Worst place to come and shop it is filthy disgusting, the bathrooms have no up keep. I went to the restroom the door locks do not work I walk in on a guy which I felt mortify because the guy was on the toilet and honestly that is wrong not to have privacy when you are in your most vulnerable. The floor was full of urine. Spoke to the assistant manager of the store instead of trying to find a solution by saying they are going to fix it his excuse was the kids break the locks. The men's bathroom stall has not privacy for the toilet in the back. There is a 2 inch gap where you can see everything on that stall. I'm disgusted by wal mart of how low the standards are for a company that sells food. If there is a a standard they have none. This Walmart store has the most rudest employees ever! Came in with my mother and she simply asked a question to one of the many idiots working here and before my mom could finish her sentence she said " I don't speak Spanish "!! She came off rude and bothered maybe because we interrupted here gossiping with another employee. I stepped in and told her that she's coming off pretty rude and needs to be more professional to customers even if they only speak one language. About 15 minutes later I noticed that she was in fact speaking Spanish to another associate. Like seriously why work here if you don't like your job? Why would anyone hire people who only come to work just to gossip and loaf around. Management should pay attention on the sales floor and correct unethical behavior . This has to be the Walmart with the dumbest employees. I went in on Mother's Day with my two sisters to buy some stuff for the Mothers Day feast I had planned. While there I decided to develop and buy some pictures from my phone. While waiting, I went to the fish aisle as I promised my youngest sister two new fish for her tank, ALL OF THE FISH ARE DEAD! It's disgusting. It doesn't stop there, I bought some ink for my printer and they have to make you purchase the ink at the photo center and so I decided to ask about my photos. This idiot informed me that he didn't see my order and then looked at his hand and they were in his hand. I then asked him if it were okay if I purchased all of my items at the photo center and he confirmed, doing unloading ALL of the things he informed me that a majority of the stuff I had he couldn't do at his register. I had to load my cart again and go to the electronics section. I went to the register and a cashier comes and goes to the opposite side of the register, turns and says "oh that register is closed" when he was walking towards the cash register, he was staring at me and couldn't mention it while he was walking. Walmart on 47th east is the absolute worst! I've been overcharged twice and purchased a hair straightener that never worked. I've been trying to exchange the straightener and get refunded the amount I was overcharged. I've went in to talk with the manager and they sent over a child Chelsea who does not have good customer service skills. I explained to her why I was there and had my receipts in hand but was told they would have to check the cameras. After she said that she walked away and never came back. I've also called to speak with store manager Lenora or lemore. Anyways the 2 different women that got on the phone said they did not have to tell me their names. One said "I don't have to give you my name if I don't feel like it" and when she answered the phone she was talking shit about someone. She never said thank you for calling Walmart or how may I help you and that is why I asked for her name the other said "I'm not giving you my name, I don't know your name or who you are and I'm not the same person you were just talking to. Btw after calling the 800 number to file a complaint twice on how poorly the employees are treating customers, I have not heard back from anyone not have I received my refund. I understand everyone has a bad day but come on. I don't believe they could have been anymore unfriendly or rude. As much as I shop at Walmart because of the prices and because they carry a lot of items other stores do not, I believe I will not spend one more penny there! They need some serious training. I know for a fact a few employees at the Eastside Walmart including the assistant manager (and her husband who is also a Walmart employee) steal from the store. Upon contacting the Management about it, I was told flat out, we can't ask and we cannot do anything about it. So let me get this straight, you can reserve the right to not serve someone without a shirt or shoes, but you can allow people to put their dogs in a basket that hold food?????? This is happening more frequent in this particular store. Now, as Management you do understand that it is against the LAW to have any animal in your store whom is not a SERVICE Animal????? You see SERVICE Animals are marked, trained and do not ride in baskets? Not only is this against the law, it's a health violation. The worst store in the antelope valley but sadly close to my home. They only gave 6 electric carts and most people using them are just too lazy to walk. I had disk replacement surgery and I need one and have had to leave the store and go elsewhere. On January 23 I went shopping at your store #2950 my receipt number in case you want to verify my info is ref # 402400132850. As I was shopping I decided to see what you charged for Geyser sparkling flavored water, I usually buy it at stater brothers because they have been selling it on sale for .99. I saw that yours was $1.50 I checked my purse and saw I still had my receipt from stater bros. for the day before and I thought your stores did price matching. So I take 9 bottles to the register along with all my other purchases and I tell the cashier I have the receipt to price match the water she starts to ring them and then says do you have the add? I said no just the receipt showing what I paid for them. So she says we only ad match. I wasn't aware of this, I had bought some other items about two weeks ago and they price matched them for me so I said since when and I told her that I had price matched just a couple of weeks ago. She said well I can call someone and I said ok. Then comes this women stomping up to the register and I told her about the price match, she was so rude. uncaring and condescending. She said we don't price match, why do you think they call it Ad matching! My sister who was with me told her you do not have to be so rude. She just rolled her eyes at us and walked away, her