I went in this store on 4.16.22 to pick up ATV wall mount. The store itself looked as if a tornado and a hurricane hit and the aftermath was what was what I was seeing. Empty, disorganized and poorly stocked shelves with items in the wrong place. Specifically in the television mounting bracket 16 foot section in electronics. But, also elsewhere in the store. I had stopped at another location and that store told me they had 6 eaches in stock of the item I was looking for. If it had not been for my keen eye I would have not seen it. Because the $20 item was stocked in a $80 items spot. The store itself is massive. Parking is as typical in these locations. Tight aisles and small spaces. Access to parking lot has multiple entryways and some are more difficult than others to gain entry. I'd recommend this place. But, buyer beware. You'll have to put up with a lot of frustration within the aisles looking for what you need. More often than not. read more

With the exception of the gentleman that spoke up on my behalf,One star is more than the present remaining staff deserve all together. I went to the Clinton Hwy location around 10:30pm to grab a hat that was required to meet my work's uniform dress code. While attempting to locate their hatrack,I spotted a slingshot that I thought could be something that I would be able to use to have some fun with my sons while teaching them proper weapon handling safety & hopefully make some good memories in the process. I head to self checkout & as soon as I get within earshot I hear this elderly gray haired lady complaining about having to go back & forth to verify the other customers every time one of the scanners require her assistance. When I spot a scanner open I go over,scan my two items,& the screen says an assistant is on the way. So I turn,smile,& wave at her. She rolls her eyes & slowly makes her way over to me. 1st of all,I'm almost 40yrs old with no violent criminal history & this slingshot wasn't exactly the kind you might see someone hunt with. It appeared to be a decent quality for its price of $12.97. I present her the temporary I.D. that I was giving by the Tennessee DMV. She abruptly and hatefully claims that's not a legitimate proof of age. I tell her that I was told by the folks working at the DMV that anywhere that required proof of age is obligated to accept that temporary ID. Aside from the fact that it was issued by an office of the Tennessee government. It also has the barcode needed to scan so the establishment can verify its authenticity. Admittedly I got a bit frustrated and pointed out the fact that customer service like this is exactly why Target is a more preferable store to go to. So now I grab the hat that I needed move over to another self scan and proceed to ring up and purchase said that. When's the transactions complete I grabbed my hat and start towards the door. This is when I hear the voice of the same hateful elderly lady say "Sir you can't take that hat,it hasn't been paid for!" I tell her yes I did, which she responds with "I didn't see you pay for it,& I don't believe you. So you need to come stand right here with us twhile we find proof." She said us because she was now accompanied by three other employees. I then informed her that I wouldn't be doing as she demanded & if anyone thinks they want to attempt to prevent me from taking my $6.97 hat,that I just paid for,& walking out the door. Well,I respectfully ask that you reconsider following through on those thoughts. When an honest,hard working person is treated so unfairly, then loudly & publicly called a thief. I can promise you, it's not gonna go how you hope. This is when the gentleman that I mentioned at the very beginning of this comes in. He too is an employee at Walmart. He came over & stepped between the mob of ppl who obviously hate their lives & myself. Then he pointed at the hateful elderly lady & he firmly tells her that she needs to knock it the hell off. He personally witnessed me go over & scan the tag on the top of the hat. He goes on to say that he saw me insert my credit/debit card,confirm my total,& then saw that I chose to get my purchase receipt via email. Afterwards he turns to me,apologizes,& tells me I may go. Absolutely the worst customer service you will EVER find out of a chain store. Place an order online and they mark it as unavailable because the OGP pickers don't want to do their jobs. They have the product to complete your order but force you to resubmit it before you can purchase it again. You ask for a manager but they are NOWHERE to be found and NO ONE knows how to find one. Call to speak to a manager and the store just hangs up on you multiple times. If I could give zero stars I would read more

