The people at customer service are extremely rude. I'm a spark driver, and i had an order that was canceled after i shopped the whole thing. So i already only got partial payment for it. Spark customer support told me to bring it to customer service.. customer service then proceeded to tell me that i needed to put everything away. I refused because i didnt want to work for free. She said "well dont shop here then because now we're going to have to throw these away" as if theres not 20 people on the clock in Walmart who could've put it away. read more

The employee lady name Joel or something (slim, black hair and glasses) at front self checkout is so dam rude! She likes to profile people and makes a scene when she wants something you have in your basket ! I mean she literally suggested I priced tagged something myself!? not sure how!? she acted like I work at walmart!! This experience was horrible !! NOTHING gives her the right to HARASS me in front of my kids! Just because i found a great deal on an item she then starts asking me questions?! Everyone likes a good deal but then again , I answered all her dumb questions and then she still suggested I leave the item!! She stood behind me and watched everything I scanned and She said she was told by her manager that "she had to stand next to people and watch to make sure they scanned every item." When she could not get a good view of my items, she then came up in front on me and my kids "just to make sure everything was scanned". THAT IS WHAT SHE SAID! she is trying to set bad image on me in front of my kids this is DISGUSTING AND TERRIFYING!! This is what Walmart hires!?? This was absolutely Horrible and Scary , if this is how walmart is ran then they will lose more customers! read more

Had to go to Walmart today but we decided to drive out to Fallon because we were going to go to the movie theater but then we decided not to. so we went to Walmart anyway and I have to tell you it's hot in there for as much money as Walmart makes they need to turn up the air conditioning it was 106 outside and at least 80 something in there. They have a large household section there so if you're looking for a household goods I would definitely check but they're grocery section is pretty minimal as far as canned goods and stuff like that. read more

My sister in law who is pregnant btw went to go get groceries today, she used the pickup option because she didn't feel like going in the store today (the entire purpose of the pickup option imo). While the employee was loading her groceries, the her pickle jar fell on the ground and broke. The poor fella cleaned it up and then asked another employee to grab her new pickles, however the mf came back with the wrong pickles. There is a difference between a regular whole pickle and a baby pickle, fallon walmart employees. Let me tell you something. The pickles she originally bought costed more too. They tried to jip her. I bought tires from them had them install and balance the tires. It only took about 50 minutes, that was great I thought WOW great customer service. As it turns out they put the weights on wrong and totally scratched the wheels on the front. I returned to get the wheels rebalanced I had an appointment should take only about 20 minutes, it took 2 hours. The guy put a big black shoe print on my white carpet, he did not use the paper or the mat. I called corporate they said sorry, you will get a return call from the store with in 48 hours. That was one week ago, still no call. I called back again and received more lip service but no response from the store. My wheels are still out of balance. TMI-if, ya know wot I mean, eh? Road trips are always like that, right? Right. Anyway, after taking care of my business, I felt I was low-ebbed energy-wise: Purchasing dark chocolate and eating it immediately will ramp me up becoming a nervous Chihuahua which will prevent me falling asleep at the wheel . . . The store itself seems to be pretty stocked whenever I'm there and the employees for the most part have been friendly. However, my biggest complaint is the lack of adhering to their own policies, especially with Covid. They've made it clear with signs posted that it's a requirement for those who enter the store as well as employees to have a mask on in the store. But so many people, including employees don't wear masks. I've never seen anyone enforce the policy with customers or with their own employees who simply don't feel like wearing them. Customers also walk around with pets, which according to Walmart, isn't allowed. It just blows my mind that you can walk in a small locally-owned business who clearly needs your business more, would rather lose your business than put their employees and other customers at risk. Honestly, I have mad respect for those businesses. Come on Walmart! You can do better. read more

Worst Walmart I have ever been to, and I have been to a lot. The product quality control is really low with items banged up and ripped open, or product on the outside of a container having exploded or spilled, etc. The worst is that SO many people are not wearing masks. I even saw employees not wearing one at all, or wearing them completely off their faces. It's the only Walmart in town, but I recommend going somewhere else if you're at all concerned about Covid. I mean, there were so many people without masks, I couldn't believe it. There may have been more without than those with one on. No one was doing their job at the entrance to tell them to put one on. They even have a box of free masks sitting there as if they would. read more