name was Rhea and she said she was a manager. She was mid to late twenty's, African American and on the heavy side, way on the heavy side. If this is what is ok and tolerable to you and your stores I will just have to start shopping at Target, I may pay more but at least the employee's are polite and helpful. This is the third time in this last year that I have experienced this kind of treatment at this store. I complained the last time and after about two weeks someone called said I'm so sorry and that they would look into it. I am a Manager for a major pet store chain. If my employees acted that way it would be taken care of asap! But a manager? What happened to make your customer happy? What were we talking about a couple of dollars when I rarely spend less than $200 every time I walk out of your store. This time sorry doesn't get it. HORRIBLE store, HORRIBLE customer service. Every single time I'm in the store, I either have trouble finding what I need or they don't have it. For some reason, most of the aisles have huge sections missing like they never stock their shelves. Forget about getting any help in the paint department or the fabric department. IF you can get an associate to help you, then they call someone to come help you but no one ever shows up. The checkout lines are a JOKE! There's only 3 or 4 lines open at any given time and the line stretches all the way back to where the merchandise is. Not to mention the line moves SO SLOW. They close and lock the main entrance doors at 8pm which is extremely inconvenient and the garden area is never open from the outside. If you want to go in the garden area you have to do it from within the store. Also very inconvenient. They have employees wandering around doing NOTHING when they could be opening more registers. I was happy when this store opened because I live right down the street. Unfortunately I have to visit the one on the west side because this location is SO HORRIBLE. read more

I don't even want to give this store 1 star!! Went yesterday, I've had horrible back pain and wear a back brace all the time. Went here and used one of the motorized scooters they provide. When my husband and I were done, I was getting ready to go out the doors when the "greeter" told me to leave the cart inside so that it wouldn't get stranded outside. I told her I had a bad back and it hurt to walk, and she basically insisted that I leave the cart inside. I left the cart inside and I told her that she was very rude for asking me to leave it inside. She did not offer to take my bags that were in the front basket. Then proceeded to "thank me smugly" when I was leaving. Needless to say, I will pay the gas to go to a different Walmart next time. This one has lost my business!!!! Had 2 items to get milk and tea.looked for the jugs of tea where the soda and water is, not there asked the worker where it was ? Had to tell because he had his music in his ears, then he didn't know what a jug of ice tea was. Finally found on the seasonal section. Then to register, self ones not open, got 2 registers open one with overload of stuff and one with less with a kid as cashier Luis. I put the divider in front of my 2 items and one in back. The people behind me put there stuff on the counter. As the lady finished paying ahead of me, luis asked were these mine? I said yes. Then he rang the 2 items and asked if the stuff on the OTHERSIDE OF THE DIVIDER WAS MINE? I told him no that's what the divider is for. I paid . Quickly leaving. For automobile oil changes, this is one of the best values to be had, considering the dilapidated condition of my vehicle, which dictates that I spend as less I can. The thing is on its last leg, and I've used Wallymart for oil changes often and nearly exclusively when I don't do it myself. The reason that I won't give a higher review, is because they advertise the auto service center open until 7:PM. I arrived at 6:30 and saw only one car in their bay. The attendant approached my car to inform me that they aren't accepting any more vehicles for the day. This reveals that they are making so much money in this department, that they can afford to turn away customers. Additionally, out of respect for customers' time and effort, they ought to truthfully advertise that their department closes at 6:00 or 6:30PM. It's absolutely UN-f'ing-professional to mislead and disrespect those responsible for their employment; us customers. For that reason, I won't be returning to this location, but will try some other locations eager to accept new customers instead. read more

He says he doesnt know how to open the alcohol cabinet, and tells me to go ask another person. So I ask this fat bitch, and she gets on the piece of shit sounding page system they have to call someone to the alcohol. So I walk all the way across the store again to the alcohol, hoping to see a worker somewhere on the way but nope! Lazy mother fuckers. I will drive all the way to the west side just so I don't have to shop here. The staff is rude, some cashiers and greeters will acknowledge my exhistance but I can tell they hate their job, trash all over the parking lot, hey walmart how about putting some trashcan out on the parking isles so I don't have to stop over dirty diapers to get to the door. The restrooms are horrible. The last time I was there was early morning and the bathrooms look like crap ,literally trashcan still full, smelled like urine, doors broken no paper towels, no toilet paper, told one of the workers and they looked at me like I asked them for a pint of blood. I know this is a lower income area but east palmdale Wal-Mart goes above and beyond to constantly remind its customers of their lower standards for hard working poor. Shame on the management. i'm sorry to state it but the atmosphere compared to target as far as customer service is concerned isn't very good. target has kind workers and the atmosphere is positive, giving an overall positive experience. i frequently see individuals stealing and children playing on the floor, people yelling (both associates and customers), i quite frequently hear arguing between customer to associate, and customer to customer. there has been an issue with rain water seeping through the ceiling which is inconvenient and in my opinion seems as though the business doesn't care too much about safety issues for employees or associates, which all together makes for an overall either not so good experience or bad depending on when u r shopping. i gave walmart 3 stars instead of 2 because on the plus side the pet selection is amazing for small pets as well as walmart selling absolutely everything u need from food, home renovation, furniture, and pet supplies to car supplies and cleaning items. if i am unsure where to buy something or if a certain place sells something i always go here and over 90% of the time i find what i need just not in the best atmosphere:/ read more

