This is my Black Friday edition review. I showed up to Walmart this Black Friday excited to see the deals they had this year.... It was the lamest thing I have ever witnessed. The sales were pathetic , so to save you the heart break don't go to Walmart for Black Friday next year or ever. The workers were very rude when I asked them if they took apple pay. They seemed annoyed and got mad at me and said no very rudely.

Haven't had an issue until today and both the driver F-ed up and customer service was zero help. They need to reevaluate the way they deal with problem solving. I ordered groceries to be delivered this morning and it never came. The driver ALMA provided a drop off photo and it was 100% not my door. We have a distinct door mat and the photo provided didn't even have a door mat in it. I even went around my complex to check the other buildings around us. And nothing. I left a bad review for the driver and took the tip off!! I called the customer service and the only only I had were to wait 7-10 for my money to return so I could REORDER my groceries. The lady said the local store would have sent me back to them for help and she said that because there is a photo providing proof of (wrong) delivery, they can't access the order to reorder the items. I asked if she could just have the order redelivered at not charge instead so I could get my groceries and she said she couldn't access that because of the photo attached by the driver. WTF So now I can either spend more money today that I don't have or wait a week or more for my money to come back so I can afford to get the groceries again. The Walmart tire center at this place is the most dysfunctional establishment I've ever seen. If I could give zero stars I would. We had a warranty on our tire and had a nail stuck in the tire. After looking at the car for an hour we were told they said they could fix it for free under the road hazard warranty. We waited another hour and a half and were then told they would need to replace the tire and that it would be 28$ for the replacement fee, which is annoying but fine. After another 2 hours (4.5 hours at this awful Walmart) we were told the car was done but that it was 88$. Couldn't imagine a worse experience in Kabul dealing with the Taliban's tire shop read more

I actively avoid shopping here, especially inside, because it is always busy and the parking lot can be hard to navigate, BUT the Walmart pickup service is SUPERB! We are going on week 6 of utilizing this awesome tool, and swear our kids will never see the inside of a store until they're 12 with how incredible pickup is! It's totally contact free- use the app to order the day before. Pick a time, get notified 15 minutes before your groceries are ready, pull in to a slot, let them know which one you're in, and BAM, your groceries are in your trunk before you know it. It has been a fantastic experience every time, and Walmart really seeks to give you the best when they don't have the item you're looking for. Thanks Walmart! read more

