I have repeatedly ordered live nightcrawlers through Walmart delivery only to receive containers of dead worms. Those deliveries appear to come from a different Walmart location, so unfortunately this seems to be happening across multiple stores. This particular location was especially bad. The refrigerator was completely full with approximately 25-30 containers of dead or dying worms. I went through at least half of them just to find three containers with worms that were still somewhat alive. The refrigerator appears to be set too cold and is freezing them. Customers have been stacking containers of dead worms on top of the refrigerator after opening them and finding them decomposing. What bothered me most was that someone had gone through the trouble of putting refrigerator baking soda inside to absorb the smell while leaving the dead worms sitting there rotting. If the odor is bad enough that a deodorizer is needed, the obvious solution should be to remove the dead inventory, clean the refrigerator and correct the temperature. Not cover the smell while continuing to leave dead bait inside. When I brought it to an associate's attention, he said he did not know who handled it. I asked him to call a manager, so what I believe was a shift lead came over with two other associates. After seeing the condition of the refrigerator, all I was told was, "I'll talk to my manager. Thank you for letting me know. I'm sorry." I appreciate the apology, but considering the amount of decomposing inventory and the fact that someone clearly already knew about the odor, I expected someone to immediately begin removing the dead containers. Customers should not repeatedly receive dead bait through delivery or have to open container after container of decomposing worms inside the store just to find something usable. Walmart needs to address how live bait is being stored across its locations, but this store needs immediate attention because of the amount of dead inventory being left in that refrigerator. read more

Stopped by to get new automotive battery and look at some headphones. The customer service staff said my Tahoe could use any H7 battery when I specifically told them I needed an AGM battery. They said I didn't need the platinum battery they offered and insisted I didn't need the battery that my vehicle is supposed to have. They didn't even look for it. So I went to check out headphones and Kathy must have been having a bad day as she didn't want to show me the box for the headphones. I would have never though that I'd give Walmart all the stars. And yet, I did! I was so impressed with the cleanliness and products available! As I was browsing through aisles, I noticed so many different brands and products, it was incredible. Mind you, I normally stay in my Kroger bubble because I live right up the street from it. I even told my hubby when I got home that I should start shopping at Walmart again because they have everything and their brands are just amazing. I used scan and go because I only had a few items, which I did end up needing assistance for a price check. The cashier was kind enough, I don't think he spoke English too well but he was helpful! My first time using WalMart pick up service. I ordered and paid online, received and email that my order was ready and arrived to pick up. I followed instructions, parked at n the Pick Up area and called the number and provided my name and order number. I was told that they would bring my order out. The staff came out and told me that I would have to go inside to pay It is was already paid for so I asked it to be brought out. They did and it took an extra 15 minutes. This could be a convenient service but they need to work the bugs out and train their team more so that it goes smoothly. Tried to purchase 45 $20 gift cards for our Housekeeping team to celebrate Housekeeping Week at our hotel. Was denied but more than that, Loss Prevention was called and said "We know what your trying to do..." implying that there were ulterior motives involved. I am furious and appalled by the way the staff behaved. A simple phone call to the hotel would have confirmed the transaction was legitimate but that did not happen. I use the curbside pickup at this location quite a bit. Friendly employees but I wish they would schedule more employees during busy times. If I go during a time that's busy I could end up waiting for almost thirty minutes for my order because they do not have enough workers. Overall the orders are filled accurately. There was one order I had though that was missing about 30% of it, but I was able to get a refund. read more

