Reason: This particular store is located within nearby schools. These middle/high school students congregate at this store after school. These groups of kids, in general, will take food from the deli's hot lights and minutes later will put the same item back [package open] once they have nibbled on it, as the supervisor on the floor watches them do it. These groups of kids, in general, will congregate in the dining/cafe sitting area without any food/drink items and make it their recreational area, all while the paying customers are either trying to find a place to sit or trying to not get bumped by these kids. Some people use this area as tutoring sessions and a place of business, all while paying customers are trying to use the area as well. Most times, it is impossible to find a seat for one to eat what has been purchased. Management -- There are plenty of them, but don't ask the floor supervisors for anything that will be deemed "out of the way" for them, especially when addressing the disturbance of these school kids. I complained once about this issue and the [lady] manager was so afraid to address this matter that she called for other managers for help. Instead of addressing the disruptive behavior of these kids, she thought best for me to either deal with it or just leave the store. One of the managers she was talking to even gave me a stare down, as if wanting to intimidate me, but unfortunately for him, he was unsuccessful. This prompted me to take my business to another Publix and I would suggest you do so as well. It is not worth the hassle...!

Even though I enter my phone number all the time my app shows nothing! Next I'll address the staff. The lady few visits the service had been horrible specifically at the registers. They don't say hello or thank you or bye. They talk amongst themselves when checking out. Yesterday afternoon I stopping for a few things and asked a manager about a sale item not in stock. I told her the shelf was empty. She had us walk over and said "yes, there's no more" Really?? We asked if she could check the back and when she thought they may get more. Her lack of wanting help was so obvious. The lady stocking wine was enthralled in a phone conversation on her cell phone. It's no wonder this store is empty most of the times I go. There are certain items I like to get there and honestly the staff behind the counters is great.

The best part is the bakery. They have a huge selection. I love the freshness and the flavor. The only bad thing about this store is the parking. It is dreadful. I was surprised they had such a small selection of bread. I looked at their pre-made salads and they looked less than desirable. I bought a couple frozen foods and a bit of fruit. I left without bread and they also didn't have the butter I like. I don't shop at any Sedano's often. I am glad they are around because it gives us more choices and they happen to be in out of the way locations I am sometimes around. The cashier was not too friendly. Parking was easy.

I decided to throw a little party, and when I do I always like to do so with a culinary theme. Probably stemming from the craziness within me I decided upon a Peruvian theme for my food. I had a great recipe for a traditional Peruvian ceviche but when I went shopping for the ingredients, horror of horrors, I ended without being able to locate Peruvian corn. I tried Publix, Winn Dixie and a number of nearby ethnic markets but no luck. Fortunately I was given the tip of trying Sedano's Supermarket No 35. I had thought Sedano's Supermarket No 35 would be little more ethnic hole in the wall of a market, but when I arrived I was stunned. It turned out to be a huge full-fledged super market. Best of all, I found its shelves loaded with all sorts of ethnic food items. Though mostly of Latin and South America, from all over the world plus everything at reasonable prices. I had little difficulty locating Peruvian corn, but when I did, there were so many types and varieties of it, I was lost. But fortunately while standing in the aisle, as if sent to me by a culinary god, a familiar face of a local Peruvian chef showed up and thankfully guided me in making proper selections. Though Sedano's isn't anything of a particular great supermarket I have to say I'm a Four Star fan of it as it carries so many otherwise difficult to find varieties of ethnic foods. For me, I not only with the Peruvian corn but also cans of squid, mackerel, eel and others all done in varying sauces and preparations. *