Went to Clinton highway walmart to buy a 8 dollar cologne that was locked up behind a glass incloseur. It said ring bell 10 minutes nobody came 3 different Associates came by I asked how do I get the cologne they said someone would be there shortly nobody came went to front of store ask for a manager and the lady at self checkout said only 1 key holder for that. This Walmart doesn't not sell the RedBull in the cooler refrigerator section at all because they make RedBull remove the product out of their refrigerator because they said RedBull is the 1 stolen product at their store. The refrigerator said RedBull and Monster on it near or at checkout. They said they don't have a spot to put RedBull in it. Because they have all the for the other energy drink like Monster,Bang, Rockstar, Alani and other energy drink except for RedBull. Because Coca-Cola and Pepsi paid the for all the refrigerator drink at their store. RedBull is NOT the 1 stolen product at Walmart. Cosmetic and Meats Product is the most stolen product at Walmart. Because the said RedBull and Monster on refrigerator they have to put RedBull and Monster and no other energy drink brand on unless it labeled it on the refrigerator. Walmart needs to quit detaining their customers when they have already went through a register with a Cashier and paid for the items. The receipt checker needs to find another line of work! ( Poor attitude and rude), instead of stepping in front of me and demanding a receipt .She was informed I went through a register with a cashier(20ft away) He rang my items up ,not me. Oh well I didnt see that was her response. She didnt see that because she was standing there chit chatting and not paying attention to her job. Im not going to put up with getting stopped every time I leave the store with my PAID items. I refused to show my receipt because of her attitude and demeanor. I asked for a refund on a return and the lady ignored me and when I asked again said I had to wait until tomorrow and come back??... and that returns take 5-7 business days. Absolutely despise this Walmart, the Neighborhood Market on Western Ave is a better for groceries. Had my phone stolen here a year ago and have tried to give it more chances. I haven't ever had to many issues with this Walmart. However last week up until yesterday was a nightmare. I had ordeded a blanket through the photo center( using the Walmart app) which I had no issues happen. I received the email and text message stating that my order was ready on Thursday Dec. 12th. I went to Walmart to pick it up it wasn't done processing and lady said it would be over the weekend. Okay, whatever that's fine. Well I go back on Sunday to get it and guess what, they can't find it. So I leave. I call back on Monday Dec. 16th and it's told to me that it is there and ready. I tell the person I will come pick it up. I get there and guess what ITS GONE again. Tuesday 12/17 I called and spoke to manger Eric. THANK YOU ERIC !!! I just moved back to this area yesterday. I went in this morning to go buy some pillows and self care stuff. As soon as I walked into the self check on the pharmacy side, the attendant was watching my every move. So, she clearly saw I scanned every item. I bought two pillows that were the exact same, and as I was paying, she asked if I got two of the same pillow, and I politely replied, "yes, and I scanned them separately." She then was furiously looking back and forth at my cart and at her handheld that allows her to see what people are scanning. There were others in the self check that were checking out, and she wasn't near watching them as closely as she was watching me. After already having a bad morning, being watched like someone who was stealing ruined it, especially since she watched me scan everything in my cart. Worst and most unprofessional Walmart I've ever been to , the area manager really needs to do something about the workers here, because their running it into the ground , and the managers over them are no better, what happened to weeding out the bad and bringing in the good ? Lawn and garden center gate never open in the morning hours usually as late as 11 am. I drive bye and I usually just go over to home depot but would much prefer Walmart due to better prices.Carrying supplies to the front to far of a walk and hassle because they have to look up mulch codes or potting soil codes etc. read more

Each time I go to this Walmart, which is not very often, (especially this location), the prices are sky high. Even the 2 liter soda is .90 more than anywhere else in Knoxville. Kroger has it for .99, not $1.89, like Walmart. Food City, and Target also have the same items for much less. This last trip I had put some items into my cart as they were marked down and said "CLEARANCE" on the sign. Four t-shirts, a few toiletries, four vegetables, two candles, and some chicken. The shirts were supposed to be marked down to $3.00 each but were actually $7.79 when I got to the register. More than half of the items were NOT as advertised. I can see if someone put an item back in the wrong place, but more than HALF? No. I'll never shop there again, EVER! I spent more there than I do when I go to Whole Foods for the month with a full cart! This place is deliberately marking down prices on the shelves and charging you more at the register. $189.97 for a few marked down items is outrageous!!!! They should be reported. Also, the thing that pissed off at least ten people in line was that those 10 people (as was I) were so angry because there was only ONE check stand open. One! This is such a slum store. read more

