This Walmart is overall a solid place to shop. I especially love the liquor shop. It's convenient, well stocked, and definitely one of the highlights of the store. Everyone I encountered seemed friendly, but I want to specifically mention a woman who helped me in the health care section. I didn't catch her name, but she was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. She took the time to answer my questions and made what could've been a frustrating stop feel easy and pleasant. That interaction alone really stood out and made the experience much better. She also showed me where some GREAT clearance items were in the health and care section which really was helpful! I really appreciated her doing that. She seemed like she loved to help. The only downside was the restrooms, which could use some improvement and better upkeep. If that area were cleaner and more maintained, this Walmart would be one of my favorites. read more

On February 5, I came to this Walmart location to return several items that were incorrectly delivered to me due to Walmart's own mistake. These were not the items I originally ordered. Before coming to the store, I properly initiated the return through the official Walmart app, exactly as instructed. The app generated a valid return barcode and clearly stated that I could return the items in-store at the customer service desk, with a return deadline of February 14. This was shown directly in the Walmart application. I brought all items in full, along with the valid barcode, and presented everything to the customer service desk. Despite this, the store manager refused the return, repeatedly claiming that the return window had already expired -- which was factually incorrect. I multiple times showed her the barcode and the Walmart app instructions, clearly indicating that the return was still valid and within the allowed timeframe. Her response was extremely unprofessional. She stated that she "doesn't care about the Walmart app" and continued, in a rude and dismissive manner, to repeat that she would not process the return. This is unacceptable. The Walmart app is Walmart's own system, and customers should not be punished because a store employee refuses to follow it. The behavior I experienced was hostile, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. At some point, it became clear that continuing the discussion was pointless. I was not dealing with reasonable customer service, so I was forced to leave without resolving an issue that was entirely Walmart's responsibility. This experience represents a serious failure in customer service, a refusal to follow Walmart's own policies, and a complete lack of basic respect toward customers. I do not recommend this location unless Walmart addresses the behavior and training of its management staff. read more

My wife and I were in Panama City Beach over the off-season and I am not usually a fan of Walmart, but this one is really nice. Big beer and food selection, a Subway, pretty good staff. I don't like that they check you out the door now, but I get it, but I don't think of Panama City Beach as a "High risk" town, but I am not a local. I never went into the liquor store, but my only complaint is that it took awhile to restock their beers in the cooler sometime. It had pretty good prices and a nice produce selection as well. They even had the hot sauce samplers you could buy for $1. I liked it. Also it was a mile walk from our place and we didn't have a car, but you can get by with two feet and a backpack. read more

Walmart super center located in Panama City beach Florida that gets crazy packed as it is in all of the hustle and bustle of prime Panama City beach locations. The store itself is very large and pretty clean. The prices here are tourist high and they don't really seem to carry off brand or wal mart brand as much as other wal marts ive visited. It took us forever to find the bread. Hint for other out of towners. Look for the alcove labeled bakery and on the backside of that hidden in the corner is a small aisle with bread. It was ran through and only had a few options but they do sale bread. Overall a typical wal mart but just mich higher priced and more crowded due to being on a tourist hot spot. read more

I had to grab some groceries for the week and ended up coming over here. The parking lot wasn't as busy when I arrived and there was a lot of parking space. I got a lot of great options for food and snacks for the week. This location has a lot of self checkout options, but the bags are extremely tiny and can barely fit a carton of eggs alone. I suggest bringing bags from home to save you the time. The food is organized and stocked pretty well too. The biggest downside of this location was that I had purchased an Amy's Ravioli microwave meal from the freezer section to eat after shopping. I normally get this meal whenever it's available, so I was looking forward to enjoying it. I ate it as soon as I got home after barely eating anything the entire day and within less than an hour, I experienced the pains in my stomach and nausea. My face felt hot and clammy and I felt extremely ill. This meal tasted fine, appeared fine, and wouldn't suggest otherwise, but it made me feel so sick. For a packaged food product, this has never happened to me before, so it completely shocked me when I felt this way. I don't know if this is a not removing expired foods, or a bad batch on Amy's end, but it did break my trust for sure. The experience scared me to try the deli section's cheese I purchased and it ruined/prevented a lot of food and meal opportunities because of the single meal. I think that alone brought this experience down. Otherwise it gave me the stuff I needed. read more