So my review isn't for the Walmart Super-center as a whole, but rather the pharmacy. I got to the Walmart pharmacy at like 8:59 PM. they close at 9 PM, so they were getting ready to close. They had received my prescription for two required meds (allergies that turned into chest crud) to help easy my suffering. They not only stopped what they were doing to help me, but didn't act like I was a jerk for coming there during close (which I was, but I really didn't want to wait another day to feel better). All five of the staff members there were friendly and they processed and filled my two prescriptions. Again, what was amazing to me I thought his day and age was that there was no negativity or bad attitude on the part of the staff. I went to the only open registers as soon as they called last call and I was at the register at 11:00 PM to check out. I kept trying to figure out how to get to the register as there was no open entrance, at 11:03 I asked the 2 rude teens chatting it up near self check out. There were 5 other people already on registers checking out and the staff refuse to let me make my purchase of 2 items.! And then when I asked if they were serious, both of the cashiers just started rolling their eyes, being beyond rude said yes is a loud rude tone, then turned their backs. Again, the self check out had five other people already on the registers checking out, and they would not let me check myself out with my two items! Why can the other customers check out, but I cannot?? I would have been doing their job checking myself out, it caused them no time or effort to let me check myself out as the other shoppers were doing! Me dropping my items where I stood and walking out, wasted their time as someone has to restock those items. Walmart is like a necessity of life. Even when I don't want to come here, it sucks me in like a vortex because they have *everything* and despite the size of the store, relative inconvenience of grocery items and pharmacy items (it always seems like I need one of each of these on a short trip and they are across the store from each other), Walmart is irresistibly packed with good deals on things I need. So, here I am for the thousandth time, and finally getting around to writing a yelp review. The store is on the cleaner and more organized end of Walmart superstores. Beyond that it's pretty much what you expect. Walmart offers a valuable service, obviously since they practically rule the world. I've had a generally positive experience at this location. I have higher expectations for a Walmart or Super Walmart than I would a neighborhood Walmart. While this store is great in size and has a high variety of products it is often under stocked for the amount of people who shop in the area. A new Walmart opened up on Golden Triangle/Vista but because this one is more convenient because you pass it on the way home after exiting the freeway it remains the busier store. The baby section for lotions and balms were practically empty. The focus here has gone to Christmas as it is only mid-October and they have Toys and Christmas decorations dominating the store. Meanwhile the product is mid grade to going bad. Strawberries are practically bruised and old the day they are put out and the section with cheese is only 40% stocked. The isles are a mess and trying to find help at this location is tough to non existent. It would be easier to walk into the stockroom and look for something than it is to spot someone for help. And even if you spot someone they walk away telling you they will call somebody for your section and surprise nobody shows up. The isles in the grocery area were rearranged and they have construction going on in the dairy isle. So even if you did find somebody they are practically just as lost as you are. There is a struggle to hire people - The Amazon Effect. Everybody from fast restaurants, gas stations and even Walmart are hiring but with no luck. Do something quick please. read more

This used to be the best Walmart for years. We gradually opted for other stores because it just kept going downhill. Tonight, we stopped in because it was close by after dinner. What a huge mistake. Whoever manages this mess has zero consideration for customers, employees or any form of life. Their only priority is steamrolling to installing self scan stations. The deafening equipment and 20-30 construction workers was so far beyond acceptable I don't know where to begin. We understand they wish to convert the store but utilizing this loud equipment and subjecting customers and employees to horrible levels of equipment noise is inconsiderate beyond comprehension. We will never return to this location and will probably eliminate Walmart from stores we shop at. Greed at this level is disgraceful. So my Explorer needs a new battery. After checking AutoZone and O'Reilly, and coming up with the same price, I decided to check Wal-Mart (I came across a battery review for Wal-Mart batteries and it was favorable). Unfortunately the prices of automotive batteries are not listed on line, but since I knew it had a longer warranty (3 years replacement vs. 2 at AutoZone and O'Reilly, though the later pro-rate the next several additional years), I decided to call and get a price. The price was $16 dollars less (around $100, with a core charge of $10, vs. $12), so I went for it. I would have gone four stars, but it bugs me the info was not available via the website, but the guy that helped me on the phone was very helpful (he works in sporting goods but checked on the battery for me, which included looking it up in catalog by the batteries). So kudos for that. Bottom line: If you need an inexpensive automotive battery, it might be worth your time to check Wal-Mart. read more

