Rating has nothing to do with the store itself, but with those responsible for delivering orders. If you have a Walmart membership, be aware that the third party responsible for delivery "chooses orders based on tip amount." This was explained to us by the store employee. We were told they will let orders sit and grab higher tip amounts/closer delivery locations. This resulted in a repeatedly delayed order until we finally cancelled. Also- there was an ADDITIONAL tip added to the order just for the driver- but apparently 15% wasn't enough. read more

It's a decent Walmart, a little far out of town. The main reason I gave this 2/5 is this creepy cut-out that lives between the frozen foods and dairy section. It's also insanely annoying they won't add Apple Pay or Tap to Pay to their checkouts (do they not want our business?). I know their managers get bonuses based on WalMart Pay usage but who the heck wants to download an app for EVERY store?? I've gotten several jump scares walking past this thing and seeing it in an aisle. Kinda just off-putting overall. read more

On 3/23/26 made an order online. At approx 8:45 pm Tried to call and track the order with no success used store VM to try and track the order and after putting my 15 digit order number in 3 times it wouldn't take the number! Tried to call the online ordering department with no answer. Was lucky enough to get Ryan in customer Service who was very helpful but unable to contact anyone on pick up. He was going to try some other options but I just told him to forget it. Ryan in customer service was the only 5 STAR EMPLOYEE I contacted tonight. Im tired of this location VERY rarely do they have the shelves stocked more times than not we have to order in because the store is not stacked properly , The staff are rude when you ask them to check the back storage for items. This store has really gotten bad. In defense of the Lake Havasu store, it is probably every Walmart now. Today we went in and had a basket of about 50 items. Every self-service check out is now limited to either 15 or 20 items maximum. There was a single checker available to check out every customer who was buying more than 20 items. Don't know about the rest of you but I never leave Walmart with under 20 items. We finally asked one of the associates at the self service what the deal was. She responded "come to the 15 item self-service. It's OK" We elected to pass to prevent the guy behind us making a stink because "we" can't read a sign. Come on Walmart. If money is that tight and you can't staff the store, please close up shop so another company can take your square footage. read more

It's Walmart. I hate going to the store because it is always so freaking busy and packed. The inside is huge and seems impossible to find anything. I always forget something and have to walk all the way back to the opposite side of the store, fighting other customers along the way like some crazy battle arena. However, their online grocery pick-up is amazing. Order whatever you need, pick a date/time, and go pick it up. You NEVER have to go inside - heck, you don't even have to leave your car if you don't want to. The employees bring the items out and pack them into your trunk. It's easy, convenient, and there is no service fee. I love it. read more

Hi, I know, I know.... How can anyone trust a single review I write when I give a Walmart 5 Stars?! But, trust me, this Walmart is different! Go in, you will see! That is if you are willing to believe your eyes..... Walmart is the biggest retailer in the world. Period. If more were like this one, more people would not have to be ashamed to say they like to shop at Walmart. It is an amazing store. The Walmart is Lake Havasu City is a model for all Walmarts to follow. It is big, new, clean and well kept. The isles are wide and free of clutter. The merchandise is well kept and well displayed. Whoever the manager is, he/she really takes pride in his/her store. This Walmart has a huge grocery store in it as well. It is also well stocked and clean. It even has a fresh sushi section. The rest of the store is fairly typical with a Subway, a bank, a beauty shop and an eye-doctor. The store has an excellent automotive section as well as a good sporting good selection. It is really too bad they can't send this Walmart out to California. If they did, I sure would shop there more! Check this place out, seeing is believing! read more

