The pharmacist on duty (Samantha) refused to fill her prescription because she was "busy". She said she may be able to do it the next afternoon. I explained that my wife just had surgery, and the doctor wanted her to take these meds because of the magnitude of the surgery. The pharmacist (Samantha), she had the medications but would not fill her prescriptions. I asked her (Samantha) if another CVS pharmacy would be willing to fill my wife's prescription tonight, and Samantha stated she "doesn't know" and she would not contact any of the pharmacies to find out. I went across the street to the pharmacy located in Publix and they filled my wife's prescription prescriptions within 10 minutes and was very helpful. I can relate to being busy at work since I am a First Responder (federally) and even with me not getting paid, I still do my best to help people, even when I am busy. I do believe there is a better way to articulate why you can't do something as compared to why you don't want to do something. I would not go to this CVS, especially to Samantha, given my experience. And now i have had the issue of calling last week because script needed to have the doctor to call in more refills because they would be out by no later than wed or Thursday. They will not fill it a day ahead at all. So i called and asked for them to get it so that way i would have it. So i call today and they lie to me on the phone and said they did and they had not heard from the doctor. However, i have seen the email from them and they never asked for this medication they only asked for an inhaler so now i am having to wait til Monday per cvs. This is not a pharmacy that i would use at all. You can get better service for sure at star market in meridianville or carters at Stonebridge or even Walgreens for that matter. People need to realize old pharmacy's need to get there stuff together or shut down. It does not take rocket scientist.

She stated mine very loudly and some other lady in the pharmacy turned around and stared directly at me. She's also very very rude. I got yelled at instead of asked for my name and date of birth as well. Which of course she said back to me out loud to confirm. She should've screamed my social security number while she was at it. The CVS a little ways down Winchester towards Publix is MUCH cleaner and nicer, less of a pain to get out of the parking lot, and the pharmacists will treat you better. Because the prescriptions were from a doctor/establishment "out of town". I would like to point out that these medications are not controlled/narcotic substances and that "out of town" includes Birmingham, AL (which is an hour and a half from this pharmacy). After 15 minutes of waiting in the drive thru, holding up the line (during which I'm sure the pharmacist called the doctor's office and spoke to the prescriber to verify everything was legitimate) the pharmacy technician returned to the window and told me it'd cost about $18 for both medications and it'd be 20-30 minutes before I could pick them up. All things considered, I'd go here again.

Several pharmacists have told me someone will be with me soon. I have heard them discussing how none of them want to give vaccines. Also they have been discussing plans for a party. So far I am still standing at the counter staring at them and wondering why there is a system for making appointments.

On night shift register manned by cursing belligerent, rude and unprofessional female employee who apparently has no home training- avoid this place at night. Male employees helpful but no manager on duty and out of control female employee spouts "get the fuck out" and apparently takes prides on self righteously correcting customers on THEIR attitude despite being rude and non helpful herself. Pay cash and there are no refunds, only a money card you must spend in a CVS store. Credit card? May be the same, but careful now they have your info. Lost receipt - they want to take a picture of your id. Over the last few years, CVS has struggled with declining profit margins at its retail pharmacies, and this may be part of the problem. More training or better employee selection could possibly help but best bet is to just avoid - especially the Madison Pike store! Bad scene.
