I was in for literally ten minutes and saw TWO pet dogs that were clearly not service dogs. The accessibility for me, as a service dog handler with a disability, is not possible here. Let's be honest sometimes people crave crappy fried chicken, and what else would you expect from a maga store deli. Today was by far the worst fried chicken I have ever tried. Brought home a bucket of fried chicken, burnt beyond recognition. The inedible quality of this chicken was so spot on that for a minute I thought that I must have purposely purchased a bucket of burnt chicken instead of fried, because no decent human being would put this out for human consumption. I am very disappointed with my experience at this Walmart. I went in there to get a couple of things for dinner with my pregnant wife and kids. We went to self checkout because we only had like 4 things. We proceeded to scan the items and when I scanned the green beans the weight on them was not correct at which I didn't notice but before anything could happen the lady that works that area which goes by the name Ann (Anna) was right in our face telling me that I didn't weight it right and when I responded she raised her voice and kept telling me I was wrong. When I asked her to lower her voice she said that's how she talks so I asked for a manager. The manager was Diane she came over and listen to both sides of the story and when I told her that her worker was raising her voice at me. Ann proceeded to say no see how his story keeps changing and we kind of went back and fourth with our story's and in the middle of it her manager told her that she needed to lower her voice because she was clearly aggravated and was raising her voice at me again her manager asked her to talk away while she handles it. I just think it's ridiculous that I asked the lady to lower her voice and her manager had to ask her the same thing and all Ann had to say was this is how I talk. Clearly it's not if you manager had to tell you to lower you voice and to walk away. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I can't even give them one star(unfortunately I have to). I went to them for an oil change and they crushed my dipstick tube and when I talked to them about it, they said they don't touch the dipstick tube and didn't crush it and it was my fault. Yet I don't touch anything under the hood, only mechanics when I get oil changes. My mother got her vehicle services there and they put in the wrong air filter in her car, causing her $240 in damage because of their mistake and stated they don't have that size filter and were not responsible. My aunt has gone to them for oil changes and they left her cap off, causing all her oil to not stay in her vehicle and yet again, they didn't do it. I found this Walmart to be very well stocked and zoned up. It was also quite clean and the bathroom was not dirty or had a funny smell like many bathrooms do. I also found there associates to be knowledgeable and friendly. Most of them greated me with a smile and actually seemed like they wanted to work there, rather than it "just being a job". Came to pickup our grocery order today in the 3 to 4 pm slot in Poulsbo. While the usual wait has been about 15 minutes on past pickups, it is now 5:50 pm on Sunday, April 19, 2020 and still have not received our groceries. We've been told that the central offices overcooks the weekends. The pickup number is a voice recording and not able to take messages!! Not good customer service at all. I completely understand when a Walmart is short staffed as I was a Walmart employee in the past, but I was just waved off by an employee when I asked if someone could cut fabric for me. She dealt with another customer on the phone (understandable but could have explained). Then she and another employee told me no one could cut fabric because NO ONE in the store knew how and that they're short staffed. I gave a one star for the cake department. I ordered my cake last Monday evening and watched a nice gal take notes on the cake order which was 12 cupcakes and a small center cake in Camo. His name Ty on top with star rings all over. Simple. I got a call at 4:00pm the following Friday, one day before my 8 yo boys birthday party, to tell me that "she was slammed" and that the rainbow cake couldn't be done for my order and could I come a bit later to get my cake, maybe give her 1/2 hr. I asked if she could bake and finish a cake in 1/2 hr. She said no ??????. As confused as I was, I said take time you need, I'll come get cake early Saturday morning. My husband picked up the cake. By the looks of the pictures, I could of done a better job than this and tomorrow I'm taking my complaint to management. I wouldn't leave a star, if it were an option! I got one new tire on my rv on the 10th, because I was taking my kids to a camping trip the next day, on the 11th. We were 45 minutes away from the campsite, when I felt something was wrong with my rv. I immediately pulled over on I-5 south. I looked at the tire that was replaced, and to my shock the face of the tire was split all around! I had to call 911, because that was the only way to get roadside assistance quick! Towing company finally came to replace the tire. The reason why my tire split open was because the lug nuts were not tightened. Tow guy said he didn't even get to loosen them, because they came right off! All my kids could've died today! I had my 13 yrs old, 11, 6, and 6 months old in the rv. I will not even go back to Walmart to get my tire replaced, because I CAN NOT trust the mechanics with my family's lives!!! Whoever worked on my rv needs to get fired, for endangering my family! My wife and I - both in our 60's and new to Washington State and Poulsbo, went to the Walmart Supercenter in Poulsbo. When we went to check out a 20 - something Clerk asked to see our Identification. We presented our "OFFICIAL WASHINGTON STATE - TEMPORARY PAPER DRIVERS LICENSE" and our Picture California Drivers License which the DOL in Washington put a hole in, but told us we must present this CA License with the Paper License to prove identification. We are both retired, we purchased groceries and 1 bottle of wine. The 20- something clerk called her 30ish Manager - "CHRIS" over who was reading his phone, he denied the purchase because of the hole in the CA Drivers License - put there by the State of Washington DOL. According to Washington State Alcohol Beverage Laws, this is a valid form of identification and you are only required to be checked to verify age if you look under 35. We look over 50. While they had most items we wanted ignorance will prevent me from shopping there again. PLEASE KNOW THE LAW and THE RULES BEFORE DECIDING if an "OFFICIAL STATE IDENTIFICATION IS VALID" read more

