Customer service today was absolutely unacceptable. I understand that the location and surrounding community may have employees on high alert because they have experienced theft, dishonesty, and other issues. But not every customer who walks through those doors is a thief or a criminal, and our skin color should never be a reason to treat us as though we are. I was standing at self-checkout when the employee responsible for assisting customers was having a conversation with a manager instead of helping the people who actually needed assistance. When she finally approached my register, she backed away from my order as if she needed to visually monitor me while she stood there holding a Z-Wave. The message that sent was extremely offensive and completely unnecessary. I highly doubt treating customers as potential thieves is part of Walmart's customer-service training. Then I went to the customer service desk, where the employee repeatedly spoke over me and told me she was "trying to make sure I understood." Yet, after I provided the gift receipt, she ultimately gave me exactly what I had requested. Before seeing that receipt, she was argumentative and made claims about what I could and could not do with the video games that were simply not true. What made this experience even more disappointing is that I am the daughter of a retired Walmart CEO/Vice President. I grew up knowing the importance of customer service, professionalism, and treating people with dignity. What I experienced today was the complete opposite. Whatever is happening in the surrounding community, hard-working, paying customers should not have to walk into Walmart and feel like they are being treated like suspects. We deserve respect just like anyone else. And as I was leaving, the same employee I had to address about the way she was watching me sarcastically yelled, "Have a nice day." It came across as intentionally provoking, rather than genuine customer service. Walmart needs to do better. Leave personal frustrations at home and treat every customer with professionalism and respect. I think I've answered my own question about where I should spend my money next time. With food prices getting expensive and you find products like this like many others can we get a health inspector to come out and see this crap you also have produce expiring in a couple of days and not even half off I have no reason to post because I want to be mean it's not right products that are expired. Should be taken off of the shelf and products that will expire in a couple of days minimum two days should be half off. Wowzer! This Walmart location exceeded my expectations! It's not located in the best of neighborhoods, but I was in the area and needed to pick up a few things. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! The spray paint aisle here was so neat and they had cans locked up in a glass cabinet. The usual Walmart near me has spray paint all over the place and people have sampled the paint on the floor, shelves and other paint cans! They all need to follow this model because people are so messy and dirty sometimes! The Clearance aisles here were so neat and tidy! There were 2 full rows with merchandise on both sides of the row and they were as neat and clean as could be! I had a very pleasant shopping experience here! read more

This is the worst Walmart I've ever been to. It took me 15 min wandering around to find a person with a key!!! there are police everywhere in this store, and there was actually somebody who accosted somebody at the checkout and the police had to get involved. I checked out for my items on ---- I tried to go through self checkout. The lady said to go to a register with a cashier. There were only a few open and so I waited in line. One of the items was a temple thermometer. There was only one available and it had a security device. The thermometer was for my service dog who was acting very sick. I am partly deaf, just barely over the legal limit to be considered deaf. I had left my service dog at the apartment and went with my sister instead. I waited in line and paid for my items. I was waiting for her to unlock the security device. This woman was African (not an issue) but she had an extremely heavy accent. She was holding the bag with the thermometer and saying something. I said "Ma'am partly deaf." I pointed to my hearing aids. "Can you speak slower and pronounce very carefully?" This apparently offended her. She started yelling the same thing. "Ma'am the volume is not the issue. I can't understand your accent." She still tells the exact same thing. I turned to the person behind me (there was a line) and asked if he knew what she was saying. he didn't. My sister also couldn't understand her. Then she repeating it again (still yelling). I caught something like "I can't" "Okay can you page someone who can? The self checkout said to come here and you could do it." Then she put the thermometer on the little type shelf there and pointed saying very clearly finally "Go Go" Then she said something else. The guy behind me said "She wants you to go to customer service or to self checkout out. They have the thing to open it there." I was so confused. "But the self checkout said to come here?" Then she pointed and yelled "Go go!" So I took the items and started towards customer service. Huge line with only one person working. I was kinda just thinking about returning it and go across the street to CVS. The self checkout lady (different that the other one who said to use a cashier register) I guess could hear the other lady yelling at me. I started to wait in customer severe line and she was motioning for me to come over. She unlocked it and said have a nice day. This is a reminder for disabled people to always have every tool to come to a Walmart. Hearing aids, service dog, iPad for people to type on to let me know what they are saying. Granted my service dog can't understand accents, but it's extremely obvious you are disabled and employees treat you with respect. read more

