Unlike the 45th street location, I was in and out with a pick-up order last week. Furthermore, it was in the 5 o'clock hour. The young man who assisted me was very kind and he was honoring his grandmother with a necklace that contained a photo of her. This touched my heart. I don't love the parking lot at this location when shopping inside but I've always been able to purchase what I need here so I'm giving it 4 stars. If you're looking for better aesthetics then head to Jupiter but heads up they're knee deep in a remodel and it is a S-show! read more

Listen, I'm so conflicted with this review. But even with what happened with trying to get an oil change, I was willing to give them another chance but after what happened when I came back for them to fix it, I just can't! As you could read from my previous reviews, my car had only been serviced by Chev dealers. Being that the Chev on Northlake service dept don't answer or return their calls and Mike Maroone is complete utter trash, I came to Walmart for an oil change. A couple of the service employees were pretty cool, we chopped it up. They made a few jokes. I really hate Walmart so I didn't venture into the store and just waited. Car ready...drive home. Park and my car gave me a warning message about the oil. I was like Lord, this is what I get for not going to Chevrolet? later that night I drove down the block for dinner and got a message that my car didn't have any oil. WTF It was drama getting someone cause they didn't answer the phone in the auto dept when I called the next day. I had to call another Walmart auto, whose manager called the manager of the store that serviced me. He eventually called me and told me to get my car towed back to them and they would reimburse me. Got there; mgr said dude didn't put enough oil in my car (he said he checked the camera). I'm like it had to be pretty damn low for my car to say add oil. He and a worker looked at my car with me standing with them. They did their thing. All professional, at this point, I am thinking, as much as I hate Mike Maroone, ima give Walmart another chance cause they were all cool and the mgr handled it appropriately. Until.... I was leaving and 10 minutes down the road, he called to ask me if they left some keys in my car. I was like I don't see any. Hung up and he called again for me to check. I said ok let me pull over. Chile why were those damn keys sitting under my hood. It was at this point, nail in the coffin for future service. The last SEVERAL times I've done drive up I've gotten to interact with Ishmael who is always pleasant and thorough. I always appreciate his good service. Although good luck if you need help finding something, I do find this store to be a great price and really well stocked with good inventory. I came early the morning, looking for something for a computer. Even then it was already very busy. I was a little surprised at how disorganized the store was first thing in the morning. A super nice employee help me find what I was looking for, and then reminded me everything here is self check out now. I purchased 6 packs of Jolly Rancher Zero Sugar Hard Candy from walmart.com and picked up my purchase at the Walmart Supercenter in Lake park, FL on Nov 10. Walmart emailed me a confirmation which showed a charge of $29.64 ($4.94 ea) and indicated a Visa card as payment method. When I got home, I saw a charge of $40.67 on my card. I received a further email asking for my opinion on the service I had received. I indicated a Poor Rating and received a call from a Walmart Agent to whom I expressed my unhappiness with the excess charge. She said the charge was "tentative" and that I would get a correct charge shortly. Today, the charge has been revised to $39.19 which is still much higher than shown on Walmart"s email of Nov 10. I consider Walmart to be an unethical enterprise. read more

So now it's been about 2 years of me shopping here since I live sort of within walking distance, it's the most convenient in regards to location ONLY... as technically it is the worst place to shop. The produce section still smells like fermenting fruit, that hasn't been fixed. Packages of ground Turkey are off gassing and bloated, and likely rancid- so the cooler temps haven't been corrected. Employees here are more than just useless, they are annoying, in the way, and slow. They also seem to be everywhere throughout the store and did I mention: very much in the way. Some new things I've learned: they suck at inventory and restocking. I've been buying diet lemon lime sodas here for awhile- 2 liters of Walmarts brand "twist-up". It is almost never stocked. I have to swing in multiple times a week hoping they restocked. Today they stocked ONE package. They were completely out yesterday when I was in. One package of 6-2ltr bottles that come all shrink wrapped together was all they could bother to stock. I bought all 6 2-liter bottles because who knows how many weeks it will be till they bother to restock again. However, what adds to the annoyance is that they have pallets full of bottled water that never seems to run out, that they end up leaving in the aisles because there's nowhere to put it... in fact there are pallets all over this Walmart in the way of things almost all the time... and they still can't be bothered to stock a soda that is CLEARLY a product that sells. Has no one who does inventory here noticed it's always selling out? Do they just not care to stock things people actually buy? I have the same problem with a particular flavor of riced cauliflower that I love. When I see them restock I have to buy it all because it may not be there again for weeks. What's worse here is that most of the time they stock it in whatever location they can wedge it in- so when it is stocked it takes forever to find. This is a common issue I've been seeing more of. For example- they will also have plenty of whole milk in gallon jugs, but not one a single container 1%. It almost impossible to even go in this store without getting angry and annoyed. Even if they have everything you want- you still have all the pallets cluttering the store up, angry people like me nearly running unsupervised children over with carts at every turn, and the person at the door accosting you on your way out, wanting to check your receipt - but who can't actually be really checking anything in the time they spend looking at it- this has to be by far the most pointless job in existence. Seriously those people should just not be there. Walmart should put them to work stocking shelves, moving pallets to some kind of storage space, and being less useless in general. Walmart- ugh. I have about a million bad things to say about the place. It wins the worst Walmart ever award. read more

