This review i solely for Walmart Bakery manager. 5/12 at 12:24pm I called and spoke with a young lady asking am I able to out in a cake order for next day 5/13/25 and she said yes I could. She took all my information, said she found me in the system and took my cake order, she told me that my order will be ready at 2:00 pm on 5/13/25. At 12:28pm I received a text thanking me for my custom cake order. Here we are today my son's birthday and I get a text at 2:10 pm telling me my cake is ready and I head yo pick it up only to be told that I was no where in the system and had no cake and the manager was unapologetic and acted like she could care less. she was rude and had an oh well attitude. told me I put my cake order at another store which is a lie and made no attempt to get to the bottom of things. I called back up to have them check again was placed on hold and ended up on the phone with Deli and had deli walk the phone over to bakery. put on hold again and they kept picking up and placing me back on hold. Got on phone with a manager who talked over me and placed me on hold and never came back to it. read more

The security at Walmart on 103 rd is a loose cannon. He is very aggressive and belligerent , he tried to intimidate me when all I wanted was the district manager information. He did not want me to report him. read more

This review is strictly for my curbside pick up. I wanted a particular journal, but I did not want to fight the long self check out lines inside, so I decided to try the curbside pickup. Originally, I picked the Airport Road location, but the item was out. I decided to try the Lem Turner location. I ordered the journal on Sunday, but knew I would pick it up on Monday. No problem! They give you a 4 day window to pick items up. On Monday, I went to the busy Lem Turner location. The directions for for curbside was easy enough to find with the orange curbside signs. When I parked, a worker immediately came to check me in without me having to call or check in prior. It took less than 10 minutes to get my item, and I was out in record time. I'm excited to try this again with a load of grocery. I'm a big fan of curbside at other locations outside of Walmart. I hope the next experience with Walmart will be just as great as this one. read more

The parking lots wasn't overcrowded so it was decent the exterior was clean and tidy the greeter at the door was pleasant , but as I continued walking around in the sister the rest of th staff at that I had some interaction with wasn't so pleasant lol . No smiles it was my first time visiting this location and I didn't really know my way around the store and the employees weren't friendly or helpful. I will say that the Fall Selection for hats and gloves were on point ! So cute ! And we'll stocked . also the clearance sales are great items like t-shirts for 1dollar and jeans for under 20 bucks . And if you get hungry while shooting or looking around there's a Domino's inside of the location never seen that before , that's a nice little surprise. I have mixed emotions because the little surprises within the store were nice but the customer service could be a bit better . read more

Much better shopping experience. The store was very clean and neat. This is the closest Walmart near my home. However, I normally skip even looking for things there because they're not in stock. Today was much different. Everything was orderly, fully stocked and I'm very impressed. I will be returning more often. read more

Certainly not a favourite Walmart of mine, but I'll give it three stars for A-OK. I'm not a fan of the area of town this Walmart is in, but we find ourselves over here pretty often and sometimes it's just more convenient to pop in here rather than head up to River City Marketplace. I haven't done any major shopping here since they built the Walmart at River City years ago, so when I say "pop in," that's really all we ever do. We never really need more than 2-5 items when we stop here. One thing I do like about this store is that the aisles are really spaced out and everything is open, so it's very easy to move around. Everything is organized. We come to the deli here a good bit to get hot food items and all the ladies who work in the deli are really nice. If you need help anywhere else in the store, you'll likely have trouble finding assistance. Parking is always a pain at any Walmart, but it's even more of a pain here. This Walmart isn't open 24 hours. They open at 6am and close at midnight. I do feel safe shopping here at night because there's actually a small JSO hub located here. read more

My four star rating is based upon stores of similar size and price range not as a global whole. When you come to Walmart for groceries or other things you know you are going to Walmart and as such you should tailor your expectations to what you are going to get at Walmart. This isn't target and it certainly not nordstroms. As far as Walmart goes this one is pretty decent. There was a good supply of produce and meats and pretty much everything you could possibly need from the grocery store including some Hispanic foods and some Asian food. The deli has a hot food selection, the same as all Walmarts they have popcorn chicken and chicken wings and chicken nuggets and french fries type things and jalapeño poppers and the usual deep-fried stuff. The cold deli has a good selection of cold cuts and cheeses and then there is the prepackage stuff also in a different area which is a very big selection. They have good brands and not so good brands so you can choose the level of quality you want and the prices are based accordingly. Their prices on groceries are pretty good although I try to go to a local store if possible because I hate to feed the Wally world machine but in a pinch they have good prices for pretty much everything. They also have clothes and anything else you could frankly need. I only visited the grocery side so I can only comment on that today however the checkout lines were pretty long. I did take a picture of the speedy checkout which had probably seven or eight people in each. All in all, this is decent for a Walmart but if there are other options I tend to take the other road. read more

