During my visits, I purchased pre packaged peanut brittle, fresh baked cinnamon roll ($1.99), hand scooped ice cream (I believe a double scoop was $2.99), an acai bowl ($6.99) and a made fresh to order English muffin sandwich ($3.99). And lastly, items rang up incorrectly because the sale signs were never removed. A trend I'm seeing at Publix lately. I was confused at first as I knew I did pay and secondly annoyed as the very elderly gentleman who had served me had taken a very long time to do so and I was now in a rush to get to my next location. Upon being "escorted" back inside by this worker I pulled up my Bank of America app and saw that I had in fact been charged for what I bought at Publix. I let this man know and with his adrenaline running he said "you'll have to work it out with them!" finally we reach a manager who became apologetic and stated that the old man who rung me up then continued to serve another customer on my bill ...going to MY CARD. Yet I was made to look like I had robbed the place in the parking lot. How quickly this employee's reaction went from thinking he had found a huge thief to completely sheepish. All in all it was an okay run while it lasted (I say okay because as previously mentioned it's not that great of a Publix to miss in the first place) but on principal I will never ever shop here again.

During corn season there were tables piled high at a great price and by evening everyday, they were left bare. I love the white corn and yellow/ white corn that you put in a pipping hot steamer for just 3 minutes. Beet greens and fresh apricots have the highest amount of natural vitamin A - - combats/ helps prevent cancer. My dad, a prof of biochemistry, gave us skills in preventive medicine and counseled us against preservatives and hydrogenated fats in foods. This store has wonderful vaulted ceilings going up 15 + feet streaming beautiful rays of sunshine upon us as we peacefully shop. This past year they modernized and greatly improved/ made much safer the entire walking area in the front of the store. I haven't been in awhile but love the new layout of the store. Seems like it was needed to fit all the products and to make the aisles more easily accessible. The line for sandwiches was 5 people deep, lines at all the checkout counters as well. Bought fresh peaches, cucumbers, potatoes, and more. Rave: do NOT leave the store with one of the new blueberry handpies. This is probably the best handpie I've ever had. I popped it in the airfryer and it came out so flaky and gooey. Not insanely sweet either. Wish I bought more of them. Ate it too quickly to get a photo so I looked one up, it's wrapped in parchment paper and in a basket next to the donuts.

Now that I've been to a bunch more TJ's I must say they have a lot of space in this location. Usually the aisles are pretty cramped but this one is super nice and spacious. Parking lot is ok, not bad at all. The worse one to this date is still Tampa. Since Sarasota has a new Trader Joe's in UTC, I often go there, but this one is still a good one. UTC parking lot is the biggest being in a strip mall, but I think I think I like this one better.

Welp, DEFINITELY not for this location. The layout is perfectly not overwhelming, it doesn't fully force you to go into the store in some kind of zig zaggy way while bumping into people and getting kicked off as you're trying to walk through the aisles or with the staff anxiously unpacking boxes and restocking product. What I love the most about TJs in FL is of course the easy access and low cost wine selection. So we of course loaded up with some delicious wine and Prosecco. Loved this store so much, the staff is so so kind and friendly. Wish every Trader Joe's experience was as easy as this one was!
