This Walmart is disagreeable, every time I come I get rude employees. Today what really stuck a nerve was that I went to the pharmacy and needed to drop of a transcription and the employees there keep me waiting because she was to busy texting to a friend and talking to her colleague at the same time, she keep me waiting for 15 min while she was busy, I despise this Walmart the only reason I go is because I live really close to it but I hope they close this Walmart down because of employees like that will only bring this company down read more

Reading other reviews on this place so it doesn't make me feel bad that I'm giving this store only one star. If I could give it less, I would. This place is trash. I mean, I try not to compare Walmart to Target because for the most part it's not fair, but I mean, I should just be loyal to Target from now on. I never tried using their curbside pick up service for fear that what happened to be actually would and well, here I am. I ordered items online and once I got the email that they were ready for pick up I read it throughly to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I ended up trying to pick up my items the following day and there was no one available in pick up. The email I received never specified that they only work certain hours and then to top it off, no one ever answered the damn phones here... like... I get that the store is busy, but I don't think that not answering phones is acceptable. Once I finally got through to someone from electronics, she informed me that no one was available for curbside pick up and that since my pick up time was a day before, it was quite possible that my items had already been returned to the shelves. When I asked to speak to a manager, she claimed that she was the manager and that I needed to call back the next day. If that's the kind of customer service managers give customers then no wonder why Walmart is such a shitty place. The lines are always long and there are never enough cashiers either. To avoid this in the future, I will either get off and shop, or just stick to Target all together. Walmart has so much to improve on. I am one disappointed customer. read more

This is just for the Pharmacy... If I could give them a zero rating I would. I have been trying to get a prescription filled but they never seem to have medicines in stock or enough to complete your prescription. And then they want tell you when they plan on receiving the meds. I've came back 7 days in a row for the same answer... Funny I was able to get it filled in Sacramento. I thought the pharmacist would say the same line we don't have it in stock and can't tell you when we will. Surprising her answer was it will be ready in 30 min. read more

I have shopped at this location for many years and it's always a mess but that's to be expected because its Walmart after all. Today however I was attempting to purchase a tire from the automotive center at 6:20pm and I was denied service because they were closing at 7pm. I am sorry but if you aren't closing for 40 minutes then you are obligated to take customers. Walmart proves again that they have ZERO customer service skills and the laziest employees around. Never bought fried chicken from Walmart finally tried to give it a chance I at Albertsons they will give you however many you want just have to eat or order a couple hours in advance but I come to Walmart and try to order 50 pieces and the deli clerk said I can't order that many because I have to order 24 hours in advance! I actually had a positive experience at this Walmart today. I was looking for chalk for a chalk board and seriously could not find any. Anywhere. My husband asked employee Christina and she wasn't sure. So we got in line. A few minutes later she found us in line and had two packages of chalk in her hands. This is one of the worst Walmarts I have ever been in, and I have been in many in this region, as I used to call on them as a vendor. Nearly every department has huge empty spaces because they don't keep it stocked. Especially electronics, grocery, pharmacy (OTC), etc, etc. Though they have a large number of registers, like every Walmart, only a couple are ever open. Many of the price scanners in the various areas (toys especially, where it's very important due to the complete disarray of the entire department) are missing or inoperative. (As a side note, if any Walmart management is listening, about 10 years ago, a manager by the name of Masoud [sorry, can't remember his full name] was Manager of the Porter Ranch store, and he is the only Walmart Manager I have ever seen who did a great job. Hopefully he is still with you.) If I could give less than one star for this store, I would. read more