The lady told me not to ask for a time frame because she would not give one and to come back tomorrow and "possibly" get my groceries. I go in and tell the greeter about it and he says"there is nothing we can do about it but you can call 911. Usually I am very pleased with Poulsbo Walmart but tonight My girlfriend and I went to Walmart to purchase a vacuum for our first house around 9:27pm on 2\16\20 and a few other small items such as car oil, tooth brushes, and chapstick . As we were checking out at the self check out the woman working the self check out comes over to us with a smirk on her face and hovers over us as if we were doing something wrong and or thinking we were shop lifting, it made us feel very uncomfortable as she sat there breathing down our necks about an inch away from us. Did not get her name but she was very rude and not helpful at all. I have also had a Walmart employee come up to me in a isle following me and asking if I was done shopping and if she could scan my items. It was very apparent that I was not finished shopping. Point is that people do not like being followed, rushed, nor hovered over while they are shopping its just rude. Give us our space. I will be going to Sequim Walmart from now on. Highly do not recommend some of there employees. Also bathrooms are very unsanitary and dirty. Might want to spend more time cleaning those instead of harassing customers read more

Ordered a photo album last week. The order said it should have been there by Sunday. I called and was transferred to the photo center. It rang for 2 minutes straight before someone in electronics picked it up. They said that no one has been in to work photo center for a couple of days and that someone would be in at 530. She said she would go check but for some reason I get the feeling that she put me on hold and went about doing other things because 20 minutes later she takes me off hold and said that there were no albums under my name. I asked her if it was just a matter of checking the boxes that have been shipped in and she said there were no boxes shipped in... BS! 2 weeks ago I had my do send new prescriptions to Walmart I have been using this pharmacy and the same meds for a long time. I have had a constant problem with getting refills they always seem to be out of the meds I need. I was contacted by an automated system that said they were out and they would contact me next week when they came in. Crickets so I went to the pharmacy today and they had not reordered the meds due to an incompetent staff. The pharmacists on duty could frankly have cared less. Need less to say I'm taking my business to another pharmacy. You can't count on this place having the meds you need when you need them and management could care less. Yes, this is a Walmart, but it's a sad one. It feels a bit more run down than other Walmarts, there is never any employee around to ask for help, and they are often out of things we want. The self checkout is also problematic, as you frequently need the checkout staff to login and help with something, but they are not necessarily right there, or particularly helpful. read more