I usually never write bad reviews because I don't want to be mean, but I write this in hopes that maybe something someday will change! Here it goes.... I usually avoid this Walmart at all costs!! If I have to go to Walmart I will drive from Orem to Spanish Fork (because that one is actually decent) just so I don't have to go to this Walmart! Beware of parking at this Walmart. All the signs say "no overnight parking". They say nothing about not parking. Our daughter just graduated. We decided to leave her car in this parking lot so we could all be together as we went out for lunch. Little did we know a towing company was sitting in the parking lot watching and waiting to boot every car that decided to use one of the hundreds of empty spots. Great way to lose your customers. If you don't want people to use your parking lot put up signs that are obvious. Don't take advantage of unaware people just to make a quick buck. Purchased on line some canning bottles, for which I was to pickup. Just as I was to leave, I got a text/email which said "due to high volume, etc. Walmart can't fill my order." BUT , I noticed that there were several other canning products on-line, so I went the extra distance to get them myself off the shelf at the store. Results: The whole canning area was almost empty. I am a 55 year old man who happens to smoke cigars a habit I started while serving in the US Navy. on 2 separate occasions I have been treated poorly by the representatives in the smoke shop. 1st I ask for a cigar and I have to walk them through the process because of their lack of knowledge. 2nd I have been carded for ID and asked to verify my date of birth out loud and 3rd it was repeated back to me with my name. Both women said it was company to do this to every person who buys tobacco. They said my name and date of birth out loud to everyone in line so my personnel information could be shared. the sign and the register states " if you look under 40 we will card." I asked about that and I was told the 4 posted signs were wrong and the register had not been updated. The worst part about it both were Hispanic. Ok, yes I know it's Walmart, and no, I don't love Walmart in terms of its style or selection of clothing or home furnishings, however, you must admit that for basics in food and household products it is the CHEAPEST place around to find what you want. I would get groceries here quite often while living in Provo because it was so much cheaper than any grocery store and the grocery section was very easy to navigate. I could get in and out fast! On Wednesday night, 18 December 2019 between 10:00 and 10:30 p.m. I was at the Walmart Supercenter to pick up some more wrapping paper. I was looking at a Blu-ray Disc in the electronics department when I was suddenly struck, run over and injured by a fully loaded pallet. The employees showed zero concern for my injury. One employee told me "you're okay, shut up!" That employee was not on the clock and was distracting her coworker. Another employee showed up wearing the nametag "Leprechaun", I asked him to call for a manager. I let him know I was hurt. Once again the female employee that was not on the clock started to shout and swear at me. I asked "Leprechaun" to tell her to stay away until management arrived. That's when "Leprechaun's" mother (yes, you read that right....hIs mother) told me to shut up. I did not see a nametag. So I asked if she was an employee. She said "no, I am his (Leprechaun) mother and you need to leave". When I said she was not an employee and she had no business involving herself in the incident her son, "Leprechaun" started to snarl and growl at me. His mother had to tell him "no, calm down!" That is when Allen their ASM showed up. He had me fill out paperwork in the security office. Their loss prevention officer reviewed the video footage and it shows just how hard I was hit by the pallet. I was spun around and thrown into the shelf. At no point did ANY of the employees offer me any sort or medical care. At no point did any employee ask if I was okay. At no point did any employee offer to call for medical help, an ambulance, anything. They didn't have the proper paperwork at the time of my injury available. I had to go back into the store the following day and speak with Michelle. They kept me at the front of the store where I had to PUBLICLY state to one of the other managers what happened. Let me mention that once again, at no point during that process was any sort of medical/first aid assistance offered. I have severe pain in my ankle, knee, hips, lower back all the way to my shoulder and neck. Their representative from CMI, has not even made any arrangements to get me seen by a doctor. I was injured by the blatant negligence of their employees. I will now have to pay for medical treatment out of my own pocket for injuries that I sustained by no fault of my own whatsoever. read more

So get this, I'm a Bushcraft enthusiast and it was my first time in Utah, let alone Provo and I'm coming in here to pick up a knife from the sporting goods section because I couldnt fly with ones I already owned and buying a new one was cheaper. Coming in it looked like any other WalMart so no big surprise there, I made my way to the sporting goods section and began checking out the selection of blades there. There wasn't too much in stock but that wasn't a problem as I know my knives and what I wanted. I get in line and there's two others ahead of me so I wait. Gets to be my turn and the cashier, some child named Xander, decides he wants to just take off from the register. Now giving him the benefit of the doubt, I figured he was simply checking in back for one of the customers who was ahead of me. One of the ladies in line behind me asked where he went and I said I didn't know, she goes and looks for him and sure enough, there's Xander just straightening product on the shelves trying to do anything in his power to not have to come back and ring me up. He makes his rounds to an aisle I can see him on and I call out to him to come ring us up as we had been waiting as well the others who were after me. This Xander kid, clearly upset at being called out huffs and puffs his way over to the counter and I tell him the exact make and model of the blade I'm buying, suddenly he can't hear, so I have to repeat myself a couple of times. Xander eventually figures out where the knives are right in front of him and produces the one I asked for several times, the other customers behind me huffing and puffing at Xanders lack of professionalism in what is supposed to be his section of the store. I made my purchase (finally) and left. The customer service at the store is particularly bad and this child Xander was not only rude to me but those who were in line after me. Terrible. I should mention that I am Black, I didn't think that should matter but I kind of get the feeling that it did. A nice warm welcome to Utah, thanks Xander. read more