My husband called today to get quotes from the tire department and an oil change. The first time they had him on hold he waited at least fifteen minutes, then he hung up and called back to tell them no one was coming to phone. We were given another number to call and he was back on hold for another fifteen minutes. I told him to hang up and that I would call and ask for a manager. I was put on hold for another six minutes (by the way your cell phone lets you know how long) until I hung up. Not even a manager could come to the phone. It is absolutely ridiculous to have to wait that long to have your call answered. The pharmacy here is working like a lord..BILLING is taken care of by the PHARMACY TECHNICIAN / PHARMACIST WHO DONT HAVE EXPERIENCE,so they dont approach the other insurance if one insurance refuses.. where as on East side is much better.for the same they used to remind for automatic refills. I asked for NEW Glucometer for my wife it was refused by PHARMACY ,where as when contacted to the MEDICARE ,THEIR RECORDS showed that the same has never been billed to them...as ,being coming under part ""B"" INSURANCE COVERAGE. The person incharge of the shift Mr. LORD the PHARMACIST yesterday.. said change the PHARMACY..which I did today ..& the new PHARMACY which recommended by a friend of mine HAS GOT HER THE NEW ONE WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM. I hope either HIM or WALMART GIVES me in writing for advising the same,as their telephonic conversation is never being recorded for quality control purposes...& never a survey is being done...after the call of that day. I tried to contact the manager right now at Phone number (661) 940-8744 extn 0...TWO TIMES ON 3.P.M.&3.15 call was not picked up. Any way as advised by LORD PHARMACIST I have changed the PHARMACY service for me & my wife.w.e.f. today...& their I got the GOOD & BETTER SERVICE..so rightly said the big is always not that GOOD.. The Wal-Mart was a normal Wal-Mart. Good prices, mostly strange or interesting people, and convenient. The pharmacy was horrendous. I dropped off my prescription. They said it would be an hour. Almost in a way to discourage me. No problem. I can shop. I come back in an hour and its not ready. They said 15 more minutes. I'm a bit annoyed, but say okay. I come back, they only had two of my three prescriptions. I tell them and they tell me they forgot to input one. Thank God I'm not a confused elderly person who wouldn't realize they didn't have them all. They said ten more minutes. It was a lotion. Pull it ofc the shelf and put the sticker with my name on it. Nope! They act like I'm the problem. I never raised many voice. I was just very annoyed. I had three people behind the desk staring at me, with no urgency tho help me. Actually laughing about who knows what, not even trying to fix the problem. So, i got on line for the fourth time. Finally I see them gram a box and put it in the bag and give it to me. Terrible customer service, went in yesterday with my sister so we could get our children's pictures done for Easter. My sister had booked two different sessions as we had two kids. We wanted some photos of them together and some of them separate. We got 2 pictures of the them separate and every other photo was of them together. We got to our session and immediately we got rushed. The photographer spent more time playing with the camera than anything else, she was very rude and unprofessional. We got rushed thru our session as a couple came in to get pictures done that DID NOT have an appointment. We also got rushed looking at the pictures we had taken. The photographer said she was off at 4 so continued to push us even more to choose the pictures. We were very disappointed and very upset by this time that we walked out. After leaving we simply went to grab some few last groceries and walked by the studio and the woman who did our shoot was still in the studio at 5:30. Yvette was very unprofessional and very rude!. Yesterday I shopped in your west Lancaster store as I do often . I live a mile and a half away. After a day running errands all over the valley I realized I had misplaced my cellphone. After a few hours of calling my phone it was answered by one of your employees who heard it ring in a lost and found cabinet .I have no idea who found it nor where they found it. NEVER go to Walmart for a oil change, they ripped me and my sister off. We went there two separate times for a oil change, and the same thing happened to us. When they were done with my car they said "oh you just need a brand new oil dip stick." I said okay thinking mine was just old or something. A week later I went to check my oil and my dipstick was broke off inside of the dipstick tube! They didn't inform me that they broke it off inside!! When my dad finally took everything apart to get it out I have NO OIL, I have about less then an inch inside and it was pure black. We checked my sisters car and it was the same thing! So on top of them breaking stuff in my car and failing to inform me they didn't change the oil and acted like they did. They took advantage of us and took our money due to the fact that we are women and that we don't know a lot about cars. I sure won't be going back to them ever again & I sure will be checking the oil myself wherever I get it changed next. Thanks for nothing Walmart! read more