I have shopped at the Poulsbo Walmart weekly since it first opened. Before that I shopped at the Bremerton store and before that - two stores in the eastern U.S. I've also worked for Walmart, while attending college and was asked to join their management training program, though I declined. Anyway, I am familiar with how those other 3 stores functioned and this one is not quite up to par. On the plus side, the Poulsbo store is huge. And the growing selection of USDA organic foods is greatly appreciated. That said, I have noticed two recurring problems with this store that that I have not seen in any other Walmart, or any store for that matter. If you shop in the afternoon, the merchandise is frequently in need of "zoning". The front items have been purchased and employees have not pulled the remaining items forward on the shelves. As a result, there are usually 1 to 4 things on my list that I cannot reach, so I leave without buying them. This happens most often in the food and hair-care aisles. And I can't find a nearby employee to help. Occasionally the bread and bottled water aisles are so wiped out of merchandise it looks like people have come in preparing for some natural disaster - much like our stores on the east coast looked when there had been a hurricane warning issued! The other recurring problem is that they will run out of an item and it will be out of stock for several months. I will check for it every week. There's still a tag and an empty spot on the shelf for the item. Then, sometimes 4 months later it reappears. So frustrating. What happened to Walmart's automatic reordering system? I have submitted a comment at least a year ago to management but have noticed no improvement since then. There is room for improvement here, for sure. read more

Went to return a 2 piece Bathing suit and what a terrible time I had in the service department. They would only give $1.00 for one piece and the they other they gave me the full refund. They said it was marked down well I went and found the SAME exact suit and it was not marked down to $1.00. I showed them they were wrong, but they still would not exchange for the full refund. However, they are convenient if you want things from multiple departments in one stop. The Poulsbo Walmart has virtually anything you could want; maybe not the highest quality or the greatest variety, but it is there. The wait in the pharmacy is horrendous! I prefer this walmart over the one located in bremerton because they seem to be well stocked and offer more item selections troughout the store. It also has a grocery section which makes it even more convenient if you have a busy schedule. read more

The night time employees are unprofessional animals. They all harassed the subway employee someone even going as far as to physically block him from leaving! No employee if any store should handle an escalated situation the way that they did. The subway employee was trying to leave work and all the Walmart employees ganged up on him.. one of them asking him for a recipt for his backpack and the other one tried to obstruct him from leaving because he didn't have a recipt (for his own bag) they gathered around each other like wild dogs for moral support and to demonize the subway employee and threatened him if he didn't leave. Their concern is not to be a professional at their job, their number one concern is to back up their coworkers so it seems like they are angels ( even when one of those trash Poulsbo Walmart employees physically blocked a customer/worker from leaving Walmart when he was just trying to go home. I just was there to get the oil changed in my car. 1. Took 2 hours 2. They said, they did vacuum, Worst job ever! 3. They got grease or oil on the carpet on the drivers side. 4. The employees were very poorly dressed. Dirty I understand because of what they are doing, however, their uniforms did not fit properly, and dirty greasy hair, not shaven, one employee's teeth were so gross. I went to the car care center about 2PM for an oil change. The service bay was empty. The log that they wrote on the receipt says that the service was completed in 33 minutes between 2:13 and 2:46. I checked on the car at 3:15 and it was still in the service bay. The actual was more like 1:55 until 3:25. It should not take an hour and a half to complete an oil change. I do not know if they get measured on turn around time but they clearly were not accurate in their service log, They would not allow us to pay until the service was completed and we had several other items we were purchasing. We had to wait several times in line for check out. Each time we were told to come back in 10 minutes. The customer service was terrible! read more

Dropped in to find delicious Top Cutter IPA and they had one 6 pack left for great price! At the checkout however the clerk wanted to card my 15 year old stepson for it, um no. After brief discussion she cards wife and I and points out our 14.5 year age difference and tells my wife she is "robbing the cradle".
