Slowly getting better every other department, all except Fresh. Tried to buy fresh vegetables and fruits recently, everything disgusting and just passing by you get hit by rotting smell. Meats were unkept for the longest time but this past few days, it has more things and better dates. Sometimes they still struggle with the chicken being all puffed up (all that bacteria growing). Grocery is getting better, I Anjou finding more of the things I need. It's less the times it's empty. Everything else so far is not as bad, some empty shelves here and there on the other side of the store, but I have seen the difference. I will not include the cashier's because they have enough on their plate. What's happening is not their fault, it's the results of some customers actions. There's a lot of amazing employees (not bosses, those are 50/50). The employees are always willing to stop what they are doing to help us. Most of them knowing well what you need and where it is without looking it up. Even found others employees that will translate and if they don't know how to communicate, they'll figure out something, but won't give up until the customer get the things they are looking for. Honestly it's been way better. I don't know what or whom is doing the changes, but there's better results. Maybe they are reading these and actually paying attention to their customers reviews. read more

Teach your cashier Francisco how to bag groceries. Your produce is terrible . Your brown sugar is hard as a rock. And your online shoppers are incredibly rude pushing their giant baskets blocking the isles. There isn't one good thing about Heber Walmart. Also half of your associates don't even speak English! I travel a lot for work & I always end up at the Walmart closest to my Hotel. As a result I've seen a whole lot of Walmarts. This location was exceptional. The store was so clean & straight. The women's department was the best I've ever been in. Love the way it's set up. The grocery department was so straight & full. There were two young people, Stephanie and Trey, I encountered as they were getting off & they were still so friendly. All the associates were so nice. Whoever is doing the training at this location needs to pass their secret's around to the other stores. I highly recommend this location. read more

Horrible service. They wouldn't let me make one return even though I got there before closing. The worker literally slammed the door on me and refused to even listen to me. I go here almost every day and the staff is friendly and the store is clean. It is a small Walmart, so some of these reviews I have read are RIDICULOUS.l, because they are expecting the selection of a Super Walmart. I can't imagine getting that upset over the tiniest things. I will agree that sometimes they don't have things in stock, but that is not unusual for most stores I go to, regardless of company or location. Also, I grew up in this town, and until about 10 years ago, you had to drive to Park City, Provo, or Salt Lake for most things. So to me, it's a luxury to only have to drive 2 minutes to get everything on my shopping list. The asshole who got pissed because the "challenged" cashier took forever needs to re-evaluate his life. Again, I go here almost every day and have never had an issue. I think you get back out of life what you put into it, and I have always been treated with kindness when I go to this store. I usually will not go into this store because I always end up writing a bad review. It is not just a poorly run Walmart it is one of the most poorly run stores that I have been in. You are lucky to get half of the items that you go in to get. Unfortunately, our insurance had us change to the Walmart pharmacy because it is less expensive. If you get more than 2 prescriptions they will be out of at lest one every time. This time by the time the 3rd one came in I was gone on vacation. I was not going to go there and not get all 3 prescriptions. I got several texts saying the first 2 were done and then 3 days later the 3rd was done. When I got home They told me there was only 1 to pick up and argued that I did not get texts for the first 2 even though I showed them the texts. I had to wait for them to be filled. We are changing back to our old pharmacy and will pay the difference. Whoever orders for the pharmacy is just as bad as the person that orders for the store. read more

Went here for a oil change, made an appointment and waited 2 hours for the job to be done. Mechanic afterward mentioned he could not reset my VW to no longer indicate it needed an oil change and placed a sticker on my windshield stating that it needed another oil change in less than 2,000 miles??? Doubting what exactly transpired during my servicing and would not recommend stopping here for car services. read more

