The PUBLISHED hours of this store are 6:00 AM-11:00 PM. Arrived last night at 10:40 (12/23) to be told by a rent-a-cop they were closed already. People began to gather outside wanting to get in to get last minute items. MANGER said they were closed due to "holiday hours" which is utter nonsense. I called him on it and said NOWHERE was that published. He then backed up and said it was due to "capacity issues" which was ANOTHER lie obviously. A father was there with his 4 year old son needing medication and a bandage for an obviously injured hand. The manager looked him in the face and said "that's what urgent care is for" as he literally closed the doors in the father's face (it was not about 10:45. Another customer said this wasn't the first time this store has done this. Management was rude and insensitive to all customers who were there BEFORE closing by at least 10 minutes. If your hours are posted as ELEVEN...then you let customers in until ELEVEN. Corporate HAS been notified. I'm not letting this go. read more

This is the WORST Walmart ever!!! I bought an appliance online and for store pickup. It arrived two weeks late, which isn't necessarily their fault, but the staff lost my item once it got there. I had to wait almost another week for them to find it. I also ordered a 2-year warranty for the product, through email, and I haven't received conformation for the warranty. I called he store and they said that I never paid for one. So I showed them the receipt and the employee said that I have to pay it again because the system didn't receive the online payment. I wanted to talk to the manager, but he or she wasn't there. I ended up paying $60 for a warranty ($30 twice). That costs 2/3 the price of the appliance I was trying to buy! I like that Walmart has virtually everything I need in one place for competitive prices. I came here for groceries, cleaning supplies, and a telescope (For my astronomy nerds, Saturn is closest to earth this upcoming Tuesday!). I found everything easily, except for the telescope. My biggest issue with Walmart, not just this store, is that there are plenty of employees around, but most don't know where to find anything. I asked two women stocking goods where I could find a telescope. One checked her device and said that it's in stock, but she doesn't know where. The other said to check sporting goods. In sporting goods, I saw BB guns, etc., but I couldn't find the telescope. Plus, the was no one to be found in that area. I asked Cindi, who was stocking supplies close by sporting goods, and she didn't even try to be helpful. She simply said that she didn't know, which I prefer to her sending me somewhere just to give me an answer, but she could've at least asked someone or paged for someone to come to sporting goods. Anyway, I went to the customer service desk, and the clerk paged sporting goods and asked if there was a telescope available. Worst experience in a Walmart that I had. Me and my family visiting Kennesaw, GA for my grandson graduation from high school stopped at Walmart Supercenter to get some essentials and was treated at the door by the employee like a criminal, told we should have receipt out to show right away when questioned. The person before us was not asked for a receipt. "Must be we were black while shopping in Walmart" a crime. Very inappropriate by employee who need training in customer service. Twenty years retired US Navy veteran and current Civil Servant is that why I fight to protect this county, horrendous. read more

I bought a helium tank that clearly said $19.99. The tanks next to these were $25. When I get to the checkout mine rang up $25 so I asked the attendant to override it. Said she couldn't and went and did a price check. She came back and told me they were in the wrong spot, but she rearranged them. Ok so can I get it at 19.99 she said no I fixed the tanks. What? I asked for a mgr who took forever to come. She overrode the transaction, didn't say a word. I said thank you as she walked off. I own a business so I'm in this Walmart every day. I was pissed by their attitudes I went to an associate I know who called for the cs mgr.which also took forever to appear. As I'm telling him what happened the first mgr, the assoc and 4 other employees stood together and stared at me. Walmart Supercenter - Love here - Department Stores Near Me - Marietta, Georgia

This was pretty much your typical Wal-Mart as far as what was being sold in the store although it was much cleaner and well-organizaed than many of the Wal-Mart's that I have been into in the Atlanta area. What impressed me the most was the friendliness of the staff. I was looking for an accessory for my wife's iPod and the guy in the electronics department was extremely helpful. When I checked out at the front of the store, the person at the cash register was very friendly. In a lot of the Wal-Mart's that I go to, they usually just grunt at you if you're lucky. read more

