Some cashiers take your product as if you had contraband. I find customer service lacking at this H-E-B. The cashier manager is managed by her cashiers. Corey in the meat market is kind , friendly and approachable. All in all I strongly feel that HEB corporate allows bad service towards its customers. It's a most degrading feeling to be treated so rudely. Corporate does not answer complaints as they refer the customer back to the store employees. MS Butt would most likely be very disappointed to see how customers are treated nowadays. Service was always great in the last 50 years. Now, degrading!!! One of them is prescribed by one doctor for one issue, and the other by another doctor for a seperate issue. Both doctors are aware of the others prescription. Recently, HEB would not fill one of them because they called the wrong doctors office and were told that they didn't prescribe it. The prescription bottle has the name an number of the prescribing doctor on it. Is it that hard to read? So I start making phone calls and am trying to get it sorted out AGAIN. I get that there may be interactions between medications, but when you look at my history you can see that I have been on the 2 meds for wuite some time, yet here I am sorting out the confusion of the pharmacy.

We headed right for the meat counter and picked up some thick cut pork chops, wedding sausage, and Kosciusko (sp?) sausage. It was all great. Like many other Texans, I made my COVID-19 vaccine appointment through HEB's main website (vaccine.heb.com). After finding a spot available at this pharmacy, I filed out all the information and received a confirmation email. When I got to the pharmacy, the staff was super friendly and already had my name on file. They asked me to fill out an additional form and answered all of our questions related to the Pfizer vaccine. The staff was very nice and even gave my husband additional information on how he could get his vaccine (he is not part of group 1A, 1B or 1C). In just a few minutes I was called to separate room to get my pfizer vaccine and received some additional paperwork with information on side effects. Thank you to the staff for their hard work and for getting Texans vaccinated!

After more than 10 minutes, someone finally came out only to say they were closed and I'd have to come back in the morning. No apology, no attempt to fix the situation, and the manager Jonathan handled it with zero urgency or professionalism. If your team wants to close early, stop accepting pickup orders you clearly don't plan on fulfilling.

It's way more "manageable" than bigger H-E-Bs, & while they might not have the obscure organics or artisanal offerings of a Central Market or other H-E-B's, this store is a hidden gem. The shelves are always stocked, the aisles are always clear, & the associates are always happy & quick to help. I pretty much know where everything is, but the few times I've wandered aimlessly looking for something, fellow shoppers -- mostly older & wiser -- have helped me find whatever it is I'm hunting down. I've always preferred small grocery stores to large ones, & I really have a soft spot for this one. Maybe because I grew up in the area, or maybe I just like how leisurely a shopping trip here is; I enjoy my time spent here, & I think it's a nice change of pace from the Walmarts & Targets of the world. A pro-tip: the H-E-B app is a great help for a store as condensed as this one (& any H-E-B in general). It tells you aisle by aisle if they have something you want in stock, so you can save time, gas, & energy if you need something in a pinch.