My comment is about the McDonalds in this Walmart. The service continues to be lousy, and it is time for either Walmart or McDonalds to hire some mature, responsible individuals who can actually interact with customers, and who know something about conflict resolution. I am sick of going into this store, and finding childish, inarticulate girls posing as managers, who have no concept about business, or professionalism. I went into this McDonalds a few days ago, ordered a breakfast sandwich with the meat "well done". The so called manager - Tiandra, asked me if I wanted the entire sandwich well done, or just the meat. I asked her what does it mean to have the bread well done? She looked dumb in the face, and acted like she did not hear me, and proceeded to ring me up. She then said, "never mind, its not important". Shockingly, I looked at her and restated my question, asking again what she meant by well done bread? Her statement was, "it means burned". I then asked, "why does well done mean burned?" She ignored me, and then stated, "never mind". I asked her again, and then stated, "you are talking to me like I am stupid"...Can you believe she made that idiotic statement??? My comment was as follows: First of all, if you feel stupid with me asking you to clarify what your statement meant, then you should not be working with people. These people represent Mcdonalds in the worst way, and unfortunately, there are so many like her, that it is now an epidemic. I question how this young girl became a manager, as she displayed poor leadership, professionalism, and maturity. It is time, I will say it again, to hire people who know what they are doing, who know how to respond to customers, and who can express themselves without acting like a two year old. I wish there was a way to leave negative stars!! I ordered an item online to pick up at the store. After arriving at the store 2 days later than quoted I was able to finally go pick it up. I followed the instructions to check in upon arriving & went to the pick up location & was told to wait in line as they were not aware of the mobile app check in. I waited for just under 2 hours & when I finally got to "check in" (again) I was told it would be another 10-15 minutes (this had been over an hour for those before me that were told the same). This was BY FAR the WORST experience I've ever had picking up an item & I will NEVER shop at Walmart again!!! Good luck to anyone who does!! read more

This store has the worst customer service outside of maybe 3 people. One of which is the sweetest cashier and I just want to put her in my pocket!!! She's amazing and if she's working she is the only thing that changes my horrible experience at this store. If I could I would leave negative stars. Let's face it Going to this store is typically not pleasant. There are never enough lines open and it's usually hard to get in and out of the store. Today on a very rainy day I ran in to get a swing for an infant. I went back to the department to find that nothing was where it should be but finally I got the swing and went to check out. The checker was overly rude (this is normal). It ended up I got the swing that was twice as much because it was put in the wrong space. I had no time to argue so I took it and rushed back to work to soothe a screaming baby. I opened the box and what do I find? A box of trash. Old Christmas bags and I have no idea what else. I called the store and the L/p manager was nice and told me to come back. So out I go in the rain, stand in line forever, and then I get miss crabby associate who is treating me like I stole the item. She sends me back to find another to exchange then when I can't find it or the one I originally came for I got an attitude for wanting my money back then told it will take three days. Seriously? Walked to the deli today to have what I thought would be a fresh lunch. I wasn't expecting very good customer service because it's Walmart and everybody apparently hates their job especially if you ask them to do it. As I walked up and down looking at the chicken and then down to the bakery not one employee asked me if I needed help or how I was doing, not surprised..I was a little taken back that when I passed a group of 3 employees they stopped their conversation I'm not sure if it's because they were trash talking customers or trash talking a mutual friend but they were definitely trash talking some lady. So I go back by the chicken and just stare at the ladies until they're done with their conversation..one lady finally gets the hint and comes walking over I asked how long it would take to make some chicken she advised me she had just made some I said this box right here says 12:10 (it was 12:50) she says no that's different I JUST pulled some out the oven and packaged it up I said okay..she tried to run off but I catch her quickly to get some pasta salad then I go look at the chicken she had told me she just put out...it was marked 12:05. So I told you I didn't want chicken from 12:10 so you direct me to some chicken that was packaged up 5 minutes earlier ?! I just gave in and took the dang thing because it's Walmart the lady was already giving me attitude from the get go and she practically ran away from me..the only employees that smile and are actually polite to you are the ones ushering you through the self checkout..Walmart even though you're in walking distance I no longer need you for the last time you've disappointed me..and your prices aren't even all that..rather walk my happy a** 1 more mile down the road to Albertsons and pay the extra buck and get service with a smile. read more

On December 8, 2015 my wife asked the sales lady working in the sporting goods department for help in purchasing some ammo. The moron sales lady said she couldn't sell her ammo, (no explanation). So my wife had to ask her why. The moron sales lady said she had lost the key to the ammo case. REALLY? So my wife spent the next 15 minutes tracking down the store manager to explain to him what happened. His reply was, "I didn't know that". Wow, today I encountered a very rude maybe prejudice employee and supervisor apparently by the name on AMANDA. Such unsatisfactory service, she not one time called me SIR but as I left she sarcastically said "Have a nice day sir", even though she failed to call me sir during our whole conversation. What a like a smart Alec. This Employee AMANDA "supervisor" should be disciplined!!!! for 1) chastising a customer, 2) making smart sarcastic remarks as I am walking away. TERRIBLE customer service.