I don't often have good experiences at Wal-Mart but today was a big exception. We met Shauna, an amazing person and associate. She stopped to offer help, introduced me to a Wal-Mart program I wasn't aware of, and made sure a I would ask for her if I needed future help. I had been have it a horrid day after being verbally abused at a business close by. Her smile and warmth made a major difference in my Wal-Mart experiemce. She is a blessing. Had me laughing which I would have bet was impossible! I hope everybody sees that SHAUNA is our treasure in the Wal-Mart experience! Thank you SHAUNA more than I can say. read more

Seen power tools with a sign over them of $10. Called a manager over to get the approval to purchase them as advertised. Once the manager was finally found, after much searching by multiple associates... she walked up, looked at the sign and said, "that doesn't say $10". Then she proceeded to turn a different sign around (the 10$ sign was the only one facing the product) and said "this is the correct price and I won't give you the tools at $10" clearly advertised at $10 but refusal to honor the advertised price. And on top of that was rude and proceeded to tell me how I was stupid for thinking that was correct. Way to discriminate against a disabled veteran Walmart! read more

I've been to "Super Walmart" only a handful of times. Most of the Walmarts I've shopped in are pretty dumpy and disorganized. Not here. This place is *HUGE* and you almost need a map to navigate through all the aisles. Everything is nicely spaced out, nothing is on the floor, and the items are pretty well stocked. And apparently this place is open 24 hours... So, if you *have* to get that "Tangled" movie on BluRay at 2:37AM, I guess you can take care of it here. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of Walmart... But I'll shop here cause I can get most items on my shopping list all in one spot. This Walmart Supercenter has a bakery, deli, nail salon, vision center, garden center, portrait studio, automotive tire and lube center, full grocery, McDonald's, red box kiosk's, pharmacy, 1-hour photo, and a partridge in a pear tree... The only thing not here, and especially in Nevada, is a mini casino. Okay, I'm done here... read more

I have never been a Walmart fan but it's the biggest store here. The grocery prices are good, quality of the meat items are good, bakery is good, but produce leaves a lot to be desired! I bought a small watermelon, let it set for a couple days to ripen a little more only to discover it was rotten on the inside. Ugh! Since then, I only buy produce that I will use immediately + the avocados are gross. Not all the Associates are the friendliest or most helpful but there are some gems that make the curmudgeons tolerable. read more

A few weeks ago, I had the tire center mount a spare tire for me. They mounted it backwards but it wasn`t a big enough deal to bring it back. After a few weeks of sitting in my shop { never mounted on vehicle } it went flat. When I took it back, The auto center mgr. told me that I was lying and theres no way it could have been mounted backwards. Dropped tire off, 20 m later I get a call saying it doesn`t have enough tread to repair it..It had enough to mount it !! so I try calling the Store mgr. After being hung up on 3 times, I was put on hold for over a HOUR, and got to talk to some other lower level managment pogue..Satisfaction guaranteed.. I hardly think so.. If you can go ANYWHERE else, do yourself a favor and o there.. Finally got to speak to Store Mgr, who was supposed to have his District Manager call me, but still waiting.. read more

I usually love this Walmart with helpful staff. But today was so irritating. I couldn't find anyone for help to cut some fabric. The speaker above said for someone to come to the fabric section at least 3 times since I asked the workers. The lady there earlier wouldn't help me, gave me the dirtiest look when I was clearly struggling to get some ribbon at the top. Then I finally found a lady and said "excuse me could I have some fabric cut real quick" she couldn't even bother to turn around and look at, looked at another worker & said "go get someone". Even while I was shopping later, she just kept giving me dirty looks? It was just a game of that until FINALLY someone helped me out & she was the sweetest! WalMart in Fallon is awful!! The grocery lines are 20-30 minutes long, milk is out most of the time, the deli lines are long and many of the workers are rude. On line shopping has taken over and the workers doing that shopping are EVERYWHERE taking up aisle space, and again, most are rude!! We surely need another supermarket in Fallon!!! read more