This Walmart is located in Pier Park and sits directly on Back Beach Road next to the Target and behind the Starbucks. Being in good ole PCB, this Walmart offers a few extra things that your average Walmart doesn't including an Airbrush Counter where you can get your favorite PCB trip memorialized via an airbrushed shirt, hat or whatever else you want them to do. They also have an expansive deli and bakery section that offers quite a bit of variety. Lastly, and maybe the best part, they also have an onsite liquor store. This Walmart is the definition of "one stop shop", especially for a beach trip! In addition to the extras, this location is well maintained, especially for the amount of folks that pass through on a daily basis. The parking lot, along with the interior including the bathrooms was clean and well organized. Service was your normal Walmart staff with the ones in the aisles not speaking with you and the ones at the register being pretty short in their interactions. Per usual, even on busy days, there were not enough registers open, but they did have all the self check terminals open on both ends and had them staffed to keep things moving. Overall, this is a solid Walmart in a great location in PCB. While the neighbor store is my favorite of the retail giants, when in need or in doubt, this Walmart is at the top of my list for pop-ins! read more

I'm not a fan of Wal-Marts, but this one is above average. It has all of the regular stuff plus a bunch of local doodads like beach towels, etc. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable- which is a nice change. The fruit and veggies look fresh. So do the salads and sandwiches. There is a huge parking lot which is easy to maneuver in with large vehicles. read more

We are on a road trip and made a stop for food and snacks they had many things we loved and the interior was newly renovated and modern looking pretty basic your average super market but service was great and employees were helpful nothing bad to say so a 5 stars from me! read more

Walmart pharmacy needs a new manager. They actually told me to go somewhere else that they our having problems filling people prescribes.

We went to our local Walmart in Pier Park, PCB Fl, to make returns and purchase needed items. We made our returns with no problem. Went about shopping and filling a basket. One of the items we were looking for today was a Ninja food system because my husband purchased the Ninja Foodi for me, from this store. We went to their location and there was one sitting on the shelf with a price tag of a penny. I took pictures of the shelf tag and took my buggie of items to the register. Upon reaching the cashier I explained that she would need to call a manager. The CSM came to the register and agreed to go look on the shelf herself. We went back to the aisle where she called Lori from that department. Lori immediately came in and said I had flipped the tag, which I HAD NOT! Then Phillip came over and immediately said you are one of those people who wants stuff for nothing. I said excuse me. He said it again, You want something for nothing. I showed him the picture of the tag. He became even more belligerent. I have a severe disability of SLE, very documented because I am officially disabled. I have spotty short term memory due to the medications I take. Like I always do, I will pull out my phone and take a snapshot of who I am talking to. Then I walked away. Phillip then started chasing me as I was trying to join my family at the register and pay for my items INCLUDING the Ninja. He kept saying "you come back here". I said no. He kept following me saying that he wanted pictures of the thief. Really? I have been in upper retail management my entire adulthood. I have never so much as had a ticket. A foster parent who is trusted with children even gaining the title of foster parent of the year and allowed to adopt children. I can assure you, I have never stole even as much as a piece of gum. At the end of the aisle he had caught up with me and he was still spouting commands. I stopped and said "you need to stop following me". His answer was "This is my f*** store!** I explained that it was not Phillipmart but Walmart. He just kept on. He followed me to the front and at this point I am sure I was not pleasant. I again asked for him to stop following me and let me join my family and pay for my items and leave. He said for me to just leave. He told me to get my family and leave, so that is what we did. My husband wanted to go back and confront him and made it to a CSM. She said that we could call back but the manager was going to a meeting in Dallas. This manager needs to review the video footage from this incident and she will see I am telling the truth. The part that really gets me is I spent over $2000 at this store just for Christmas. I shop there several times weekly to the tune of over a hundred every time I walk in there. Obviously you don't need my business. I have spoken with all of our children and everyone has agreed to bring their presents to me. That store will get it all back and I will spread the work around my vast contacts. Shameful and I am owed an apology by Phillip. It is one thing to say that they cannot sell it for that price, and what Phillip did. He needs another profession because he has horrible customer service. We are done with this Wal-Mart even though it is closer. Never again. read more

