Spent almost an hour collecting items in my cart. Leave my cart for 5-7 minutes to look for something and come to find my cart missing. Mind you I wasn't very far from where I left the cart, and easily could've been asked if that was my cart. I asked any employees if they've seen a cart that was placed in the particular area, and they notified me they took the cart back to return the items back into place. Disappointing that this happened without warning, wasted my time and the employees told me that I have to go back throughout the store to retrieve my items again! I like to shop at Walmart because of selection and price; however it's very frustrating when you go early and your dodging stockers and their racks. If you open at 6:00 then you should have most your stockers off the floor because inevitably they are in the common aisles that most people expect. Due to stocking I couldn't even get to an aisle I needed and it would be more of a hassle to ask them to excuse me so I didn't get a couple of my items. This is the holiday season so need to keep the stocking and all the go backs off the floor so patrons can get their shopping done. I will say that I appreciate most of the new employees because they are friendly and acknowledge you...much better than last year where many were rude including your managers. read more

Customer service just dropped to zero in my book. Walmart new policy is that if you bring your own bags you have to bag yourself. If you buy their 10 cent bags they fill fill them. The person at the register just starts stacking your groceries on the little triangle spinner and on the small table near the ATM. They they stare at you waiting for you to fill the bags before they can scan the next item! This is deplorable and rude. Today I went to Walmart to make a purchase. I needed help with something on a high shelf. I went to the toy department and I was able to locate an employee it was about 10:30 this morning and she told me to go way over by the sheets I was trying to buy pillowcases and they were high up and they're only a few left so I couldn't reach them. The employee which was the female immediately showed up with a ladder and help me out. I know there's a lot of complaints about the store but I have been fortunate and I want to thank her. I had few issues, starting with pickup, I ordered pickup at 7-8pm because it stated it would be less busy at that time, but it got delayed to 10pm, we had to get my kiddo up and go get it, when I got there I couldn't check in due to tech difficulties. I had to talk to pickup employee, and I did and was delayed another 30mins, so I decided to shop while my wife waited, I was done in 16 mins, I then complained to the team lead that was there on the evening. Also, call support for the downey location is unavailable, so don't expect any good services or help at this location. I don't shop at Walmart, but heard they have one of those Coin Star machines inside (I have a VW coin bank that was full to the "roof"), so I went on Yelp and saw that they were open till midnight. It also helped that I was kinda close by this location and that the store was fairly new (as far as Walmart "standards" were concerned). Parked far (don't trust anyone in a parking lot--esp at a Walmart), hiked in and then of course, the damn machine was "dark". So...if you want to not like a place in the first "place", get annoyed with this one thing you drove over here for to be broken, do yourself a favor and don't waste your time, gas or chance of getting your car hit by freakin' shopping carts all over the place (almost outnumbering cars), or people that don't give a damn about other people's cars, then by all means, come here. Went here the other day to go tv shopping. didn't find what I was looking for. while I was on my way out of the door with my 69 year old veteran mother and her service dog we were physically accosted by one of the self check out clerks. A woman by the name of Nadine physically blocked our path and grabbed my mother's service dog by the mouth a began pulling the dogs mouth to her lips to kiss the animal. The service animal was properly trained and labeled. As well as attached to my mother with a leash. None of these things deterred Nadine at all. What kind of policy is this Walmart? The clerks need to be trained on ADA law, and trained not to do this. What if the dog was unable to do it's job for my mother or another individual, who also needed a service animal, because of this lady's actions and complete lack of training. Or what if it was a fake service dog and the animal bite her face because of this lack of awareness I will definitely be filing a formal complaint with Walmart corporate and the store management. Nadine should probably receive some additional training or maybe the entire staff should be trained that this is completely inappropriate and very rude behavior. This store is the worst for grocery delivery. I have even been told this by drivers. Lately I have to call on every order for missing (and billed) items. Yesterday my order was $130 and $67 worth were missing when it was delivered. I was billed for these missing items and could only get a credit back to my card which according would go through in 5-10 days. I placed another order for the missing items yesterday that was to be delivered between 1 and 2 today. At 2 the website showed my order was on it's way... and it stayed like that. I called customer service and he said the driver had returned my order to the store and he called the store to have my order re-pulled and assigned to another driver. He said call back in 30-40 minutes if I hadn't heard from the store or received my order. I called in an hour and was told they were waiting for a driver and call back in an hour if my order didn't arrive. Called back in an hour and was told they were getting my order ready and didn't have a driver yet. Again call back in an hour if I don't get it. So here I sit doubting I will get my order at all and if by some miracle I do I'm betting it will be missing items. I am done with this store. read more

This time, I waited in my car an hour and nothing. We went shopping for misc household items. Unfortunately we didn't get everything we needed due to it was too warm in the store. After walking around being sweaty, we called it a day early before getting everything. We picked up a pain reliever like Advil but they would not let us have it. They took it to register 10 for pickup at checkout. It had the longest line of course and we went to a different register to check out. The cashier went to register 10 to get it but it was not there. Someone else took it. What a bunch of bull that was. A waste of time. When their sales drop double digits, maybe they'll wake up. They tried this at a different store and removed it due to poor sales. Went to Target after this where it was cool inside AND you could get Advil right off the shelf with no problem.
