Things I like about Walmart. You can purchase the same items sold at Publix for considerably less money. Since they turn over their groceries fast, freshness is always a plus. I have found their Milos sweet tea with artificial sugar is the bomb. I purchase by the gallon, and it does such a great job of satisfying my tea craving. Unlike popular national tea brands (pure leaf) its always in stock. What I dislike strongly about Walmart is the people think they are on I-75 and are always cutting you off, turn in front of you without looking blocking the isle by parking in the middle. What a joke clearly does paper said the following cards cannot be activated which was the $50 gift card from Apple. The cashier did not notify me that the Apple gift card was not activated. What is joke. I had talk to Walmart in person on the phone and they said the same thing we cannot help you contact Apple when I contact Apple. Apple said we can't help you contact Walmart now I've been on the phone for an hour and a freaking half with somebody from Walmart and they did not help me . Walmart may be cheaper, and delivery is convenient, but not when the stupid driver just randomly cancels your order and returns it to the store when tracking says they are only two stops away!! This is just one of multiple issues I've had with pick up and delivery from this particular store. The Neighborhood Market has been GREAT for pick up every time. This Walmart needs to somehow fix their issues. I hate stepping foot in there too, it's chaotic and too many workers running you down with huge restocking carts, making the CUSTOMER move out of their way. So rude. Worst customer service ever. You walk in in the morning and the donuts are never ready. Not an issue if they are willing to prepare them for you. But God forbid you ask them to box some of the donuts that are on the racks. So instead of the dozen donuts, I grabbed the smaller boxes of six each since that is all they had. Here's the thing. You pay about $1.50 more. So I told them I wanted to pay the price of the box of a dozen since I'm still taking a dozen. They said they couldn't do that. I left all the donuts in the cart and walked out. I then called corporate. I'm not holding my breath about a callback. Or people just don't want to work nowadays. I came in for a simple tire patch & wiper blades. I was quoted 40 minutes for my car to be done so I decided to wait & walk around. After an hour I come back to check on my car & they tell me another 30 minutes "maybe". 30 minutes later I go to check & see them just pulling my car in the bay only to tell me 5 minutes later that I need a new tire, which will add on yet another 30 minutes. Then when I complain the guy obviously could care less & just offers to give me my keys back without any repairs. Not even an apology for the terrible communication. I would have gotten picked up had I known I would be stuck here well over 2 hours. Vehicle was finally finished or so I thought, until I had to remind them about the wipers. read more

Employee reached around me to provide feedback on store register on how I would rate the store and my experience. She clicked on the highest approval rating which I would not have. It is a shame that this store is so unorganized. Looking for a car seat and nothing is where it should be, they have almost no car seats in stock, yet there are about 20 on display. 1/3 of the baby clothes I brought to the cashier had no tags... My daughter got harassed in the parking lot by a man selling pies. When we tried to let the door person know, she kept saying "okay" because she had no idea what I was telling her. Standing and aging in checkout lane #2 for a long time. The checker (Marie) uses one finger to ring up each item. She also has vision issues so the combination has slowed down everything. Pan to helicopter flying overhead with a guy on a loud speaker saying "this is customer service, hold onto the rope". This place is huge! I read it's something like 250,000 square feet. They have everything here. Grocery area is hit or miss but the prices are a fraction of Publix so if you can get it, buy it. read more

Grocery pick up is amazing - highly recommend! We've been using the grocery pickup and love it! Great prices, amazing customer service and always ready on time (usually early!) One week our eggs were all cracked. I went into the app and receiving a refund was extremely quick and easy! The employees who bring out the groceries are always super friendly and smiling. read more

Tried curbside pickup, 6 of my items not available. When I ordered did not state out of stock. When told my order was ready did not state any items not available. An hour after I received an email stating 6 items not available. I believed they lured me in by not stating what items were not in stock! Publix is honest and states what is not available. Where to start? It seems all badly performing businesses blame covid for their bad reviews, but I don't buy it (no pun intended). When the hospitals jump on this bandwagon, I'm outta here. This store seems to forget to put up price labels. There are no working "price check" machines, so you're on your own. Twice now, I bought an item that was price labelled, but it rang up higher than stated. I was told the price increased but they haven't gotten around to changing the labels. Things are on the wrong shelf, so the price tag is for another item. Everything you want to buy starts a hunt for the matching bar code. The only two redeeming qualities this store has are: 1- I can walk here (it's that close and convenient) and 2 - most of the prices are good (if you can figure out what they are). read more

Walmart instructed me to go to "Pick Up" for certain items. The "Pick Up" was not in the customary labeled "Pick Up" section but rather in a new hidden "Pick Up" section that was not at all clearly labeled. After driving around for several minutes looking for the new section, I found it, checked into the parking spot, and waited for the pick up for 25 minutes. I went in to the store 3 times. I complained and the workers couldn't seem to care less and didn't bother to help. I called the "Pick Up" desk and a surly staffer came to my car and told me I was "not in their system." I held up my phone indicating that I had "checked in" to the designated space. The staffer grunted that she would retrieve the items. She returned several minutes later, threw them in the back of my car, and walked off without so much as an apology. I will not return to this store EVER!!!! read more

If there was a zero star rating that is what I would give this store based on not just today's experience but nearly every time. I used to tell myself I'm getting the best price but honestly Aldie's is my new grocery store - although the selection is limited - the experience and ease beats them every time. I used to say doesn't matter that every single time I grab a cart at this location it's guaranteed it'll pull left or pull right. I used to say it's OK that most of the employees that work there speak English as a second language and always seem more focused on stocking then helping. Heck - it's all about getting the best price, right? Well today I finally have drawn a line in the sand and I will never go back. I was at customer service doing a return and I saw signs that stated their money orders weren't working today. I had just over $30 in quarters and wanted to use the coin star machine. It was my first time so I asked to ensure the machine was working properly and they said yes. When I didn't get a receipt I was directed to one manager after another after another to only be told that because it's a third-party company there's nothing they could do for me today. They proceeded to hand me a 1-800 number along with the manager's name. How confident am I that I'm going to get my $30 back? Not confident at all. That is the last time. I'm so disappointed and what I save it's not worth the frustration and disappointment over and over again. read more

