Walmart-Moreno Beach. I ordered groceries for pickup my pickup time was 1-2pm. When i arrived to Walmart at 1:40ish I checked online and its showed my order was picked up 11:59am???? I called the help center number and was on hold for 36 min to file a complaint and get a refund ( they were very helpful) while waiting an emploee came out to ask about my order i gave my name he disappeared for about 10 min and when he came back he took a video of my order and went to tell the manager Maria. She then came and said that someone called she took the call and the said they were my husband and was there to pick up my order gave my last name and first (I'm not married & no BF!!!) she DID NOT verify the order number or that the person was listed as an authorized person to pick up my order. I told her to pull the camera because i want to know what happened she said she would tell security and call the police to file a report and give the license plate. I really think an employee that knows they do not verify pickup orders told someone to come early and get my order i expressed this to the manger and she agreed with me and said it would be investigated. I hope so because i have to wait for a refund my food in the home was running low and i had no groceries to feed the kids. As long as i waited in the parking lot trying to figure this out they could have went and grabbed my order and I could have had my groceries to feed my family totally unprofessional. read more

I come here often before work to grab lunch and the ladies in the morning on the grocery side are kind and wonderful. However, my recent experience with customer service left me upset. I recently was able to order a PS5 online from Walmart.com and added a second controller to my order. The controller had to be picked up from this location so I went and picked it up from the drive up area. When I got home, I noticed the box was worn and looked as if it had been open. There was a slit in the top for a plastic hanging component that was missing as well. I opened the box and the controller was in the box, without a bag, and the right joystick was broken. I immediately put in for a return. This one was clearly used and broken and somehow I got it. Mistakes happen, no big deal. When I went to return the item, the woman laughed at the condition of the box and I explained to her what I explained in the previous paragraph. She cut me off and said "We don't do that here!" I said, "I don't know how it happened but this one had been opened and damaged. I know because I ordered another one on Amazon and the packaging included the hanging tag and bag on the controller." She again said they don't put returned items on the floor. I felt as though she was implying that I had broken it or that it was my fault. Mind you, I don't even have my PlayStation yet, and initiated a return within 30 minutes of picking up the controller. She did ultimately give me a refund but I left frustrated that she made me feel as though I had done something wrong, even though I'm the one who was given a damaged product that I spent $70 on. read more

The employees are rude and completely ignore customers. I had to purchase a $1 cheap LED flashlight and it was locked in a case. WHY?! IDK!! This store locks up some of the dumbest things. Those locked cases are the worst. It would take you less time to drive down the street to Target to get the product, than wait for an employee to open a locked case. I rang the bell twice because the employees turned off the radio notification and waited over 15 minutes for someone to finally come open the case. I could hear the employees radio going off asking for service at the sporting goods flashlight section as I waited and watched. The guys just stood there. They even made eye contact with me and passed me 3 times. Only after I got upset with them for blatantly ignoring me did they actually open the case. I have visited many other Walmart stores in other cities and states and they don't have locked cases, the employees are nice, and they are kept in much better condition. Lines are always pretty ridiculous so I try to avoid coming here unless it's for something small and I can use self checkout. I don't live near this walmart (live in corona) but I was in town visiting my mom and stopped by to purchase a preworkout supplement. A few days later when I go to open it, I find out that it had previously been tampered with. The seal was pealed off at one end. It's irritating enough to find out that I have to waste time trying to bring this item back to be returned. Some positives: good prices and they have a Rally's. Our expectations are always low when we go to any Walmart. It's always the same atmosphere- crowded with the slightly below average customer service from the employees. We were pleasantly surprised tonight when we went in this Walmart to purchase a bike. We expected to have to wait the usual 20+ mins to get any assistance because no one has the "key". However, the African American gentlemen who worked in the back stock area behind the bikes, Paul, went above and BEYOND in getting us the perfect bike. Even going as far as check the bike tires and making sure we were not missing anything. We are completely satisfied customers and Paul has definitely changed our minds about Walmarts customer service. Thank you Paul! In addition, the store was stocked and completely organized! The OGP employees of this store are lazy, neglectful, and uncaring of their customers. This is the closest WalMart location to our home. I have been utilizing the WalMart Online Grocery Pickup at this location. Since I work overnights, I put the order in around midnight during one of my breaks and have my husband pick it up in the morning. This arrangement works for us because it is the only way I am able to make sure that the right things are shopped for and complete. The workers have always been terrible at getting to his car on past orders, always passing him up for more recently-arriving customers. I suspect this is because he is not checked in, but considering I am the one who placed the order on my phone and am too busy getting some sleep for that night's shift, it is not something I fault them for. We have tried to be patient with giving them the half-hour to an hour they usually take before they come around to his car to check-in on his order. Today, they took this too far. My husband woke me up from getting the rest I needed with a call. That morning, when I went to bed at 7 in the morning after I got off my shift, I asked him to go over to WalMart again as soon as he got out of bed and pick up the order I had placed. He had been there for TWO HOURS before an employee came to check on him and ask what order he was there to pick up. And when they FINALLY got around to him, they could not find an order placed under my name. Half asleep, I had to groggily check on the app for the status as to why this could be and here's the kicker: they had cancelled it one hour before. So basically they had him wait one hour to pick up an order they decided to cancel even though he was already there and waited another hour just to rub salt on the wound and tell him about it. Why? I don't know, for shits and giggles? We're both pretty pissed and for good reason. There were less than 10 items in that order and they thought that dispensing it to a car that was already waiting for them in the Pick-Up Parking Spot was more trouble than it was worth than to just cancel it altogether. It's disgusting behaviour. I don't understand how they are still in business. Not only are they inconsiderate and lazy, but I don't like the way they've been consistently treating my husband who picks up my orders for me when I need to sleep. He has the longest patience I know and they've been taking advantage of that during all the times I've ordered here. read more