The lady behind the counter told us she was getting ready to go home and had no time to get it for them. They asked if someone else could help them and were told everyone else was out on lunch break. This is for the tire and lube shop. I've worked as a mechanic and I've been to a lot of shops and never have I seen less give a fu@$. Made an appt for 11am. They pulled the car in at about 1130 which is fine there was a car on the rack already. All I needed was two tires installed and rotated. Poked my head in at 1230 and all that was done so far was remove the wheels. It's almost 1pm and they haven't even mounted the new tires yet. I made an appt because they always have a 2 to 5 hour wait but I guess that doesn't matter because the mechs obviously have no motivation for a quick turnover. I will go to firestone for sure next time this is not worth the wait. Edit: so after they finished a full two hours after it got put on the rack even though I warned them that the treads were asymmetric they still manage to install them wrong. Guess I'll go do it myself like I should have done in the first place. Edit 2: I just noticed that they inflated the tires to the maximum tire pressure rather than the factory pressure listed clearly inside the door. read more

Here is how to make money with Walmart. Buy a computer part. In my case it was a wireless router. Buy it from either Sparks or Reno walmart. Go to Fallon Walmart and ask for refund. Well in my case I had to ask for it because the part was defective. You will receive higher refund than where you have originally bought it from. Well I was too ethical to point that feature out to the customer service and thanks for being honest, I had to wait 10 more minutes for someone to adjust the price and give me the correct refund. Honesty doesn't pay at Walmart. So I did buy something from Fallon and noticed how it was a few dollars higher than other Walmart. Well that gave me enough reason not to go to Fallon walmart. read more

This is basically the mall for Fallon since there's not much in the small town...and this Wal Mart is huge! I've been to other Wal Marts in California, and they make this Wal Mart seem like Bloomingdales compared to a JC Penny's. This place is pretty organized, clean, and mostly stocked, which makes it more pleasing to come here. The workers here could be nicer - maybe flash a smile once in a while. I'm more of a Target fan, but since there isn't a one in Fallon and this Wal Mart isn't the worst I've been to, I don't mind coming here. read more

One the store is dirty, never fresh fruit or veggies, usually the lettuce heads or limp also don't last one before spoiling. Milk goes bad fast and if return they act like doing you a favor. Poor quality off meat chicken and fish. High prices and not slot of floor help. Oh and don't get me started on dogs!!! What is it with people that think it's ok to bring your PET to the store? Really puppies, pit bulls, rat dogs. Not one identified as working dog, if you ask they say some BS About in training or just seeing if dog likes to do it. Workers will get fired if ask about dogs. So Walmart is more worried about offending people rather than the first kid that gets bitten or mauled not to mention urinating and shitting. But call county health and complain Walmart is misconstruing guidelines. PS I own dogs & cats but leave them home. read more

I was actually surprised how this Walmart is!! 1st it's very clean, offers the grocery pick up,the salon and the eye exam/glasses store too. 2nd the store is very clean and once again surprisingly organized. They have things stocked(not just boxes everywhere) 3rd the employees I did come in contact with had great customer service! The checkout line went quickly because they actually had cashiers lol Not often do people say they enjoyed their Walmart trip... but today I really did! This store continues to decline. They have removed the benches in the store that made it user friendly for the elderly or handicapped. Some of the employees are helpful and courteous, but my usual misfortune is to find the ones that aren't. The other day I was in the store to buy fabric, no one at the counter in the fabric department so I went to the jewelry counter to ask the lady there if she would call for some one to help me, she was not busy with any other customer, I got a lecture about where I should go to to get help for that, ie: the fitting room. Needless to say I ended up giving up and leaving the store not making any purchases. read more

Drove in 75 miles from Hawthorne to pick up supplies only to be sorely disappointed in a store managed so poorly. Upon arrival, there were NO shopping carts at the Home entrance (nearest the Garden Center). When I asked an employee (there was no greeter), she indicated that carts were located at the far entrance by Grocery. Really? I had to then fish a cart from the parking lot, then headed to the Garden Center. Good selection of various plants to help us establish our garden for the spring, but none of the bags of soil had price tags, and there appeared to be only one person working the department (on a Saturday) and he was too busy at the cash register helping the long line of customers check out. Headed next to the pharmacy, as the WalMart mobile app showed that they had my item in stock. Nope. Shelf was empty. Asked a clerk for assistance, but he was too busy restocking endcaps to go find my item - he actually told me that I would probably have better luck at Walgreens! Picked up some more items around the store, headed to electronics - oh, wait, this store apparently has been in the middle of a remodel of the electronics department for some time now, and the department was roped off. When I asked to speak with a manager, they sent an assistant manager over, who explained that corporate began the remodel, stopped midway, then never returned to finish it. I guess I'll be driving the extra 20-30 miles to the Fernley store from now on, or just wait until my trip into Reno every two months instead. PATHETIC. read more