Bought a board game in July and there were pieces missing. Now back in town in Oct and went to return it today with a receipt. Because I was 8 days past the 90 day return, I was SOL. The 2 customer service people were completely indignant and condescending. They told me I could exchange it for a new one, knowing they didn't have more on the shelf. Also, said I should have traveled home, to a different state, to return it on time. Today, I was planning on buying a printer there, but decided they didn't need my business after all. It's not the $ (refund) amount that is the issue, it's the principle of treating people correctly. read more

Thought I'd try this Walmart as the Front Beach one was so bad. Wrong again. Went on a Sunday afternoon and they were out of just about everything I went in for! The shelves were mostly empty. Even bottled water was gone except a few cases of the high price ones. No butter except margarine and a high price brand. No licorice from the American licorice company just awful swizzlers brand. Eggs were wiped out except reject packages. At checkout, 20 checkout lines but only self service, checkout 8 and 10 were open with 30 minute lines! Unbelievable bad service. Many employees just milling around watching the lines grow. In my opinion stay away and save yourself some stressful shopping. I'm done with all Wallyworlds! read more

Sunday night at 10 is not a great time. Shelves were needing re-stocked. They had what appeared to be workers contracted out from a company there to stock for the night. LOTS of checkout lines open. You probably don't see that on many Walmart reviews. Lane 11 was flawless. read more

This Wally World store is so much different from the one closer to my home, and so much better maintained. Not as upsetting and disappointing as the other one on Panama City Beach. This store is also better layed out and stocked. Produce actually looks healthier and rest rooms better maintained. Yes, it's newer than the other Wlamart store, and I'm sure it puts a hurt on Simon's Pier Park stores that sells any similiar items found in this store on the beach. read more

Only giving a 1-Star review because Arielle was just rude when she accused me of opening a box when she saw me looking at a product in the electronics department. I didn't even open the box; however, I did put another item IN its' box about 2 minutes before so I promptly removed it and returned it to the way it was when I found it. It's actually a good store so I hate to give it a 1-star, but seriously....does it really matter!? It's not like people actually use Yelp! to look at a global company's local store which are all genetically the same. On another good note, the Asst. MGR Ryan, listened to my complaint about Arielle and said he would talk to her. Although I don't believe anything will truly come of it (as I don't think any negative action should be taken), but maybe she might realize that even if she's having a bad day.... she needs to treat customers with professionalism. I'm unsure why the reviews on this place are so high. This place is the WORST. The staff here is unbelievably rude and unprofessional. My husband and I witnessed two women arguing loudly with each other in front of all the customers. They were wearing those dark blue 'hospitality' shirts. On a separate, but equally frustrating, occasion, My husband paid with a $100 and was due back $67 and some change. The cashier gave him back the coins but not the cash and we didn't even realize it until we went the the car. We hurried back inside and got major attitude from the cashier when we told her back it. The manager came over and they checked the register and they had an extra $67 in the register, which was obviously ours. The manager was apologetic about it, but the cashier was a giant douche. I asked a lady that was stocking items where something was and she mumbled the location under her breath without even looking up at me. Customer service at it's finest. Not only are the staff a bunch of pricks, but the shelves are also rarely fully stocked. A lot of times, the shelves are empty. Annoying. We'll probably start going to the one on Front Beach Road or just spend a little more money at Publix. read more

Curbside grocery pickup and delivery service is not reliable. In June 2020 my 7-8 am curbside pickup was not even ready at 8:30am. I called from the lot and it hadn't even been picked yet. Order was placed online a week before. They said it wouldn't be ready until 6pm or later. Had to cancel this HUGE order and go shopping elsewhere, as we had no food for our large group. Customer service was polite but offered nothing but an apology. Gave them another chance yesterday for delivery. A $300+ order for delivery 4-5 pm. On its way at 4:55. At my destination at 5:02 then....nothing. Called customer care, as locator on app wasn't working. Said there was a delay and another driver would be dispatched in 30-40 minutes. Then got an email saying they had CANCELED my order. Called again, and they contacted the store and arranged for us to pick up the order curbside. Drove to the store and the order was nowhere to be found. Just gone. They didn't know where it was. No compensation, no explanation, just sorry. This time I canceled the order. It was nearly 8 pm. Going grocery shopping somewhere else. DON'T waste your precious vacation time with this store. Shop somewhere else. read more

Just called three times. The first two times no one answered the phone, and the third time they put me on hold. I hug up after waiting 35 minutes. It would of been faster to drive there. read more