A place that hires enough employees to do the work. A place that doesn't expect their customers to touch the same kiosk that ALL the customers touched with no gloves or cleaning. This location isn't the best in providing excellent customer service. Many employees are rude & lazy. It's not acceptable for employees to just say "It's over there & point you in a direction" they should be able to walk with the customer to ensure you find an item. Many times there are not enough registers open, leaving customers waiting in very long lines. Bathrooms need to be cleaned more often, they're often dirty and smell. read more

This makes it twice in a 2 week span that I've bought milk from this Walmart and have gotten it spoilt! I'm 5 months pregnant and suffered severe stomach illness because the day I opened it and used it, it didn't have a smell but after being sick for two days after I came back to check and sure enough the milk was sour! Before repurchasing the second one, I even checked the expiration dates and all of the milks there expire within that week. Being pregnant my digestive system is already not working properly and having spoilt milk was the biggest discomfort ever. read more

Original intent of this review was for the auto care center. Took car in for an oil around 3:00. I knew it would be a couple hours as they only Al had a couple techs and a line of cars. But I returned around 4:30 to check l my car was still outside waiting. A while longer still not ready, they hadn't even pulled my car in. At around 7:00 cars that weren't even there while I had already been waiting 2 hours were already getting finished. It's now 7:55 and my car is getting finished, literally the last car done. Cars that arrived at 6:00 had come and gone. Don't know who the driver of them cars were, but they must have been pretty. Now I expand my negative review because I've been trying for the last hour to call the store to speak with a manager about this, but the phone rings and rings, and rings, and rings, and rings. Horrible service, brought my car in for oil change and it was so far the worst experience I've had due to them not doing their job properly. My car leaked all the oil they put on and my car overworked itself to the point where I inhaled the smog from all the oil spilled, put me in danger because I had to run a couple light because my car wasn't performing well. Staff wasn't friendly when I brought it back they tried to say it wasn't their fault. Turned out it was completely. I'm a frequent shopper for some staple items here. But today made me want to pay the extra money for a more enjoyable experience. My sister and I came in for a few items. We went to self check out where only 2 of the 8 stations were open. We were rudely greeted by an employee who said her name was Tyranny with a name tag that said Unique. She proceeded to tell us it was card payment only and we said that was ok. She then said "It's 15 items or less" we said "ok well we have 15 items." She then proceeded to STAND OVER our cart and COUNT EVERY ITEM. Then stated "No you have more." We asked since we're already here if we could just use the self check out. There's two of us so we'll be fast. To which she said ok. We began ringing items up and the machine stopped allowing us to scan. We look at her and she said "I didn't say you could scan your items here you have more than 15." In awe we were confused as to why she'd do that when she stated we could use it. We also stated how that was rude, to just cancel our order from her little phone. Very obviously looking for a "power move." We then proceeded to go to the other self check out which stated "15 or less" and asked if we could use it to which her coworker allowed us. We had 16 items. 4 of which were 2.5 gallon waters. It was a disappointing & unnecessary interaction, it really seemed as though she didn't want to be working, as she kept turning people away in a very rude and aggressive manner. This walmart has horrible customer service, Im not exaggerating. I was put on hold multiple times resulting in an hour and a half long call. Once i was "helped" it seems that the girl forgot she put me on hold and I tried to be very understanding and calmly explain the situation and the girl in the electronic department simply hung up on me. Its very frustrating that every time I visit this store no one in the electronic department knows how to do their job. Do better at training your employees. read more
