It's a good Walmart! It is nice and clean inside, but the outside is definitely a bit sketchy! Lots of homeless people at the entrance and as you make your way into the shopping parking lot. There is lots of parking. Once you are inside, this location is definitely clean, well maintained, and organized. Things are tidy, nothing on the floor, very pleasant visit. A usual Super Walmart, they have lots of products, lots of options. They have a McDonald's inside, nail salon, and a hair cut place! Very convenient! read more

I've been shopping at the Walmart Supercenter on 103rd Street since I was a child, and unfortunately, it has gone downhill over the years. The inside of the store is fine. It's clean, and the employees are actively moving and replenishing products on the shelves. I was able to find some of the items I was looking for without any issues. However, I didn't get greeted or asked if I needed assistance by anyone while I was in the store. I was circling around, so I would have thought someone would notice and offer help. There are a TON of lanes to checkout but only a few cashiers. It's disappointing that they have a bunch of self-checkout lanes, but they don't have them all open. So, you're going to spend a long time in line to check out. They have someone to check receipts at the exit points. The lady working this section appeared to be on the phone with Bluetooth earbuds hidden under her hair. I don't think she really checked my items because she seemed to be in a hurry to get back to her conversation. Shopping here during the day isn't too bad, and the security measures in the parking lot are a plus. However, the lack of customer service and the long wait times at checkout are significant drawbacks. read more

Why are my mother and I being laughed at by three (3) Walmart employees for pronouncing 'sewing' wrong in English? We speak three languages, and our English is conversational, nobody has ever had a problem with it, not even at work; but these three ladies made us feel terrible laughing at us and repeating what we said. Such bad customer service by people that only speak one language, and who at the end of the day DID NOT point us towards the right department. Awful experience, your employees should be a little nicer towards paying customers, especially ones who aren't rude and are trying their best to communicate. read more

I went into Walmart on 103rd to refill a water bottle I left with nothing. I asked them to roll back the cameras and find my bottle. They only went back to when I went and got a random bottle( with no top) and I thought to myself this ain't my bottle and I need a top. So I immediately got an associate who didn't care at all about my needs of what happened. I eventually got to management who did a minut job at looking at me entering into Walmart with a jug in a cart, but after tonight I'm just going to get a lawyer. My problem is, if you steal from Walmart you will be caught they have cameras in the mirrors in the bathrooms, but when it came to a consumer. No answer, just a few police telling me the jug that I didn't bring into the store with out a cap is still back there if I want it. I said, " fine where's a cap" back to square 1. So as I stated previously I walk into Walmart with a jug to refill it, only to have the jug the stolen by an associate with no remorse. I bet if they read this they will find my five gallon jug in a cart in the back where customers like myself can't go. If I could do negative stars I would! It doesn't matter which Walmart you use they always mess up. I have them deliver my groceries and there is always something wrong. I asked for lettuce and I get cabbage. I asked for non fat milk and I get 1%. Is it really that hard to grab the correct item? Now I have to go to the store to buy the correct item. read more

UPDATE: I went back up to the store and a manager was able to confirm that the tires were in store and I got a refund. So I changed it to 2 Stars. I ordered some tires online and had the delivered to the store to be installed. I came to my 10 AM appointment on time 2 1/2 hours later they inform me, they don't have a part to install the tires. A woman insists that I have to contact Walmart.com to do a return and refuse to scan the item for return in store. I contact them and come to find out the tires can't be returned over the phone for Walmart.com. 5 days later, the tires are missing and they are still telling me to return. I went back to the store the next day and the barcode is invalid. I'm not a regular Walmart shopper and after this experience they will NEVER get my business again. Too many competitors. read more

This is a review for the auto care center. I went in to get my oil changed and tires rotated, I got a call after the oil had been changed over an hour later, and I was told that they could not rotate my tires due to the tread being too worn. My husband had recently inspected the tires, and the tread was not an issue. I went back to the auto care center and said I would just like to finish up the oil change and leave, I was handed the paperwork for the oil change, and it explicitly said in the paperwork, "Walmart is not responsible to check tire tread" among other similar items. I thought about bringing it up, but I decided it would just be better to go to another auto care location to get my tires rotated. read more