I really hate this Walmart. Most of their employees are rude and feel that they can speak to people any way. I actually just came from there and this old rude woman complained at me because I had taken my large bag in the store. That is the only Walmart that requires you to leave a large bag at the front. That old lady upset me so much. I always feel that you should be nice to everyone. You never know what is going on I their life. That is me. I am going through a lot. This is the WORST Walmart in the area. I do everything I can to avoid it. You can never get any help getting items that are locked up and when you finally have to call the store to get help, they act impatient while getting your item. I had to ask 3 people to unlock the toothbrushes and when someone finally came they just stared at me like I was the problem and then aggressively tapped their foot like I was the issue while getting my toothbrushes out behind the locked up case. Every time I come here there's an issue and it's just getting worse. I do everything I can to avoid this Walmart. read more

You must move to another line. The line you are in is just for Covid." We got out of our car and walked to see a sign - none. We were punished for no reason. Save yourself a major headache. Every time I come here and use the self check out a woman comes over to me when I'm done to press the "five star" button for me or ask me to rate them 5 stars. She will deliberately come into my space and press it so now every time I come in I press no thank you before she can come over to me. Last I was there I pressed it and she asked if I had checked out since it didn't appear and I showed her my receipt. I don't like someone being up in my grill when I'm just trying to get in and out. I go to Walmart for everything and not all of them are set up the same or possibly under construction. First time at this location and the staff were unbelievably rude and unprofessional towards my friend and I. I asked an employee a question about the price of an item. She was rude. Cussing at me. As I walked away shocked she continued. I got to check out and asked the cashier about another item hoping she could tell me where it's at so I could go straight to it and not have to deal with the previous rude employee. She said she didn't know where it was before I could completely finish my sentence. I braved the rudeness to go BACK inside to find my item while trying to "hide" from rude employees. It was scary feeling. I found my item and went back through check out only to be treated the same. Never coming back! read more

This is the closest Wally World to my house in the heart of the Ethiopian community. I'll just say that I purposely drive to further Walmart locations because this one is pretty disappointing. Granted, Walmart is always busy but this location IS. ALWAYS. BUSY. And by going to other locations, I've found that the other stores tend to be less crowded & have more variety to choose from. Not to mention, checking out is ambitious as there are only ever 2 lines open. I can't count how many times, I simply put my cart away & just left because they don't know how to open more lanes for literally EVERYONE'S convenience. Plus, the drive-thru pharmacy lanes have been OUT OF ORDER for months, the pharmacy technicians always have an attitude and the cashiers are deliberately slow af. Don't waste your time. read more

Yes then come to this Walmart because all I came in was to buy a couple of cases of water and that's it's so when I saw that there was no waters on shelf but in pallets wrapped up . With no employees to help but on break so when I asked them if they could cut it open they said they were on "Break" so once he was done he came with a storm of an attitude just to unwrap pallets with water that were not even stacked on the shelfs to begin with. This is an awesome store, has more stuff than a regular wal-mart, but you'll be waiting in the checkout line for as long as you took to shop. I work nights and have come here after work at 8am to shop a several times. Everything is good until I go to checkout, they have tons of employees around but only one lane open. I asked the checker one time why they dont have anymore lanes open and she told management saves labor because checkers are not production workers..WHAT!!! The last time I went I had a lot of stuff,, easily over 100 bucks in groceries. I waited 20 minutes in line while all the managers were meeting right behind me near the cosmetics.. none of them called to open a register or tried to help the situation at all! I got so mad I just left the store. Hope they put all that frozen stuff up in time! There is a Kroger right down the road at greenville and forest, they are friendly and have self checks and 2 or 3 lanes open every morning. They now have my grocery business. read more
