Walmart is gonna Walmart , no matter where you go in this world. Lol Came here to pick up a few things. Some parts of the store were in the process of being renovated during our visit. We found it a bit challenging to navigate the layout of the store. I ended up having to ask for assistance. The young lady who "helped" me wasn't too helpful. She also was on her phone. Ugh After we finally located what we needed, we got out of here. Like I said, Walmart is gonna Walmart. The pricing is always going to be competitive. The selection will vary based on the location. Unfortunately, customer service seems to consistently lack throughout the Walmart brand. read more

Everything everyone said below is accurate, from the good to the okay to the bad. It always depends on the day & time you visit. It's Walmart, so the store isn't always in order, some days a dozen stockers will just take up too much aisle space & be surly if you try to get around them... you need to deal with it... some items will be out of stock or out of place, whenever I've had to ask for help, they're not helpful, many don't speak English & I always find what I need on my own. You have all sorts of customers & workers at this location, many impolite. It's always bustling, rushed, people in other people's ways & attitudes. Still, I don't come here for lots of items. I come in for a few things or one thing cuz I'm nearby. Good to Know: The WM in Lynn Haven is much more upscale with different merch & groceries, a nicer group of employees & since it's in a more upscale 'hood shoppers are nicer, polite, slower paced a bit. It's more like a Target than WM, so if you want to have a more leisurely shopping experience, head up Hwy 77 4-5 mi & shop there. They usually have a better grocery & deli selection, as well, although one thing at ALL WM's is... their deli fried chicken is horrifyingly inedible... dry, little meat, all coating & bones & drenched in salt. It's horrible all over the country. 3* out of 5. -1* for the brusk, hurried pace & always feeling like I'm in everyone's way. -1* for the surly stocking employees. read more

As Walmarts go, I found this one to be A-OK. It wasn't grubby, I was able to find what I needed, I was able to pay quick enough (two of the self-service checkout machines were down), and there was plenty of room in the parking lot. Maybe they could have cleaned up the candy stock at the registers a little better and I think the cart corral guy may have been on a long break, but it was a Walmart. What else can you expect from a walmart?!?! Most of them are people who works there that are being pay less than what they think they expect, in result turns out that the workers never wanna help the customers. I rate grocery stores on if they are clean and it is easy to find things. This Walmart was pretty clean and didn't not have trouble finding what we needed. I like when you can go in and out of these places with little time in them. Check out was fast. So that is why I am giving it the rating. read more

Walmart on 23rd St. Panama City, FL. Absolutely the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've ever witnessed or been given. The customer service department staff are a nightmare to deal with regarding exchanges and refunds and on top of that, extremely RUDE! With the receipt in hand and ID, they offered me no options but to refund the debit card that purchased the GIFT. Hello people, GIFT. Their policy states with receipt and ID, you have 3 options. Refund cash up to $25, receive a gift card, or refund the credit card used to purchase. I wasn't given ANY choice or option. I wasn't even asked by the associate. Way to go Walmart on 23rd Street in PC, you've LOST another customer. We're dropping like flies because you're hiring the wrong people. I recommend you start at the top and clean house. I get to check out with my things and all but one of the things I wanted to purchase had incorrect prices. I had to cancel my entire purchase because they wouldn't give it to me for the price that was on the shelf and go back through the store for replacements. While doing so an employee came to check the prices against the tags where the items were placed and saw the issue. While doing so he saw that there were many other mistakes in the same area. Stockers even put items on the shelf that didn't go there. That is a major problem that needs to be fixed! Customers shouldn't have to be dealing with that and doing the job the same employees should be doing especially when they have their hands full with their kids already. Legal action will be taken eventually by someone if this doesn't get resolved. Especially with how bad I found it to be today. If I had a full cart and had that happen I would be fuming and demanding I got the price on the shelf. I would not go back to find items to replace what I already got. read more

This is a filthy store. The bathrooms are disgusting. It's so close to all the attractions, you would think that they would make sure their facility was top notch. I said good morning to the manager and she said nothing until she was passed me then grumpily returned the salutation. I can only imagine what a treat she is to work with. read more

We stopped in for flowers for a friend and soda for the weekend. We found the store to be clean with lots of open registers and a self-serve check-out flowing smoothly. The store was well organized and well stocked. For Walmart, this one is one of the better ones. If you hate Walmart, your experience here is going to be much different. If you go to Walmart because you have to, you'll find this one to be reasonably clean and friendly (ish) staff. read more