Walked in at 10:45pm. They were closing at 11pm. Grabbed about 6 items and went to the self-checkout registers. There was only one with the green light on and 2 people in front of them. it was 11:05 by now. Turns out the 2 people were employees.. one of them didn't have the uniform on so I didn't realize it until later. He turns to me and says "The store is closed, you have to leave the cart on the side and go..." I thought it was another customer and got confused... he comes towards me and said... "the store is closed, you need to go, at this point you are trespassing!" - I looked at the other person, who I noticed then was an employee and said "I think I need to talk to a manager" - the man answered.. "I am a manager"... at this point I noticed the yellow jacket folded under his arms. I'm still a bit surprise and confused as of why is he being so rude and he says "you only have a few items, so you can come back tomorrow... what's the big deal?" - so I decided to simply leave. I got to my car, looked at the time (11:12pm) and decided to call their Corporate office to complain. They took the complain and said a manager will call me. No one called. I called back few days later, they said they had follow up with the store manager and that they will call me back. The manager, Bobbi, called and left a message to call him back. That was impossible, as every time I called he was either gone for the day, or they would not pick up, or they would pick up and when I ask for him they would drop the call.... after 1 week of trying I gave up. 0 out of 5 read more

The grocery delivery service is horrible and not reliable. I ordered groceries online and they claimed it was delivered and it wasn't to my address. Delivery driver does not contact you although requested. Customer service doesn't help solve the issue. Passes you off. I am waiting for a credit card credit for my entire order over 14 days. And now I co-star in a People of Walmart video. On my way in, two raggedy headed urchins pushed past me, making me jump to the wall like an extra in a B-movie chase scene. All I saw of the two were four feet, running from the automatic doors. Maybe they were looking for shoes and had to leave early. There were four different colored fluorescent socks that separated their rude tootsies from the hot asphalt. Impressive. Inside, I found a half dozen choices of aspirin. As this was an errand for someone else, i was failing to match the product descriptions on the boxes with the generic request to buy "baby aspirin." I spoke my question in a low voice to a very helpful pharmacist. Without looking up from his workbench a good 6 feet away, he announced "81 MILLIGRAMS!!!" I got my answer along with curious looks from the sick and afflicted who were stil waiting for their meds to be filled by Walmart Pharmacy's Bob Uecker. One bent over customer in cammies and a screaming red sunburn lifted an eyebrow , giving me one of those looks that telegraphs, "Yeah, I'll BET all those narcotics are for someone else." Oh my gosh. This Walmart STRESSED ME OUT. As a Chicagoan who has spent time in Walmarts all over these United States and particularly Florida (including Tampa, Miami, Fort Walton and Panama City), I can tell you that I have never been to a more excruciatingly slow-paced location. Positives: The store is clean, the prices are low and the staff is friendly. Negatives: The experience rivals dinnertime at a nursing home. SO MANY SLOWWWWWW MOVING PEOPLE. No way to get down the aisles, no rhyme or reason to the way people move around the store. Stray children everywhere. A shopping trip for 4 items took me 45 minutes. Cluttering the aisles with shopping carts of merchandise to be stocked not only blocks things I might've looked at but also makes it tight squeeze for customers to pass each other. The TV playing so loudly in the electronics section not only made me leave that area but also the office supples section - it was that loud. By far the reason I was really disappointed with this visit and probably won't bother going back for awhile is bc I like to play the claw machine game. I already paid for my merchandise and stopped to play on my out but the Walmart greeter kept coming closer and closer to me until he was literally standing within 6-12 inches pacing around me and then just stoping and staring over my shoulder. At 1st I didn't realize it was an employee and was concerned it was someone trying to take my purse while I was distracted. When I realized it was an employee it just made it worse bc it was creepy and totally ruined the fun I usually have losing my money at the claw machine. :) Actually I have won stuffed animals at that machine before but I didn't have a chance at all tonight with the creepy employee breathing down my neck. More importantly it literally made the entire reason I went to Walmart instead of Target not worth it bc it was that silly machine that I was looking forward too and it was on my out so it just added to the other things I don't like about that Walmart. And to very clear, my merchandise was clearly paid for, in bags and I have every right to play that machine so why the employee spent that time making me uncomfortable instead of greeting people entering the store or watching those exiting is beyond me. Moreover the machine is INSIDE the store and the greeters are always in the hallway between the outside doors and the store entrance. It may seem silly but it is the reason I will be driving a block up the road to shop at the SuperTarget which is brighter, less cluttered, organized well, has helpful staff, and quick checkout. The quick checkout tonight was a pleasant surprise as those lines r usually exceptionally long or just slow. I always wonder why they've got so many registers bc only a few are ever open irrespective of time of day or day of week I've been there. Why not have a few less so the ones that r open could be wider so it's not claustrophobic feeling and there's enough space for the next in line to start putting things on the conveyor belt. read more

While on this trip to naples walmart to pick up sun screen, there was a banana boat employee moving in product who attempted to help us with buying sun screen? Pretty awkward because we don't like the products he was trying so hard to get us to buy... Very few employees spoke English.. Couldn't find draw string bags even after asking employee who just pointed and grunted in a random direction. The Walmart itself was clean-ish but some pretty disorganized isles.. Three people told me the garden center closed at 9.. do what they want when the supervisor is apparently not on because he did not answer his phone.