Horrible experience at location 1318 in Knoxville. My mother in law bought my son a a Chrome book for school at www.walmart.com I had picked it up on August 28th. My son had a problem with it. I took it back to Walmart on Clinton Highway and was told by the girl in customer service it was purchased by a 3rd party on the site but she would "see what she can do". I spoke to the customer service manager Stephanie who told me she could not do anything and I would need to call Walmart.com. I went to my car and did that. I spoke to Gia and she said it was not purchased from a 3rd party and it purchased and shipped from Walmart.com. There was an accessory on the order purchased from a third party and not the computer. She asked if I was still at the store and asked me to go back in and let them speak to her. Stephanie was called back over and she literally ignored me. She looked at the receipt and looked on her computer. I told her 2 times that Gia from Walmart.com wished to speak to her. She finally rudely told me that she can't speak to Gia on my phone. I told Gia this and said to escalate it to the store manager. I asked for him and was again ignored by Stephanie. At this time she was calling Walmart.com from the store landline. She did apparently request a higher manager named Houston, he came over and his name tag said he was the assistant manager. He ignored me also other than refusing to talk to Gia on my phone. He spoke to Walmart.com and after quite a while he hung up with them and told me they had refunded the computer but he refused to exchange it and said it would be refunded within 72 hours. I told him I wanted to exchange it not refund it. He said I could go back and purchase one or wait till I get my refund and reorder it. He took the computer and there was nothing I could do. I told him I planned on shopping and showed him my list but I was going to take my business to Ingles. He said "that's fine". I told him I won't come back and he rudely said "have a good day sir". I turned around and told him to stop now and he even more rudely said it again. I asked him to "please stop talking to me". He told me if I continue to cause a scene he would ask me to leave. I said again "please stop talking to me" and he told me to leave the store. This all took place around 7:00pm on Wednesday September 11th. If you check your customer service cameras at this time you will see the whole interaction. My biggest complaint is how rude they both were to me and never once said "I'm sorry I can't help" or "I understand" or heaven forbid "I'll be glad to help you." If they can't help me then they can't help me but Gia at Walmart.com said she could authorize an exchange at the store but they both refused to talk to her. Houston also refused to provide any proof that the computer was being refunded and kept the computer. He didn't trust me that I was actually speaking to Walmart.com but I have to trust what he is telling me. His story conflicted with what I was told by 1-800-walmart.. read more

It's Wamart not a boutique on Rodeo Drive so don't expect a pleasant experience, sometimes the store is clean, sometimes you'll feel the need to shower. The staff is polite (by Walmart standards) and of course it's cheap. The other shoppers look like extras in a Mad Max film and that's entertaining and scary. read more

This place is garbage and has been for years. The more they change, the worse it gets, and it wasn't great to begin with. First of all, the customer service is terrible! One example is when I approached a stocker to ask where something was; he literally looked to the ground and deeply sighed as if I was a child, then proceeded to vaguely explain in which direction the item *might* be. I was just there today, and they now require masks whereas last time I went they didn't. I don't mind, but I didn't have a mask on me, I wasn't expecting to have to wear one. I wouldn't have cared if they simply said "please wear a mask," but the man they have out there now was sarcastic and rude! I explained I didn't see the sign, and as I walked away, he shouted out "don't get mad" twice. I wasn't even mad! Most of their workers don't know how to work the machines, most are rude, and the way they've organized their entrances and exits is Machiavellian at best! Took grandchildren to this Wal-Mart to buy fish. We waited and waited in the pet section and even looked up and down the aisle, but no associate. Walked over to photo to see if they could page an associate to help with fish. Barry, asst. manager, was working in photo section. He said he would page someone. We returned to fish section and waited another 10 minutes, but to no avail. Barry did not even check on us to see if we were helped. He just left us hanging. By this time, 3 yr. old grandson screaming and crying wanting a fish. We returned to photo where Barry only offered to page someone again. WHAT??? Was that to be another 10 minutes? Why could he not assist us. Does he not know how to catch a fish out of the aquarium? Poor manager skills....he did not care about his customer nor the fact a child was crying.
