This store is a dump. The place is always a mess and management must be asleep in the stockroom. The place is always a mess and theft there is ongoing. I very rarely give a business 1 star, but this was two separate instances where I had to wait in line for over 20minutes. The first instance was returning a car battery that I didn't end up using because It was my alternator that gave out. So I lug the battery from the car to a cart and go into the store. The customer service counter had one person taking in returns and there was about three people in front of me. One trying to a western union payment, another trying to return a laptop that they clearly had buyer's remorse for, (maybe she was short for rent that month)? There was one more person that wanted to see manager for something but then when they finally called the manager, they lady walked away. It was so weird. When It was finally my turn. it had been at least 20 minutes and the return at first, she was going to give me issues, but once she got the OK, from her manager that was next to her, they took the battery back with no problem. The second time that I came in was to purchase sand paper to sand my muffler that i was painting. There had a few registers open and the lines were spilling into the isle. I then walk up and down to see if there is one that is moving faster than usual. I see there is a few people in the 20 or less items. I then stand in that line, But the cashier was so slow in ringing people up. When she was ringing the lady in front of me. She double charged her on her chicken even with a $1.00 off coupon. Again I waited in line for almost 20 minutes. I got sick and tired that I took my one item and walked to up and down the registers to find a open register that had no one or had one person that was being finish being rung up. The register I went to was very quick and I was out of there in less than 3 minutes. Again, two different times, I had to wait in line for over 20minutes to check our or return something is totally unacceptable. This is why I am rating this Walmart 1 star. read more

It's Walmart. Compared to something like the Thruway Plaza one, it is better. Honestly though, every time I come here there is some craziness which makes me swear it off for another 6 months. There are a couple things I can only get here, or because minus Wegmans, it is only of the only places open 24/7, it forces me here. I feel like I have crossed over into another dimension compared to Target and Wegmans that are just across the street. Today, the guy in electronics looked at me like I couldn't possibly know what I was talking about when I came in asking to get a ChromeCast (this is after I wandered looking for a display of them, which there were none). He went in the back to get it (he didn't make it clear firstly that he had to go get it, so I stood there awkwardly) carrying his half opened energy drink and water bottle. Sorry to interrupt thirsty time, dude. The other cashier was much nicer and asked me if I needed something while I was waiting as he was finishing up taking good care of a disabled customer. The most frustrating thing about this store is for being a "SuperCenter", the selection is abysmal. They carry most items, but maybe one or two brands or selections. My dad has mentioned something specific he got at his Walmart, but if I go to find it at mine, no such luck it seems. Other poor spots: -They do not have any hand-baskets to use and only giant carts available. I usually find myself schlepping things in my arms because I only need a few items, which always ends up being more than I think. -As others have mentioned, I have never seen more than about 4 aisles open. No self service stations, and most people disregard the express lane "max items". You are always stuck waiting way too long and cashiers need better customer service training. -Produce is middle to poor quality. Stuff looks like it rolled around in the back of a truck from Mexico way too long. -Be ready to be stuck behind, run into by, or have to hear the conversations of other interesting customers. Most of the time, if I do need something specific, I order online and get the Site-To-Store or Same Day Pickup and just have to go to the pick-up area next to customer service. Unfortunately, it is not always full staffed and you have to wait for someone to come over, but all the workers I have encountered there have been at least nice and helpful. read more

I never thought I would be someone to review a Wal-Mart on Yelp! but here I am. So the reason I am reviewing this specific location is because of the awesome prices in the pre-made food section. While working down the street I would come and get discounted containers of sweet and sour chicken, chicken strips, popcorn chicken, wraps, and even sandwiches (all of these things were still good, just a day or two shy of the no sale date). Are all of these things top notch quality and the best tasting food on the market? Absolutely not, but it's all pretty average and when I can get a sandwich for $2.00 I'm not complaining. Today I decided to stop in while driving by and picked up a couple of sandwiches, some chicken, and even some bologna for a total of $7 (I don't always eat top notch food). At the end of the day this is still a Wal-Mart and it is what it is, but I definitely give them some credit for the options. read more

I expect to navigate around employees stocking when I go late into the night but it doesn't matter what time you go here. There's constantly pallets of stuff jamming up the aisles at all times of the day. The employees always seem annoyed and bothered if you turn down the aisle they're stocking. Makes for a lousy shopping experience. read more

I went there today and they had only two registers open. They were majorly short staffed as well, and the only manager president was at one of the registers. All of the employees that were there had no idea what they were doing. I went to buy school supplies and return cans & bottles. First of all, they had a very small selection of school supplies. Second of all, all the return machines were out of order/ not working except one and no one was there to fix them. There was no order and lines were huge. The most astonishing thing was an employee had two customers sitting on the floor in the way of people trying to check out! I will not go back there after this horrible experience unless it is absolutely necessary. read more

I am torn between 3 and 5 stars for this location. I like that it has a better, and smaller set up than others I've been to. I generally don't have to walk from one end of the store to get everything I need and it has a nice "flow"'to the set up. I do agree with other yelpers that have said that there always seem to be workers stocking ( and taking up large amounts of space!) at all times of the day/night. It is really hard to navigate when there are a few people in one aisle and large pallets of items being put away...anyway, I am a Wegmans shopper but I appreciate the fact that Walmart is cheaper on most of the items I buy, and they also offer way more brand selection...I don't always want to buy store brand croutons, and here I'm not "forced" to....the cashiers are very, very slow and I think they get paid by the bag because I almost always leave with 50 bags, each containing 1-2 items---it does get ridiculous after awhile. Get stronger/larger bags if it's that big of a deal. read more