The staff are not friendly, but that can happen at any store. If you come here be prepared to wait in line to check out. If you return an item, you'll have to wait in the customer service line. They say it is about first impressions... well they definitely made a first impression with me. I used the Walmart Grocery Drive Up service today, not only did they give me $10 off a $50 order with code NEWYOU10, they gave me a goodie bag with a starbucks bottle coffee, samples of haribo, cheese crackers, kind bar and several other items in a small reusable grocery bag. Best of all the service is free. I placed my order over the weekend for pick up today at 1PM. They called me at 12:10 to say it was ready to go when I was. I got ready and drove down to pick it up. When I got there you call them and they come out. You read over the receipt... they upgraded a couple of items because they were out of the item I ordered so they gave me a more expensive option for the same price. Once I agreed with everything she asked for a signature and where I wanted it loaded. I advised the backseat and she proceeded to load it up while making small talk and being very friendly. Overall I was overly impressed with this option from Walmart. I highly suggest it. But after I spent $131.16 he asked to see my ticket as I was leaving the store because I had large items that were not in bags. As I did the self-checkout, the employee watched me. That's fine. But being asked to see my proof of purchase as I leave is wrong. I know Walmart has been doing this for years but it needs to stop. You treat your customers like criminals! It's ridiculous. this concerns the Walmart supercenter on Oakmont Boulevard. i've been shopping there for about three years. The positive is that the grocery stocking is pretty good that I can find gluten-free and some specialty items. The main problem is that the section with facial products and cosmetics. There is a register at that section, and in order to buy those things, you have to check out separately. Sometimes there is a cashier there, sometimes not. Apparently this is to prevent shoplifting. I was there recently, and I was annoyed (again) because the cashier was there and I had to pay for an eight dollar item separately; the previous time there was no one there. I said some thing to the cashier about the inconsistency, and she was snippy with me. so that is the last time in that store for me. I often spend around $130 each time I do my grocery shopping and I don't have to put up with having to run my credit card twice and a mouthy employee. I'll find another grocery store. read more

