Super-sized with groceries. It's large, its huge, its has food, groceries, clothes, supplies, lawn goods. You can trick yourself spending more money than you planned over the convenience picking up one more thing. The grocery side is the attention grabber. They offer typical selection of clothes. Somehow, I think they may have skimped on the housewares side and I don't feel they have the selection of hygienics you could find in a See Vee-S or W-Greens. If I could give this store a negative I would. I have been in customer service as crew member status up to senior management for 20 years. And I couldn't imagine talking to customers the way the employees and managers do at this location. So with covid I guess they have no staff apparently to keep the customer service desk open. When I asked what time they closed I was told it depends anywhere from 6-9 pm. Depends on the staffing. Now I've been trying for 2 months now to catch them there after I get off at 6 but am always disappointed. So I found the online start a return. Figured it might help aid in the speed of my visit. So I left work early to return stuff to the store that I started the return online. Just to have the women literally crab at me the whole time. When I apologized for her inconvenience she just got more ignorant. I said I was only trying to help by starting it online and didn't mean to cause a problem. At this point im trying my best to remain calm and after a good 25 min I wad able to leave and felt horrible cause now the line was awful and of course she is the only one there. Came in June 7, 2018. Experience shopping was awesome every single worker asked if they could help us find anything. When me and my friend checked out, we went to aisle 7 around 12:30. Can not stand this Walmart. I try to avoid it at all cost. But it's convenient and when it's 1 am and Walgreens does not carry it I suck it up and go. The lines are always horrible. They need to staff a lot more cashiers. There have been times when I just leave because the lines are freaking backed up into jewelry. And the staff on the floor is non existent and rude. Was trying to find a toy story shirt. And they did not have the size. So I tried to find an employee but the only one I found was in the electronics department. She told me her gun does not scan clothing ( which is an out right lie, because I used to work for Walmart back in my young retail days and I know for a fact that those guns scan everything. She was just being lazy) I bit my tongue, trying to hold my anger. If you try to find anything, everyone says they same thing. It's down that aisle. It's over there I think etc. I tried to buy a fishing license once and it took me thirty freaking minutes to find an employee who had to find someone who knew how to work the machine. The store has stopped carrying a lot of items and continously rips off the customer with its bar code pricing. You have to watch every item they scan. I have reported an item that continually rang up wrong for over a year. I spoke with corporate even talked with the store manager who assured me it would be fixed in the computer. Well 6 month later it was still not and when I told a clerk about it she stated they don't even have a store manager right now. I came to the conclusion they just don't care. How sad !! This store has really gone down hill. The last few months that I have gone there they have been out of items. They were out of microwave popcorn, ALL microwave popcorn, for about a week. Today I went there for advil, All ibuprofen except for 2 bottles was gone. They have a problem with ordering merchandise and then stocking the shelves. The shampoo and conditioner that I have bought there for years has been sold out for over a week. There is an empty spot on the shelf where it used to be. If you walk in the store and look around, there are empty shelves everywhere. So i drove out to the Lake St Louis Walmart and guess what? The employees were courteous, the store was clean and the shelves were well stocked. I guess that is my new Walmart. Ofallon Walmart sucks! read more