Best Walmart I've ever shopped at. Everyone is so friendly and the store is so clean and organized. The store really cares about my shopping experience. I went in to get my son some Lunchables because they always have the best prices and one of the associates volunteered to get me a shopping cart since my hands looked full. I love this Walmart! I know it's just a Walmart, but come on! This location is super sketchy, I never go here in the evening and i dont feel safe coming here. How crazy is that? This Walmart is pretty ghetto compared to others both inside and out. As if that wasn't bad enough, nearly every single item I look at it in any given department doesn't have a price on it or is in the wrong place. I have never written a review before, but the customer service at this location is the worst I have ever seen. Throughout the whole store I have seen the same example of customer service. But it was the two times in the auto shop that put me over. The first time I went in, I stated that I wanted the $19.99 oil change. Then when I went to check out she accused me of never saying that and tried to charge me $35. It wasn't until the manager came over that she gave me the price that I asked for. The second time I came in the two girls that were working in the front ignored me being first in line, and tried to help the people behind me TWICE! I had to interrupt them in front of other people that I was standing there first and I would like to get my car serviced before the person behind me in line. They then got very ugly with me. If you are considering using the Wal-Mart on-line shopping for your groceries, let me share my experiences. At first, I was really impressed. For a, in my opinion for the time involved, nominal fee, you can shop on-line for your groceries and have them delivered to your door...sounds great. Over the past few weeks, I'v noticed a tendency for laziness. I'm starting to receive items that are 'close' to what I ordered. Same brand, in some cases, just not the same items. This goes across the board. I actually went back out, right after the last delivery, to the store and found exactly what I ordered. I understand, in some cases, substitutions, brand to brand, but now flagrant "grab and go". I'm going to back to doing my own shopping. read more

This walmart is well organized but the only problem I have with them is the fact that it takes them a while to get products put back in stock. I just left this store because terrible customer service. I went to look at some earrings and a big storage cart was in the way so I shifted it a little to make room for myself to view the jewelry. A few seconds later a worker comes and ask if I moved it, I said I needed to move it a little to looks at the earrings and the worker says "well you need to move I'm working here". When then proceedings to physically push the cart into me until I moved. Worst experience ever. My friends were shocked because they watched it happened. I was on a disabled electrical cart that they provide for disabled people because my foot was and is swollen due to a torn legitimate and one of the female Hispanic managers stopped me because I had my small Yorkshire terrier dog in the basket on the cart of the disabled electric cart that you drive in the store. She assumed that my dog was a simple pet but my dog is registered as a service dog and i have the service dog card with her name and my name as a handler with me to prove her wrong. Number one if a person is disabled and you see them riding the disability cart with a small dog do not assume that the dog is just a regular pet. That is bias and for the record I myself am Hispanic too. I too understand and speak Spanish being born in Florida so do not talk back to me managers and tell me the sign is in Spanish and in English in the front door. I am not stupid. You all are rude and number two do not put items in the grocery sections for sale when they can not be sold as a single item under the price tag of that item. Open more register lanes. read more

As a rule, I prefer Target, but I do use a few products that are specific to Walmart requiring me to come here. The Neighborhood Market close to my house was closed, so now I'm forced to drive an extra few miles to this full blown Walmart that after a certain time of day is just like every other stereotypical off-putting Walmart out there. Today's experience was highly frustrating for me. I went in for an Equate brand item (exfoliating face wipes), and the shelf was literally bare. Not only did they not have the perfectly suitable STORE brand, but they also didn't have any of the counterpart "name" brand items. This is not a seasonal item, and I do not think there has been any sort of rush for face wipes....so why isn't it in stock?! When I took a step back, I noticed that a lot of the cosmetics department was sparsely stocked. YOU ARE A SUPERCENTER, and I feel like this one is bigger than a lot of others. Typically, if I keep my list small, I can make my WM visits pretty painless, but I've lost all faith in this particular location if they can't keep an obscure store brand item in stock. read more

I was shopping and my husband decided to purchase a 6 pack of beer. The sales representative refused the purchase because I did not have MY ID!!! Here's the scenario: I'm pushing my children in a stroller and MY HUSBAND was purchasing groceries and the beer. I did not have my wallet on me. We were told that everyone shopping with you, including your spouse and children must show ID when purchasing alcohol!!! Never, ever, ever had this happen at ANY retailer before!!!! We asked for a manager and she claimed the policy is in place for college kids who are buying alcohol. Last time we checked, we left college over 20 years ago!!!! WTF!! It only takes a gesture as simple as this, for us to take our business ELSEWHERE!! Target here we come!! read more