This has been the dirtiest Walmart I've ever been in. So glad we are only passing through! Picked up a bag of chips that were stuck to the shelf, tried the next bag, same thing, ick! The shelves were not stocked with much, there were products just thrown on shelves or even in the freezer sections. There were people stocking the place who were not very kind and had empty boxes everywhere so you could barely walk down the isle. Just very weird! Never been in a Walmart that was so cramped and so disorganized as well as actually dirty. It's very deceiving as the outside of the store looks beautiful, with plants well positioned and organized then you go in and start trying to shop and BAM!! My expectations for Walmart's is already pretty low, but this one is particularly bad. Always out of stock with limited selection. You always have to check expiration dates on food items because they will likely expire the day of purchase. They just sold me a used item. I would like also give a 0 ,we had almost $200.00 worth of food and the checker a young Asian gal messed up on the dept card machine, she was not able to clear it and would not sell the items to us, the night manager came over and was no help at all, she was also Asian. only one checker on duty at 8 pm. we had no choice but to walk out and leave our food there .what ever she did on the register locked me out of my bank card. Would give 0 stars if possible, ordered tires on a Thursday, was told they would be here Friday, when I called to confirm that my order had arrived I was told that they didn't order anything because the lady on the phone didn't inquire about a address and a callback number, when I provided this information over the phone I was told that they'd get them on the way. I arrived at the tire and lube center after calling ahead and ended up taking the tires and installing them myself. I sat for over an hour and they never even touched the trailer/notified me that they weren't going to be able to get to it. I'm sure the guys working there are great but there's obviously no sense of customer service or quality control. Won't be back. read more

If you are going to post hours that say you are closing at 6 maybe you should abide by that. People depend on you being open when you say you are going to be. I was there at 5:45 and was rudely directed away from the door. I had things to pick up and was not allowed to enter the store. I shop here 3 or 4 times a week and that is going to change now after how rude I was treated. If you want to close earlier maybe you should have posted your hours to reflect that. I had a tire blow out past Evanston, I put my spare on and drove to the Heber City Walmart. I pulled into the tire center at 6:50 and Joe came from the tire center, even though they were about to close. He looked at my situation and told me he could put on a new tire. After 30 minutes past 7:00, Joe and Ernest were finished installing my tire. These men did an exceptional job and deserve to to recognized. read more

I came here because we made an impromptu journey to the lake and didn't have towels or bathing suits or beef jerky to consume. So we got it here. And WalMart provided it at a cheap price. I ordered 4 tires online at Walmart.com and when I received the e mail confirming that the tires had arrived at the store I called to confirm and they told me they only had two of the tires and to call back the next day to see if the other two had arrived. When I called to find out if the other two tires arrived they kept putting me on hold and then transferred me 3 times and finally the phone just kept ringing and ringing. Not one person at this Walmart in Heber City could tell me if ALL 4 of the tires I had ordered were there. The customer service in this store really stinks! I've lived in Heber for quite some time, and only go here because it is adjacent to my apartment complex. The service here is just an atrocity (I stop by here every morning for a drink before school, and there's always that one asshole who aggressively tells me to get rid of my backpack), and they're never there when you need them. The food here is either expired or about to expire, and they just overstock on shit that people don't need. I can't go to Smith's or anywhere else because they're too far to walk, and I don't own a car, so I'll have to keep going to this shitty Walmart location until I move back to California. I used to fill my prescriptions at Smith's pharmacy in Heber City; however, since they refused to match a discount offered by GoodRX, I switched to the pharmacy at Walmart in Heber and am so glad I did. They have a great staff, including both pharmacists and other staff, particularly Kate, who has been a tremendous help. They're friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I reinstalled Yelp so I could write this review. Worst service I've ever had with any company. I was back in the electronic section and needed someone. Used the electronic paging device at the counter nobody showed for about 10 minutes. Finally went to customer service nobody was there so went to a checker. They acknowledged me and said someone will be with you shortly. Went back was there for about another 5 minutes or so. Go back up front there was 4 cashiers standing at one with one manager counting money while all the others were standing looking at someone's phone all laughing. The first cashier I spoke with the first time looked up and me and went back to her friends laughing. I spoke up to the manager and said that the person should be back there. Went there nobody. Still. 3rd time going up front now I've lost my cool about to leave the manager finally calls on the pager. I go back and some kid comes out reeking of weed baggy pants comes out of the back and says "what's up dude sorry man was on my break" I still went on being polite and finished getting what I needed but refuse to go there anymore. read more