I usually do my grocery shopping here because it's closest to my home, It's not the Cleanest location I have been to however it's not the filthiest. I'm not a fan of grocery shopping but the app makes it so convenient. The app sends you notifications when certain items are not available but if you don't respond they substitute without permission. I feel like they should probably just do without. Other than that the stuff is organized and sometimes gives me 2 of what I order for the price of one. There's only been once occasion that I've had to wait over an hour to get my groceries but other than that it's pretty prompt if I check in before. I really appreciate that I can just pick my groceries up. This specific location is usually KNOWN to not have multiple things on my list. The orange park location is my favorite thus far. read more

They recently built another Walmart not too far from this location which means the foot traffic here has declined. They do have security circling the parking lot but it does not stop the panhandlers from asking for 'change' or someone has ran out of gas and need money to get back to the other side of town. I like coming here because this Walmart's layout is not as confusing as the new one. This one also has a McDonald's while the other one does not. Aside from being in a 'bad' area I don't have many negatives to say about this Walmart. Customer Service is terrible at any one you go to and this includes their checkout lines. read more

Walmart is one of those stores I know a lot of people despise. And there are days I can definitely agree- today being one of them. I went to return a Christmas T-shirt purchased the day after Christmas. However, I was told that "this store" doesn't accept seasonal items after the season. Where is this posted??? Behind the customer service desk there is a sign stating that they accept returns within 90 days of receipt. Clearly my return met that requirement. Spoke to a manager and was informed that this particular policy is the store managers policy and a different Walmart might accept the return. What?? Since when do different Walmart's have different policies?? The employees I encountered during my visit weren't friendly at all. I smiled at several I saw at not one response or even hello. I would love to say I'll never shop at Walmart again but I know that's unlikely. However, I can definitely say I'm not shopping at this particular Walmart again! read more

This is my first time to this walmart and I had a terrible experience. i was acosted by a homeless man who then pushed a cart into my son for no reason. Luckily the security guards chased him but not before he started groping himself in front and f me and my son. Then when I went into the store I felt like everybody was staring at me. Sure, I didn't look like most people there but that still was no reason to stare. Although the products were orderly on the shelves and the store was clean I just felt nervous the whole time there. Frustrated and hopeful. I placed an order for pick up between 4-5 on 12/4 . Well that didn't come close to happening for a variety reasons and with that being said is why I am hopeful that the following will assist in improving the pick up order department. I rec'd and email advising the order is delayed at 2:06 and stated i will be notified when ready for pick up . Now let's fast forward to 6:41 ready for pick up. 15 min later dealt with parking issue , app issues and customer service issues. So I haven't been inside one of these stores in over a decade this expensive reminded me why. It started with an online order of 23 items of which I received an e mail stating that everything was out of stock. I didn't believe this so I went there in person and took pictures of everything that I'd ordered online that they said they where out of. Most of the items would have required a key to get I believe this be purely and solely due to a lazy employee that was tasked with putting my items together I know they have to keep at least one of certain items for in-store purchases I took this into consideration so I took pictures of all the items out of the items that I ordered that they said they were out of I am not emailing them to corporate hopefully there won't be as many lazy employees. read more

Definitely not one of the better Walmart stores I've shopped at, but it's closest to my home so I frequent this location most often. The good: *For the most part, the employees here are really friendly and helpful. This is not usually the norm at Walmart stores, so it's absolutely a positive! On many different occasions, I've had employees go out of their way to help me find items and even go in the back in search of items. *applause* That pretty much wraps up the good, so now.... The bad: *There are no self check-out isles. This is a huge pain in the butt b/c when I have just a few items, I want to get in and out. Boo! *The store is not open 24/7 - it closes every night at midnight. We're night owls and use to do all of our shopping in the middle of the night. This is no longer possible. Boo! *They are constantly out of items I need. Not obscure items, but things they should have in abundance such as diet mountain dew, tomato sauce, mac & cheese, etc. Those are just a few items I could think of off the top of my head they have been out of before. It never fails that ever time I go into this particular Walmart, they are out of at least 2-3 items I need. I then have to trek to Winn Dixie or Publix and pay a higher fee. Boo! *They never, ever, ever have enough registers open. They'll have 3-4 of the 20 item or less registers open and then like 2 regular lines open. I wasn't born with a lick of patience; therefore, I don't "do" waiting. Boo! I think that's about all the bitching I have to do about this Walmart. I'll still continue to shop here though (at least as long as I live in this area of town). read more

