I love Walmart!! Does anybody know if this one have prescribed glasses because the one in Los Banos doesn't pls help!!

Not a handicap friendly store 40 parking spots for handicap 2 carts never available. Donot go here if you are handicaped.

Don't know what the negative feedback is about. The prices are great, it's well stocked with both popular brands and low price options, has a very nice deli and bakery. This store generally isn't crowded, has self-checkout, and plenty of parking. What's not to like? read more

Shopped here recently, lots of goods. Total lack of plastic bags for shoppers to put stuff in, i.e., veggies etc. Long lines at the check out, only two registers open. Shelves in the grocery dept. don't seem to be stocked very well. Lacked a lot of stuff I usually buy. read more

I had the worst experience with this customer service today. I purchased a printer through the site to store feature two weeks ago and picked it up the same day I ordered it. Today was the first day I had time to set up my printer and as I opened it, I noticed that the ink cartridges were missing and the user manual did NOT correspond to my product. They sold me a defective product that was returned. There was scotch tape on the open ink cartridge, a clear sign of tampered items.. I immediately packed it back up to return it in store. I stood in like for 10 minutes only to realize the person working at customer service has no idea how to do a "large" return. Then they called up Demi (don't know her position?) and she said that this electronic product needed to be inspected before returning. The electronic worker said it was missing the ink cartridges. Duh, I told them that off the bat that I purchased the printer in this state! Then they paged the assistant manager, expect someone else shows up. Her name was Anneta and she said I need to call the online service and they would handle it. I called the online service immediately and they said that since it was a same day pick up, that they could not do anything for me online and the store needs to take care of it. Anneta spoke to the online service person only giving minimal answers. Then FINALLY (30+ minutes later) the assistant manager Marla comes and says that she cannot issue me a return (even though I was within the 15 day return time period). They basically were blaming me for not have the cartridges in the box and the incorrect user manual. I'm an honest person and for them to make those underlying accusations was insulting. Marla gave me three options: do an even exchange for the same printer, exchange it for a different printer and pay the difference, or contact the manufacturer of the product. HA. I wanted my return and they wouldn't do that for me. I eventually decided to just do an even exchanged and opened the box to ensure all the right products were in the box. I'll never be using the online site to store service EVER again. Worst experience ever. I have worked in retail for 3.5 years and I never experienced something as horrible as this. I never want to see Marla or Anneta's face ever again. read more

Worst store I've ever been to very poor customer service. I waited 25 minutes to try to get someone to open the liquor cabinet . I had an employee try to find someone and the made an announcement.I tried to find someone but apparently no one works in that entire half of the store on a Wednesday afternoon . I called the store my self . No answer . Called back 5 minutes later and they made an announcement and still no one came. I ended up leaving very pissed off . Went to save mart across the street and I guess it was for the best because the items ended up being way cheaper . Will not be shopping at this walmart again and I will recommend people do not shop here also !! read more

I am recently new to the area and as a celebratory night after a week long move my family sent me and my cousin on an alcohol run around midnight. I being 23 and my cousin being 20 (just shy of 2 weeks from turning 21 on the 31st) walked into the store and asked a sales associate to open the casing and grab a bottle of jack daniels with no problems. It was not until i reached the front of the cashier line that i was ID yet instead of allowing me to purchase the alcohol as i have done so many of times at multiple walmarts. I was detered and sent out of line due to the fact my cousin was with me. After much aggravating conversation with staff as to why i could not purchase my alcohol i was informed that due to the presence of a minor at the register during the time i was not allowed to purchase any alcohol at all for the entire day. My cousin and i both were not intoxicated in anyway and i found this to be an outrage since families come in all the time to purchase alcohol with their children and minors by their side. As a security officer i recognize profiling which is exactly the type of situation i found myself in making the whole experience VERY unpleasant and disappointing for my first time shopping at this Walmart. Thankfully Save Mart across the street was still open and the staff there had no problem allowing me to purchase the supplies i needed for my family without a hitch. Not sure how much shopping my family will be doing at this walmart if this is how customers are treated read more