This is probably one of the dirtiest Wal-Marts I've ever been to... I try to limit my visits as much as possible. Sometimes I'll travel all the way to Panama City Beach's or Callaway's Super Wal-marts. BUT, it's Wal-Mart nonetheless... They do have reasonable/cheap prices on a large variety of items. This particular Wal-Mart has a Subway restaurant just inside the door. I have eaten there once or twice when I have succumbed to my children's begging. It was your average Subway. No complaints from me! Anyway, enter this Wal-mart with LOW expectations of cleanliness, but you'll probably still find what you're looking for! read more

Customer service is very bad. self check out don't take cash and they dont have enough cashiers to suit the amount of sells. I was in line to return something behind another woman. It was 10:03 pm & the woman at customer service said they they were closed. I said, "You are currently helping someone." She told me yes, but they close at 10 pm. I asked to speak to a manager, I waited for 7 min. A night manager named Sandra "Sandy" approached me. I told her that my dog is sick & I cannot make another trip up there & asked if she could please help me with a return. She looked at me, like a deer in headlights. I told her I have photos if she doesn't believe me. She just said...no we can't help you. I said well could I please get your District Managers name & number please? She replied, just call Walmart. I asked her if she could please right it down. She then got an attitude with me & told me John Tow...his name is John Tow. I asked her again if she could please write it down & I also asked her for her last name, which she refused to give me & said with even more attitude..."No, I'm not giving you my last name!!" This location is terrible & obviously we know why!!!HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!! Another thing...whenever you do have a return it takes 30 minutes standing in line. So the customers time is expendable, however WALMART cannot afford to keep their customer service area open to assist its customers! Absolutely ridiculous! read more

This Wal Mart is like any other. Only dirtier, smaller and scarier than the others in town. It's like the old Wal Mart came back from the dead. It's still nasty inside, the floors are GROSS, and the atmosphere? Well, let's be honest, we all go to Wal Mart reluctantly and we always leave with a strange tale to be told. I shop online a lot and it is so easy. You will receive a text or email when your order is ready for pick up. Then you pick up and pay all at once. The selection is better online too. They have so much to choose from! Shipping to the store is free or if you want it shipped to your home the fee is small. read more

Ok for some grocery and household items. But I get better deals on food from the Piggly Wiggly on 15th St. Forget about the deli here. They will have several workers there running their mouths and ignoring you and their job to keep the deli food stocked up. It was only 3 pm and they hardly had any food and it looked dried up. Today is my best friends husbands birthday. We stood at the Bakery for TEN minutes waiting for someone to assists us. We were patient at first until several workers walked by in the back. I went to the Customer Service Desk and asked for them to call someone. She called the person to page someone over, they never paged, so she walked with me to the Bakery. Once we got there there was a lady YELLING that no one was waiting and she was standing there the whole time, mind you was a lie. I made it VERY clear to her that there was 3 of us standing there and we have been waiting. So then a bigger man came over and said there were no cake decorators and proceeded with an attitude. So the sweet lady I asked from the customer service was talking to them and even then the bugger guy and rude woman still were being rude with the nice lady. By this point I was over it so we unloaded our whole buggy and went to Publix instead! The store was dirty everywhere you went, the people behind the deli and Bakery were not wearing gloves which is a major health code violation. I am MORE than happy to go to Publix and spend a little extra money on my items to get GREAT customer service. read more

I went to this walmart 3 weeks ago.. my child was weighing some tomatoes I told him to put them on the scale.. I seen from the corner of my eye a guy named Marty that works at Walmart sort of standing over me and my child.. when I turned around to face him.. he looked at me with a nasty look and yelled at me.. he said don't let your child play with that scale.. you don't have enough money to fix it... I was so surprised that he said that to me I walked away.. today I went to Walmart again I was getting some veggies my child as always grabbed a fruit and placed it on the scale..to my surprise there comes Marty and yells at my child.. I was happy that this Wal-Mart had opened back up after the remodel they did to it. They have lots of variety of groceries and they also have clothing and home goods. The staff are usually pretty friendly. My visit today was not so pleasant. I was in the men's bathroom in the back of the store, while I was finishing up, a lady all of a sudden yelled "maintenance"! I guess she was going to clean the men's bathroom, so I finished up, and I said "Sorry m'amm let me get out of your way." Even though I was trying to be polite, she did not even say it was okay or it is alright. Here is the worst part of my visit: I was getting some avocados, and I was trying to catch up to my family walking toward the self checkout lanes to wait in line to checkout. So what do I suddenly see? This old man came walking up behind my brother and said "Out of my way!" and hit my brother in the back of his feet twice! He also skipped us in the self checkout line when we were clearly there first. We did not even know this guy. Yes, I get it, he might have been in a hurry, but he can get his tude straight and not take his anger out on another customer, (someone he does not even know.).