I have tried to give this place a chance, but after multiple attempts I have given up. First time I tried the pickup service I waited 1.5 hours for my groceries. There where 10 cars out there ALL waiting that long. I had to go into the store to request my merchandise. The second time I tried to use the pickup service, my scheduled time was 3-4pm. At 4pm the app still hasn't notified me that my order was ready. After making several attempts to call the store I gave up and canceled the order. Horrible customer service like my problem was an inconvenience. 2 girls treated me like crap because I didn't know that you had to slide the wic card first because I also had a gift card. Also in customer service the girl kept my receipt and she said she gave it to me when she didnt. I think she didn't know how to refund me the wic items so the next girl charged me again for the bananas and I didn't have proof because I wasn't given the original receipt. Just very annoyed and upset that the manager was around them and they didn't ask the manager for help or something. They made me feel like I was the crazy one. I never got my receipt back. I was only given a small receipt for me to give to the 3rd girl for help. Fix your customer service because none of those girls act like they want to work there. read more

Another place I'd like to rate with Zero stars. I ordered tires online and made an appointment for the time slot of 10am-11am. Next day I get an email stating that my appointment is at 10am and they're giving me until 10:15am to arrive there. I arrived at 9:45am. After a half hour wait, I was informed that they could only find one of my 2 tires. Another half hour passed and they found another tire like mine, but labeled for someone else that bought 4 tires. So, they had 1of my 2 tires and 1of someone else's 4 tires. After more haggling, they found my other tire. Both sets of tires were mislabeled. At 11:45am, my car remained sitting outside the work bay. As of this writing it is 12:30pm and my car is still sitting outside the work bay. I should've known better than to come to Walmart for any kind of customer service. Should have stayed with Tire Kingdom. Definitely no bargains here. This place really sucks and I spoke to the guy running the auto section (Pierre) and he brushed me off saying I'm next. A few of the associates asking me the same questions about my car (where's the key/ where's the wheel socket/ what year is it/ what color is it?) All of them have entered this information on their iPads. The store manager up front (Mike) also brushed me off saying he'll let the auto center manager know about the situation. He seemed too busy checking returned merchandise than he was with my issues with his store's customer service, or lack of it. read more

to start with i am very old, grew up in ct and have lived in s.e. fl for over 60 years, even as a teen ager i viewed store based on employee attitude and items in stock. my wife does most of the shopping i don't mind going with her to sam's club, publix and trader joe. occationally costco. but i don't go with her to lake park fl wal mart because of the emplyoe's attitude and the disorganiztion ofsome departments, what bothers me the most is the out of stock items. this last trip my ewife made i noticed that the coffee creamer i use was not in stock and the same for my turkey bacon., i did not yet ask her about any other items . i normally will not go with her because of employee attitude, thier lack of interest in the customer's needs and too many out of stock items. the problem that i have with lake park wal mart is atrtrubete to poor managemanrt i don't mide an occasional item out of stock but every time she shos there a couple, sometimes more , are out of stock. if you ask an employee about the outage that cann't deem to get ways fast enough. so rather than shop with her i just stay away, except when i need something my self. parking is fgoos shppoing acart i some times have to cehck out 3 bvwefore i wine one that is not in need of repait. i am not an expert on wal mart but my wife and i treeveled in an r.v for 17 yesars mostly on the east coast and i have found lake park to be the worst, mabyne it is not the management fault but in busness i was alway told the buck stops with management and super vision and i firmly nelieve that. i don't mind shopping at the jupiter fl store they are better organized escept except for for thier automotive( section (supplies), my last two trips there in the auto supply section,i was looking for oil and oil filters. the area was nothing but a deiaster. but oveall i like the jupiter store though they are 10 miles away and lake park is about 4 miles away. in fact, i am not hesitant to shop at the jupiter store. the problem at lake park is not new, i remember a few years back my wife and i both had surgeris about a year apart and when we went to lake park we could not get a n electrxc cart when i i asked the assist manager, 3rd, level about the shortage she got very uspeset witjh me and assured me they had a sufficent amount and most were in for repair by then i was p***** off at her attitude and and her crazy excuses so in a nasty voice i told her if you had an sufficent amount than i clould have found an elctric cart for my wife. so what i ended up doing was having my wife sit in her wheel chair and as i pushed her she pushed a rtegular cart in ftront of her , as we were shopping we passed two teanage girls in good phycial shape using an electric a cart toy. at this point i was pushing my wife in her wheel chair and she was pushing a regular shpoping cart i n front of her. as we were hopped we saw 2 teen ingage girls riding an electric cart, usein it as a toy. the the next time ( about a year later) was when i needed the electric cart. i was not able to find one. but remembered the last time when we could not get a cart, i basically got the same line of bull**** but not with the 3rd level manager . i don't remember now who i spoke too, but i did not get an irntelligent answer so i just decided my shopping days at alake park were over. btw: after my lake park experience i became aware of other sroteores in the area an most if not all just about alway had an empty cart waiting for tjies disabled shooperswhy lake pake management coullnd do the same is beyond commprehention it wouls be nicwe if tyou could look into thw managment of you lsake park store. something is lacking there. please excuse the spelling errors, i am old and have some brain damage from radiation. plus my brani and fingers are not always co0oneected. but i stiil have opinions on what is good and bad when it comes to customer service. i am not saying the manager should be fired they might actually be a good emplyee, but not managment material. unhappy shoopper. read more