Aug 9, 2021... This is the last time i ever shop at this Walmart. Don't blame pandemic for this. Management stinks. How employees handle customers is atrocious. Rude, not available for questions, talking/messaging on cells, could go on and on. Stock is very low. But had a few items to CASH out. 5 or 6 aisles open with at least 3 full basket customers. Go to self checkout...4 people in line. 6 checkout machines with 1 inoperative. Waiting my turn the attendant lets 3 people behind me go! She asks "cash or card"? I'm cash...so tough luck. Only 2 cash machines! Both with full basket customers. I would have to wait 15 minutes while cards go thru. I don't use cards and never will. Walmart doesn't want your cash!! I left with nada. When this store opened years ago it was even worse. But now it's reverted back to that. DO NOT SHOP THERE...YOU WILL LEAVE DISTRESSED AND ANGRY. Shopping should not be that. I would have to agree with other two reviews. This store is basically new and it is operated like it is a country store with inexperienced and unfriendly employees. We were there this past Saturday, 11am. Had a full cart of groceries. There was literally 2 registers open and 2 - 20 items or less registers open. On a Saturday!! There were lines backed up into the clothing sections. This store is very convenient and that is why we keep shopping there. However this was probably our last trip here. There never seems to be full shelves, dairy section is usually missing many items. But the lack of friendly knowledgeable staff is very evident. Its Walmart, I just don't understand it. And if you ever see the shopping carts in the parking lot, they never seem to bring them in. read more

Granted the store is clean and organized, however if you need help your on your oun. They usually are out of stock of a lot of things and do not have a good women's clothing section or even a good housewares or home decor section. And make yourself comfortable at checkout it will take awhile with 30 registers and only 1 open. read more

Just got my first grocery pick up from Walmart in Lancaster and it couldn't have been better. Check in on the app when you're on your way and they know exactly when you arrive. Within 2 minutes they were loading my groceries into my car. Courteous and quick! read more

Some orange haired gentlemen with facial hair working there cut me and my girlfriend off in the store even though they had obviously seen us. He was more concerned joking around about who knows what with a colleague to pay attention to customers. When cashing out some middle aged cashier immediately copped an attitude when my card didn't read giving me the idea she thought I was a cheap skate and I immediately tryed to defend myself why it didn't work. You need to have a bad attitude to work at this Walmart. I would suggest some customer service training. read more

OK, so a small disclaimer first. My review definitely reflects a full 1 star knock off because I'm so tired of going to this BRAND NEW 6 month old Walmart and seeing 30+ physical registers with literally only TWO (2) open. I was there yesterday at 3pm (a Tuesday) and this was exactly the case. 15+ people waiting to checkout in two lines and all pretty much echoing the same thing under their breath about why the heck do they have all these registers if they're not going to use them?? Beyond the register/checkout (lack of) process there is the general clueless staff. Even the guy dressed in a button down shirt who claimed to be the grocery manager (with really bad halitosis) is lacking even general knowledge of their product. I summoned his help (chased him down from 10 isles away because there was no on else in sight - again during the late afternoon) because a bag of Walmart brand "Great Value" mixed frozen fruit I had been buying for the past 4 months from this very Walmart was no longer in the freezer - not even a tag for it. He definitely wanted to brush me off with a simple "well then we must no longer carry it" and seemed quite bothered when I made it known that I expected him to help me search for it since I'd seen it moved to a different location before. Eventually he got more on board and caught up with me in line at the register to show me some printout and claimed the item I was looking for didn't even have "mod?" number? I have no idea what that is, but it's clear he was trying to tell me that they don't carry it any longer - he said most likely due to some sort of production problem or lack of sales. I accepted that answer; then two weeks later on a return shopping trip I see it again in the freezer (4 bags of it) and still again, no actual official tag for it where it's stocked in the freezer. So the product that you no longer carry magically appears back on the shelf? This definitely made my experience feel as if they guy just didn't want to do his job and/or help a customer. I will give them a positive thumb up for being organized for black Friday. i volunteered to be my sisters' "wingman" for this crazy day (2010) since I like watching people get all crazy for crap they really don't need. We went to Target first and it was awful - the checkout process was pretty much "stand in a very, very, very, very, very, very long line" - the line wrapped around the FULL interior perimeter of the store. Afterwards we went to the new Walmart where they had a pretty well organized separated checkout line process that grouped people based on what special sale item they were buying. Props for that. The store is generally tidy, though I'm not sure that isn't because it's new AND a lot of people have been avoiding shopping here because it's so dang difficult to checkout in a timely manner! read more

I was going this Walmart every Sunday morning after getting off the overnight shift from Saturday. every time there's something wrong. the worst issue which was recent I decided to take my bottle returns back early morning shouldn't be a problem right? I got thru my plastics and cans got to the glass the bins were full. I go ask an associate they say go talk to the cashier on lane 13 . she calls someone so I go back and wait .15 minutes later I ask someone else they leave to find someone I hear nothing back ten minutes later I ask another associate they say ill go tell my manager and be right back .20 more minutes nothing.at this point a coworker who came along with me just wants to do it herself. no I say someone will come. so I ask another associate who come to find out has punched out for the day but he goes to tell front desk. no one comes I probably asked 2 more associates before someone finally came it took Walmart an hour and ten minutes to help me. with something that was rather simple all the while all these workers are walking around but only one person knows how to do this task. what joke!!!! they'll be lucky if I'm a returning customer. read more