I boy cotted walmart before this one opened up. The one in modesto off of mitchell is HORRIBLE, but this one is GREAT!!! A++++++++ for customer service. Everyone has been friendly and very helpful. The lines are not always long and dreadful like other walmarts. Their prices are just right. They are very accomidating..i needed a huge cart that i can place all my kids in and the employee went out of his way to bring it to my truck, also the manager has done the same inside the store. Only 2 check out stands open on a busy day/night. Where are all the associates? Self check stands only work for cards most of the time which makes things even more inconvenient. Lines will back up and nobody bothers to open a checkout stand. There never seems to be associates at their designated departments. I come here for make up sometimes when I run out and their aisles are a complete MESS and nothing I use is stocked, EVER. Kids run around the store like maniacs and it doesn't help when they are screaming and crying either. This Walmart always disappoints. I'd much rather go across the street to save mart or out of town to target. read more

If you have kids stay away from this walmart. Today an employee found a child no older than 2 yrs old in the bathroom. Did they announce it over the pa.....of course not....they let the child wander around and spoke to eachother via the headset. As me and another adult stood by the exit watching the child walk through check stands one of the managers looked at us and i quote said "Can we help you? You checked out already right?" I thought walmart back in the day was the one that began the "CODE ADAM" their employees should be trained accordingly. Also the computer in sporting goods for hunting and fishing licenses NEVER WORKS. The managers are rude. Items are never correctly shelf priced and when you go to pay they are higher priced and when you tell them the shelf price they always say well thats not their price it was marked wrong. I had a picture of an item in question with the price that was on the shelf and one of the managers was sitting there arguing with me after i had an argument with the cashier and had her call the manager and then i finally had to speak to the store manager. He then went to look at the shelf price and while the manager was arguing with me she had someone go change the price so the store manager would see the correct one and not what was on there before. Good thing i had a picture of it with the time and date stamp. Anywhere in the store you have to wait at least 15 minutes for someone to help you. Yesterday i stood in line for 45 minutes because they only had 2 registers open on a weekend. When you ask the employees for help they sigh and roll their eyes like your bothering them or interupting their conversations. read more

This Walmart is awesome. Considering the town it is in. I never liked Walmart anything until now. They carry everything you need and then some. Good service and the Pharmacy services are amazing. You might get an awkward employee once in a great while, but I think it gives character ;) read more

Linda Linda Linda! She is an awful manager! I was waiting for a propane refill for over 30 minutes after calling customer service twice while I was waiting outside. So I finally decided to go inside and ask what was going on (I was already heated by that point) when I went I there, I told one of the customer service reps that I wanted my money back AND a refill for waiting so long. So she went to get the supervisor and she said she couldn't do that bc propane wasn't their brand. Ok. So I said then give me a gift card. She then got on the radio and the manager Linda said to give me 10% off. Nope. So I told the supervisor I wanted to speak to her (Linda). Lol , she came down all huffy puffy with attitude and just as I was ready to talk to her, another customer started complaining about waiting an hour in the ammo section. Linda decided to correct him and said "no you haven't been waiting for an hour because I was never told you were there" lol wow! Then she points at me and said "and you" hahaha at this point I knew she was bitchy. So I asked her why I couldn't get a gift card of my money I paid on the propane and she replied "because I'm not giving you anything just for waiting a couple minutes" . Good thing I had a receipt to show what time I paid for it "which was the last thing I got" and I had the 2 phone call times in my phone. So she told the supervisor "fine give her a $10 gift card and that's it!" Literally saying this as she was walking away from me smh hella rude. Even the supervisor looked at her with her mouth open in shock lol. Ya, I shoulda known better than to go to Walmart. I went to savemart and got propane in less than 5 minutes . read more