Customer service, store neatness, and products in stock depend on what day of the week and time of the day it is. For a majority of the 4 years that I've shopped there, my trips were early in the morning on a weekday. At this time of the day most produce is being stocked and in abundance. The shelves are neat and employees are friendly and helpful. A major gripe of mine is that they only have the 20 or less or self serve check outs open. If you shop by the cartful you'll have to ring it up yourself. Most of the time I don't mind this, but if you're in a hurry it is really inconvenient. Last time I had this happen an incompetent clerk was overseeing the self check out lanes. She stood over me and accused me of not ringing up the celery and carrots I rang up and bagged a few items ago. Really? The automated check out stands weigh items when you bag them. You can't just bag any item without ringing it up. It will say "unexpected item in bagging area" which requires a system override from the clerk. I politely explained that I did and pointed out that I was able to bag them with no system override. I also pointed out that they weren't in my cart "unbagged", but she didn't believe me. Exasperated I went a long with her and let her take them out of my bag and ring them up, again! I planned to check my receipt after to show that she was wrong and get a refund. After ringing up more items she came up to me again after catching her mistake and voiding said items. But it didn't end there. I purchased two orchids that were 50% off. After ringing those items up, she came back and accused me of only ringing one orchid plant. Give me a freakin' break lady! By then I was irritated but kept my cool, because it was clear that she had no idea what she was doing. When I explained that they were half off and it may have appeared that I only rang up one, she didn't believe me and was incredibly rude about it. I had to take the plants out and show her the price sticker on them. I go there quite often and this was my first time encountering incompetence at the self check out lanes. The plus-side - cashiers are very friendly and trying their best to keep the seemingly endless line moving.... Heaven forbid they would open another register.... Store is clean. The negative- trying to get service at the Deli. Workers always seem to be preparing food, but there never seems to be anyone waiting on customers at the counter. Walked away after 5 minutes and getting helpless looks from the employees in the bakery department. Thank you, will spend my money somewhere else and gladly spend more for service. read more

The last time I shopped this Walmart was 3-8-14. Overall my experiences there are consistently awful. They are understaffed. Everyone passes the buck - nobody is empowered to do anything meaningful. When clerks called customer service - they don't answer the phones. Managers don't manage. I ask for them to call the head store manager, they try but there's no response and nobody can tell me if he's actually in the store. Checkouts aren't manned for expediency. I would have been better off leaving than trying to get help in this store by someone empowered to do more than pass the buck. Over time, I have found that any action requiring change in policy is passed to a manager who passes the buck to a higher ranking employee - who doesn't nothing but apologize. Clerks aren't well trained to answer basic customer questions, like "Can I return this item?" Managers accept customers dissatisfaction to the point of not having any customer complaint forms available to the customers. The managers say they solve the problems and don't need the forms - well they consistently don't solve my concerns. They are trained very well to apologize - but I don't want apologies, they don't understand that. I want service, so I'll make the extra effort and go elsewhere. read more

Best Walmart I've ever been to (and I used to live in Bentonville)! The staff is very nice, professional, friendly and helpful - they even approach you to see if you need help finding anything. Auto center has horrible customer service. The associate at the front desk was very rude and not helpful at all. I left my car there for an oil change and was told it would be about an hour and a half so luckily i left. When I called about two hours later to see if it was ready the associate said it wasn't ready yet to call back at a later time so instead I just went back to Walmart to see how much longer. When I arrived about 30 minutes later my car still wasn't done and one man said my car needed synthetic oil and not standard which is what I asked for and I have never needed to get synthetic oil so I knew something wasn't right. Then the rude associate comes out and tells me no one ever did my oil change my car had just been sitting there for what was now three and a half hours and all they did was a tire rotation that was free because I bought my tires from there. The associate was in no way apologetic or helpful at all and I will never ever return to this auto center and I spoke to a manger who said he would get to the bottom of it but hopefully no one has to experience what I went through. read more