This palmdale store on 10th street west gets no stars. A couple tried to rob my purse by doing the basket switch while trying to get popsicles in the freezer section. I had turned my back from the shopping cart for a couple of seconds to reach for some Popsicles in the freezer section. I noticed a man with a basket of natural light in the vicinity prior to reaching for the items. Next thing I know is I hear a quick commotion behind me. I reach over to grab (3 inches) to feel what I thought my basket at my hip. Go to put two boxes of items in the basket. Now I was facing a basket with a case of natural light and mine with my purse in it was gone. Correct -not walmart's fault of bad people doing bad things. I immediately scan the are for my basket. The basket is gone. I approach the closest manager and am told there is nothing he can do and walks off. No advisement to security, no assistance in locating my basket and purse, no advisement to the other employees to keep a lookout... He just shrugs his shoulders and leaves. I immediately run through store... Scanning every aisle....... Then I identify my basket by the strap on my purse.... A lady was in the clothes section loading clothes over top to try and hurry and conceal my purse. I approached the lady an told her to get away from my purse and to step away from my basket. Of course a whole lame excuse trail on how she acquired the basket... Up a 4 am, I did know blah blah.....the horrible thing is Walmart attracts these types and absolutely do not care about there customers in need of help! A phone call to the security department after i grabbed my things and left they seemed to be professional about it, but the fact the customer service manager did nothing and openly did not care is inexcusable!!!!!! No response from the corporate office in bentonville , ar after notifying them on a survey....no one from my family will be shopping at a Walmart again! So today we came to this Walmart and we were going to use some coupons we printed off of the Internet. After we get to the front of the line the cashier tried scanning the coupons for like 2 minutes and then left without saying anything, I guess she wanted to go ask a manager? When she comes back she accused me of making copies of the coupons and that's why they won't scan. I told her that I didn't copy them, but that I had actually printed them out off of the Walmart website. She then left again without saying anything. This time she comes back with a policy book and says it's policy that they can't accept the coupons but then turns the book away before I could even look. Walmart on 47th St in Palmdale ; Today we silently suffered with one of the slowest cashiers, but it happens. Then when we insert our charge card in the micro chip reader as it requests, the cashier asks for my ID. I showed her the drivers license. Then the cashier says she needs to see the card. We told her it was in the micro chip card reader and it said Do Not Remove Card. She asked if it was a charge card and we said yes, but only the last three letters in our name was still showing out of the machine. The cashier came around to verify the message. Then became very condescending and told us it was for our own good that she asked to see the credit card, I told her that no other store had asked to see the credit charge after it was already in the machine. She was rude and acted like she was doing us a favor by proceeding with the purchase. I showed her the card when the transaction was complete, and again I got another nasty remark, and then told to have a nice weekend. If Walmart wants to see the credit card then a sign should be posted on the micro chip credit card reader to not insert the card until directed by the cashier for security. This has not happened at other Walmart stores. Micro Chip readers / credit cards should not be utilized by the store if it is causing security problems. read more

So i went into the tire side of walmart today. I was greeted and told that they were missing someone so it would be long about an 1 hour to 30 minutes. Okay thats fine. But we are waiting and it ended up being way longer then that. And also i was quoted 60 bucks and i ended up paying way more for such shitty service. First off my friend was Yelled at because of being in the garage. When theres no signs or warnings. That'S not even the worst part. So i hear my car is ready so i go out to it. The same man tells me that he had to much trouble getting my hubcap plate back on and that he stuck it in my trunk. Well my question is why are you working if you cant do the simplest of tasks? Thats not even the worst part. As i was leaving a white man had told me wait. I had food and drinks in my hand that i just purchased. He wanted to see all of my receipts for everything. Take into account the same man warched me purchase all of it and even saw the printed receipt. He was being extremely rude wouldnt let me go. And i know why just because i have tattoos piercings and a side of my head shaved he juddged me thinking i stole all of it. Now i didnt realise to after i got the hell out of there..almost 20 different nationalities walked threw the same doors. He didnt ask them for shit. I also asked the previous guy if he could check my other tire to make sure it wasnt leaking as i ran over a horn before i came. He said fine. There is a beautiful woman on register 10 and her name is Miss Dee. My daughter and son bought so much crap it wasn't even funny. She went out of her way to actually get us a second cart to help us out. Even though we were kind of annoying because we bought so many crap and there was a long line. She was so kind and generous with a big smile on her face. Every customer she treated with exactly the same way with kindness and a big smile. I always go to Walmart and most of the time I always get bad customer service and get the stink-eye because I buy so much crap. But this lovely person with a lovely heart even notice my children as little human beings. This person should get a promotion or the employee of the month because she actually did what a customer service is supposed to do.