My mom and I went in yesterday, the day after Christmas, for a quick trip. It turned into a four hour trip. The parking lot is spacious which is helpful. When we had questions about pricing for Christmas items on clearance there were several employees that assisted Us and other customers with checking prices using their PDA's. The downside is that the bathrooms were completely disgusting. One of them is missing a door and the other one was disgusting. When we went back over an hour later to use the bathroom it was still disgusting. It is evident that no one was checking on the restrooms. For a huge Walmart to only have 2 working restrooms for females we both feel as though this was unacceptable. In the middle of our morning trip he decided to grab a snack at the McDonalds. The ladies were polite and understanding of my mom's aphasia. I would not let the state of the bathroom deter me from returning but I would recommend that management does a better job of ensuring they are checked in a timely manner. read more

The low reviews are spot on for this dump. I went out of my way to look for a yogurt flavor Publix no longer carries. No employees anywhere around to ask to check the back. The flavors with green labels were mixed up because they are green. I only found 4 and then had a female employee yell at me on the way out the door about not taking the cart outside. I don't get paid to move Walmart's carts like she does. Yelling at customers is rude and unprofessional. Stay clear of this place. Publix would never treat you like this. read more

Was taking a return in today. There was some sort of ruckus so I turned to look? An employee (female/asst. Mgr) stopped and looked at me and asked "if I was ok?" (In a funky tone) Puzzled, I said why wouldn't I be? She said cause you turned around. I said to look at ruckas, I then asked her if she was okay? She answered she was "blessed". I think she was trying to dog me for being nosey I guess?? For looking at the commotion! lovely when the freaking store managers trying to pick fights with people just standing there worried about a commotion. I see this more and more. She went above and beyond today finding out about my experience and we jokingly laughed about the way this particular store is ran. In a store full of absolute wildebeests of so called employees (lazy, pathetic, useless, non appreciative, fat cow, walking around in herds, poorly dressed, hood rat pieces of garbage representatives of Walmart), this nice lady was kind enough to REQUEST ME TO CHECK OUT WITH HER EVERY VISIT and shared with me her days off and that she's usually in the fast lane. Talk about wanting to build a business; this is very principle of EXCELLENCE that you see day in and day out in places like H-E-B (Texas), Publix (Florida). I can assure that IT IS WORTH paying extra money to take your business else in Palm Beach County. Let these filthy employees and their filthy mouthed antics take care of the similar pieces of trash that want to shop there. As for Carol, who is off on Monday and Sundays, you'd better believe if I need to make a bulk shopping run, I'll certainly be looking for her. She's a doll amongst animals. Visited this location late night to pick up some things for Sunday breakfast The store was very clean and well stocked. I don't always shop here so I forget the plethora of items a available. I was really impressed with the selection of food items. All the prices are significantly less then at Publix. It is definitely a better shopping alternative. I opted for self checkout which was convenient and speedy. My only comment was they were cleaning the floors when I was there so some isles were roped off. I asked someone to get me pancake mix because I could not go down the isle. They were happy to help me I will see you again soon. read more

I have had it with this store and not properly caring for these fish! About 15 Betta Fish sitting in their poop. Water is so cloudy and green from bacteria and poop you can hardly see how beautiful these fish really are. It's sickening to tell your employees about the quality of the water and nothing gets done about it. I went there two days in a row and still these fish were suffering, most are dying.