Do not apply if needing employment! They hired my nephew knowing he had disabilities and put him on a register without training him. Unfortunately, he gave to much money back one time and they put him on carts in January and told him it would be a couple months. Six months later, he was still on carts. I didn't want to do this but after my experience with my family yesterday 6/13/23 and then today 6/14/23 I decided to bring attention to this here. Came to havasu on vacation like I have been for the last 15 years. I brought my family and we came to Walmart to buy some alcohol for the lake. Mind you everyone in my party are adults over 21. The only minors were clearly children. One of my cousins is from Mexico and has her id but for some reason at check out this older white man decided he didn't want to take her Id because it's from a different country. Refused to sell it to us even after my brother showed him his California id and acted like we were gonna steal the beer by forcing us to push our cart with our beer towards him. He kept telling him we had id but he still refused. We were told to get in a different line to pay for it and we got in line and waited 25 minutes and once we made to the front of the line we were denied service once again because we were part of the same party. I tried not to get upset because at this point I felt discriminated against. We all had id and were there todo business and pay but because we spoke Spanish the old dude denied us service over one person who's id was from a different country. I went back today and purchased a $80 black label bottle only this time the cashier didn't even bother to id me and my husband. Lol racist much? How does that make any sense? First we get treated like thieves and demand id. And today nothing. That whole situation felt very personal. Walmart needs to coach these employees to not treat people from different countries like crap especially when we have valid id and came to vacation legally in this fine state. That old man whose name I didn't get was racist. And if I see him again I'm gonna get his name and bring this to his team leaders. We pay taxes and work hard in this country. The old Wal-Mart was my favorite place to hate in the city. Way too small, isles so tight. Just couldn't handle the volume of people and visitors Lake Havasu has grown to. Pushing a shopping cart through the store was ridiculous. The new 208,000 sq ft Supercenter is really nice. Almost everything you could possibly need for home, garden, boat, RV, groceries, furniture, electronics, etc. When I'm in this new store I really don't think "Wal-Mart", it's just so unlike a regular Wal-Mart store. I guess the furniture section is unique to this store, or at least the size of the section. I noticed a Better Homes and Gardens product line throughout the store too that's nice. I'm not sure why there are low ratings on this Walmart, it's huge, clean, carries everything under the sun including groceries. It even has an arcade in the front and a nail salon. This review is for the Pharmacy: Thank You! Best Pharmacy in town! Today I called about refilling a prescription, and Samantha answered the phone. She answered all of my questions and had my prescription filled in literally five or ten minutes. I have never seen this done. Ever. When I get to Walmart, the pharmacy line was loooong. Very long. But it only took a few minutes to make it to the front! My assistance program is rare I think because every pharmacy seems confused by it. But guess who jumped in to help me immediately? Samantha. Wow. She deserves 6 gold stars and more. She helped me last time I picked up a prescription too. She obviously knows what she is doing and is willing to spend time to figure things out. Since she knows what she's doing, she spends time with you trying to figure out yet does it fast! I just want to put it out there that this pharmacy is the best in town. Well worth the drive from the southside. I am a type 1 Diabetic and insulin is important and expensive. CVS and Walgreens in Lake Havasu have been awful towards me. Refusing to take my insurance AND assistance programs, while also not refilling emergency prescriptions FOR DAYS. This has only been a problem in Havasu. Don't go to the CVS and Walgreens Pharmacies! Go to Walmart's pharmacy and be treated like an actual patient. read more

I called to ask about an item they had in stock in electronics and they redirected me to an electronic associate 4-5 times and no one answered and they eventually just hung up on me, I'm new to this town and didn't want to drive 15 minutes to Walmart if they didn't have the item in stock. This place is shopping's heaven. It has literally everything. I was amazed by how much cheaper everything is outside of Los Angeles, we are being ripped off. This Walmart is one to remember, I liked everything about it-from the nice people to the huge selection and fair prices. It's clean, we'll lighted and feels good kind of place. Hands down the best Walmart I've ever been to. A couple of weeks ago, my best friend and I undertook the task of moving me back to Dallas from San Diego, a simple enough journey that was quickly derailed by just a multitude of car problems (see my Meineke reviews for more details). We arrived at this blessed Walmart after driving all day from Barstow with no air conditioning. We had been on the lookout for a Walmart because I'm stubborn and wanted to buy some of those cooling towels with some Walmart gift cards that I had, but it seemed like we had driven for 200 miles without finding a Walmart close to I-40 because the desert is truly Satan's domain and now I understand some of those bible stories a little bit better. After nearly fainting from heat exhaustion and crying to Elton John songs out of sheer hopelessness and desperation thinking we were never going to make it out of that car alive, we finally made it to this Walmart and after sitting inside on a bench on that 120 degree day, I felt my soul return to my body. That Walmart was a turning point on our journey and truly gave me hope on the hottest and one of the worst days of my life. We had some help from a nice man back in the camping section who showed us where the cooling towels were (they were a lifesaver) and we also got some handheld fans and Lake Havasu shirts so we could always remember what we gained there in that Walmart that day. Absolutely the best Walmart store I've shopped in. Staff is super friendly and their selection was great. Very clean and being a Supercenter, they had everything (and more) we needed. Nice alcohol selection, too. Plenty of parking and the location is great, making it a perfect place to shop and stock as you enter Lake Havasu. Staff, cleanliness, and selection are what made this the best Walmart yet. Visiting in October, it was not quite silly season, but my early morning visits allowed me to shop with no delay. Even when the store was busy, staff moved folks through checkout quickly. I simply love this store and two thumbs up to management and the team at this Walmart. read more

The only bad thing about living in LHC is having to go to this Walmart. The checkout lines are painfully slow, always long, and usually there's only two or three open. The managers who direct you into different lines have absolutely no idea what they're doing. In fact the last time I was there she directed me into a line which ended up taking three times as long as the original line I was in. I ended up leaving my cart sitting there and walking out. This store is absolutely asinine. They let people cash checks at the registers which should be done at customer service, which holds everyone else up who's just trying to buy a gallon of milk. This place truly is run by unprofessional, incapable people who don't understand there are only 24 hours in a day and 23 of them should not be spent in line at Walmart. This is a nice Super Walmart with everything you would expect. It is located on the far north end of the city, near the mall. I have been at other Walmarts where I felt like I was the only shopper there who did not have a parole officer. This Walmart is not like that. It has a good clientele. read more