What a dump. I stopped going to this place after realizing that: a) the employees could care less. b) the store is a disaster and looks like a tornado hit it every time you are there. c) The prices at Target, Schnucks, Dierbergs, Macy's - you name it - were cheaper than this place. d) Customer service is non-existent (see "a" above). Low prices? Nope. I feel for this this lie for years, then started really paying attention. Wal-Mart rarely is the lowest, and in a few instances were the highest. Their automotive service department is well stocked and they provide great customer service. We had our oil changed and replaced 4 tires. Excellent tires at a competitive price. No coupon clipping, they already have the lowest prices. They always work us in unlike other automotive service providers. The best part was shopping while our car was serviced. We were there on a weeknight. The shopping experience is fine except lately product seems to be out or very low quite frequently. That's fine. However when we went to check out, there was not even 1 line open! The one open was finishing up. We were told we could use self checkout. Not with a full cart! It was 10 pm. This location is always busy and NEVER enough cashiers. I asked a manager who was talking with other capable cashiers and was told it could be a little bit. One manager was nice enough to check us out otherwise I was leaving the $180 cart. As we were checking out another gentlemen came up to ask how much longer to get help at customer service. Was told 5-10 minutes as they were all in a meeting! He had already been waiting a while. I watched people leave their carts. Ive gone to this location since they've opened and the checkout area has always been an issue from not enough, rude or incompetent. However, there's never been a shift change issue because that doesn't happen when scheduling correctly. After all of that, no apology. Apparently that's just how it goes. Couldn't do the survey online because funny, my code wouldn't work. Then I was only allowed so many words on websight. So, I'll write it here. What is sad is they really don't care as a corporation because they know they'll keep making money. Where do I begin? Don't waste your time. I've been a few times and never had a good experience. I asked an employee in electronics where a movie was that said in stock online. He said "I don't know" and walked off. We went the other night and they were up dusting the ceiling. They proceeded to dust right over our heads, dust falling all over us. They could have waited till we grabbed what we needed. The cashiers are never friendly. They don't greet you and never act like they're in a good mood. I Called this location to see if they had a trail camera which another store showed they had but didn't. I was on hold for about 7 minutes but was told ahead of time by the last week answered my call that the person working sporting goods was with a customer but would be with me as soon as she because free. So totally understandable. Once my call was answered I informed the worker of my item and description and she went to look for it and came back quickly to tell me, yes they did have the item. She also verified that what she had in her had was the correct item. She told me it was 118.00 but I told her online it showed 88.00. She recommended I do store pickup so i could save money, however Walmart wanted me to wait 2 extra days to pick it up. I wanted it right away so I went to the store and mentioned their price match policy. I didn't had no issues with them honoring their policy and left a satisfied customer. read more

They're currently going through renovations, so I won't be too hard on them. Selection isn't much better than a small-town Walmart. Service is friendly enough but they had a chance to go the extra mile and didn't. I went there looking for an item that was in stock x3 in their store and no other store within a 50-mile radius had it, and out of the 3 employees I asked for help, not one of them took ownership of my needs and helped me locate the item. An hour later, I gave up. I had to yield to a young blond employee who was text-walking through electronics (she looked to be coming off of break, so maybe she worked in a different department). In electronics, CCTV monitors have been flickering for quite some time, and many display items (such as computers and the monitor connected to the Alienware Alpha console) were turned off. Staff does look better-trained and more professional than the St. Charles Walmart off I-70 and the clientele is less shady, but for O'Fallon, this store should be much nicer and the staff should perform better. read more

Are you ready for this? Walmart says, "Walmart is committed to providing you superior customer service and a pleasant shopping experience". But, Walmart is not committed to anything but their bottom line - the almight dollar. My "pleasant shopping experience" included being treated to droopy pants and colorful underwear of one of their employees, on more than one occasion (as if one was not more than enough!). It's bad enough when you have to be subjected to it in public. Inexcusable at a place of business. Terrible customer service. I went to this store to pick up an item i ordered online. I went to returns there was a long line. I finally reach the associate and he tells me to go to photo area. There is no one here i push the screen at that area for help after 3o minutes total waiting around for help I decided to go look for help. The first associate told me to wait until the lines go down for returns and someone would help me. Of course she did not know they are the ones who sent me to photo. The next associate I ask for help said she had to go find some keys and would be back. She did not come back. Finally someone at returns said she been waiting awhile you go and help her. The associate from returns told me she had not seen anyone in photos for 2 hours and they could help me in returns. It took her less than 5 minutes to get my package. I decide to call the manager i was put through and was on hold for awhile. I call again no picks up. read more
