We just came in for aguas frescas, and the lady who served us was so nice. They currently have agua de guayaba for a limited time. We ordered the medium size and they are huge! What can i say about this store besides its amazing cashiers and how kind and helpful they all are!! I was able to visit this store earlier this week and I was greeted by the young and beautiful young woman named Evelyn who was just the sweetest thing. She was so kind and helpful in helping me find things and during the checkout process. I walked in and was greeted by this warm smile and it appeared that she was on break since she was sitting down but to my surprise she still proceeded to ask if i needed any help and pointed me in the right direction to find just what i needed !! When I went to go checkout she was also working cashier and as soon as i got there she asked me if i found everything all right and instantly made small talk with me which is rare nowadays. She quickly helped me with my transaction and bagged everything so perfectly everything was organized just the way i wanted it and since my bones aren't the best she even helped me load it back into my shopping cart. This young lady was absolutely OUTSTANDING and definitely had a bright future ahead of her. If i was a manager there I'd give her a raise and show her appreciation for working so hard !! read more

Do not buy meat from there! This is the second time I bought T Bone Steaks from them and they were terrible. Tough like shoe leather! I called the store they put me on to three managers and on hold and told me they do not guarantee the quality of the food after spending 30 dollars on the steaks. Amazing pastries at this Vallarta, seriously, I think it's a 5/5 for the Mexican pastries. Let me just say that I didn't realize how great they are until I moved. I just had some "orejas" that are nowhere near the quality of the ones I'm used to here. The food bar is actually pretty good too. There's a variety of aguas frescas and food. The food also look fresh. Can't necessarily comment on the taste, but look ok. Seriously, this place has variety and catering options. There's also coffee in the morning, which I never had, but you know it's there in case you want to stop by. The produce is okay. Most of the time you can find what you're looking for and at a good price. I actually miss this Vallarta. read more

This place is always packed. Like the products and vegetable section. Bakery is nice I suppose and so is the store decorations. Bathrooms available and overall its clean. Meat is better quality then the other store and more people waiting to help.The only problem is the lines and lack of cashiers. This is a busy location so you would think more cashiers but nope. The bakery selection, although very wide, lacks in flavor. I purchased a tiramisu slice and a chocoflan slice and they both were below average in taste. I am very frustrated with the store i shop at every other week. Every time I go to this store no one in the dam store seem to know the codes for none of the items I eat. They're always asking me the codes as if i work there. It's not my job to remember their item codes. Then when I call to complain after I left only to not speak with a manager as i requested. Not one of the better locations if you ask me but as always, they are pretty consistent with what they carry. You can find pretty much everything here that all the other stores carry. I've taken a few trips to this location but none have been as wonderful as I would hope. Slower service, rough crowds and not in the best part of town. I was really thirsty and thought this place would sell some genuine horchata. Vallarta like Puerto Vallarta Jalisco Mexico I thought, yeah they'll have some. I guess the heat in the Antelope Valley made me delusional. The place is full as I enter and full of merchandise. The merchandise seemed very inexpensive. I waited for a while so that someone could help and pour a cup of horchata. Finally someone approached the counter where the aguas frescas (fresh waters) were stationed. I asked the lady if the aguas frescas where made from scratch or were they made from the syrup or powder horcata mix. She didn't know. Then I knew I came to the wrong place. I was still thirsty. So after she poured the fresh water I couldn't pay there, and had to go to regular grocery cash register. The plus side is that they have plenty of cashiers and registers open. La Cocina(kitchen)-there's this big fat guy that thinks he's all that. Produce- its good not really any problem whatsoever(eggs are 60% of the time broken) Seafood-it cool they have nice friendly fast service 80% of the time.they have some good stuff(GOOD) Meats-most people really don't pay attention one time I asked for 1 pound of ranchera(its sooo good)then the idiot guy gave me 1.67 pounds so I asked for a refund and they gave it to me Customer Service- it OK but there's one slow lady that CANNOT count properly(sometimes she gives you more or less money) but most count faster than you( and me) can blink. Cashiers-some are nice some are mean the manager is SUPER helpful. most times though the cashiers make "errors" to see if you're $paying$ attention Service-the overall service from 1-10 is 7 cashiers never put in coupons and make on-purpose "mistakes" they sometimes don't have enough cashiers Its a good place to go shopping ;) hope you don't get the mean grouchy people!!