I can't stand Walmart.com as they don't care about the customer. They don't deliver the items on time and sometimes they cancel your delivery. It's a waste of time. You sit and wait for two days for a late delivery and all of a sudden you get a text saying that it was cancelled by the Walmart store because they couldn't find a driver willing to deliver. They've pulled this on me several times and when you call to complain they don't have the authority to fix it. They don't have any power to fix anything. The only thing they are able to do is give 10 dollar promo codes. And being a Walmart plus member doesn't help anything at all. Save your money and your time, go into the store or shop elsewhere. Okay, So I actually can't stand Wal Mart, but I have to give them props today and most days because no one forces me to go there. I am cool with them today because I had a long day, needed to grocery shop for a few items, and get the heck out fast and home. Well they had every item I was looking for, and as usual, the hypnotic mind control they use made me put more items in my cart than I went in for. How do they do it? Anyway, got to the register, did not use self serve because I had waaaaay too many items by then. Found an aisle with no one in it. Light was on, cashier was standing there as if to say, I was waiting for you, and only you. I was like, me? Psshaw. Go on. Anyway, that was my end of it because I never get to an aisle and see no one in line, belt empty and clean. Did I mention the belt didn't have a trail of meat juices on it? It was clean. I wish I kept my receipt because the cashier deserved to be recognized. I usually toss them out of utter disgust with myself giving the Walton's yet another payment on, Who the heck am I kidding? None of us alone can afford a payment on anything in their lives. Hhahahahaha, I am tripping. Back to the cashier, she smiled the whole time and was ringing and bagging faster than I could put items on the belt. By the time my eggs and bread hit the belt, my last items, the rest was bagged and ready to go. She even helped me load the cart because I was trying to get my debit card in the reader. went to purchase a speaker and paid $72 for the speaker itself for my daughter. I went through self check out and after scanning my groceries and speaker the speaker being the last thing I would put in my buggy! I did bag it but as I went to pay, I had a gift card that wouldn't go through so a supervisor came tries to enter it to no avail so she said I had to go to the customer service and she would re- ring me and I could leave my items there! I put the speaker in the bag and I didn't put it in my cart due to the supervisors distraction trying to use my barcode off my phone! my daughter was behind me and she proceeded to ring her two items which she did not use a bag and she didn't notice my speaker in the bag turnstile. I came back after being taken to customer service so that the supervisor could get the access to my gift card and I went home. I realized after getting home I didn't have the speaker. i immediately called Walmart to see if they had it they said no however I could come up and they would check cameras and so I did! The manager did check the cameras after I waited 45 min. and he came over to me and said!!! we did see you buy the speaker and place it in the bag but you forgot to put it in your cart and yea you did pay for it however the man after you saw the bag (speaker ) bag and he took it He "STOLE" it from the store and because he the customer stole it from me and from inside the store it's not their problem!!!! now, I shop there three to four times a week and I am from a military family and I support local businesses so when I was told it's not their problem and that if the customer stole it directly from the store it would be different but because I paid for it and it was left behind and I have proof I paid for it they also have him on camera stealing it they said not their problem!!! On 11/22/2021 I visited store 2980- Terminal #SC011244 I purchased 20 items when I got home I discovered two items were missing out of my bag totaling $16.35 plus tax. So I called the store to speak to customer service but was transferred to online ship to store orders. I called back was placed on hold for 10 minutes then placed on hold again for the front lead Bonny lead to come on the phone, she refused to let me speak to the store manager after I requested 3 times. I proceeded to Explain the situation and told her and told her that I disable and could not come back to the store but I have my receipt and can give her all the info off of it. She never requested any information from my receipt. She did not offer to ship my missing items and also refused to refund my missing items after I explained to her that I was disable from my recent surgery her response was that whenever I got a ride I can bring my receipt to the store. Customer service is terrible for disabled customers. She did not rectify the issue nor did she even check to see if my bag was brought to Customer Service. Going forward I will be shopping at Target. Although their prices are higher the customer service is way better you really get what you pay for. read more

I hate everything about Walmart. I usually try to avoid going to Walmarts all together but somehow find myself going here to pick up things like cleaning supplies. The service at this location sucks. Everytime I ask an employee for the location of certain items they either don't understand what I'm saying or are completely clueless. They have 10+ employees wandering the store doing nothing and have maybe 3 lanes open for checkout. How do you have so many people working here, yet the store is a mess and unorganized. Even though the Walmart in North Richland Hills is a bit further from me, I'd rather drive the extra 8 minutes than go to this location. Not to mention....so many creeps come here. This isn't toward this store but the Walmart online marketplace. They screwed up my order, a Christmas tree. The package arrived, a music keyboard and stand. After lengthy telephone conversation I have to send the keyboard back to Best Products. After they receive the mis-shipped keyboard at their location, they will reship the Christmas tree. BUT their ship time is 7-10 days after the keyboard is received. Turn around time will be pretty close to Christmas if not after. Their customer service person demonstrated a nice " who cares " attitude. She refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor to come to a better solution. I finally requested a refund, delivered the keyboard to my local fedex office and ordered another Christmas tree from Amazon. Walmart will never see me or my money again. read more

I have a serious love hate relationship with any Wallie World. This is a nicer one. Way too big honestly. I don't have much good to say about any Wallie World staff. Not lazy, always working, overwhelmed, underpaid, and they don't normally seem happy to be at work. Can't say I blame them honestly. They aren't in a system set up for success. I've been in and out of Walmarts my whole life and I always leave a bit rattled. They do have wild caught shrimp for a decent price, that is one of the reasons I keep going back.