I was just telling my daughter how much i liked this location to knly be let down. We went to get paint. When we combed the aisle to see if our volor was ore mixed it was not. There were four people standing around. So we asked to get paint mixed. They referred us to the man who daid oh our paint mixer is down. To which the lady said i wouldn't know that. She turns and says unfortunately iur mixer is down. As my daughter and i walk away the man says " now its healed. Wont be back.we were not rude or anything. So we made our ourchase of other stuff which i at that point really didn't want to get. But all is well went across the street to Home Depot and got our paint. read more

This just in: well I don't know when it happened but this location now has a self checkout section. That part moves pretty fast. Not too long a wait and 2 attendants there to help. I tried it last time I was here and it was cool. Right now I'm in the traditional checkout line... still so very slow. But in front of me are people who move slowly in the first place. So... can't expect the line to move faster than them. Stars stay the same though read more

First off let me say, I am not a fan of Walmart in any way, shape or form. I usually try to stay away because I feel like I can feel my blood pressure rise as I go through the doors. I know what to expect at Walmart so I am basing this review based on other Walmart's and not against stores in general. However at this Walmart, the parking lot is always crazy, other customers are rude and don't let you cross from the parking lot to the store. There is ample parking and the store is fairly neat but that is where the good ends. This store always feels very dark and dingy inside. There isn't enough stock out and they don't have what I want. The service leaves something to be desired. On my latest visit, my mom wanted a simple gold band just to hold one of her other rings in place. We waited for someone to help us and no one came. After about 5 minutes of waiting, I went to the register and requested help. The system said an associate had been notified. We waiting another 5 minutes. I went back to the register and requested an associate again. Once again no one came. I went to the fitting rooms and there were two employees there. I asked if they could have someone sent to the jewelry counter. One informed me she wasn't clocked in and the other just smiled. I started to walk away and they said they would ask someone to go over. A few minutes later a lady came by and asked us how she could help. When we said which case we wanted to look at a ring in she told us to hold on. Why ask if you want us to wait? We told her and she seemed like we ere annoying her just by being there. The associates just never seem happy or nice here and I have to say the friendliest person was the security guard at the door. I will not come here unless I am severely desperate for something I can't get somewhere else, its just not worth it. read more

Is there a such thing called a Negative ONE star?! This Walmart is complete trash....... They never have any buggies, employees are rude an have disgusting customer service. I've been going to this location since I was a young child because the location is convenient. But maybe I should start driving out of my way to go shop at a better location!!!! Since they've changed almost all of their registers to self service you would think their would be employees that were doing work or anything that was useful. A company that is suppose to be about customer service is doing a horrendous job. They can give low prices, but service and treatment of their employees should be important too. Those in charge of having people work a time that is busy should be fired. This store needs employees to feel like they matter and that the customers matter too. Without those people, who would have nothing. Change your ways. The one star goes the hard working employees and not the company ( they would get more stars, but I don't want the company to think they deserve them). They matter! read more

This is for the grocery pick-up service. I have used this service about 6 times now and I can only say good things about the service! Most times the groceries and I are leaving in about 10 minutes! I love that I don't have to walk all over Walmart for the things I need and the customer service from the staff that bring your groceries out is far better than the service from inside! I just wish our two local Publix's offered this! read more

This will be short. Of all the Wal-Marts I go to, I like this one least. This is a newly remodeled store with over 20 check out lines but on a Friday afternoon they only had about 6-8 lines open. My favorite thing about Walmart now is the site to store options. When I don't want to deal with people I either go super early in the morning or I shop online then pick up my stuff at my closest Walmart. Sometimes you end up waiting for a week or more depending on where the item is located. Walmart also has items from other parties which I guess is one of their online vendors and the item is shipped. I always pick up at store to keep from paying postage. Now you can even buy your groceries online and then pick them up on the way home. Way to go Walmart! read more

Pharmacy Review: Came here for the COVID-19 shot the first time a month ago. We had to wait 15 minutes before receiving it. There was only two people before us already checked in. Today we are back for the second shot and we have a set appointment. Still here waiting and NO ONE is here before us. It took 30 minutes. Very nice Pharmacist though. read more

My favorite wal mart store. I would rather shop here than anywhere. But always go on a week morning. The weekends are way too busy. I never have trouble checking out but it would be nice if we had some of those self check out lanes like some of the others have. But I sure love the online order and pick up service they have now. I have lived all over the country and seen many a Walmart. I unlike many people like Walmart, however this is a store from hell. Long lines, low stock, rude people, always out of everything, no self checkout just to mention a few problems. We just had a major hurricane here, and they were massively unprepared. No water, no canned goods, and batteries were way more expensive than normal, 10 pack 16 dollars. This store was bad business as usual even in the face of a potential disaster. read more

My family and I nickname this location "The dirty dirty". Their bathrooms are never clean and the store is never really organized. Majority of the items on the shelf is over priced, compared to other Wal-Mart's in wealthier areas. How can food be more costly where people make less and live less fortunate? The system is backwards. #WAKEUP And just take the drive to a Wal-Mart closer to southside or westside (wealthy areas). You'll save more half of what you spend here. He told me to come back at 3 o'clock... well guess what, they don't have a shipment coming in today at three.
