within ten minutes gave me my tire, patched, full of air and did not even charge me. I have a separate review of Discount Tire Center. Bottom line, Wal-Mart auto is horrible & has horrible employees.They suck at customer service....oh while I'm at it, I'd like to add that Wal-Mart now tries to check receipts when you leave the store as if they are Costco or Sam's club. They say, "can I see your receipt?" and I just say"nope, and keep walking" They cannot force you to show your receipt. Know your rights read more

The store itself is great however don't ever go to the tire department. Worst service, rude employees and crappy quality on there tires. We bought our tires from there and one of the tires had a pre-existing punctured hole in the tire. We only had it for one week and it went flat so we brought it back to the Walmart tire department on Ontario Ave in Corona. We talked to a supervisor and they refused to replace it because they said we didn't purchase a $10 warranty. We said that we only had the tire for a week and it went flat and AAA said that it look like it had been losing air cause there was a slit in it. The The supervisor was not willing to cooperate or get us either a new tire or a refund. So don't ever purchase a tire from this Walmart tire department. The auto center is just after money. My battery was purchased 9/14 and is under the 3 year free replacement, the reason I purchased the more expensive battery, the sales person "guaranteed" that it "will be replaced in that 3 years if there is any issues". Yet now that the battery is leaking, not holding a charge, and 2/6 of the cells are dead they won't replace it. The 2 women I dealt with were EXTREMELY Rude. read more