This Walmart might get a better rating if it were still open 24 hours, but alas a two star rating will have to do. The service here can be nonexistent at times (like most other Walmart locations), but when you can find an employee they're USUALLY helpful. Although, there have been times when I've tried to get help from an employee and have practically had to jump in their path to get his or her attention. And dear goodness, don't get me started on the customer service desk. The few times I've had to wait in this line I've had to return an item I've been tempted to just cut my losses and leave, as there is often no good service at this Service desk. read more

This is the worst Walmart in existence. I counted 43 people waiting in line and there was only one cashier who was over 100 years old and moved at a snails pace. I would never shop at this Walmart if it wasn't the closest one to my house. The employees here are lazy and rude. They come in late, forcing you to have to wait longer to pick up orders. You can stand in front of them or at the counter for several minutes while they walk around you, look at you and try to look away as quickly as they can to try to avoid contact, and joke around without acknowledging you. Most of the employees I've encountered have a rude, careless, and poor attitude. I have actually been told I can't return things to this store without a receipt because they are "commonly stolen items", when I have never stolen anything in my life, and the CS rep who told me this smiled at me as if I were guilty of stealing from the store. I get it. It's Walmart, and I shouldn't expect much. But today, I placed a pickup order, which I had to call about twice just to get the employees at the store to begin actively processing my order. The first time I called, I was told the person doing pickup orders wouldn't be in until 10AM. The second time I called, I was told that pickup order processing started at 8AM, and that I had to come in and sign in to a kiosk and wait in a designated area for someone to bring my item. Annoyed, I showed up at the store 10 minuted later and checked in. I waited for 10 minutes, and nothing. I went to the customer service desk where a single worker was doing absolutely nothing, told her I had checked in and had been waiting for several minutes, and she said she would page someone. Another 10 minutes later, two managers walked by me and asked me if I'd been helped. I told them what happened, and they proceeded to page someone to bring me my order, then walked away. Another 10 minutes later, a gentleman walked up to me and asked me if I'd been helped. I told him what had transpired so far, and he said "okay" and walked away. Several more minutes passed by before he came back, I told him I'd been waiting well over half an hour for someone to bring me my pickup order, and he finally said he would go get it for me. Meanwhile, another customer checked in and her items were brought to her before mine were brought to me. I wouldn't have minded as much if I hadn't waited for over four hours to get my items, and hadn't waited in the store at their stupid designated pickup area for nearly 45 minutes. Many employees in the store saw me, said nothing, or saw me and said they were doing something but never did. I am sick of being treated like I don't matter when I walk into a Walmart store in a "bad area" of Jacksonville. Truth be told, I can't wait to move out to this city and to a place where people know how to treat one another better than this. read more

S came to a point where their answer the phone and then hang up so the phone wouldn't ring. It's your horrible horrible horrible customer service when you come up there there's nobody even doing anything and when they do have a long line there's only one person handling the customer service! When you try to reach to human resources or even "leave them a message" Either they're not sending her the message or she's not getting back to you. I don't know what's going on but they need to really put people into the store that's going to actually do their job and I have people struggle I shouldn't have to leave my house to get in contact with the people and even when I go to the store I have to wait another 45 minutes what the fuck is going on. Tire center is terrible. The upper management has no interest in helping and act as if the customers are an annoyance. Tried to make a warranty claim on the 65k tires I bought. Less than 30k miles in them and they need to be replaced. They would not honor the warranty because I didn't have the tires balanced and rotated there. Asked for a manager and she never could bring herself out to talk to me. Got fed up and left. I would not recommend buying tired from here. Product is sub par and customer service stinks! read more

Hopefully you knew where items are...IF not they watch you search and when you approach them...they know nothing. NEVER not ever will you find an employee to SELL a fish in the PET department.
