    Contrary to the negative reviews of this Walmart, my experience today was the opposite. First of all, I get really annoyed at people who complain about Walmart, but yet there they are shopping at Walmart. There are other choices. Today we visited the Veterans Cemetery. We live in Reno and have 4 Walmarts in our city. The Fernley store was no different than some of the other Walmarts that cater to the area and do not carry certain products. I know that and shop accordingly. I only needed a few things and got them with no problem. Employees were not running about. Though not particularly friendly, I did not see rude or unprofessional behavior such as running through aisles with carts. I think I would have contacted a manager in that case. The lady in the self checkout was not outwardly friendly. However she was at least in her 60's and an oxygen tank was by her side. I happened to hear her answer a question with a weak and sickly voice. There she was in presumably bad health, standing and watching to help customers. Not sitting outside panhandling. Good for Walmart for giving her a dignified way of supporting herself. My experience was good. I'd come here again if in the area. Saved me a stop on the way home today. And it's Memorial Day weekend! Didn't appear to be short on staff or product.

    Three stars for a Walmart supercenter that was okay with overnight parking. I stopped in to the store first and picked up some creamer for my morning coffee and a loaf of keto bread. The store was stocked well and reasonably tidy. After paying at the self-checkout, I visited the restroom which needed attention. Not terrible but in need of cleaning and tidying. The parking lot was clean and level. Carts needed attention. My night's sleep was decent and I was not disturbed. So yeah, three stars. [Review 17729 overall - 71 in Nevada - 1250 of 2022.]

    I came here to do a little grocery shopping.I like this store.The employees are pleasant .And they are well stocked.I recommend this place

    This is a pretty good Walmart. Well stocked and good variety of items. The few times I have visited it seems cleaned, organized and well kept which is rare for some Walmarts.

    There is a worldwide pandemic going on called COVID-19 & the employees here and customers are not wearing face masks! This store needs to be closed and deeply sanitized. The employees are not wearing gloves nor sanitizing. They are not sanitizing shopping carts. They are just all hanging out outside together not social distancing. I don't care if you don't believe what doctors & health care professionals are saying, COVID-19 is a very real disease. Walmart corporate should clean this store and enforce mask policies. They are letting people walk around without masks coughing. The sanitizer stations they have are really dirty. The registers are not being cleaned nor are they enforcing social distancing.

    Not impressed with stocking and delivery. They seem to run out of many items weekly. Produce is substandard usually. Needs improvement.

He called them, they came and basically the outcome is that it's private property and he can have anyone leave the store. I highly recommend to NOT shop at this location (Fernley). Vince should not be a manager and will lose customers with his unprofessionalism towards customers left and right. I believe the police force is going to get tired from all his calls as I was informed my call in wasn't the first. So I was banned for that day. Do you really think I want to return Vince. Pfhehe, NOT! Surely won't help your store throwing people out due to your poor customer service lol

It has three access points - two on Main Street and one located to the rear of the parking lot. It is always crowded with people buying gas, going to RedBox, going into the store and then the people on foot. Very rarely have I gone in and there isn't a line and both cashiers are working like crazy to get everyone in and out quickly. Haven't tried any pizza or the new hot food additions. We usually go in for Monsters, Taquitos or Slurpees. They used to always have the banana flavor stocked in the Slurpee machine but as of the last few times I've been in it has been some off flavor (this time it was mango/peach). I will continue to goto this location as it is the only one in Fernley so I have no option to drive a few miles in any direction to hit up another one. **UPDATE (9/18/17) Been coming to this location for 20+ years. It still has that small town feel and pride but lacks the ability to keep up with the ever growing town. **

I called again tonight to check the status, as the app shows it as "unavailable." The representative stated they are still waiting on a shipment. When I explained that I would need to contact my doctor due to the delay, the call was abruptly disconnected. Being hung up on while trying to manage an important prescription is extremely unprofessional and reflects poorly on the level of care being provided. Patients should not have to deal with uncertainty, lack of communication, and disrespect when it comes to their medication. I would appreciate a follow-up regarding this situation, including what steps your team will take to ensure this does not happen again to other patients. It should have been communicated last week that the medication might not be available, allowing me to make other arrangements. While you may be dependent on your supplier, patients should not be placed in the same position due to poor communication and lack of transparency.