I've been taking my car here for oil changes because it is conveniently located and a few dollars cheaper than nearby places. Unfortunately, I had an awful experience today when I picked up my car... Usually I purchase the cheap conventional oil but today I decided to start using synthetic in my Nissan. I was told that in addition to the oil and oil filter replacement, they'd also vacuum out my car. I thought that was a neat added service (just like at Jiffy Lube). However, my car was not vacuumed. That is the least of my worries. I headed out to my car to find a Walmart Tire & Lube supervisor standing in front of it. SMOKING. Then when I got to my car door, I noticed a used condom laying on the ground. That was disgusting to say the least. These two unpleasant findings were infuriating but perhaps what happened next is the reason I'll never go back to this trashy Walmart for an oil change again. I decided to call the manager of the Tire & Lube department to tell her how my experience was - hoping that she'd make it right somehow. She didn't. Instead, she apologized for the inconveniences and assured me that she had no control over any of these frustrations because: 1. If I had any items on the floor of my car, it's part of Walmart policy for the lube tech not to touch or move anything when vacuuming inside the car. That was her excuse as to why my car wasn't vacuumed. I can respect that. But my car is completely empty because it's not a trash can (like other peoples' cars). 2. It's a law in Utah that you can't smoke within 25 feet of a public building - which to her apparently means that you can smoke anywhere you want if it's 25 feet away. So that's why she has no control over who is smoking and where they're smoking. Uh, hello? YOUR employee was smoking right in front of a CUSTOMER'S CAR - YES you DO have control over where your employees smoke. That was highly unprofessional (but who expects Walmart employees to be professional, anyway?). 3. The parking lot is "not her area". I beg to differ. Show some accountability or tell me something more satisfying. Walmart, you suck. My stereotypical thoughts about you have only been solidified. Train your employees and management properly. Wow! I have never seen worse customer service IN MY LIFE! I went to the electronics section to buy a specific game. I asked one of the employees if they had it in stock(it was not on the shelf). He scanned the barcode and told me, "yep, we're all out of that one". Then his manager came over and scanned the barcode and it said there should be 2 copies in stock. He told his employee to go look for it at another spot on the sales floor for me. I was told to wait and he would get back to me. I wait for 20 minutes. The electronics manager is working 10 feet away from me the entire time. I finally get fed up with waiting and I go to the manager and ask if they were ever going to tell me if the game was found. He said, "That employee went to lunch 15 minutes ago". I asked him why he kept me waiting if he clearly knew no employee was going to return and give me service. He just turned around and walked off. How does someone get to a managerial position like that when they clearly have no customer service skills to speak of? I'm appalled at the level of apathy these employees exhibit. read more

I bought some speakers there for $100, went home and they didn't turn on so I went back the next day to return them and the so called manager Taggart said I had to go through the manufacture to get a replacement. I hate Walmart...I really do. It's never a good experience, EVER. Shopping on a Tuesday 7pm, the lines are long at the 4 open registers, that's right..4 The self checkers are open but the lines are long there as well. Where is the manager? Several workers wander through the lines but they don't open any more registers, they just look at all us pathetic shoppers and keep on going. I have now been in line for 15 minutes...my milk will be spoiled before I get checked out. Extremely poor management. I keep thinking it might be different each time I come here but it never changes. 20 minutes and counting and still no more registers are open. 28 minutes in line and I'm finally through and out of this hellhole. It's a Walmart. Nothing special that sets this one apart really. They keep it pretty clean and well stocked. It's always pretty busy in here, as it's right by a university, and not far from another and right off the 15. If you go late, they only have self check out options, which I typically like unless something doesn't ring up right and I need extra help. I do wish they had more options for organic foods in the market area, but that's trivial. read more

My daughter ordered items and paid for them, then was given a time to pick them up at the west parking lot. So convenient with a little baby in the winter--she didn't have to take the baby out in the cold. An employee came to our car to get our name. Almost as convenient as drive-thru service. read more

This is the second time I ordered something from them on their app only to get an email 7 hours later saying it was out of stock now, so they needed to cancel my order. When I ordered it, there were 2 left in stock (they were big furniture pieces) and I doubt two people had these huge pieces of furniture literally in their carts right when I ordered. Clearly the workers are unorganized and took 7 hours to grab my item from the shelf to prepare for my pickup. Very unprofessional. Two times in a row! I ordered it online in order to put it on hold.
