I'm writing this review specifically for the auto department. I made an appointment online last week and when I showed up for my oil change I was told that their oil bays were broken and that I should have been called and notified about this. No big deal though...I get things break and this Walmart is on my way home so no harm no foul. A week later I made another oil change appointment and this time I had to stay over at work which was going to make me late for this appointment. I called Walmart 3 different times and was transferred to the auto departments never-ending ring of death. The customer service rep supposedly could not help me any other way besides just keep sending me back to their phone ringing off the hook. I made it to the store 1 hour after my appointment time and was told that I was now a walk-in customer and it would probably take around 2 hours. I understand that I was late to my appointment, but if someone in your auto department simply would have answered their phone then I could have been told that I shouldn't expect to get an oil change around my scheduled time. Another irritating thing is that I bought tires from you guys' years back and so I am supposed to receive free tire rotations (and do get them only when you guys are feeling kind enough to do it.) I have been told numerous times when I show up to an oil change "we can't fit a tire rotation in right now, so you'll have to come back." I do not understand why tire rotations cannot be scheduled or added to my oil change online. I am officially done using Walmart auto shops for good now. read more

I have never been a big Walmart fan, but hubby loves the prices, so here we go. This Walmart is 18 miles from home, and not as busy as the one near Pigeon Forge. Yay! First time here, and I could easily get around, and it was kind of ravished. I was looking for a bigger pen for Ozzie, and a birthday present for my boss's 3 year old Little girl. I have moved to Seymour recently & used grocery delivery frequently from the Maryville Walmart -who were excellent!!! A whole different experience using the South Knoxville Walmart :(. I have had 2 orders cancelled - no explanation! And I have had 2 deliveries on the day after they were scheduled. Cant reach anyone at the store - it rings & rings & rings. The South Knox Walmart cannot be depended on for delivery. I am done (even though I have paid for that service) - I am going to change to Food City. read more

If you have been to Walmart, you will notice this is like every other Walmart. Cheap prices and everything you need. We stopped here for groceries for our Airbnb. They were a little ravaged on the shelves, but that is to be expected in a busy vacation destination. read more

Delivery is starting to be terrible. 2 weeks ago I waited an extra 4 hours after calling the store and that deptment just rang and rang, finally found a Manager and he transferred me back to the same extension and it only rang and rang. Today had a Delivery for Noon and as of now 3:30 pm I have not gotten my order yet and they can't tell me when I may get it. read more

No help have to check your own food because they have no reg open with a cashier. I feel like I need a check to shop there

I like shopping at the Wal-Mart Super store on Chapman Hwy. Their bakery has a huge selection of Patti Labelle fresh baked cobblers and pies. They also have a bigger selection of toys in their toy departments and the restrooms are much more cleaner than the other locations. read more

I like this Walmart. Grocery side is on the left and GM side is on the right. It has plenty of parking and easily accessible from the highway. There is no Redbox on the grocery entrance. So it may be on the GM side entrance ax I did not enter from that side because it was closed. Most Walmarts close one side after 10 pm. Their bread is on in a weird section as it is in the center on the grocery side next to frozen foods. One thing I noticed is that this Walmart has an abundance of official Tennessee merchandise. You can find it up front during football season. read more

Initially I was excited about Walmart since there isn't one at NYC. It seemed like they had everything and they basically do. But then I discovered krogers and I was sold. Regardless, Walmart is still awesome and this is my go to for random things that I'm not sure where to go. The staff here is super nice and the customer service is very polite. I ordered a Xbox online for in store pickup. It took 3 hours for it to be ready to be picked up. It seemed like 3 hours waiting after I checked in at the store to get it. What a joke the in store pickup is. Nobody knew what they were doing. I guess it's Amazon from now on. And you wonder why Walmart is losing to Amazon read more

I'm always surprised when I encounter a GOOD walmart. I've been to this location 3x since moving to the area and they always are in Stock, clean, well lit and short(er) lines. The carts are nice, parking easy, accessable... I really don't have a bad thing to say! read more

The tire center here does not screw around. They are always very attentive. I regularly stop by to get tire pressure/oil checked before long road trips. They are efficient and get the job done fast. Specifically there is a man named Tim that is always very helpful and attentive. I highly recommend this place. read more

Thank you to the tire and lube center for stripping the oil pan drain bolt head on my sons car. They didn't tell us about it and we found out at the next oil change when he was home in west TN so there is not alot I can do about it now except pay a local shop repair it. read more

Love this Walmart! It's not really crowded and the location is great! You have other stores like Shoe Show, Cato's, Dollar tree, etc... I also love the fact this Walmart has plenty of self check-out lanes. read more

Great classic movie. Walmart prices are no longer hard to beat. It's been awhile since shopping at Walmart so I decided to give it another try. BIG MISTAKE. Walmarts customer service continues to decline in my opinion. With this purchase I also purchased an egift card online. Was able to pick up the movie no problem. However Walmart was unable to verify my payment for gift card (same transaction and payment as movie) so we're unable to fulfil that part of the order. I was told that it can take up to 10 business days for me to get the money returned on my credit card. So let me get this straight. You're unable to verify my payment yet it will take up to 10 business days to return my money. You were able to verify the SAME payment for part of the order but not the other. What am I missing??? Oh yes.....a week out and I still don't have access to my $100 that I paid them for my egift card. Needless to say. This will be my last purchase at Walmart period. I will never walk through their doors again. read more

I've been a Walmart fan for years because of the lower prices on groceries. Then when they started the "saving catcher" cash back program I didn't shop any where else! It made sense for this single Mom. I don't like shopping there because: They are always short on cashiers. Having not enough cashiers adds about 45min to your visit. Except for hamburger and pork chops I do not buy meat there cause I question quality and prices are not great. They lack variety of brands in my opinion but I like a variety so I can try new things. At this particular location off Kingston Pike in Knoxville, as soon as I step into the store my iPhone will not be able to access the Internet. I've spoken to other shoppers who can't either! So there is no access to any e-cards you may have! Since they altered the number and type of stores that the "savings catcher" compares prices with its not worth the trouble to use it. Having lived by the ocean, the seafood is reasonable and affordable read more
